[The Fragments Of Kylin]

[Episode 8]

Where is he?

I don't know.

-My Lady. -He's gone.

-My Lady. -Where did he go?

You...

I finally found you,

My Lady.

-Where did he go? -How come we lost him?

You know me?

How could I not know you, My Lady?

Don't!

So annoying.

Are you going to listen to him?

He said he knows me.

Let me ask him first.

You said your name is...

Mo...

My name is Mo Jialuo, My Lady!

How could you forget me?

-My name is Mo Jialuo! -Mo Jialuo.

Well...

Why are you here?

I'm here to find you, My Lady.

My Lady,

you are my beloved, My Lady.

Why are you touching my wife?

Let go of me!

Let go of my husband!

Let go!

Why are you touching him?

-He's holding you. -Let go! Let go!

Let go! Let go of her!

Why are you so bothersome?

-Let go! -Let go of him!

Let go!

-Let go of him! -Let go of me!

-Let go of him! -Let go!

-Let go! Uncle Nian! -Lan!

Don't hurt my lord!

Stinky catfish!

Let go of me!

You old chap!

Aren't you formidable,

you half-drangon?

Let go!

I'll kill you!

Let go of me!

-You let go first! -Let go of me!

You let go first!

I'll do it if you do it!

I won't do it if you don't!

Why would I if you don't?

If you don't let go of me,

I won't let go of her!

-You let go first! -Let go of me!

-Let go, now! -Let go of me!

Stop it!

When I count to one, you both let go.

Three,

two...

one.

I knew you wouldn't let go!

Let go! Let go!

-Let go! Let go! -You let go first!

-I'll do it if you do it! -Let go!

-I'll do it if you do it! -Let go!

-No, no! -You let go first!

You let go first!

Let go!

My Lady, you hit me.

I'm sorry, Mo Jialuo.

Honey, does it hurt?

I'm sorry.

My Lady, it hurts me too.

Alright, Honey.

Let me finish my business first.

We can talk later.

Please.

Why are you here?

Why am I here?

Why am I here?

Uncle Nian.

Can't you see I'm busy?

Let go of me!

I see.

Why am I here?

This stupid fish is silly.

Ignore him.

Don't say I'm silly.

I just have a bad memory.

It's okay.

I'm silly too.

Really?

Yes.

Do you know about the fragment?

The fragment?

The fragment!

The fragment.

The fragment.

The fragment...

What's your problem?

Why do you want to snatch it from me?

Can you give it to me then?

If you want it,

then of course I can give it to you.

No.

I feel like I can give it to you,

but I also feel like I can't.

Why is that?

I got it!

I have to...

I have to collect them all

before I can give them to you.

Collect?

Collect?

Are there many fragments like this one?

There are ten of them.

However,

I don't know where they are now.

It took me

a lot of effort

just to find this one.

My Lady,

I did it for you.

My Lady!

Just talk.

Don't be handsy.

You said you did it for me.

But why?

Because...

Because...

I got it.

It was because...

Because of what?

My Lord,

I really can't take it anymore.

That guy is quite formidable.

I didn't expect him

to really be something.

That fish,

come here!

Today, I'll either stir-fry you

or braise you.

There's no third method!

Uncle Nian.

Let go of me!

Must we

fight this out?

My Lord,

according to records,

this battle is unnecessary.

We can retreat first.

Sounds good.

My Lady.

There are too many unwanted people today.

I'll come back to you another day.

By then,

we can have a deep conversation.

I...

My Lady, see you.

You haven't answered my question.

Where is he?

Where is the fish?

Did he run away?

That fish has a fragment.

Why didn't you snatch it?

You scared him away

before we had a chance.

What should we do now?

At least we got some information.

For example...

But compared to that,

I'm more curious about

why he said you were his beloved.

Did...

Did he say that?

He did.

Guys,

is that the point?

Yes.

But...

I really don't know him.

Before, it was Sikong Shaoyun.

And now, here comes a...

a Mo Jialuo.

What...

What do you mean?

I mean

you are so charming

that you have so many admirers.

Well...

Well...

You are not too different from me.

Do you know how many girls were secretly watching you

at the archery tournament?

But they didn't boldly express their love

like Mo Jialuo did.

You don't know

that they praised your muscles

right in front of me.

Right in front of me!

Stop!

-Get lost! -Get lost!

I'm going to hunt some wild game.

Mo Jialuo.

What does that mean?

Sikong Shaoyun.

He still hasn't apologized to me.

What?

I just want to see if what they said is true.

Why don't you give it a try?

Fine.

♫The person in the dream♫

♫Falling like a flower♫

You ambushed me last night.

♫The heart withers into a desert♫

And now you're feeling embarrassed?

You...

You fought back last night, didn't you?

♫The wind and the rain have seen through the vagaries of fate♫

Why don't I remember?

♫Where do you wander off to?♫

You really don't know that Mo Jialuo?

Do you know he's from the demon clan?

Yes.

I could tell.

He seems to be very familiar with you.

But I don't remember him at all.

-I trust you. -I...

However...

before, that bird said it knew me,

and now this fish says it knew me too.

Do I...

Do I really have some connection

with the demon clan?

You just realized it?

What should I do then?

Are you asking me?

Yes.

Because...

Because...

I think you're reliable.

Whatever.

Honey,

don't be angry anymore.

They're back.

My Lady, Young Master Yan,

you are back.

Did you make any progress today?

I've been fishing all day

and didn't have time to practice.

Honey, I'll make up for it next time.

Well, where's the fish you caught?

He escaped.

Next time, if I catch him,

he's either going to be stir-fried or braised.

I wonder who's being angry with a fish.

Grow up a little.

Well,

who got jealous over a fish?

You...

Alright, Honey.

Let's go.

Getting jealous over a fish?

Do I smell good?

Do you have something to tell me?

Are you taking me somewhere?

Wait for me!

Slow down.

Where are you taking me?

Don't...

Don't come over!

Break!

Did you get hurt?

I didn't get to.

You really believed that I would come to save you?

Watch out!

Don't be afraid.

It's a dragon howl,

which specializes in restraining demons that use sound.

Okay.

Young Madam really has a physique that attracts demons.

It hasn't been long,

and another wave has come.

Thank you.

You should thank Yan.

Thank you, Honey.

So,

the clue I left was not bad, wasn't it?

Moon Chasing

is used for tracing tracks.

You used it incorrectly.

Moon Chasing

is originally used for tracing tracks.

But you left the thread on the pillar

and tied the knot

on yourself,

which was the wrong approach

but led to a positive outcome.

I see.

Was it that you didn't teach well, or she didn't learn well?

With just this lousy skill,

you actually came out to lure the enemy?

So, did it work or not?

It worked.

Then that's all that matters.

I'll leave it to you.

Got it.

Let's go.

Why did Mo Lan stay there?

To interrogate that bat

and find out the demon who's controlling him.

I shouldn't

have come here, should I?

You should,

but also shouldn't.

We came here

to investigate the matter of the demon clan.

The clue you lured out

might catch a big fish.

However, you have just learned the magic,

and it's not enough for self-protection.

You shouldn't have taken risks alone.

I didn't feel like I would encounter any danger.

Just because of your self-healing power?

No.

It was because...

I've never felt that I would be in danger.

It's like...

It's like I know those demons can't hurt me.

What do you mean?

Look.

I can't explain why.

Let's go back first.

Okay.

What did you find out?

Before I even said anything,

the bat was already scared out of his wits.

He's not a high-level demon.

Why did he attack her?

He said he was only ordered to kill Xuanyuan Yu.

As for everything else,

he doesn't know.

By whom was he ordered?

He only knows that the name of the person

is Wutan Baluo,

who is said to hold a high position

in the Demon Realm.

As for what it is

and why it did this,

at his level,

he doesn't have access to that information.

This Wutan Baluo

gave this order

to many demons.

What's wrong?

Why are you bleeding?

Were you too focused on practicing

and got backfired?

Demonic aura?

It must be the demonic aura that entered your body,

causing you to be confused.

Let me help you disperse the demonic aura

in your body right now.

If we wait any longer,

your hand will be crippled.

Come,

give me your hand.

Wait a minute.

Are you trying to suck out the poison for me?

No, you can't.

You'll get poisoned too.

Have you been reading too many cheap stories from street stalls?

The other one.

What move is this?

This is called Lightning Chasing,

a move that can enhance magical power.

You can understand it as an approach

to materializing magical power

and transforming it into various weapons.

So I can use it

on Moye Sword,

strengthening its attack and defense,

or turn it into a needle

to extract the demonic aura.

Mo Yan,

can I

learn this spell?

No, you can't.

Lightning Chasing

is extremely draining on magical power.

It would be too much for you

in your current state.

Using it once

might make you sleep for several days.

It's too dangerous.

Well,

what about you?

Are you going to be alright?

Did you

have a nightmare just now?

Yes.

I had

a weird dream.

In the dream,

I was in a place.

What place?

That place had...

a blood-red sky.

And...

What's wrong?

I can't remember.

My head hurts when I try to keep thinking about it.

Just stop thinking about it.

It's okay.

There's no rush.

Have I...

caused you a lot of trouble?

Yes.

So...

So, be a good girl.

That way,

I won't worry about you.

Okay.

Are you sleepy?

Sleep now.

In a few days,

I'll take you on a spring outing

to relax.

Yan.

Lan.

Where have you seen a blood-red sky before?

During the Great Human-Demon War 3 years ago.

It was demon lord Shuo Tian's illusion,

which can stop time.

Why did you ask this all of a sudden?

It was because of her,

right?

Yes.

She said she had seen it too.

Yan,

are you still unwilling to admit it?

Admit what?

This only proves

that 3 years ago, she was also

on that battlefield.

Besides the demon clan, there was also the human race on the battlefield.

You've already confirmed that she is not Xuanyuan Yu.

She is a woman of unknown origin

who took Xuanyuan Yu's place and married into the Mo family.

She was first attacked by a high-level demon in the ancestral hall,

then absorbed the fragment

related to the demon clan at the pasture.

Today, that fish clearly knows her.

Tonight, a bat that was ordered

to kill her came here too.

Now, she said that she had seen the Blood Moon Illusion too.

Aren't all these signs enough to show

that she has a deep connection with the demon clan?

Lan,

I know what you're talking about.

We're here precisely

to investigate...

Yan.

In fact, you had already deduced it,

hadn't you?

Perhaps she doesn't just have a deep connection with the demon clan;

she is from the demon clan!

You can hide it from me,

but you can't deceive yourself.

Even though she is not Xuanyuan Yu,

it doesn't necessarily mean she's a demon.

Stop lying to yourself!

If you can't bring yourself to do it,

then let me handle it.

What do you want to do?

Lan,

I'm not trying to avoid anything.

But are the demon clan really that hateful?

Of course they are!

Aunt Suyun is also from the demon clan.

What did she do wrong in her life?

Just like you, she...

Don't mention my mom!

Yes,

she did nothing wrong in her life.

The tragedy was destined the moment

the noble dragon race

bowed to the human race.

Lan, calm down!

How do you expect me to stay calm?

My mom dedicated herself to the Mo family.

In the end,

she became a victim of the conflict between the human and demon races.

I detest the greedy demon clan who instigated the war,

and I equally detest the hypocritical human race.

Yan.

I've told you before

that I would never compromise with any side.

You saved me, so I swore

to live for you for the rest of my life,

and to eliminate anyone

who might pose a threat to you.

Lan,

I treat you as my own brother.

You don't need to live for me.

You also can't

make any decisions for me.

I can listen to you on other matters,

but,

not this one.

She has no intention to harm me.

Fine.

Let me ask you.

If she has nothing to hide,

why doesn't she tell you her true identity?

I don't care about her identity.

Even if she's just an ordinary girl from a common family,

she's still important to me.

I care about her for who she is.

You finally admitted it, Yan.

You know she's not just

an ordinary girl from a common family.

She's from the demon clan.

There's no need for me to prove it to you.

A demon has been lurking by your side for so long.

She must have ulterior motives!

She said she lost her memory, and you just believed it?

She trusts me. Why can't I trust her?

She is my wife.

You've lost your judgment because of her.

It's okay.

I'll take care of all the trouble for you.

I'll keep my promise.

Lan!

Young Master,

last night Mo Lan left in a hurry.

I have no idea what happened.

I also heard that

there is a wild beast in the mountains.

Young Madam is here.

Honey, I'm ready.

Let's go.

You were poisoned last night.

You must rest at home today.

I'm fine now.

There is a wild beast in the mountains.

I'm going to investigate with Mo Yu.

I want to go with you.

Be a good girl.

Alright then.

Be careful.

And you must come back early.

Don't worry.

I'm leaving.

Be a good girl.

I'll be back soon.

I'm leaving.

Let's go.

You must come back early.

My Lady, you were poisoned?

When did that happen?

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

Let me take a look.

Did Lan say anything to you when he left?

He just said that he wouldn't be staying

at the village for the next few days,

and would be out investigating something.

Then how did you find out about the wild beast?

Yesterday, while you were out,

I went down the mountain to do some shopping

and ran into a scout of the Mo family

who was reporting this news to a secret post.

And I heard

it was in Mount Niuyang.

What a coincidence.

I reckon Mo Lan also came to hunt this beast.

Where is it?

The scout said...

it was in that direction.

Did he mention what kind of beast it was?

He said it was a giant serpent,

five-men tall,

rising with the mist and flying without legs.

Young Master.

It's already here?

I must have guided the way too accurately.

Young Master,

this serpent looks terrifying!
