I'll be spending a lot of today running defence

and thinking how I can play, work, talk my way out of it.

- Did you ever peg her or have any idea?

These people are all gone. It's just us.

You see, the others have been selected by the traitors and kidnapped.

While I've been tied up before, I've never, ever been kidnapped.

but you also have to decide right now which three will be kidnapped.

- This is a particularly important mission, because we have control.

Dan has a lot of work to do tomorrow.

He's just not getting involved enough and not forming the alliances he needs to.

You'll be able to defend yourself during the day, because you're gonna need to do that.

If we can get through this next little storm with Dan,

I think it's gonna to be really hard for them to win.

Anna has clearly said to me, 'I think Dan is the guy.'

- So, what does that mean for you all today?

You need to find your abducted comrades.

You will have one hour to do so, and if you succeed, how does an extra $8000 sound?

You will need to divide yourselves into two teams.

The first team to find your missing comrades will win a trip to my armoury.

You're welcome to finish breakfast if you wish.

- We have to go find our kidnapped friends.

We don't know where they are.

One might be murdered. This game's crazy, man.

We're thrown in a car. We get a map, a couple of pens, a pad and a cell phone,

and we're told, 'Good luck.'

- JUSTINE: Let's find our friends, and not our murdered friend.

- Something that Paul Henry said was that the traitors could be at the table

or they could have kidnapped themselves.

- That's right. We're not assuming that...

- ...everyone that we're saving is good.

(OMINOUS MUSIC)

- BROOKE: So, I'm thinking karma is a real thing.

I've got a hood over my head, a blindfold on.

And I asked for this.

- JULIA: That was brutal.

I'm completely disorientated.

I just know that I have to keep calm.

- ANNA: I hear doors shutting and chains rapping.

It's nerve-racking.

Cos I know that I'm being led off to be murdered.

- Early this morning three players were kidnapped from the lodge and taken to this isolated location.

They don't know where they are,

who they're with,

and most importantly, how to escape.

- Ugh!

- What the...?

Oh my God. - Oh my God! (LAUGHS)

There were chains. It was, like, freaking me out.

- Oh my God! - Hi. Good morning. - Good morning.

- So it was a relief to see other people and a phone with some coins and some notepads in front of us.

- We've gotta get focused. We've gotta get into it.

- OK.

- Mm!

You've been kidnapped. - Oy!

- And in order to be found, you need to help your teammates out.

Around you, you'll see a list of questions.

You'll need to call your teammates for the answers to those questions,

which will in turn unlock the coordinates of your location.

If you can lead a team to your location within one hour,

they will win prize money for the pool,

and the successful team wins a trip to the armoury.

- Oh, shit. OK, I wasn't really ready to be solving puzzles. - Yeah. (CHUCKLES)

- So, these are phone numbers for each team.

- There's two teams. - I see.

- Looking at the phone, I notice there's a slot there for the coins to go in.

So surely there must be a limited amount of phone calls that we can make to get our freedom.

- Always good to have someone from law enforcement. 7369!

- What is the fourth letter of Julia's middle name?

On the wall, we all notice that there are a list of clues.

The first one is pretty easy.

It's my middle name, Margaret, and the first clue is G.

- VANDA: How are we feeling about Julia?

- SAM: I'm fairly confident that Julia is faithful.

I think the person I trust most of all is probably Julia.

She talks like a cop and she says things straight.

- What I love with Julia is that she's finding her feet and her place here,

and now we're getting to see Julia... - In action.

- Her insights into the policing side of things has been helpful. - Isn't it brilliant?

And we haven't really been using it.

She believes that Dan and Kings are traitors.

And I think it's worth pursuing it, cos it does add up.

- I have to say, I'm pretty happy that we are the hunters,

and not the kidnapped. - Yeah, me too!

- Strategy for today with the remaining players that I'm gonna be interacting with

is act like nothing really happened.

- I'm imagining Dylan standing weirdly under a big tree. (LAUGHS)

- If I focus around the Robbie thing too much, it's too obvious that I'm defending myself.

I don't have any reason to defend myself, because I am 100% faithful.

That is the mindset. That is the strategy for today.

- JULIA: Shall we strategically start working through...?

- I'm assuming we have to talk to them, right?

- Perhaps we give that — that could be a clue. G, straight away.

- Yeah. We need to give them the coordinates, because all of that will make a coordinate.

Every time we talk, she gets about 10 seconds, and then it's gone again.

On one side, it goes from 79 through to 119.

And then down the other side, it's BE to BD.

(PHONE DISCONNECTS) - Out of time.

- Well, if they're saying two numbers, then our 99 fits in between those numbers.

- DAN: My team, Justine and Kings, I think I have a really good amount of trust there.

- They've cut us out. Let's call the other team and tell them.

- It would have been more beneficial for me to have been in a car with other players

that I could try to move towards trusting me more.

- Can I just point out, Dan has won every shield challenge.

we should potentially target him over Kings.

- Both teams have now received their final coordinates.

These coordinates will lead them to the location

where three of their missing comrades are being held.

The fourth has been mercilessly murdered overnight.

But just who that is, the players are yet to discover.

- This is worrying me, but maybe this is something for when we get when they get here.

- So, the first person that I'm sure noticed the Robbie death stare and possibly the wink... is Dylan.

He has now put me to the top of his list.

- Honestly, I believe he's gonna get us eventually, if we keep him in the game.

- There's no hard evidence on any one person at the moment.

There's still doubts about Kings, but also questions about Dan.

He's been very quiet, reserved, but we recognise that he is an observer.

- Someone said that they saw Robbie giving him, like, burning laser beams

through his body last night when he put her name down.

- COLIN: And then there was a wink at the end.

Finally, I get to go into the armoury. I'm a part of the cool club now.

It would be cool to have the shield so I can actually have, like, a decent sleep.

But I could still be banished, so it's a 50-50.

- Unless something outrageous happens.

- My number one suspect for tonight is Vanda.

There's no real reason, other than she cried one time.

So, we've all agreed — myself, Justine and Dan — that we aren't gonna share who gets the shield.

- I am trying really hard to stay calm and collected.

And I really want to win that shield.

- I didn't get it, so it's out of Dan and Justine.

- This is my fourth trip into the armoury.

(CHUCKLES)

And for the first time, I actually pick up the shield.

- (SIGHS) Suck it.

I don't have the shield.

But no one knows that, so I think I'll sleep pretty good tonight.

- Getting the shield, it's such a huge advantage as a traitor.

But at the moment, I think it is really important that I shift the focus to tonight's round table.

(DEVIOUS MUSIC)

- I'm trying to count off the people that I feel confident will vote for me

versus the ones that could be swayed to move the vote to Vanda.

I reckon you've kinda got the best... next best knowledge on the actual game, Sam.

- I don't know about that.

- Once again, Sam has no idea who he's voting for.

So it's really crucial at this point that we get Sam on our side.

- If I'm a traitor, I will give everyone here $50,000.

- So we have to sell him the idea of voting for Vanda

without overselling it to make him suspicious.
