[Mistaken Love]

[Episode 17]

Big Brother.

You're finally back.

Second Brother, you speak as if

you knew I was coming back.

I'm just glad that you returned in time.

Conghuan and I owe our happiness today

to you, Big Brother.

But now that I'm back,

Conghuan will still be my Crown Princess.

Conghuan.

Mo Heng?

Conghuan!

I thought I'd never see you again.

You...

You're still alive.

After I fell from the city wall,

I was swept away by the river.

Fortunately, a farmer saved me

and let me recover in the mountains.

The moment I recovered,

I came to see you.

Mo Heng, I...

What did you call me?

Why aren't you calling me Heng anymore?

She is my wife now.

Naturally, she must distance herself from Your Highness, the Crown Prince,

to avoid any misunderstandings.

What have you done to Conghuan?

Conghuan,

if he's threatened you,

tell me.

I'll take care of it for you.

You have no right to question her.

You planned all of this!

You disregard moral principles,

killing your brother and taking his wife.

How can you be so at ease with yourself?

I'm not the one with a guilty conscience,

Big Brother.

You know best

about what you did.

Your Highness,

His Majesty has heard of your return

and is waiting for you in the palace.

Jin,

so what really happened

on the city wall that day?

How did you find out?

Of course, Conghuan told me herself.

We've been completely honest with each other.

Actually, I don't mind Conghuan's past,

but she said

you're the only stain in her past.

But it doesn't matter.

We have a long future ahead of us.

I'll help her forget the past.

Oh, right.

She also said

she wanted to have many, many children with me.

Second Brother, you haven't had children yet, have you?

You must not know what that feels like.

Shut up.

What you can't give her—

I can provide it all.

So that's how it is.

Then, why did he do that?

To conceal the death warriors.

To conceal the death warriors?

I see.

You mentioned before

that after Mo Heng faked his death,

all traces of the remaining death warriors disappeared.

So,

I suspect Mo Heng is connected to the death warriors.

Then, do you think

Mo Heng...

Based on what I know about him,

he's planning an even bigger move.

Jin,

no matter what happens,

I will always stand by your side.

Do you remember?

Back when we were in Zizhou,

we each had

a red string tied around our wrists,

symbolizing our unity

and unwavering loyalty.

As long as I live,

I will protect you.

We must both live well.

We're also going to…

I almost forgot,

I need to take Conghuan to meet Father together.

She is my lawfully wedded Crown Princess.

If she were to remarry...

No,

she won't remarry.

I will never divorce her.

You don't need to divorce a dead person.

But I'm back now.

She will always be my Crown Princess.

I will never let her leave.

Conghuan is not an object.

She shouldn't be fought over by us two.

Who she chooses to be with

is up to her.

Mo Heng,

you've been good to me,

but there's only one person in my heart.

Then, there's no need for further discussion.

Let Father decide Conghuan's fate.

Your Highness.

Conghuan,

I knew you would come back.

Your Highness,

I think it's best to return this to its rightful owner.

Why have you changed?

It's good that you're back alive.

Here, I'm returning this to you.

Conghuan,

do you know how I survived?

The river water was so cold in winter.

I fell from the city wall.

My internal organs were ruptured,

bleeding non-stop.

I was supposed to die,

but I wanted to come back to see you.

I was thinking you must be waiting for me.

I couldn't leave you behind.

Even if I had only one breath left,

even if I had to crawl,

I would crawl back to Qingshuo to find you.

-Let's be the same as before. Okay? -Your Highness.

Soon, this country will be mine,

and it will all be yours, too.

I will make you

the most powerful woman in the world, alright?

Your Highness, I have matters to attend to. I'll take my leave.

I really should be dead

for bumping into you, Princess!

Isn't this the little eunuch who misled me with the poisoned dart?

Why is he here?

Your Highness,

His Majesty requests your presence.

Your Highness must respond carefully.

This is how it is.

It is up to you to decide, Father.

You two brothers fight

over a woman.

Where does this leave the royal family's reputation?

I don't wish for this either,

but Second Brother tried to take my life

and stole Conghuan away.

Matters without evidence

should not be speculated upon.

I also believe Second Brother didn't mean to.

He might have been too eager to marry,

so he lost his senses.

As his big brother,

I won't hold it against him.

Good.

That is what you should do as the Crown Prince.

Since you've finally returned,

you should rest and recover in the Eastern Palace.

Let your troublesome Crown Princess

take good care of you.

Yes.

Have you asked for her consent?

Absurd!

I am the Emperor.

Do I need to ask for a woman's opinion?

Father!

I am willing to return to the Eastern Palace.

Father, you favor Mo Jin to such an extent

[Memorial Tablet of Mo Heng, Crown Prince of Qingshuo]

that you don't even care about my life.

Do you think you can appease me with a woman?

Your Highness,

we've received messages from both the Northern Desert and Southern Regions.

Everything has been arranged.

We await Your Highness's orders.

Who is it?
