The auction starts now.

Starting at forty-five million.

In the mid-1990s,

Xie Wendong came from Northeast China

to Jinting's Chinatown to join the real estate industry.

With the support of Uncle Liu from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce,

he gained development rights over a large amount of land.

This provoked the escalating conflict between him and Chen Baiqiang,

who was supported by foreign forces.

90 million for the first time.

90 million for the second time.

90 million for the third time.

Sold.

[Three years ago]

[Xie Wendong]

[Three-Eyed Man]

Back then, in that duel with you,

I didn't cripple you with that stab

because I was thinking of treating you

as my best brother someday.

If I were to fall to Chen Baicheng's gun today,

I would have nothing to say.

[Chen Baicheng]

But I didn't expect you

to join him.

The tide of Southeast Asia has changed.

I can't go against it.

All the foreigners now

support his rise to power.

Wendong,

don't blame me.

Xie Wendong,

Uncle Liu wants you to be the successor.

Where is he now?

Uncle Liu?

He might not be able to see you

and the other two successors ever again.

You've got to understand one thing, Xie Wendong.

You'll need to learn your lesson down there.

No one can stop Nanhong Group from growing.

And if my younger brother wants to be the successor,

he will be it.

All three of you who are supported by Uncle Liu must die.

The assassin sent by my brother

is already on their way to kill them.

All of you will disappear

from this world today.

Those foreigners won't let you off.

If Three-Eyed Man hadn't 'turned against' me,

who knows when you

would take action against me?

It's better to make you reveal your true colors

and take the initiative

than to make the move myself.

My brother won't let you guys off.

Then go down and tell him about it.

[Chen Baiqiang]

[Gao Qiang]

Wendong,

I will bear the anger

of the foreigners.

It's time for Fatty

to come over and take charge.

It's fine.

When I get out of jail,

we can get together again.

Thank you.

Later, I'll have men

place the golden knife by your side.

Some of our men are also in jail.

Be safe.

[Once Upon a Time in Asia]

[Based on the novel What Makes a Bad Guy 3 by Liudao]

Three years ago, you failed to kill me.

I crawled back from the dead

only to make your death more painful.

And if my younger brother wants to be the successor,

he will be it.

My brother won't let you guys off.

Then go down and tell him about it.

Baicheng,

I'll avenge you today by killing Xie Wendong.

I'll definitely become the boss of Jinting.

Chen Baiqiang was just Wendong's henchman.

What makes him think he can seize Wendong's territory?

This land isn't Wendong Group's yet.

Don't get too smug.

Chen Baiqiang's men have come to make trouble.

Chen Baiqiang,

what do you want by sending people to cause trouble

at our construction site?

It's Xie Wendong's fault. He took away all the land.

How are we supposed to get by?

Uncle Liu.

Let's talk things out.

Why do you have to make things so complicated?

You're making it difficult for me.

Uncle Liu,

his eye got hurt at our construction site

by Chen Baiqiang's men.

Shouldn't they

[Li Shuang] be responsible for this?

Ask Xie Wendong to come and talk to me.

You're not qualified.

What are you doing?

Everyone, calm down.

Don't be impulsive.

Sit down.

Li Shuang,

if you've got the guts,

try blinding one of his eyes too.

Alright?

Everyone, stop arguing.

Sit down.

I'm calling Xie Wendong right now.

When he arrives,

we can have a good talk.

Chen Baiqiang, you just wait.

How presumptuous!

[Boss of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce]

This isn't going anywhere.

Let's go.

Wait.

Uncle Liu,

it's their own business.

Let them resolve it on their own.

Don't get too involved.

Mom,

Chu Hong is dancing the tap dance.

Sorry, Wendong.

Uncle Liu has called several times.

Later, Mom.

Why can't I get through to your phone?

Li Shuang is too impulsive.

I need you to come over.

Let's have a good talk.

Uncle Liu,

this matter is not up for discussion.

Chen Baiqiang is clearly opposing me.

I won't give him that piece of land.

We can't talk this out.

I still have a say in this.

It's better to talk things through.

Come to the Banshan Club now.

Who carries so much clout

to call you away when you dine with your mother?

In Jinting, everyone has to show respect for Uncle Liu.

You guys should go watch the movie first.

Do it.

Xie Wendong must die this time.

Rest assured, Mr. Chen.

Chen Baiqiang is going to make a big move.

Bring Li Shuang along

and go to the theater.

It's Chen Baiqiang's men.

Beat him to death.

Qiang!

Chen Baiqiang has gone mad.

He killed the old chairman, and now he wants to kill you.

It's for what happened to his brother, Chen Baicheng.

Wendong,

Shuang sent me to pick you up.

Qiang,

quickly go to the cinema.

Fu, it's all yours here.

No problem, Wendong.

Help!

Help!

Someone, come quickly!

Help! Someone, come quickly!

Help!

Help!

Help!

Help! Somebody!

Help!

Help!

Mom!

Mom!

Wendong!

Wendong!

Chu Hong!

Check on Chu Hong quickly.

Last night at Chinatown's Tianhe Theater,

a gunfight occurred.

The girlfriend of the leader of Wendong Group was killed.

And the leader, Xie Wendong, is missing.

Wendong Group is currently without a leader.

The police in Jinting are investigating the cause of the incident.

[Eight months later] Chu Hong said we would be happy

[A town in Northeast China] as an ordinary family.

At that time, I only wanted to give my all

to give them the very best of everything.

My mother was scared into illness

and wanted to return to our hometown.

I felt that I've owed them

way too much over the years.

So I brought her back,

trying my best to make up for the guilt and regrets

in my heart.

Mom,

it's time to eat.

I want to go back home.

We have been back for over eight months now.

Look what I brought today.

It's Fried Pork in Scoop.

Dig in.

Here.

[A country in Southeast Asia] With Wendong missing,

that piece of land

ended up in Chen Baiqiang's hands.

Chen Baiqiang went too far this time.

For a piece of land,

he went all out against us.

We shouldn't have brought him to Jinting back then.

Come with me to Nanhong tonight.

Are you out of your mind?

What do you, a bunch of nobodies, think you can do?

Now that Wendong is missing,

we need to stabilize the business of Wendong Group even more.

Wendong might have disappeared because of his mother.

I've already sent our men in the group to look for him.

The square and the fountain

will soon be completed.

Mr. Chen! Mr. Chen!

Stop.

We have a few questions.

Can you give us a moment?

Hello, Mr. Chen.

As a successful Chinese entrepreneur,

do you have any views on the future construction

of Chinatown?

Now let's turn to a report from Jinting.

The Chinatown Project, invested in by Mr. Chen Baiqiang,

a real estate businessman

from Northeast China, has been under construction

for eight months.

Let's hear about Mr. Chen's plans.

My idea is very simple.

It is to give all overseas Chinese

a more comfortable life.

Okay. We have one last question.

Do you have anything to say

about the previous Wendong Group?

Harmony is the most valuable.

Okay, thank you.

Xie Wendong is missing, and no one knows if he's alive.

My elder brother's death has not yet been avenged.

You must try every means

to find him for me.

Go ahead.

Understood.

[A town in Northeast China]

Hurry up and put it inside.

Place it here.

A bit higher.

Slowly.

Dali.

Hasn't the lumber yard gone out of business yet?

Bing!

Here.

Have a cigarette.

Come on.

It'll make my throat hoarse.

Bing,

I'll have to pay you back after the New Year.

Don't just stand there.

Lend a hand.

I'm not talking to you guys.

I'm talking to the two of them.

How come

this man looks a bit familiar?

Bro,

what's your name?

Him?

He's Xie Fei.

You look

quite like Xie Wendong, that successful thug.

Bing, stop joking.

Everyone, be careful.

Think about it.

Sure.

Take care, Bing.

It's not easy for anyone.

Tell us when you'll pay the money.

Give us an explanation.

I know you are all anxious.

I'm anxious too.

What's the use of just being anxious?

Just wait a little longer.

What's with your attitude?

What about my attitude?

What are you doing?

Don't just talk.

Everyone, wait a bit longer.

Once the roads are clear and the lumber is out,

I will pay you

every penny I owe you.

Bro.

Have you seen Wang Dali?

He is deaf-mute.

[Jinxiu Tailor Shop]

Is anyone here?

How may I help you?

My jacket is torn.

Sew it for me, please.

Here.

Milk candy?

Why would a big guy like you

have milk candy in your pocket?

Sit for a while.

I have seen you at my brother's lumber mill.

You're not a local, right?

I'm from the South.

You're not a fugitive, are you?

Just kidding.

Appearances can be deceiving.

You, the silent type,

are the most terrifying.

Is there a sea near your home?

Yes, there is.

So do you

go to the seaside every day?

I really want to see the sea.

Listen.

Doesn't this sound resemble that of a steamer?

The moment I step on this sewing machine,

I feel surrounded by the sea.

What are you here for again?

Nothing.

I just came to see you.

A friend sent me some things.

I brought them for you.

Just say it if you need something.

I've been doing some business with your brother lately.

I don't need anything.

You can take all those away.

What are you looking at?

Not talking?

A deaf-mute?

Stop staring.

In this place,

you'd better not mess with those people.

[A country in Southeast Asia] We haven't found Wendong yet.

Let's see

how to secure the future projects.

Stephen arrived in Jinting yesterday.

I have sent someone to keep an eye on him.

Go talk to him tomorrow.

Although Wendong is not around,

I have met this foreigner before.

Let's strive

to win this project.

What's his name again? Ste-what?

Stephen.

Never mind.

We must secure this project.

Stephen,

now that Xie Wendong is not around,

it's better for you to leave this project to us.

Li Shuang and Gao Qiang are not reliable.

I have faith in you guys.

Then, pleasure doing business with you.

Mr. Chen.

Stephen lives on this floor.

Go downstairs quickly.

Over here.

Go!

Bro...

Go!

Are you okay?

Are you alright?

Come.

Oh, no.

Is your leg broken?

Redhead,

go check out the man who stared at you

in the tailor's shop last time.

Give him a good beating when you get the chance.

Okay.

Both of these medicines are to be taken three times a day

and two pills at a time, right?

Right.

The prescription is very clear.

Just take the medicine on time.

Xie Fei.

Did you come to see me?

Doctor.

The current situation

is that your mother has been greatly agitated.

The medicine prescribed now

can alleviate her excessive mental strain.

But then again,

all medicine has a measure of toxicity.

You also need to be prepared

for the side effects.

I'll introduce you to an experienced Chinese medicine practitioner

who can treat any illness.

Sister-in-law,

these are from Ba.

I'm not your sister-in-law.

Go away.

Wait.

Ba has gotten you a ticket.

He wants to invite you to watch the show together.

Doctor,

how is he?

He won't die.

The bullet has been taken out.

Your buddy is lucky.

The bullet nearly hit his heart.

You got a death wish?

Here.

Have a smoke.

See if the smoke

will come out of that bullet hole.

Wendong isn't dead.

He's in Northeast China now.

And Three-Eyed Man is about to get out of jail.

How long have you followed Xie Wendong?

Two years.

Two years?

To be honest,

I don't trust you.

After all, you've driven for Xie Wendong for two years.

Now you tell me

that he's in his hometown in Northeast China.

You don't have any evidence

that can prove whether it's true.

My brother died because of Xie Wendong.

I will definitely kill him.

But then again,

why did you

even come to me?

Is the sea vast where you're from?

Of course. It's the sea.

Then, have you ever seen a red sea?

My bestie has.

A red sea?

How could there be a red sea?

Get in the van.

Ba wants to see you.

Ba?

Can it wait until another day?

I've got other things to do.

Who do you think you are?

Move.

Didn't he say what it was about?

Dali,

how's the lumber mill business going recently?

Pretty good.

Ba, why did you want to see me?

What else could it be?

When will you pay back the money you owe me?

Didn't I already pay you, Ba?

You only paid the principal.

I still need the interest.

It's the same as taking a loan from the bank.

You didn't mention anything about interest in the first place.

Ba,

aren't you extorting me?

Is it funny?

Is your sister seeing someone lately?

What do you mean, Ba?

Nothing.

Bring your sister over to hang out when you have time.

There are quite a few young men here.

Okay. We will come together.

So, what now?

Are you planning to settle down here?

Aren't you going home?

Don't worry. I'll go back tomorrow.

Listen to me.

Some shady people

have been visiting your shop lately.

If it's not working out, just close it

and come work at my lumber mill.

What's wrong with my shop?

You're the one attracting shady people.

Tell me the truth.

Are you seeing someone recently?

Why do you even think that way?

Whether you're seeing someone or not,

stay away from those shady rogues.

None of your business.

That's really harsh, Zihan.

Just leave.

Redhead,

didn't I just pay you last Friday?

How come you're back for more so soon?

You ate last Friday.

So you won't eat today?

What are you talking about?

And you even want a wastewater treatment fee.

Listen.

I'll give you an analogy.

Well.

When you open doors for business,

the water in your pool is clean, right?

Then people come to bathe

and the water gets dirty.

It means you've made some money.

Since you've made money,

shouldn't you pay the wastewater treatment fee?

It's not a wastewater treatment fee.

It's just a protection fee.

So, no?

Listen up!

Get out of the pool.

Quick!

Everyone, get out!

Hurry up.

Move it.

Hey, the mute over there.

Don't move.

Are you dating Ba's girl?

Leave her alone.

This guy is tough.

Yesterday at the bathhouse,

he took down three.

How many?

Three.

He even took down Redhead.

I saw it.

Mom?

Mom?

I found you.

Mom?

Get him.

Stop.

Is she your future mother-in-law?

When did you get together with him?

Get out of the way.

I won't.

Unless you explain everything.

Back off.

Finally.

I was about to send you to be rescued.

Your mom took out a pack of candy from her pocket

and stuffed it into your mouth.

I found that the candy had expired.

So you have low blood sugar.

Ma'am,

eat some candy.

Wear them like this.

Be careful with everything.

Oh my.

It's cold.

It's really cold today.

Here, man.

Take it. Come on.

Eat it.

Bro,

I have an idea.

Once your injury heals,

I'll give you a chance

so that we can join hands

to make this lumber mill bigger

and better.

I'm satisfied with earning a little money,

which is enough to support myself and my mom.

Bro,

it will be a waste of your talent if you just make a little money.

You're talented.

You can't go wrong working with me.

Yes, it's true

that the mountain is covered in snow

and the timber can't be transported out.

But this is all temporary.

Everything will get better after spring comes.

Bro,

I've been through some rough times before.

Now I just want to keep my mom company

and live out the rest of my days well.

If you want to succeed in business,

we can discuss it thoroughly.

In this area,

what does it lack the least?

Wood.

It's all over here.

Within dozens of miles around here,

what business do people mainly do?

It's all related to timber.

So compared to these people,

what advantage do you have?

I...

I guess I don't really have any advantages.

So that's why

you need to change your approach

and capture your core competitiveness.

Policies will definitely limit logging in the future.

When doing business at home,

you need to keep up with policies.

Only then can you make money.

Have you considered the deep processing of products?

Like processing panel products

and making furniture?

Xie Fei.

Let's go watch the show tonight.

No, thank you.

Quick.

Here.

Hurry.

Xie Wendong is with his mom

in Northeast China, and he's working in a lumber mill now.

There's also a woman who's close to him.

Zhuoma, Nichao.

Go to Northeast China.

What do you think?

I bought this pair of glasses in the county.

They are on a tour.

Every year, at this time,

they will perform here.

Actually, I quite envy them.

They can go on tour everywhere.

I particularly want to go see the South.

What's there to envy?

All the places are the same.

No, they are not.

You don't understand.

Actually, I do have a dream.

My dream

is to open my own clothing store in the South.

Bravo!

[Jinxiu Tailor Shop]

Sister-in-law,

didn't you go to the show?

What are you guys doing?

Ba wants to invite you to dance at his disco.

Get lost.

Let's go.

Let go of me.

Let go.

Get in.

Get in.

[Disco Lego Dance Hall]

Let me out.

I will scream.

Screaming won't work.

This room is soundproof.

Your hand is injured.

Don't move.

My apologies.

My dance hall

has been open for five years

without a real lady owner.

Then I met you.

Every time I think of you,

I remember what you said

about the warm weather in the South,

and my heart just races.

Isn't that strange?

Disgusting.

Please have a smoke.

Please smoke.

Who are you looking for? There's no one inside.

Where is Xie Wendong?

I don't know him.

There's really no one inside.

What happened?

Earlier, two tough-looking people came,

asking for someone named Xie Wendong.

I said I didn't know him.

And then those two

knocked me out.

They are ruthless.

We're closed.

We don't open during the day.

Stop her.

The woman in the photo is her.

Are you blind?

How dare you mess with Ba's woman?

Calm down.

Please.

Let's talk this through.

Calm down.

Don't.

What do you want?

Just say it.

Where is Xie Wendong?

Xie Wendong?

I don't know this person.

Don't!

Don't hurt her.

Don't hurt her.

Don't hurt her.

Don't hurt her.

I don't know this person.

Don't hurt her.

Don't hurt her.

I'm kowtowing to you.

I'm kowtowing.

Don't hurt her.

I truly don't know.

If she still won't tell us

where Xie Wendong is,

kill her

in ten minutes.

Call them to take care of Xie Wendong's mother.

Okay.

Still not talking?

I'll kill you right now if you move.

Where is my mother?

Where is she?

Where is my mother?

I'll kill her.

Do whatever you like.

Where is my mother?

Come back with us to Jinting

to exchange for your mother.

[Disco Lego Dance Hall]

Mr. Chen,

[Nanhong Group] Nichao and Zhuoma seized Xie Wendong.

They're on their way back to Jinting.

Kill him now.

I don't want him to live for another moment.

Get off the car.

Go.

Tell them to put their guns down.

Xie Wendong is coming.

Get ready.

After you came to me last time,

I thought about it carefully.

Killing Xie Wendong isn't about avenging my brother.

If Xie Wendong doesn't die,

how can I become the big boss?

I was deceived by my thoughts of revenge in the past

and always used my brother as an excuse.

So I really want to know

why you came to me.

It's definitely not because of that woman.

It's exactly because of her.

K.

Wendong.

Why did you do this?

Do you really not know why?

It's all because you got Chu Hong killed.

Chu Hong shouldn't have met such an end.

I saw you two together,

and her eyes were full of you.

Watching you two together every day

was too cruel for me.

Every day for the past two years,

I've wanted to ask you.

Do you really love her?

Just kill me.

Living has no meaning anymore.

Wendong,

let me assemble all the brothers.

This is my own problem.

I'll deal with it myself.
