(heavy breathing)

(dramatic music)

- No.

(dramatic music)

(scream)

Is she staring at me?

- Who?

- Her.

- Stop looking at her and she'll stop looking at you.

- How do you know that?

I mean, how do you know there's not

someone in there just copying everything we do

until one day

bam.

They break through and strangle you

with your own dental floss.

- You really think someone's following you, don't you?

- It's just a feeling.

I know it's weird, but ever since the concert I just

can't shake it.

- [Woman] Baby, have you seen my cell phone?

- [Man] No, where'd you leave it?

(wind blowing)

What?

- Did you leave the closet door open?

- No, but I mean I can just.

- Don't.

- What?

- Just don't.

Aaron.

- There's nothing there!

(sighs)

Megan, what's wrong?

- [Megan] Nothing.

(sighs)

You must think I'm a life drama.

- Yes I do.

That's why I love you.

(knocking at door)

Perfect timing.

Hey, what's up Dave?

- Hey. - [Aaron] Wow.

Come on in.

- [David] Hey Megan. - Hey David.

So Aaron, check this out.

I'm gonna give this to her after the show.

- [Aaron] Dude, let me give you some advice on women.

Don't ever give them anything

unless you're getting something.

- [David] Really?

- I wouldn't exactly put it that way,

but I mean, kinda.

If she likes it it means she's kind of a golddigger.

But if she doesn't like it she might be

a little weirded out.

- Really weirded out.

- Shit.

What am I gonna do with this now?

- Don't worry about it dude, just keep it.

- [David] Wait until you guys see this girl.

- Yeah?

- Do I look okay?

- Nooo. (laughing)

- Well, I mean, this is Old Navy.

- Um. - [Megan] Let me fix you,

okay?

- Don't look at me, I just live here.

What happened to me?

- Do you think I'm a complete dork?

- No, I think you're a really sweet guy

and that any girl would be lucky to have you.

- You're just saying that so I'll feel more confident.

- Look at me David.

You got this date, right?

I mean, that's something.

You had to do something to impress her.

- [David] I doubt that.

(gasps)

Are you okay?

- Yeah.

Just one of my paranoid schizophrenic moments.

- [Aaron] Hey, you can borrow this.

It's like your shirt, but cool.

- [David] Sure, thanks.

(slow music)

Shit, we're gonna be late dude.

- Relax, we'll just park in the garage again.

- [David] All right, but I'm paying this time.

It's busy tonight.

Anyone else kind of creeped out by parking garages?

- Nope.

But she's freaked out by mirrors.

- I am not.

- Yes she is, she freaked out earlier

when she was doing my hair.

- That was different, there was something.

- [David] Come on, what did you see?

- Your face.

- Oh.

- Dude, I was kidding.

(laughing)

You little shit.

- Got you.

♫ Look out

♫ Everything goes so well

♫ I bet

♫ They couldn't even tell

♫ You were here

♫ One down

♫ So many to go

♫ I'm breaking down

♫ So how could I do so well

♫ Thank you dear ♫

- Shit, do you mind?

- Sorry. (laughs)

(rock music)

- Hi there.

- Hi.

- Uh, David, we met the other day.

- [Woman] Hey David, nice to meet you.

- [David] Hi. - Again.

- [David] Yeah, you sounded great

and you look great.

- Thanks so much.

- Hey baby. - Hey.

(kiss)

- [David] Dude, she asked me to come see her show.

- [Aaron] That's not asking somebody out.

That's promoting.

- [David] I feel enough like an idiot as it is,

I don't need you rubbing it in my face.

Okay, I'm sorry that I brought you guys along.

- You'll, you know, find the right girl at the right time.

- [David] Really?

How the hell do you know Megan?

Do you know what it's like?

Do you have a crystal ball you can see

the rest of my life

and when I'm gonna meet the girl of my dreams?

Because if so, I'd like to know.

- The problem is you're out of your league.

You need to go for a girl who's a little more

you know, average.

- Wow, thanks Aaron.

That makes me feel really good.

- Hey, it worked for me.

- Ass!

- No no, I wasn't talking about you.

I was talking about my other girlfriend.

- You, uh, I'll get you.

Idiot.

I know what's wrong.

- [David] Really, what?

- You're not gonna like it.

- I'm grasping at straws at this point

so anything would help.

- You purposely pick someone that you have

like zero chance with.

- Why would I do that?

- [Megan] I don't know, to say, "Hey, at least I tried.",

and then continue to convince yourself

that you're a complete failure.

I mean, you have the mind of a rocket scientist, David,

and you're a goddamn substitute teacher,

what does that say?

- [Aaron] Whoa, hey hey hey.

We're having a good time tonight.

Remember?

Come on.

Come on.

- We should just take the stairs.

- [Aaron] Hold your horses.

I'll see you guys on the other side.

- [Aaron] You're just gonna have to wait

when you get there.

I have the keys!

Dumbass.

- He's just excited.

- Screw this.

- Really Aaron?

Hey, wait up.

- [Aaron] Yo dude, wait up.

- [Megan] Aaron!

(screams)

Ohhh.

- [Aaron] Megan?

Megan! (cries)

What happened? (laughs)

- I fell and I twisted my stupid ankle.

- Oh my God. (laughs)

Are you okay?

- [Megan] I'm fine.

- [David] Can you walk?

- Not without it hurting like a bitch.

- We really should have taken the elevator.

- Oh, look at you.

- What's so funny?

- You, you're acting like such a girl.

- Come on, you're hurt.

- Yeah, real hurt.

- [David] Did you take anything at the club

we should know about?

(laughs) - [Megan] No.

- [David] Come on, what did you take?

- [Aaron] And why didn't you share with us?

- [Megan] I didn't take anything.

- [Aaron] So you're just high on life?

- Didn't you park your car there?

- I thought so.

Oh shit.

- Maybe we're just on the wrong level.

- No, I parked on B4 right next to the

staircase and the elevator.

- [David] Yeah he did, he parked right there,

I remember.

- [Aaron] God damn it.

I don't get any service down here.

- Calm down, no one's dying.

- There aren't any other cars down here either.

- What was that supposed to mean?

- Just making an observation.

- Well what do you think, a gang of car thieves

came down here and stole every car on the floor?

- No just. - It just.

- Just maybe we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

- I park my car, I leave,

I come back to the exact same place that I left it

and it's gone.

Hmmm, what conclusions could I jump to?

- How about instead of standing around

and bitching you go and call the cops?

- Hmmm, all right.

(whip sound)

You know what David, why don't you go?

It's fun, you can walk up the stairs.

- All right.

- Say hello to your girlfriend up there.

- [David] Fuck you.

- [Megan] Don't be an ass.

- [Aaron] Easy.

- Thanks.

What would I do without ya'?

- I think you'd get along just fine.

(sighs)

- What's wrong?

Besides the obvious.

(laughs)

- Nothin'.

- What?

- You know why you were laughing like a loon

while we were carrying you down the staircase.

- Because it was funny.

I mean, the whole night been like hysterical.

- No, you hated it.

You hated that you had to rely on us for support.

- Where is this coming from?

- It's just that I try really hard to take care

of you Megan.

And I feel like you don't need it.

You're little miss independent.

You don't need me.

You just kind of keep me around for kicks.

- I don't think that people should be together

because they need each other.

It's so needy.

- Then why do people get together at all?

- Because it makes what's good in their lives better.

- So I'm just here to give your life a little extra flavor?

You'd be just fine without me.

- What's wrong with that?

(sighs)

- Because I can't say the same thing about you, Megan.

(footsteps)

- [Aaron] That was fast.

- [David] How'd you get up here?

- What?

- [David] This should be the street level.

Did you take the elevator?

- We didn't go anywhere.

We've been here the entire time.

- [David] But I left you on Level B4.

- Right, which is where we're at.

- [David] Yeah, uh.

- [Aaron] Did you call the police?

- [David] Did I?

- What the F David?

- I didn't go down the stairs.

- You weren't supposed to.

- Right.

- You were supposed to go up the stairs.

- Well, I went up the stairs and.

- [Megan] What?

- I found you.

- Dude, my car just got stolen,

I'm not in the mood for this shit.

- [David] Yeah, well this is supposed to be

the street level.

And it isn't.

- What is it then?

- This is where I left you.

- Do you have any idea what he's talking about?

- I didn't go down the stairs Aaron,

I went up the stairs to the street level,

opened the door and found you guys.

- Okay, stop.

Just stop.

- I'll freakin' show you!

- Dude, I'm not playing this game.

(sighs)

Are you gonna go call?

- [David] Be my guest.

- Fine.

Are you gonna be okay?

Stupid question.

Let me show you how to walk up a staircase.

(footsteps)

What are you doing?

- [David] I'm showing you, man.

- What about Megan?

- [David] She can take care of herself.

(beep)

- No.

- See.

- No no.

That wasn't possible.

- What?

- It's just like I said.

- No, what happened just now, it

it didn't happen.

- Okay Aaron, it didn't happen.

- It didn't!

(scream)

- [Woman] Someone help me!

David, wait!

(scream)

- [Woman] Somebody help me!

Help! - Hey!

(slap)

- [Woman] No, please.

Help!

Someone help me!

(fighting)

- [Aaron] Let go of me!

- I killed you already.

I keep killing you but you keep coming back.

Don't

come

back.

It's forever down here.

(kick) - I'm sorry!

(punch)

- Aaron!

(punching)

(punching)

(punch)

(fighting)

- [Megan] It's okay, it's okay, it's okay.

Calm down, calm down.

What happened?

Hey, blondie.

What happened?

- [Woman] I don't know.

We got in the elevator and then we got out

he started saying these crazy things

and then he attacked me.

- Has he ever done this before?

- No, I just met him tonight.

He said his car was down here

but there were no cars down here.

- Our care is gone too.

- What?

- Are you all right?

- He's not going anywhere.

- What's your name?

- Cheryl.

- [David] Cheryl, listen to me.

There's something weird going on.

The levels keep repeating themselves.

Come on, I'll show you.

- That's what he said.

- But it's true.

- [Aaron] It is true.

- You guys are as crazy as he is.

- [David] Cheryl, wait!

(screams)

- [Aaron] Ah!

- No!

Aaron!

Aaron.

- It wasn't supposed to happen.

- Are you okay?

No no, you're gonna be okay.

- That wasn't supposed to happen.

- Why did you do that?

- It wasn't supposed to happen like that,

but now he can't get me to help him because it's all.

- [Megan] You're gonna be okay.

You're gonna be okay.

- It's all messed up because when I did it.

- What are you doing?

Ah!

- [Megan] You're gonna be okay.

Help me.

David!!

Help me!

- [David] What can I do?

- Put pressure on the wound.

I'm gonna get you help and you're gonna be okay.

Someone help us!

Help, someone help us!!

Help.

Help.

David, get someone to help us!

(crying)

Oh no.

Why why why did you have that knife?

- I don't know.

- How did he know that you had that knife David?

- I don't know!

- I just want it to be.

Don't touch me!

I hope you rot in hell.

- I am.

And you're down here with me.

(heavy breathing)

(sobbing)

Is there something you want?

- What do you want, David?

- What do you think I want?

- [Cheryl] This is exactly what you want.

- [David] What are you talking about?

- This is your punishment.

- Punishment for what?

- [Cheryl] I don't know.

Do you?

There is a way out.

But first you have to want to leave.

(sobbing)

(beep)

- [Man] I'm serious guys, this girl was

totally into me.

- [Man] Yeah yeah, you're a pimp and we

didn't even know it.

- [Man] Well anyway, so in a couple of days

she invited me to come.

(muffled speech)

- [Man] All right.

- [Woman] It's good to see you coming out of your

shell like that David.

- Coming out of the closet.

The chick's probably a dude.

- [David] No!

(laughs) This chick is really hot, man.

Wait 'til you meet her.

- Hey, crazytown, you coming?

- Yeah.

- Hey, hey I need your phone.

I need your phone to call 911.

Why?

Hey, help me.

My boyfriends in the, what?

Hey, why can't anyone hear me, help!

Help!

Help!

(knocking at door)

- [Woman] You really know how to put

a girl in the mood.

- I'm already in the mood.

- Well you're killing it.

- [Aaron] Come on, we both know where this is going.

- Okay.

- [Aaron] What's wrong baby?

- [Megan] I don't know I just got this

weird feeling like someone was watching us.

- Let's give them something to watch.

(heavy breathing)

(sniffs)

- [Aaron] Another day of hell.

- [Megan] You won't be there forever.

- [Aaron] Sometimes I already feel like

I've been there forever.

- [Mega] Well, at least you know what

you want to do with your life.

- [Aaron] At least you don't have to watch

all your hopes and dreams slip through your fingers.

- [Megan] Oh, and you think that's worse than

not knowing what you're on the planet at all?

Whether then to like, you know, fill up space?

- [Aaron] Well the only thing woman is good for

is making dinner and making babies.

- [Megan] Oh well, if that's the case then I'll

just stop taking the pill.

- Oh I guess I'll just have to stop having

sex with you then.

- [Megan] Oh sure, that'll be the day.

You know, I don't even cook for you.

You're like even a better cook than I am.

- Yeah, you kind of suck.

- We all have out talents.

- [Aaron] You know, speaking of which,

you could always become a porn star.

- [Megan] Okay, so like you wouldn't mind

if I had sex with a whole bunch of guys all day?

- Are you kidding?

I'd show your movies to all my buddies and I'd be like,

"You see that?

"That's what I'm getting."

- [Megan] Only I'd be so tired from like

screwing all day that I don't think I'd have

enough energy for you, hon.

(kiss)

- [Aaron] Bye.

- Is anyone there?

(inhales)

Baby, have you seen my cell phone?

- [Aaron] No, where'd you leave it?

(thud)

What?

- Did you leave the closet door open?

You had to do something to impress her.

- [David] I doubt that.

(gasps)

We're gonna be late dude.

- Tell him to not park in the garage.

- Relax, we'll just park in the garage again.

- All right, but I'm paying this time.

(music)

- [Aaron] I have the keys!

Dumbass.

Screw this.

- Really Aaron?

(beep)

I know you're in here.

And you're not welcome, so whoever you are

you can leave me alone.

(footsteps)

Hey guys.

- Hey, you beat me!

- Mm-hmm.

(beeping)

So that was nice.

- [Megan] Don't be an ass.

(car starts)

(heavy breathing)

(footsteps)

(heavy breathing)

No.

(heavy breathing)

Oh.

Oh my.

Oh my God, Aaron.

- Megan.

I'm so sorry.

Shhhhhh.

Don't fight it baby.

This is the only way.

(mumbling)

(gasping)

(coughing)

I can't, I can't.

- Why?

- It's the only way for us.

It's the only way out.

You know that.

- Aaron, it's okay.

We can survive.

- All we do is survive.

We just keep on surviving.

And surviving.

- What, what happened when I was gone?

You've always been here Megan.

- What do you mean?

- You've been here forever.

Same as the rest of us.

You don't know.

You're from an earlier time.

But you will.

I've seen it.

- You're not making any sense.

- It has to be this way.

- No, no no it doesn't.

Aaron.

I love you.

- I can't do it.

- [Man] I can.

You don't have to watch.

- Make it quick.

- Aaron.

- It won't hurt if you don't fight.

- You're insane.

- [Man] No, you're deluded.

(beep)

Don't fight.

Ah!

Ah!

(groaning)

Ah!

Ah!

(beep)

(heavy breathing)

- Okay.

You stay away from me.

- No, what happened to you?

- Oh my God.

- What's going on?

- Megan, are you all right?

- I've missed you guys.

- We've only been gone a couple of minutes.

What did you do to your head?

(scream)

- [Woman] Please help me!

- David, wait!

I'll be just a second.

(scream)

- Oh my God.

- [Woman] No, please.

- Aaron!

- [Man] Ah!

(punch)

(punch) - [Man] Ah!

(kicks)

(fighting)

- Not this time.

(hit) - [Man] Ah!

- Oh, whoa dude.

You let that guy out.

- [David] Are you okay?

- I was just doing what you told me.

- I don't even know you dude.

- But you will.

You're gonna know me real well.

We all know there's only one way out.

'Cause it's forever down here.

- [Cheryl] Trust me to pick a psycho.

- It's okay, you're safe now Cheryl.

- I didn't tell you my name.

- [David] I heard him call you it.

Look Cheryl, there's something very strange

going on, okay?

The levels, they keep repeating themselves.

- Jesus Christ, what are we gonna do?

- We're gonna get out of this trap that we're in.

- What trap are we in?

- I don't know, but he does.

- What's she talking about David?

- I don't know.

- You changed what happened the first time.

You don't have the knife so that he won't kill Aaron.

- Kill me?

Who has a knife?

- You guys are so crazy.

- Will someone please tell me

what the hell is going on?

- Show us your arm.

- Why?

- Because he cut you.

- [David] Cut me?

How could he have cut me?

Hey, let me go.

Aaron, get your girlfriend off of me.

Hey, come on, let me go!

- Looks like that's been there for awhile.

- I've had that scar my entire life.

- [Aaron] I've known you my entire life

and I've never seen that before.

- Well then you just haven't noticed it then.

- [Aaron] Bullshit, where did you get that?

- He got it right here in the garage.

- But we just got here.

- No, you just got here.

I've been here for a little while,

and David's been here for quite some time,

haven't you?

(exhales)

- All right.

Aaron, let me go.

Look, all I've got is a best guess.

- Let's have it.

- Any of you familiar with M theory?

How about string theory, does that ring a bell?

First of all, I have been here a lot longer

than the rest of you.

- Been where?

- The garage.

- [Aaron] But we came in together.

- Yes, but I came from the future

into this particular point in time.

- I don't get you.

All right, all right.

M theory suggests that what we perceive

of the universe is actually a part of a multiverse.

And this garage is a kind of a bubble.

In the multiverse.

But it is also a universe in and of itself.

- Wait, so you're saying that this garage

is the entire universe?

- No, no it is a universe.

- Wait a minute.

I left the garage.

I went back in time two days ago

to when we first got here.

- These bubble uinverses lack mass.

Therefore quantum physics suggests

they would be unstable.

They would be full of rips and tears called wormholes

that would lead to other universes in other times.

- Like in Star Trek.

See, I got this.

- [Megan] Yeah.

But when I went back in time

I couldn't interact with anyone.

Why is that?

- [David] You were already there.

And the same matter can't exist in the same place

at the same time.

So you became like a ghost, there, but not there.

- Yeah but how did we get into this like universe

bubble thing?

- There is a suggestion

that whenever there is a possibility

of different outcomes of a probability occurring

then all probabilities will occur.

- He means that whatever can happen

will happen.

- [David] Yes.

And what I think happened is that some kind

of probability event occurred, maybe

someone just made a choice.

Something really simple.

- Like choosing to take the elevator

instead of the stairs.

- Exactly.

- I saw it.

I saw when I went back in time I saw myself

get into the elevator.

That had to have been when the split occurred.

- [Aaron] Why would making a choice to take

the stairs lead us to

this place?

- Here's what I think.

You have one universe

and then you have a probability event

which causes that universe to split into two.

And sometimes you have a little bubble left over

in between.

- And that's where we are?

- Yes.

- I'm getting a headache.

- But we're only conscious in this universe?

- No no, we're conscious in those universes too.

It's just that our perspective is limited to here.

- [Megan] Yes, then we need to get our perspective

into the main universe.

- I don't think that can be done.

- Why not? - Well because

this bubble universe is always going to exist.

And we'll always be here

and as long as we're here

there has to be a perspective.

- How long have we been here?

- It could have been years,

it could have been months.

I'm pretty sure it's not less than that.

- What happens to us down here?

- You don't want to know.

- Yes I do.

- Well at first, the guys and girls all start

screwing each other.

Well, except for me.

I seem to get left out of that.

- So Megan has sex with that psycho?

- He's not always a psycho.

But he's definitely the one of us who's least

capable of coping.

- And why would she do that?

- Because we're freakin' bored out of our minds.

- Do you sleep with her too?

- Well, not as much as you and Paul do.

- What, are you jealous, or something?

- Yeah I'm jealous.

You and that douchebag get to have

what little fun there is to have down here.

And every once in awhile you feel guilty

so you throw me one of the girls out of pity.

- We're just your little play things?

- No.

This is insane!

I'd never let Megan do that.

- It was your idea.

Okay?

Paul was gonna crack.

And we knew sooner or later because we'd all

seen the future, that he was gonna try and kill us.

So you thought it would be good

if Megan would.

But we knew that it was just because

you wanted to get into her pants.

- What?

- Oh let's not all get pissy about something

that we haven't even done.

- You will.

- So what happens next?

- At first, Megan was our leader.

But then we get sick of her telling us what to do.

So, you beat the shit out of her.

(slapping)

(punching)

- I'd never. - And then

you take over.

And you start rationing out the girls.

And if they resisted, they were beaten.

(slap)

And if I complained

you had him beat the shit out of me too.

(kicking)

- You know me.

I'm not that type of person.

- Do you really know what you'd be like

if you were stuck down here for years?

You know, to give you some credit,

you always act guilty,

but over time you become more and more depressed.

Just as Paul becomes more and more insane.

And then you decide that it would be best

to have him kill us all.

By that time Paul thinks you're the Messiah reborn

and he'll do whatever the hell you want.

I've seen him go after Megan and Cheryl.

Many times.

(smash)

And then he turns to me.

Of course, death is no escape either.

Because we're still alive in other universes.

So this cycle just goes on and on and on.

It's like Paul says,

it's forever down here.

- Where's Megan?

(footsteps)

- I remembered it.

- Remember what?

- All of it.

Everything he said.

I had to make myself forget because I couldn't

handle it.

I've been here for so long. (sobs)

- Megan, look at me.

- Were you hurting me?

- No.

I haven't.

- You will.

- Megan, I don't understand everything

that's going on.

But if there's anyone that can get us out of here

it's you.

- I've tried. (sobs)

I've tried so many times. (cries)

I can't. (cries)

- I don't know how I'll be in the future.

I guess you know better than I do.

But I'm with you now.

- You hurt me.

That's why I made myself forget.

- I haven't hurt you.

(kissing)

(sniffling)

Now find us a way out of here.

- So let me get this straight.

You're saying

that we.

- Well.

You have a little mole down there.

And your pubic hair would cover it

if you hadn't shaved it all off.

- I'm not gonna listen to this.

Do you want to leave David?

- What is this?

- You don't remember me?

- Remember you?

- It was a long time ago.

When you first arrived.

- You.

- Do you want to leave?

- Of course I want to leave.

But it's impossible.

- Just like everything else you've wanted

to do in your life.

- What do you want?

- There are other yous out there.

Not all of them are trapped in here.

- Yeah, well I'm not them.

- You have to make a choice.

(scoffs) - Has any of what I said

sunk into that dim watt brain of yours?

There's no such thing as choices.

All possibilities occur simultaneously.

Whatever choice I'm supposed to make

I've already made it in another universe.

- That's where you're wrong.

You have one choice.

Which universe do you want to live in?

- We're getting out of here

and we are getting out of here right now.

- And how do you expect to do that?

- We're gonna go through one of those wormholes.

- Okay, so I give you a childs explanation of M theory

and all of a sudden you're Stephen Hawking?

- No, that's why I need you.

- Okay, so what's your plan?

- Okay, here's my idea.

If we reenact everything we did

from the moment that we got into the garage

until the moment that we fell into the bubble

then maybe we can put our perspective

into the regular universe.

- That's not gonna work.

- Why not? - [David] Because we've

tried it already.

- Well then let's try it again.

- You said that last time Megan.

- You know I don't like this version of you very much.

- You've never really liked me.

And you talk to me like I'm a child.

- That's not true David.

- It is true.

And maybe if you start telling the truth

I'll consider going with you on your little adventure.

- Okay.

You want the truth?

I'm indifferent to you.

You're only around because you're Aaron's friend.

Is that what you want to hear?

- Well I got nothing better to do.

- [Cheryl] Well, what about me?

- [Megan] You can come too.

- No she can't.

She didn't come through the bubble

with us in the first place.

If she goes now she could screw up everything.

- Well you don't think it's gonna work anyway.

Right?

- Fair enough.

- Okay, let's go.

- [Aaron] Are you sure this is gonna work?

- [Megan] Yeah, it will.

- [Aaron] How do you know?

- Because I won't accept the alternative.

(footsteps)

Okay, first we push the elevator button.

- [Aaron] Now what.

- David didn't want to wait.

He took the stairs.

Move your ass David.

- [David] All right.

See you guys on the other side.

- [Megan] Then you followed him.

Hey.

(beep)

- [Cheryl] Okay, what now?

- Follow me.

- Ah!

- [Aaron] Ahhh!

- Aaron!

- [Aaron] Ahhh!

- Go, that's what I'm supposed to do.

- Ah!

- [Megan] Come on, let's go Aaron.

Now!

David!!

(screams)

(stabbing)

(grunting)

(slow music)

- You're hurt.

- Yeah, real hurt.

(heavy breathing)

- Uh.

- [Aaron] So you're just high on life, aren't you?

(laughing)

Are you all right.

- Yeah, I just had some weird deja vu.

Hmmm.

- [David] You know what that is, don't you?

(beeping)

- [Aaron] Nope, but I suppose you're gonna tell us.

- [David] Yep.

They think it's when something just bypasses

your short-term memory

and goes right into your long-term memory.

It's like you think you remember from a long time ago

but it's just an illusion.

- [Megan] How do they know?

- I don't know.

It's just a guess.

- What?

(slow music)

- You're awfully quiet back there.

- I was just thinking how big the world is.

- [David] Well the world's just a little speck

in the galaxy.

And the galaxy is just a little speck in the universe.

So we're all pretty insignificant

when you think about it that way.

- But I don't see insignificance.

- [Aaron] What do you see?

- Possibilities.
