tell him that we lost another person that he loved?

[sniffles] As soon as Marlena pulled

through, I-I rushed down to the chapel to tell Eric.

I will never forget the look on his face when we said that his

mom had come back to us, you know, his...his smile.

maybe...maybe it's time. Maybe you should finally just

We're not engaged. We're not even dating and right

now, if anything, I'm just the undocumented Chinese woman who

was staying at your place because my sister disowned me.

marriage. Which it could be, someday.

El Fideo's crew are even more vicious now that he's dead.

followers, so I'm gonna tell them all what a great person

Haley is, I'm gonna get all of them on her side.

I was thinking we could also do a fundraiser, like a mini

concert type thing. I was thinking that I could

write a song about what Haley's going through.

I don't want you marrying me out of guilt.

have feelings for you.

>> Maggie: What happened with Eric?

>> Sarah: [sighs] Well, um...

before Marlena woke up, I found him in the hospital chapel...

opening up to each other about love and faith.

And I just felt--I felt so close to him, so...

Then, having done that, how did he react?

>> Sarah: We didn't get a chance to talk about it right away,

whole Eric and Nicole thing. Oh, and it gets better.

Because right after Brady walked in, Rex walks in.

>> Maggie: Did Brady tell Rex about the kiss?

>> Sarah: Thought that he would, but he didn't.

>> Maggie: [exhales] >> Sarah: And when Eric and I

finally got a chance to be alone and talk for a second, we

decided that we wouldn't tell Rex because...

Eric doesn't feel the same way about me as I do him.

>> Maggie: You asked him? >> Sarah: Point blank.

I told him that I had feelings for him--which was obvious at

that point. And...he told me that

I was a really great...friend. >> Maggie: Oh.

Honey...I'm sorry. >> Sarah: I feel so stupid.

And not just because I made such an ass out of myself by kissing

Eric but because I thought that he wanted that.

And of course it's not what he wants.

He's still mourning Nicole. And I knew that, but I just sped

right past it like I always do. >> Maggie: [clears throat]

Well, because of this and your scare with Marlena...

I think you could use a little escape.

[both laugh] How 'bout Mom treating you to a

spa day tomorrow? Massages, manicures?

Yes, definitely manicures. [both laughing]

The whole nine. >> Sarah: That's really sweet.

But I'm fine, I really am. I just, um...

I think the whole Eric thing maybe was just a fixation, and I

just have to accept that it's only platonic

between us. At least on his side.

And I need to move on. Focus on Rex.

>> Maggie: We, uh, we've discussed this...

[laughs] I mean, you shouldn't commit to

a life with Rex by default. >> Sarah: I love him.

>> Maggie: Do you?! >> Sarah: And he loves me. I--

I have to learn how to trust him again.

>> Maggie: Well, he has his work cut out for him,

considering all that he's done. >> Sarah: I can't exactly blame

Rex for cheating on me when I've just kissed his brother.

Why do I always make such a mess of everything?

the dream. It's...it's kind of a blur.

me tidy up a bit? Sarah's coming over for dinner.

I can, uh, go for a run, give you guys some privacy.

>> Rex: Thank you. I really appreciate it.

Eric, you really are a great brother.

I'm sorry I ever doubted that. Look, um...I'm gonna talk to you

about this. What Brady said, that warning

that he gave me... I admit that I let it...get to

me. Not that I ever thought you

would hurt me on purpose. It's just you and Sarah are...

you're very close, and-- >> Eric: Rex, I--

>> Rex: No, no, it's okay, really--I talked to Sarah about

it and I know--I believe that there is nothing romantic going

on between the two of you. And why would there be?

You're our biggest fan. You're rooting for us.

And also talking to Brady, he admitted that he was just

lashing out because of what was going on with Marlena and...he's

trying to put the situation between you and him and Nicole

behind him. But it's tough.

>> Eric: Yeah, I get it. >> Rex: Nicole was the love of

your life. And Sarah is the love of mine.

So again, I'm sorry that I went there.

I know you would never come between me and Sarah.

>> Claire: So how would you like to take your girlfriend home for

a date night? >> Tripp: Look, I'd love to,

really worried about Haley but, you know, with everything she's

going through, she probably just wants to chill by herself

upstairs. So how 'bout I make her some

food, then we can be alone. >> Tripp: What about Ciara?

>> Claire: She has a paper due, so she'll be at the library till

late. So how 'bout this--I'll go to

the store and I'll get everything I need to cook you a

gourmet dinner. >> Tripp: Sounds great.

[beep beep] >> Claire: What is it?

>> Tripp: The...the judge made a decision about Haley.

She has to leave the country within 30 days.

>> Claire: Oh, no. Oh, poor thing.

>> JJ: I've really missed you since you've been gone.

It was nice just...having meals together, playing music and

talking, and I-I actually felt like we were...we were really

starting to connect before everything hit the fan.

>> Haley: But it did. >> JJ: I know.

And I wish so badly that we could just pick up where we left

off and go slow and get to know each other, but right now, the

clock is ticking. We have to jump right in and get

married and-- >> Sarah: Okay, okay, um...

even if I thought this was a good idea--which I don't--

there's still one huge reason I can't marry you, JJ.

>> JJ: What's that? >> Haley: You can't fix this.

You can't. You betrayed my confidence, and

that's...that's why I'm in this situation now.

And yes, I've let it go. I've let it go because I'm tired

of being angry. I don't wanna be angry anymore

at you or anybody else. But...

marrying you... no.

>> Ted: Hey, Hope. I owe you an apology.

>> Hope: For what? >> Ted: Well, your husband

doesn't seem to like very much the fact that you are in my

corner. And I'm sorry if I create any

conflict. Have you two made peace yet?

have some issues with Rafe's loyalty.

I just want to say that I hope I didn't make anything worse.

>> Hope: Rafe and I will... we'll work through this.

me order dinner--like a real dinner.

We can eat and work at the same time, right?

>> JJ: I understand why you hold me responsible for the situation

you're in. Hell, Haley, look, I am

responsible. But there aren't too many other

ways to avoid getting deported. Like I said, I just...

I want to do this for you. You know, why don't...

why don't you just come back to my place, there's no pressure,

just to give you some alone time to think.

And if you do end up saying yes, it might look good that you're

staying with me again. >> Haley: I-I can't.

I need to go back to the loft. >> JJ: Aren't there a bunch of

reporters camped out there? >> Haley: There's a back

entrance, so I-I can avoid them. >> JJ: Okay, um...it's your

call. Whatever decision you make

tonight and going forward, I'll respect them, and I promise not

to push. But Haley, we're under the gun.

>> Haley: Okay.

>> Tripp: Straight to voice mail.

Maybe Haley turned off her phone to avoid the press.

>> Claire: Yeah. Or maybe she's meeting with her sister.

She is a big-time lawyer. >> Tripp: Yeah, and a big-time

ice queen. >> Claire: Well, yes, that is

true, but her little sister's about to get deported.

So I'd say it's possible that her heart melted just a little

bit. >> Tripp: Maybe you're right.

>> Claire: Look, since we can't reach Haley, I'd say the best

thing for us to do is just be at home, right, for if and when

she decides to come back. >> Tripp: Okay, yeah. I'll head

doing so much better, but they're gonna keep her for

I just wanna, um...I wanna clear the air.

I know that you think of me as only a friend.

I accept it. And I just don't want this

horrible awkwardness that I created to ruin what was a good

thing. I-I'm really embarrassed about

what I did. I mean, it's like off the

charts at how much I am embarrassed, and I really made a

really glad that we were honest about our feelings.

necessarily wanted to celebrate. But I just wanted you to know

I didn't necessarily want you to have to go through that pain

Uh, Eric, could you grab some ice?

>> Sarah: Aw, thank you, Doc. But it really doesn't even hurt.

compression bandage from my bag, and after the swelling goes

down from the ice, I think that will do the trick, okay?

>> Eric: It's a little cold... right here.

>> Haley: Insane, right? I told you.

>> Tripp: Yeah. Why--why would JJ think--I mean, you've been

so angry at him for telling his dad about your status...

>> Haley: And you know, I'm still pretty angry, but he feels

so bad, and I know he wants to make it up to me, so now he's

making this grand gesture to fix his mistake.

>> Tripp: What about ICE? I mean, wouldn't they know the

marriage is fake? >> Haley: [sighs]

They'd be watching every move we make, but...Tripp, I don't have

any other options. I don't know what to do, so part

of me is actually thinking of saying yes.

[sighs] But what if we get busted and then...instead of

going back to China, I go to prison, and so does JJ?

>> Tripp: I wish there was something I could do.

>> Haley: That's so nice of you, but...I don't think there is.

being together, here, with you, focusing on you.

Letting you know that you are and always will be

my top priority. Now, with that said, on this day

that we are celebrating our anniversary, I want to make you

a promise. I promise you...the good times

are coming back. They're coming back.

We are gonna go to the movies. We're gonna go to the Cubs

games--we're gonna go on a vacation! We're gonna go

So now we're looking for more than one suspect.

And so marrying a U.S. citizen I know is the quickest way to

get a green card so I can stay in this country.
