[The Fragments Of Kylin]

[Episode 16]

Mo Lan.

The fish are all ready to be cooked.

We've come ashore. Why will we still eat fish for supper today?

Mo Lan got a lot of fish when he was fishing on the boat.

I'll prepare them and make them dried fish

so they can be taken with us as food next time we go out.

They stink.

No one will force you to eat them.

Then

do your laundry yourself.

Okay.

Then you

go find food yourself.

You... I...

You...

You're a man.

How come you're so narrow-minded?

I really dislike spoiled girls

from rich families like you.

I offered to do laundry for everyone.

How can you say I'm spoiled?

You expect me

to say you're diligent and considerate?

You...

My Lady.

Why do you always make her angry?

And you.

You did the same.

I...

Enough, Mo Lan.

She's a girl.

Don't embarrass her too much.

I was telling the truth.

Isn't what I said true?

Besides,

it's none of your business.

I don't want to argue with you.

Waiter.

Serve us some good dishes tonight.

Okay.

What's up?

Why did you just order some nice dishes for tonight's dinner?

We eat fish every day.

I guess we're all tired of it.

What happened just now?

I heard you talk loudly from afar.

All right, forget about it.

By the way, Yan.

I made an investigation last night

and found that the Mo family had sent people to Yandu

to meet the Xuanyuan family.

Both families are looking for you.

Remember to tell Xuanyuan Yu

not to let anyone know her whereabouts

when she goes to see her second uncle.

Okay.

By the way,

I also heard some other news.

What news?

The elders of the Mo family said

they would remove you from the family tree.

The would even...

Go ahead.

They said

they would even kill you

if you continue to protect that demon.

Yan.

Are you really going to give up everything for her?

You don't even care about your family and your life?

You'll understand in the future.

What are you doing?

The weather is so nice today.

It's sunny today.

Look over there.

Give it back!

Mo Yan, give it back to me.

Is this for me?

Yes.

It doesn't look good.

But you can't dislike it.

Who said it doesn't look good?

No matter how ugly this embroidery is, I...

I mean,

as long as it's made by you,

I'll like it.

When I was in Mo's Mansion,

Second Madam disliked me because of my poor needlework skills.

I thought

she was just picking on me.

I didn't expect

the embroidery made by me would be so ugly.

No, it isn't.

Look at this small figure.

Look at the bamboo.

Look at the flower.

This flower is so lifelike.

It's very colorful.

It should be the word "Yan".

Look.

This is a Yan.

A colorful Yan.

Yan as in your name.

My wife is so good.

It's so creative.

But it's not all bad.

You'll never lose the sachet.

How come?

The sachet is so ugly.

No one will steal it.

That's great.

Then

no one will take this precious little thing away from me.

The dishes are ready. Please enjoy.

What a feast!

Who prepared those for us?

My Lady.

Young Master Mo Lan asked the kitchen staff to prepare them.

No matter who prepared them,

I'm so thankful to them.

Here.

Let's eat together.

Come on.

-Eat more. -That’s enough.

My Lady, try this.

Yes.

Young Madam, please eat more.

I'm sorry.

Actually, it was not that I was afraid of you back then.

I was just

not used to your identity.

We've lived together for three years.

I should have realized

that no matter you're a demon or a human, you've never changed.

Yes.

I should say sorry too.

These days

Young Madam

has been the same as before.

And I believe in Young Master Mo Yan's judgment.

He has always been a good judge of character.

Besides,

Young Madam doesn't look like the demon that is as scary

as what the rumor says.

What are you talking about?

I didn't mean that.

Shi Si.

I don't know what you're thinking.

But none of us

will leave you.

Whether you're a demon or a human

has nothing to do with me.

You are you.

It has nothing to do with anything else.

Thank you, everyone.

Mo Lan.

This is such a happy occasion.

Don't be a bummer.

Say something.

Say what?

Say it!

Say it, Mo Lan.

To this moment.

Cheers.

To this moment.

To this moment.

To this moment.

To this moment.

By the way,

the annual Flower Lantern Festival

is going to be held in Yandu soon.

The streets will be very lively by then.

We can have fun there all day.

Let's go there.

I want to go, too!

-Then let's... -Let me go with you.

Go there together.

Do you remember...

Then it's decided.

Don't go back on your word.

Which is the most delicious?

You'll know after you try all of them.

Then I'll try all of them.

Mo Lan, don't be shy.

You'll go with us.

And the sugar figurines are also very good.

By the way,

we can also watch fireworks together.

Let's go together then.

Deal.

Deal.

The weather is so nice today.

It's so beautiful here.

By the way,

are you sure your second uncle has come to Mount Panlong?

Of course.

After he has a fight with my father every time,

he'll come to Mount Panlong to practice his magic.

He must have done the same this time.

You don't believe me?

No.

I just hope

we won't waste our time here.

What's wrong?

Are you tired?

We don't know where to go anyway.

Maybe this is a waste of time, but so what?

What's that look about?

Tell me.

What do you mean?

Nothing.

Shi Si.

Let Mo Yan discipline his brother.

Look at him.

He's unfriendly to me.

I want to ask Brother Yan's wife

why she sees you, who is so noisy, as her best friend.

Am I noisy?

Shi Si.

Enough.

You go on fighting.

-Wait. -Let’s go.

What on earth do you mean?

I don't want to talk to you.

Stop being unreasonable.

Are they fighting again?

-You have to make it clear today. -Mo Yan.

-Stop fighting. -Calm down.

Do you like your present life?

Of course.

Her Ladyship...

He made me angry deliberately.

Unfortunately,

everything is going to end.

Greetings, First Young Demon Lord.

My Lady.

The appointed day has come.

I kept my promise.

I know.

Although it hasn't been two year since we got married,

let's

divorce today.

Divorce?

Are you serious?

Forget me.

Yan!

[Demon Realm]

My Lady.

My Lady.

My Lady.

You're finally awake.

You've been in a coma for three days.

This is your residence in Demon Realm,

Lichan Palace.

First Young Demon Lord.

How are you feeling?

Much better.

My Lady.

What spell were you put under in the human world?

Three days ago,

we brought you back to Demon Realm.

When we were talking...

-You remained silent. -What were you talking about?

My Lady, that's not important.

I haven't been back for a long time.

I need to get enough knowledge

of the affairs in Demon Realm as soon as possible.

Yes.

First Young Demon Lord.

Let me tell you what happened in Demon Realm.

Three years ago, after the Great War between Humans and Demons ended,

Demon Realm was almost destroyed completely.

The demon lord was critically injured.

So he started to practice magic in seclusion.

First Young Demon Lord, you went missing in the human world.

and we couldn't find you.

So Second Young Demon Lord

started to be the regent of Demon Realm.

Second Young Demon Lord is young and ambitious.

Although he was powerful,

he didn't have enough prestige.

He wanted to make your forces become his so much

that he acted recklessly.

To fully control Demon Realm,

he started to massacre others.

I'm one of the elders in Demon Realm

who are very stubborn.

So we're targeted by him.

After the Great War,

Demon Realm was in a mess.

If demons continue to kill each other,

I’m afraid Demon Realm will fall apart.

First Young Demon Lord, I hope after you come back,

you'll improve the situation.

Thank you.

Get up.

Thank you, First Young Demon Lord.

No wonder

Wutan Baluo tried to kill me several times.

So it was my younger brother who made him do that.

My Lady.

Thanks to Second Young Demon Lord's involvement,

we got many clues

to your whereabouts

from Wutan Baluo who flied everywhere every day.

Last time, you made

such a big scene in Mount Niuyang.

Not only did you fail to bring First Young Demon Lord back

but also got yourself seen by Wutan Baluo.

If you hadn't let him know your whereabouts,

he wouldn't have made demons in the mountain

assassinate First Young Demon Lord.

You...

In this regard,

you're just as stupid as your enemy.

My Lady.

I...

I'm a fish.

My memory is poor.

When I'm in the human world,

my memory event gets poorer.

Besides,

your husband in the human world...

He...

He just interrupted me

and I forgot what I was going to say.

Well,

I'm more interested

in the fragments.

My Lady.

Your Lordship.

My Lady.

You...

Have a seat first.

My Lady.

Are you okay?

Those fragments

are the broken pieces of your kylin horns.

I found that

there were ten fragments in total.

After the Great War,

they scattered in the human world.

Later, some demons picked them up

and used them to improve their magic.

First Young Demon Lord.

The kylin horns are the source of your demonic aura.

I don't know how you lost them.

But without them,

you would lose much of your energy.

The fact that you often go into a coma

may have something to do with it.

Back then,

when I was practicing my magic in the human world,

I always failed to find the right way.

Now I think

it was because my way of practicing is wrong.

As a demon, I shouldn't have used the human's way of practicing in the human world.

But I did, and inevitably, it didn't work.

Fortunately, Mo...

They found four fragments for me

so I gradually recovered.

Then

why do you often faint?

It's probably a side effect of the fragments.

No matter what,

the fragments of kylin horns

must be returned to their owner.

While looking for you,

I also found one fragment.

I hope it can help you

recover soon.

My Lady.

I have one too.

First Young Demon Lord, take a good rest.

We’ll leave now.

Okay.

I'm not leaving.

I want to stay there and chat with Her Ladyship.

I'm not leaving.

You're a fish.

Why do you have so much nonsense to talk?

You old turtle.

Yan.

Young Master, have some water.

How long did I sleep?

Not long.

You've been suffering from insomnia these days.

You finally fell asleep.

When you were dreaming, you were calling...

Young Master, you must be hungry.

I'll get you some food.

Are you not busy at all?

Why did you stay here and hear me talk when I was asleep?

You got badly hurt by her sword.

If you have a nightmare,

you'll probably never wake up.

What did I say when dreaming?

You were calling the name of that callous girl who you still love.

Yan.

I don't understand.

What?

You always tell me

that not all demons are bad

and that not all humans are good.

I tried to believe that.

But in the end, she still chose to hurt you

and part from us.

From what I know about her,

I believe she has her reasons.

Even if she does,

it seems that she has never

thought about what will happen to you

after she leaves.

She left me and that's it.

I'm used to it.

I will get you back.

My Lady.

Are you

missing the man in the human world?

He

is indeed good-looking.

But I'm still

a little more handsome than him.

My Lady, what do you like about him?

He and I

have divorced.

Yes.

My Lady.

The days you spent in the human world

are nothing but illusions.

Really?

My Lady, you should learn from me.

You should be good at forgetting.

Then you'll feel at ease.

Besides,

the real important memory

should be about something will be deeper and deeper.

For example,

my love for you

will never change despite great changes in the world.

Okay.

I see.

I’ll get lost myself.

Second Young Demon Lord.

First Young Demon Lord has been brought back to Demon Realm.

Useless!

How come she came back alive?

It's my fault.

It's good that she's back.

Let me kill her myself

♫The person in the dream♫

This is my first time to get married.

♫Falling like a flower♫

So I'm not familiar with it.

It's also my first time.

♫The heart withers into a desert♫

Do you think

two people who love each other

will be together forever?

Of course.

The true love between a couple

♫The wind and the rain have seen through the vagaries of fate♫

can go beyond the restrictions brought by seas and mountains.

If I'm not the real Xuanyuan Yu,

♫Where do you wander off to?♫

what will you do to me?

I married you,

not anyone else.

♫Can't see through♫

♫The karma of destiny♫

♫Who will accompany the song in my heart?♫

♫Time goes by and desolates love and hate♫

Shi Si!

♫The past is like a dream♫

♫Sounds echoing♫

Shi Si.

You know I won't be able to forget you.

♫Your smile is like the spring breeze♫

So please don't forget me.

♫My heart is like jade and I used to be crazy about you and I don't regret it♫

No.

Don't look at me in that way.

♫The destiny brought us so much misfortune but we remain stubborn♫

♫You made me a promise♫

♫Spring comes and flowers bloom again♫

♫I just smile♫

[Bilifu Inn]

It still doesn't work.

Is it because she's too far away from me?

Young Master.

Young Master!

Young Master!

Bad news!

Something happened in the city.

What's wrong?

The animals in the circus went crazy.

They're killing people ahead.

Go and see if you're not afraid of death.

Help!

How handsome he is!
