so free pick has eventual is essentially a a setup very

very similar to vect easy setup on how you get paid

so if you remember how we talked about vect easy

how essentially

the money is split between the creator and the website

and then what they do is

the amount that's for the creators

they take that amount and then they start dividing it

uh equally amongst the number of downloads

and things like that vect easy is super uh

excuse me free pick is is super similar uh

the only

reason why I don't prefer to upload frequently to

to free pick

is because they are a little bit more strict

on their website I'm not telling you don't try it

go out there try it

have fun use it

um but they are a little bit more strict like I said

and you'll see like

when you upload

certain rejections and things like that

have a lot of requirements on

on the sizing and things like that

which you know is okay

completely fine what they wanna do with their site

but it is a little bit more strict

if I if I don't have images that fit in that category

I don't even bother

because it takes a little bit too much time

and one of the best sources

of income in this business is my time

the the time that I put in to do something

which is once again why I use the tools for me

my time cost more

than the money for the tools or anything like that um

so quality time things like that

those are all parts of the equation

but this essentially how you get paid

um on free pick

so it's 50% of that share goes to the creators

and what happens is with the creators

it's equally divided

depending on how many downloads that person has okay

so that's kind of how you could see it

here's like a little diagram

and people get paid obviously more if you have a video

if you have a photo

you get paid more than if you have an icon

so that's kind of the breakdown and you could see

like I said

a perfect kind of example of this image here um

and I'll actually put the image inside the course

uh

just so you can kind of get a glimpse of how it looks

and how you can get paid on free pick

and you have what's called like download units

so download units is how much a a a download is worth

so video has 6 download units or excuse me

it has 3 download units and

so in reference to download units like I said

the image kind of shows everything here

so this icon right

or icons were downloaded through contributor 1

so contributor 1 uploaded icons

and he got three downloads

he's still gonna be making less then the video guy

because the video guy only got two video downloads

but those videos are worth much

much more so

the videos are worth 40% of the whole

entire revenue share right

and three icons are worth 10%

now once again

it depends on how many downloads actually took place

right

so you could see here contributor 2 uploaded photos

right and vectors and PSDs okay

and Contributor 3 also did as well

but the difference is that Contributor 2

only got two downloads

contributor 3 got three downloads right

so Contributor 2 makes 20% and once again it's two

so you could say like for every one icon that's being

um put out there

you're getting a little bit more for every photo

or vector PSD

so you make more money doing that

and then of course videos are the most

but we're not on videos yet

because AI hasn't got to that point

where I could look at a video and say

you know fully

this is what I like this is what I'll go for

obviously you could try videos on your own time

things like that I personally don't use them

Leonardo has the ability to add motion to every image

but once again it's not something that I personally use
