when people message me about niches

for stock photography

I can only help but think that

it's important to have a

collection of as many images as possible

when you're dealing with tens of thousands of images

that are on your schedule

that you should be uploading over time

it's really not a big deal

to think about what niches you should

you know

kind of create in in the stock photography world

the reality is

there's a demand for almost everything created

as long as there's decent quality

look at the images on my screen here as I slip through

are these good quality images

they are

there's nobody who could sit here and say that

they aren't and these images are upscale everything's

you know done for them that make them look decent

so where is the distinction between a small niche

and a large niche and the specificity

well to be clear

and I kind of want to title this video to be clear

both niches matter small and large

niches that are small

matter just as much as niches that are large

the reality is there are hundreds of millions of stock

photos out there

and for you to find a niche that's untapped

is almost virtually impossible

at this point you know

I I

can't think of an itch

that nobody has uploaded images to

so to be specific what you wanna have is a

kind of approach that is a generalized

down to a focused approach

let's use this example okay

here I have a plate of mushrooms right

a photo of a plate of mushrooms with bacon okay

I can ask for a plate of mushrooms

you know as a photo with broccoli that would work

I can ask for a plate of mushrooms with meat

I can ask just simply a plate of mushrooms

a plate of mushrooms right

it could be considered a more generalized niche

compared to a plate of mushrooms with bacon right

and you could think of this from a download perspective

if somebody's going out there

looking for an image to download

and they want a picture of a plate of mushrooms

they might not necessarily be looking

for a plate of mushrooms with bacon

in fact

even though you might have a great tremendous photo

if that's one not what they're looking for

they're not gonna click and download your image

we can all agree on that however

there are people who might be looking

for a plate of mushrooms with bacon

and that might be a image

that somebody is actually looking for

so really what I like to do is go down the list

and I've talked about this ideology before

is going down the list of creating mental variations

of the image so let me kind of show you how that works

so if I just go over here

whether it's through Leonardo AI

or even through mid journey

it all works I copy the prompt right

I'll go ahead and set my quality restrictions

so dash dash Q and then one

and what I'll do is I'll remove the word bacon right

so just a plate of cooked mushrooms photograph

zoom out let's just also add here white background

something like this

you know you don't have to add white background

but I'm just simply using this as a example

for a teaching lesson then let's go over here

make sure the size is proper stylization

we can add 100

and make sure we're gonna set it to Turbo just for now

and let's hit enter

and then for the sake of this creation

let's also go in let's use this text

and then we're gonna go over here

and create a raw image as well

but without forgetting

let's not forget how to set the quality restriction

so let's add two dashes here

dash dash hold on dash dash Q and then space 1 okay

and once again this is using our raw with Turbo on

and let's go ahead enter

and you can see here this is the first creation

this is purely just mushrooms

whether they're cooked

or whether they look a little raw

to be honest but not bad of an image um

and then you have here the other version of the image

so if I like

let's just say the style of the raw better

I just feel like that it looks a little bit better

overall

it's what I'll go with so now that I know my style

now it's literally going down the list

just like I said so what do I do

I set up my quality restriction

so two dashes with a Q and then a space one

and then I start adding to the list

so this one is about a plate of mushrooms photograph

right I can say a plate of mushrooms with

and I can add broccoli right

right just like that

and then the next one

I can copy this copy my raw setting dash dash okay

Q and then space 1 and then change instead of broccoli

I can add carrots

right and then I could do the exact same thing raw

my two dashes

right just like this and then Q and then space 1

and then instead of carrots

I can remove this and add chicken

let's say right so why am I doing this

it's if I found the system that works

and this is kind of something that plagues people

is that they they kind of are frozen in time

not knowing what to create

and with like I said the concept of stock photography

would be unwise to say oh

you have to create X

y or Z you don't have to do anything

you don't want to of course

but what you really need to do is

you need quantity in this game

and obviously quantity with quality

but to say that oh I shouldn't create pictures of this

or pictures of that is really a wrong ideology

you have to create as many photos as possible

and however you get to 50,000 uploads 30,000

100,000 you know

if you're doing quality like on this level okay

and the images clearly look decent

and you're upscaling and everything looks professional

you really can't lose in this business

the whole point of this business is

to be able to create an income

or a passive income

that you could eventually walk away from

and if I create

let's just say 100,000 images on this caliber

I'll have a very significant form of passive income

that I really never have to approach or work on or fix

and it will be like I said

very significant level of income so I mean

we have students who uh you know who have uploaded 10

12 14

15,000 uploads

and they have anywhere from 400 to 600 dollars a month

without actually adding anything to their profiles

you know if you extrapolate that out

if you're if you're doing

let's just say

100,000 uploads total and you do that for two years

and that's 200,000 uploads

you can walk away for with 8 to 10,000

12,000 that you're making a month passive

it is possible it's not even an exaggeration

because think about the workload that that would take

right 200000+ images that are on this calibre

and this quality not only will people download it

but they'll be happy to download something like this

and it will make you money

so don't worry about niche too much

and I just kind of showed you how going down the list

creating different ideas like this can absolutely work

and once again people get too hung up on the concept

you can do this for anything

like if I was to draw

or if I was to ask for a picture of

let's just say a camel in a in a desert right

I can switch up the location

I could switch up the animals

I could ask for a tiger in a forest

I can ask for a lion in a jungle

I can ask for a raccoon in a trash can right

I can go down the list and change different things

so this going down the list mentality is simple

it's really not that difficult

it's not groundbreaking ideologies

but it's something that can keep you mentally going

and it gives you a mental strategy to know okay

here's what I do when I am feeling stuck

or I have this this creators block

I guess you could say right

and that's kind of how you use that

and you have to learn

in order to achieve maximum success in this business

how to manipulate your mind

you really have to learn how to control your mind

and move past the roadblocks

and when you tell yourself oh

I don't know what to do or I don't know what to create

that is nothing more than a mental roadblock

there's somebody in Turkmenistan

who's creating more than you

there's someone in ulambatar

who's creating more than you

there's someone in Cairo Egypt

who's creating more images than you are

and trust me they don't suffer from mental blocks

they don't suffer from any of these things

because they don't allow themselves to

they don't give themselves that ideology

and it's not a matter of resources

it's not a matter of money

it's just a matter of effectiveness

so go out there be effective

come up with all kinds of crazy ideas

go down the list and create them all right
