[Mistaken Love]

[Episode 11]

We just escaped from the palace.

Let's take shelter at my friend's inn for now.

Thank you for helping me escape.

So,

you really killed Mo Jin with that poisoned dart?

He killed my mother with that poisoned dart.

I merely returned what was his.

Ninth Princess,

we'd better hurry on our way

in case the pursuers catch up with us.

No.

All previous assassination attempts failed.

This time, I must see Qingshuo draped in mourning with my own eyes.

I must see him die with my own eyes before I leave.

Then, let's stay here for now.

Tomorrow,

I'll find a chance to go back to Qingshuo for information.

I didn't expect everything to go so smoothly tonight.

Even the deities can't save Mo Jin this time.

Yes.

This time, if it weren't for that poisoned dart,

I wouldn't have been able to kill him either.

I had wondered why we couldn't

find that poisoned dart for so long.

It turns out that it was stolen by the assassins and given to Mo Jin.

That poisoned dart has a unique design.

It must be those assassins who feared leaving behind evidence.

Then, this must be God's will.

The timing was perfect;

tonight of all nights, you found Mo Jin's poisoned dart.

He deserved to die.

The timing was perfect...

Forgive me.

I have offended you, Princess.

But what if it isn't God's will?

What do you mean?

I've never seen that young eunuch

in the palace before.

Why did the poisoned dart appear

when he appeared?

And why did that poisoned dart

happen to appear right in front of me?

Mo Jin is not one to be so careless with his possessions.

If someone had planned it on purpose,

then his purpose would have been...

To use you

to get rid of Mo Jin.

Search this place.

Soldiers,

what's wrong?

Have you seen this woman?

No, I haven't.

Search this place.

Sir,

we just run a small inn here.

We've never seen this person before.

Listen, all of you!

[Wanted]

Whoever catches this woman alive

will be rewarded with 100 taels of gold!

Sir, you saw it too;

we truly don't have the person you're looking for here.

We didn't find her.

Let's go.

Take care, soldiers.

Take care. Take care!

This place is no longer safe.

We should hurry and get out of here.

No.

Something is wrong.

If the owner of the poisoned dart

is truly one of Mo Jin's black-clad subordinates,

then why would they want to use me to kill him?

Unless the owner of the dart is someone else.

Then, who is the true owner of the dart?

He Lianxuan,

did I...

did I make a mistake?

We should leave here quickly.

No!

I can't leave.

I have to get to the bottom of this matter.

Otherwise, I won't leave.

I've checked.

The man in black who used this dart is a remnant of the assassins from the previous dynasty.

This organization is very mysterious

and loyal to someone who wields immense power and influence.

But this person is elusive,

and no one in the martial world has ever seen him.

I've never been able to track him down either.

Why have you never told me this before?

He betrayed you.

He caused your family to be destroyed.

You want to kill him,

and I certainly won't stop you.

Ninth Princess.

I told you

I would always support all your decisions.

After everything,

you still don't trust me.

But what if my decision was wrong?

I want to go back.

Don't go.

Didn't you see those pursuers just now?

You'll die if you go back now.

No.

I have to get to the bottom of this matter.

I've done my best.

The poison has seeped into His Highness's very marrow.

There's really no way to save him.

Is there really no other way?

Normally, His Highness would have died on the spot.

That he has survived until now

is entirely due to his profound internal martial energy.

Quack.

What's the point of having you in the Imperial Medical Bureau?

What about my mother and my child?

Why didn't you leave

any of my loved ones alone?

Today, even if I have to risk my life,

I will use your blood

to honor my dead families!

Nine...

Don't go.

Is there really no other way?

There is one method left.

Unless we use special medicine

to prolong His Highness's life,

it might allow him to hold on for a few more years.

If we don't use the medicine,

sealing his acupoints would allow him to move normally.

It's just that the poison will break out within a day.

Given the urgency,

we should use the medicine first

to buy me some time to find the antidote.

My Lord, this medicine will severely damage his body,

and from then on, His Highness will be unable to move like a normal person

and will have to lie in bed like a living corpse for the rest of his life.

The situation is urgent.

We should use the medicine first.

Even if he cannot move,

you must keep His Highness alive.

Yes.

Empress Dowager,

we haven't found Li Conghuan.

Search. Keep searching.

Even if you have to turn the entire palace upside down,

you must find this treacherous woman.

Yes.

I'm sending people to look for you.

I didn't expect you to have the audacity

to come back and court death.

Guards, arrest her!

Yes.

I want all the subjects of Qingshuo to see

the consequences of assassinating His Highness.

How is he?

You still have the nerve to ask?

You don't think he would plead for you, do you?

I want to see him.

On the day you are executed,

I'll definitely have him come to send you on your final journey.

Report!

Your Highness,

the Empress Dowager has caught the assassin.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.
