It made me think of my dad.

When he'd have one of
his schizophrenic episodes,

he would get delusional,
have these crazy hallucinations.

And then, when he got
back on his meds,

he'd go all quiet
and distant on us.

That must have been rough.

I always felt like
he wasn't interested in me.

But I think, really,
he was just

feeling ashamed,

because he thought
that we saw him as weak.

And that wasn't it at all,
we just cared

so much about him.

What I'm saying is,

I don't think it was pity
that you saw on Matthew's face.

It was more likely worry.
