Ten years ago...

A beautiful family lived opposite to my house.

A Father, Mother and their two Children!

At around 12 in the midnight, they knocked my door in panic

They said he had a cardiac arrest.

We had no clue what to do

We took him to the nearby hospital immediately

It was not even a kilometer away

The hospital said that he was brought dead.

Within an hour, the family’s future shattered.

In today’s stressful lifestyle

A cardiac arrest can happen anytime, to anyone.

Cardiac arrest means that, the heart stops beating.

As a First Responder, call for ambulance immediately.

Check for the pulse and breath of the collapsed person

If there is no pulse or breath, start the CPR procedure immediately

To perform CPR, press the center of chest using your palms, 100 times per minute

If you keep repeating this,

By this time, the ambulance would have arrived

And they will commence the Advanced Life Support for the patient immediately.

This increases the possibility of the patient's survival.

As a first responder, the first aid you give could save several lives

For this, you do not need any medical knowledge or equipment.

Had I watched a video like this before, maybe I could have saved him

A person in every household must know about this life saving first aid called CPR

When needed, they must rush in to save a life

Saving a life using our hands, without needing any medical equipment is called CPR
