=The Unbreakable Bond= (Adapted from Xiao A'man's novel)

("After the Ugly Concubine Divorced, She is Wooed By Big Shots of the Capital.")

=Episode 15=

Time is up!

The results are out.

The two participants in the winning team

have to answer one extra question.

The one who answers it first will be the final winner.

Interesting.

If so,

please give us the extra riddle, sir.

The mountains are dyed yellow by the autumn foliage.

The Qing magistrate accumulates a mountain of silver.

Do you know the answer?

A bell.

It's a bell.

First Young Lady Ling got the answer first.

You are our champion this year.

Good one!

That was great.

Bring it over.

Assassin!

- Liang Junye! - Chuxia!

Chuxia!

- Lord Ling! - Chuxia!

- Liang Junye! - Chuxia!

Get a doctor!

Why did you do that?

Are you stupid?

This time is because I'm indebted to you.

Junye.

Junye!

Junye!

Thankfully, the injury is not fatal

and Uncle survived.

Now we just have to pray that he wakes up.

Lord Ling's actions

showed how much he cares about you, Chuxia.

Lord Ling risked his life to save me.

I have to make it up to him.

Liefeng went to look for Yunniang and hasn't returned.

De.

I'll have to trouble you to fetch the medicine.

Feed it to Lord Ling once he wakes up.

Yes, Miss Ling.

Yue.

I was going to use the Blazing Kirin I just won

to treat your legs.

But now,

we'll have to wait till after Lord Ling wakes up.

That's fine.

Since you've already obtained the Blazing Kirin,

you should look after Lord Ling first.

We'll take our leave.

I didn't see Yunniang at Baicao Apothecary.

Nor is she at the tea house.

Where did Yunniang go?

Liang Junye.

Do not for once think that blocking the attack for me

means the marriage proposal is real.

It's not that easy to get involved with me.

The wishes we made before,

we still have to go back and give our thanks.

Let's go and make a wish.

What wish?

De.

Look after Lord Ling for me.

I have to step out for a bit.

Are your legs going to be cured soon?

Perhaps.

I've yet to thank you.

Thank me for what?

I know.

If not for you, Princess,

Chuxia couldn't have gotten the Blazing Kirin.

And I wouldn't have believed my legs could be cured.

There's no need to be so courteous with me.

As long as you get my sentiment.

Your sentiment...

I'm afraid I'm unable to reciprocate.

What do you mean by that?

I regard you only as my pupil learning chess.

Nothing more.

If you already knew,

why do you pretend to be unaware?

The gap between us

is like heaven and earth.

We're clearly unmatched.

I don't care about that.

Now, your legs are going to recover.

- I'll go back and ask my father... - Princess.

Even if my legs are well again,

I'm not going to have any relation with you.

Do you mean that?

Every word.

Sorry for my intrusion.

Even if my legs are well,

I'm still the son of a criminal.

I can't bear having you condescend by marrying me

and suffer the harshness of reality.

(I pray for the Sacred Tree's protection.)

(Please let Lord Ling wake up soon,)

(healthy and well.)

(May her wish come true.)

(Liang Junye.)

Luoluo.

I can't believe what happened.

I will find out

where the assassin came from.

Miss Chuxia is a straightforward person

who likes to help others.

Perhaps, after leaving the Prime Minister's Residence,

she unknowingly offended someone

and made an enemy.

Investigating the matter might be difficult.

However,

I think

this is a new opportunity for Your Highness.

You can use the incident as a reason

to visit the General's Residence often

and check on Miss Chuxia's well-being.

You're right.

That makes sense.

I'll have to think about

what to gift Chuxia.

Chuxia.

Why didn't you tell me that you're participating in the riddles contest

because you wanted to win the Blazing Kirin to treat my legs?

I want to tell you.

You mustn't risk your own safety for my sake again.

Yue,

that was purely an accident.

I didn't know someone was trying to kill me.

You were in danger because of me.

The only thing I wish for

is that you're unharmed.

I believe the incident at the riddles contest tonight

was aimed at me.

I'm going to find out what happened.

I won't have Lord Ling suffer the stab for nothing.

Yue,

I'm going to check on Lord Ling.
