Because then Vanda looks like she could be a traitor,

and that was very close tonight,

and I don't think people can expect that.

- The faithful do not know what they're in for.

- I woke up this morning elated, excited. I'm ready for a new day.

- I think people like Sam cos he's so under the radar.

My strategy today is to keep the distractions going.

Maintain the Colin that they've always seen.

- Also, did you notice, like, Brooke last night? - Yeah, he's shady.

- He was leading the Dan take out and then he switched.

Initially, Brooke was talking about,

'Hey, we need to cut off the head of the snake here.'

But he shifted his vote to Vanda.

And then afterwards he was like, 'Oh, I think we made a mistake.'

- I mean, honestly, I'm the one challenging him the entire time. - Yeah. Yeah.

- Oh! - Yay!

- I am so surprised that I haven't been murdered.

Oh, my gosh. This morning was so, like...

I very much have been talkative and poke my head up

and taken a few traitors out.

I very much feel like I would be in the firing line.

Who else? Who's being blackmailed?

Because, honestly, I thought like, we would have all been great people, but I haven't been blackmailed.

- I, like, earlier in the game I was like, 'Oh, it'll be quite cool,'

like, now strategically turning into a traitor, right?

But then it would be such a hard ruse to hold on.

- You'd be dangled. - Dangled to be killed. - 100%

From the process of deduction, I know I didn't get blackmailed last night.

So that leaves Julia, Colin,

Justine, Vanda, Sam, Kings and Brooke.

- Eh! Hard out.

- It confused me. It'd be very convenient, because Dan and Brooke

were tight. - Mm.

- Ah! - Oh, thank goodness.

I'm stoked that we've voted out Dan, sad to lose Dan as a person,

but great to get another traitor out of the game.

- I think we're the faithful. - Yeah, absolutely.

- Colin and Julia and Anna are there, which is good

because I think those are maybe my three most trusted people.

Maybe... Bit sketchy on Colin.

- This is probably the first time I've walked into breakfast and it felt kind of sad.

We're at day eight. I'm not sure if anybody trusts anybody at this point.

- Hey, guys, any thoughts from...

- It's just that really disconcerting feeling

knowing that down to the lower numbers we've got,

there's going to be two traitors. - Yeah.

- Yesterday's round table was really hard.

I was surprised that it came so close.

Dan had consistently been seeding my name over the last few days,

and then he did the big show around the round table last night,

and then I was thinking, 'OK, so who else has been one of the first people to say my name?'

And it was Justine. - Yeah.

- I feel today I'm still fresh on everyone's radar.

- I honestly thought I was gone this morning.

I was rehearsing goodbye speech and everything, so I didn't...

This morning, I have a plan.

I want to try something new and I kind of want to get things going from breakfast.

Actually, last night I was thinking, like,

I was gonna call Brooke out.

And just— Hear me out on this.

Like, as a disloyal faithful, more so than a traitor.

Like he's not a very good faithful.

At this point in the game...

- Why didn't Brooke go for Dan last night?

He said he was going to go for Dan, and then he switched.

- I also saw that they were like talking a lot in the barrel challenge.

There's a lot of reasons why I think Brooke.

- It's a ballsy move to make so early in the day.

We haven't even found out who's been murdered yet,

and he's already laying his cards on it being Brooke.

- ...and I was just going to throw my hat out there

and just like start it from this morning, be like,

'Brooke, I'm going for you today. Be ready.'

- This is a wild game.

- I'm just going to allow Brooke...

to dig his own hole.

- This is strange; it's so little of us.

I was really sad that Justine went.

And that feels a bit stink in my heart.

- So we've got to look for someone that's trusting.

Because Kings and Julia will just keep fighting.

- If we murder Justine, then it's chaos.

- Crazy chaos and suspicion will fall on Vanda.

It's absolutely perfect.

- How exciting that my first murder is someone that I'm a huge fan of.

Yeah, I think I've been murdered because I had a really good shot of winning. I think that's it.

This could be a massive mistake, but there's a deeper plan to it.

- I mean, I wanted to eat some breakfast before we got into this,

but, yeah. - Yeah, yeah.

- Kings comes straight at me. Took me aback.

- I don't think you're a traitor. I think you're a selfish faithful.

- It's a pretty dangerous play from him.

I don't know what his idea is.

- You, like, save yourself.

It felt... - I can't see how that—

- It's not so much that it puts you in the traitor line,

it's like a not very good faithful line.

Brooke has always been, in this game, quite deceptive.

I think if he is a faithful, he's the perfect ally

to kind of find out who the traitors are.

If he is a traitor, though, I'm ultra-screwed.

- For over two days now, I've been trying to say to you, 'Dude, I think you're a faithful.

'I think you need to be able to defend—'

That's— That's me like having your back as much as I can.

I am so lucky it's Kings that's accusing me,

because all anyone's heard is me defending him.

- (VANDA CHATTERS)

I think we might be able to draw out a traitor today.

- The way that he threw Brooke, straight away.

- Yeah. - It was an ultimate deflect.

We need to see what everyone's doing.

- Yeah, I'm still interested in Anna, obviously, because, like,

she's the one that I wo—

- In my mind, this morning, Anna was acting a little differently.

I'm not sure if that's... - She's a weapon too, man.

She's such a weapon. - She'd be great.

We don't have much time, guys.

- I know my name is going to be in the firing line from that.

It's like out of character for me. Everything about it was weird.

I kind of need you guys—

If it becomes that I'm a 'Hail Mary' and I go out tonight,

you guys, as faithfuls, need to figure out who the (BLEEP) traitors are.

This morning was literally me just ruffling the feathers.

I just want to see the reactions of people.

I want to see what Brooke's like under fire.

Cos if everyone's going this way, you guys can observe from...

I can't observe shit, cos everybody's quiet around me at the moment.

'The idea is that I say Brooke to everybody else,

'so no one thinks that I'm thinking of anybody else but Brooke,'

and I'm listening for people that actively push me towards Brooke

and people that actively try to distract me and go somewhere else.

making sure that he's getting votes against him.

And in this game, weird calls like that get you ousted.

- It's very important that whoever you vote for gets other votes from other people.

I think Kings is a traitor,

and we're gonna to have to tread lightly.

- Yeah. OK, so, guys— OK, we do. Right. - We've got some sort of something.

- We don't really have a plan. - We have nothing; I've just told you what I've planned.

- We know what your plan is. - You know what I'm doing.

'I think the one fundamental fail that I had in that plan was

'that I needed everybody that I was telling the plan to, to have 100% trust in me and in the plan.

'And because I didn't get that across the line too much,

'it would have just looked like me blabbing on about Brooke.'

I can't help but feel like I'm doing a really bad job at being a faithful. (CHUCKLES)

- I've asked the remaining players to join me for a seemingly simple mission.

Well, apart from a few treacherous twists.

- COLIN: Anything else on your mind? - I was clear this morning, I think.

It's so hard, man. This game has become so...

- Personal. - Yeah, personal. I do feel Brooke just played a selfish game,

and I don't even know if that's who he is. I don't know well enough,

but he's definitely played the game as a selfish. - Yeah.

I think Brooke's a faithful.

The thing that makes this plan so compelling is that Brooke has been playing the game so selfishly.

So it's kind of easy to have some rivalry with him. And I think it's believable.

People will believe that I'm upset.

Sam did mention in the lounge Anna changed, from his observations, up until this point.

So up until this point, she was normal.

And then he reckons this morning she was different.

- Is she different? - I don't know.

- You see, I love Anna. And I think she looks fresh and open in my eyes. But— So, again...

- Just be observing. - No, I've got blinders, you know?

Like, I've gotta pull my head out of my arse.

'I feel I went over Kings and Vanda today in the car

'by just being, you know, really friendly, listening to them.'

And that kind of flattery does, you know, make people think he's trustworthy.

- ANNA: I said— I was like, I swear on my baby's life I haven't been blackmailed.

That would be a really awful thing as a parent to say on national television. (LAUGHS)

- Anna says that she swears on her children's life that she is a faithful.

If she is willing to do that, then I'm going to go along with her, and I trust her.

(TENSE MUSIC)

- Players, welcome.

I honestly think this will be the easiest mission to date.

There is a big fat pile of cash waiting for you in my counting house, and all you have to do is count.

Count 13 minutes and 13 seconds.

Dead easy.

I'm being generous, and I'm giving you 60 seconds leeway.

If you land within that window, your team will get $2000 for the prize pool.

If you don't — zip, zero, nada.

and closest to the accurate count wins access to my armoury.

- Going into the armoury would be absolutely a power play,

because I'm on the chopping block now.

Did I mention my counting house is haunted?

I'm not good with frights, and I'm really nervous that there's gonna be bugs or something like that.

There's one benefit to going alone, and that is a trip to the armoury with my comrade.

So I got a good chance of winning.

- I've had a devilish job trying to exorcise the ghosts from my counting house.

I've tried so many things.

They can be so discombobulating when they squeal

and howl

and throw things.

- We got this, buddy.

- Well, I'll do the counting the minutes, 13 minutes and 13 seconds.

And you do the metronome by seconds OK? - Yeah, cool.

- For the mission, Anna and I paired up, and it's purely because Anna is the master communicator.

And I know together that we can make a really good team.

- I'm going one potato, two potato, three potato. And I'm counting in tens.

- Cos Colin's done catwalk, he's confident that he can keep a clear rhythm.

So he's going to do the seconds, and I'll do the minutes.

- OK. - WHISPERS: Two, three.

- Oh, wow, it's still pitch black. This is (BLEEP)ed up.

The door slams, and I'm scared someone's going to touch me or something and I will flip out.

So I'm trying to make myself really small, and I just keep my head down,

and I just— I nod my head and keep beat with my leg.

- Are you counting? - Yes.

with a whole lot of chaos and noises and not knowing what's coming at you.

- The scariest part was when we started hearing all the former people that I've voted out — oops.

- I was going good, man. I felt like I was going real solid.

And then I hear this massive pot clang.

And I think I lost a minute, cos it kind of just startled me a bit.

- Something metal dropped on the ground, and it was so loud.

- That was 12. - 12, yeah, thank you.

- The distractions in the room were hardcase. I flinched an awful lot; he didn't flinch a bit.

- VOICE ON RECORDING: Watch your back. There is someone coming for you.

- You know, I think human nature, we wanna be scared sometimes.

I was right there going, yes, yes, more.

- 26, 27, 28... (HOOTER BLARES)

- I was sitting there putting my fingers out, and I had this moment where I kind of got distracted.

And then I was like, 'Oh my gosh. Was I at eight or was I at seven?'

- 12?

- Brooke was keeping track of the minutes, which was really great, because I lost track twice.

- 10, 11, 12... (CLANG!)

...13. - Time!

- When we call time, I just don't know if my rhythm is on a second or not.

- Time.

Honestly, I think that we've won that challenge. I was cool, calm and collected.

I was like, I think we've got this.

- Time.

I'm feeling pretty good — definitely went to 13 minutes.

I might have underdone it with that pot clang, but I'm feeling pretty confident. I think I got it.

- Wow.

And believe you me, there was one team that was spectacularly least successful.

- I'm hoping that we get the closest to the time, cos I would love to go into that armoury again.

- 19 minutes! - Speechless. You will add nothing to the prize fund with that.

And I wear it. It is not Vanda; it is me.

- Next, it turns out it's tricky to do this on your own as well.

Still outside my one-minute window. - That's pretty good. Well done. - I'm all right with that.

- Six faithfuls, two traitors, yeah. - Yeah, which is a horribly uncomfortable sensation.

'I have to watch my back a wee bit, because I am at risk.'

Four people voted against me around the table last night.

- I think Vanda's acting totally not herself today. - Very different today.

- You know, one of the people things people say about me is that, 'Oh, you've been quiet,' and things,

but I get cut off all the time, I get talked over all the time,

and there's so many big voices in the room.

'Julia is full on her observing game,'

so I know that she is watching me, and she's been quite upfront about

the fact that she's still keeping me on her radar.

- I said to her this morning, I said, 'Vanda, what's your plan?

'Cos, you know, Kings is really gonna go for you now.' And she was like, 'Oh, yeah.' (LAUGHS)

And I was like, 'Traitor.'

'I'm noticing that Vanda is looking like she's feeling some pressure.'

Maybe she's struggling with her new ownership of being a traitor.

- Oh, we just sat next to her, and she's so adorable.

- I know, but it's such an obvious choice.

- It's a game. It's a game. Just keep reminding me — Robbie, Dan, Brooke. Robbie, Dan, Brooke.

I fall for the (BLEEP) sob stories.

The whole morning, it's felt like people are moving away from me,

even though Kings made this crazy statement at breakfast that he was gonna vote for me.

But I think that it's either gonna go two ways.

Either everyone has agreed to vote for me tonight

or they are being honest, and they're all heading for Vanda.

Who is the most likely to blackmail Vanda last night, then?

- Kings. - Kings.

- You think it's Kings, OK. - I think Kings as well. - Yeah.

My plan going forward is to take Vanda out tonight at the round table

and hope that Kings doesn't offload me and murder me tonight.

And I think that's a move to try and protect the faithfuls as much as possible.

I know I'll be this morning, but it'll be interesting to see who's not.

- I think it's Colin, man. I've got, like, a massive feeling it's Colin.

Out of everything that I've listened to today, being like, 'I'm going for Brooke, bro.'

And he's like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely.'

And then I'll say another name— another name will come up, and he's like, 'Yeah, exactly.'

I feel really strong on Vanda. I could be completely wrong, and that would be disastrous.

He is the kind of person that could have organised and orchestrated an entire pile in on me tonight.

And I may not know it's coming.

- VANDA: I know I am a faithful.

almost like you could facilitate conversation quite well.
