[Mistaken Love]

[Episode 14]

Jin!

Jin!

Jin!

Wake up!

Mo Jin.

Your life belongs to me.

♫Rain falls down in the yard at night♫

Without my permission,

you can't die.

♫Reflecting on the departure in the world♫

♫We meet each other again even when we're apart♫

♫What we had was glorious♫

Here.

Mother,

I don't want to take this bitter medicine anymore.

♫A sharp arrow pierced through memories♫

Be good, Nine.

The blind divine healer said,

♫Love is growing♫

you were born weak,

and you need to nourish your blood with medicine.

Becoming a Medicine Maid is the only way to extend your life

♫The curtain separates love and hatred♫

and grow up safely.

Only when you grow up can you protect me, right?

♫After endless sorrow♫

Yes.

I will protect you, Mother.

♫Love is hard to forget♫

♫What we had was a dream♫

[Nourish blood with medicine, sustain life with blood]

♫We'd better enjoy the moment♫

♫That year, we chatted and laughed under a pear tree♫

♫Snow flew in the whole night♫

♫All happiness in the world♫

♫Comes with regrets♫

No wonder he was fine the last two times.

♫I hardened my resolve to leave you♫

Turns out my blood can neutralize his poison.

♫And you never came into my dream♫

♫When everything turns into nothing♫

♫I wish I could be with you forever♫

Nine.

If...

I mean, if one day I die,

will you cry for me?

I

won't cry

for you.

♫I hardened my resolve to leave you♫

♫And you never came into my dream♫

You still owe me the truth.

♫When everything turns into nothing♫

Before that,

♫I wish I could be with you forever♫

you're not allowed to die.

Jin?

The Ninth Princess of Zizhou will get married to the Crown Prince of Qingshuo.

We are ordered to eliminate those who are unnecessary

and retrieve the token.

No one can stand in our way!

Go!

The Ninth Princess is no longer there!

I rushed to the bamboo forest, only to find that you were unconscious in the rain.

The child...

The child is already dead.

Nine.

Jin.

Jin.

You're awake.

Why?

Jin.

Nine, why did you betray me?

Jin.

Jin.

Nine.

Why did you abandon me?

How could I abandon you?

♫The bell rings like questions♫

♫The past is like a dream, sword dance under pear blossoms♫

♫Black hair turned white, yet cannot be severed♫

♫Bound by fate, even to death♫

♫Entangled in promises and vows♫

♫We see each other every year♫

♫You're right in front of me; my heart is broken♫

♫Love is hard to say, the hidden hatred♫

♫Is it love or resentment from past lives?♫

♫The red blood stained the white snow♫

♫If love has turned into a sharp arrow♫

♫It will pierce the heart's desire♫

♫The wind and snow rage and swirl♫

♫Entangling to redden the eyes♫

♫It fell between the eyebrows like fate♫

♫The destined cycle♫

♫Gazes across the expanse of time♫

♫Love and hate travel through the years♫

♫The lights shine as desired, and we cherish our time together♫

♫The thrill of infatuation remains unspoken♫

Do you know who I am?

I am the Empress Dowager of Qingshuo!

Who gave you the audacity?

What kind of Empress Dowager would be so noisy like you?

You're clearly just a young girl.

Why pretend to be mature?

How dare you!

After I return to the palace,

I will surely have your skin peeled off

to make a fine drum

for them to play and entertain me!

Stop acting like that.

I've never seen an Empress Dowager from a country

who is a young girl.

A pure and innocent maiden like you

would have ridden an eight-bearer sedan chair to get married.

Instead, you ran to the battlefield for His Highness!

Have you no shame?

For the sake of glory,

you're trying to marry me off to a man old enough to be my grandfather.

Do you even have any shame doing this?

You...

If you don't marry him,

do you want your younger sister, who hasn't even come of age, to marry him instead?

Huh?

For my sister's sake,

I had no choice but to marry him.

But in less than a month,

the late emperor passed away.

From that time on,

I became the Empress Dowager of Qingshuo.

Aren't you getting tired of saying you're the Empress Dowager?

Come on.

What are you doing?

No one here will treat you as an Empress Dowager.

Sit.

Drink.

Women in Qingshuo

are not like those in Zizhou.

What do you mean?

Women in Zizhou

ride horses to go hunting,

drink, and dance,

never confined by their gender.

They live freely and uninhibitedly.

They're just like men.

What's so good about that?

I think

you just don't dare to drink.

Well?

Women in Qingshuo

can also live freely and uninhibitedly.

Good.

Come on, let's continue.

Nine.

Nine.

You're alright now.

How could you easily believe what that blind divine healer said?

If anything had happened to you,

what should I do?

You promised me

you'd tell me everything after today.

You have to live.

You were the one who wanted to kill me.

Now you're the one who saved my life by risking yours.

Nine,

can't you see your own heart clearly even now?

So, back then,

was that person you?

Master's grand plan has been accomplished.

He will return soon.

-The two inside... -Have both passed out.

The man is severely poisoned.

I'm afraid he doesn't have much time left.

We must kill him.

We can't let him leave here alive.

Got it.

Speaking of Master,

why would he keep showing mercy to Li Conghuan?

Nine!

Nine!

Last time we killed the Second Prince's child.

If we had taken care of him as well,

we wouldn't have had the trouble now.

You shouldn't comment on Master's personal affairs!

Got it.

Nine, you can't go.

You can't go.

Child...

You'll be killed if you go out.

Our child was...

Listen to me, Nine.

They killed our child.

Nine, you can't go out.

I'm gonna kill them.

Listen to me first.

Listen to me first.

Our survival is the most important thing right now.

I won't let them off for what they did to our child.

Who is it?

Let's go!

Hurry, after them!

Hurry, after them! Hurry!
