All language subtitles for Video_2-_Uploading_Vectors_For_The_First_Time

okay so let's go ahead and try uploading a vector file

for the first time I'm gonna show you

what errors you could potentially run into

and how to mitigate them and fix them

so let's go ahead and hit download here

let's hit download and if you see here on our settings

we have a few different settings

we have JPEC we have PDF we have PDF standard

we have PNG SVG

MP four GIF okay so

the only things that can actually work

for what we're doing here is JPEG

PNG and SVG all right um

this is obviously not a video

so we're not gonna upload videos

and I personally don't upload videos to Adobe

Stock or any other stock photography site

simply because the AI

concept for videos right now is just lacking um

me personally

I'm not gonna waste my time uploading some videos

that don't look as good I prefer

a very high quality type of product before I do it um

so you know

there are some people that upload AI videos right now

and they might make a little bit of money

but to be honest by the time the AI content or the AI

engines work better for video

all those old videos that people spend

tens of thousands of hours uploading

it's not gonna be worth it

you know a year or two from now

so it's just not there's no point for that but anyways

um let's go ahead

and select SVG

SVG is the only vector option we have here

so we're gonna select SVG

we have the option to make a transparent for this case

I'm not really gonna make it transparent

I'll just kind of use this as an example

and I'll download page 3 that says kudos

so hit download and I'll hit download here

and what it will do is it will provide me the SVG

now let's go ahead and test this

and try to take it to our Adobe Stock account

so I'll click on this download here

I'll drag and drop it

and you'll see here it's attempting to kind of upload

and we'll wait to see exactly what happens

in just a second so I'm not really gonna say anything

or just kind of wait for it to upload

and we'll go through the process

and I'll kind of explain what's going down

okay so as you can see what happened was

is this uploaded

and something a little bit different happened

compared to this one so if you see here

this is illustration or a photo

and this is actually the Dutch language

so let me changes back to English

but if you click here this is for a vector

so it says vector here and in the file type

this is actually pretty good

because now when the image is uploaded or accepted

right

you can see there are certain images that are vectors

so if I search for let's say an H like a letter H right

a lot of these different colors are going to be vectors

so or images were gonna be vectors

so here

we have a file type

where people can download this as a JPEG

or they can download as an AI slash AP

EPS file what is an EPS file

an EPS file is very similar to an SVG

they both serve the same purpose

they're both vectors

I wanna go ahead and show you something here

if I search for um conversion convert a we have a SVG

to EPS okay

I wanna show you kind of what happens

this is a website

I use for converting different SVGs into EPS

and we currently have an SVG file

like this is an SVG file if I take this

and I just drag it and drop it right here okay

and I hit convert

all right

and it will say processing and I'll download it okay

now we have an EPS file which is what is labeled here

okay so this is an EPS so if I take this right

and I kind of go to this place here

and I try to upload this let's go ahead and upload this

and just give it a second

I'll pause my screen

cause sometimes these take a little bit longer

you can see it has finally uploaded however

there is something a little bit different here

this image looks a little bit larger than this one

now

an EPS and an SVG are two different formats of vectors

and there are certain instances right

there are certain instances where

if you try to upload an EPS

it won't work and there are certain instances

when you try to upload an SVG

it won't work

and it depends on the image that's being created

however if this is a image right

that is is a essentially a vector

because that's what it is

it serves kind of the same purpose

so

what I want you to know is that I wouldn't

personally take an image obviously not personally

just just in general

I would not take a raster and when I say a raster

I don't mean like this I mean a raster like this

but obviously

this is relatively inappropriate for the course

let me go ahead and find a proper image here um

just give this a second

I'll search for like a man picture of a man

and this is clearly a raster right

I would not take this and convert this into an SVG

or an EPS that's something I would never do

the only time I would use an EPS or an SVG

is for this purpose okay

so the purpose that you're seeing here

it's only for this purpose

now obviously as an SVG or an SPS

the only thing it says is vector here

now once again this is in different language

but you get the point so vectors all right

and you can select the niche

and typically what happens is when you upload a vector

okay what happens is is for some reason

this is not always the case

but for some reason the category is a little jacked up

you you're gonna have to select

you know a little you know

the proper category

what I tend to find is that different platforms

and it's really not just Adobe Stock

but it's different platforms

that typically

the category selections and things like that are wacky

when you start to upload

s SVG or EPS files

so just keep that in mind okay

so let's go ahead and move on to the next concept
