Primarily it's the result
of pressure from the multinationals

with mining interests in that country. The
terrorist Khordad is a much-feared man.

With him on their side,
they'll get what they want.

And what do we give Khordad in return?

could happen and it could all be made

to look like a botched attempt
to kill the novelist.

And after the hit failed?

They went back to Khordad
to try to get a new deal.

But they didn't manage it.

He simply threatened
to go over to the French.

They're going to try
and hit Harakat again?

As they see it,
they've got no choice.
