Transcending the Nine Heavens

Episode 1:

Episode 1: The Tribulation of Storm Arena

For tens of thousands of years,

countless heroes had slaughtered each other

in order to obtain the Jiujie Sword.

They did so to rule the Nine Heavens,

which initiated an endless cycle of destruction,

created drastic changes in the world,

and produced unique destinies.

Chu Yang Venom Sword Martial Lord

Chu Yang,

hurry and hand over the Jiujie Sword.

Jiujie Sword.

The sword light shines coldly and blindingly!

I have the Jiujie Sword.

Come and take it if you want it.

Chu Yang,

don't be so brazen!

You were just lucky enough to get your hands on the legendary sword.

No one knows for sure

who the sword will belong to after today.

You may look plump and strong,

but you're only good with words.

Prepare to die!

Brother,

the Jiujie Sword is the Nine Heavens' top divine weapon.

He must have been channeling his power in secret.

You'll be hurt by the sword aura before you can lay a finger on him.

Although the Jiujie Sword is extremely sharp,

Chu Yang is just a Martial Lord.

He has a long way to go before he can harness the true power of the sword.

He'll have his hands full

if we attack him together.

We can talk about who can own the Jiujie Sword

after that.

He's just a Martial Lord

who can do nothing but cunning trickery.

I just arrived at Storm Arena

and obtained the fifth shard,

yet you were on my tail already.

Cut the crap.

Prepare to die!

All those who know I'm the wielder of the Jiujie Sword

must die.

Sword Style of Jiujie,

the one who stands out from the heroes

will rule!

The Jiujie Sword is mine.

Chu Yang.

Qingwu, stay back.

Bamboo Garden Mount Nirvana of Middle Three Realms

I was afraid that I might hurt you with this.

Mo Qingwu Chu Yang

Qingwu,

I practice the Indifferent Sword Path.

Now, I've hit a plateau.

Chu Yang.

Single-mindedness is the key

to overcoming the Nine Tribulations in the Nine Heavens.

Back then, I got together with you

to cultivate my heart.

But now, the Three Tribulations Heartless Slash requires one to give up on their emotions.

The key to mastering it

is

to sever one's emotional bonds.

Sever

one's emotional bonds?

I shall

never dance easily for someone.

Once I dance,

I suffer for the rest of my life.

In this life, I dance for you.

Although it's excruciating,

I have no regret for it.

Venom Sword Martial Lord? Heartless Swordsman?

He couldn't even protect his beloved.

Qingwu!

Chu...

Chu Yang,

I'm afraid

I cannot witness the moment

you ascend to the Nine Heavens.

Just...

Just let it

accompany you

on my behalf.

Chu Yang,

I'm content

that I'm able to die in your arms.

Qingwu?

Qingwu!

Qingwu!

Hahaha.

Initially, I thought I could ascend to the Heavenly Path

by leaving you and severing my bonds with you.

Now, I've obtained five shards.

But I almost lost my life at Storm Arena.

People say

the one who wields the Jiujie Sword will rule the world.

But I've lost everything

after wielding the Jiujie Sword.

Three Tribulations Heartless Slash!

The mountain of bodies

and the sea of blood,

their fragrance is timeless.

Chu Yang!

You shall not leave!

Excellent skills.

Upper Three Realms Venerable Lords

Upper Three Realms Venerable Lords You do live up to your name as the Venom Sword Martial Lord.

It's a shame that someone wants you dead.

So, I cannot have a fair duel with you in this lifetime.

What a shame.

Once the Jiujie Sword is uncovered,

the world will be plunged into chaos.

You utilized the shards of the Jiujie Sword

to commit such a massacre at Storm Arena.

That is not the way of being a swordsman.

And you don't deserve to wield it.

Save your breath.

Hurry and hunt Chu Yang down.

Venerable Lords, huh?

So, the three of you planned this out before coming to hunt me down.

I never expected the mighty Venerable Lords

to launch a sneak attack!

Stop your childish babble!

Venom Sword Martial Lord,

the Upper Three Realms

is nowhere for you to act wildy.

You wish to obtain the Jiujie Sword as well?

Hahaha.

The Jiujie Sword is none of our concern.

We just want you dead.

However, obtaining the five shards

is a pleasant surprise.

Chu Yang,

you've slain countless people to gather the Jiujie Sword's shards.

In the end, you became a loner.

And now, there's no one here to help you out.

You brought everything upon yourself.

Stop.

Mo Tianji Young Master of the Mo family from Middle Three Realms

Tianji?

I'm their target.

Hero Mo,

what do you mean by this?

So, it was you all along?

You were the mastermind all along.

Mo Tianji!

Chu Yang,

you're the wielder of the Jiujie Sword.

However, I never expected you to be this foolish.

I will be honest with you.

We found out that you were gathering the shards of the Jiujie Sword at Storm Arena,

all thanks to Hero Mo.

Hahaha!

Tianji.

Mo Tianji!

Back then, you broke your sword and left without bidding farewell.

Now that we've reunited, and you're trying to hunt me down.

Why?

Why?

It's all thanks to you.

You still have the audacity to ask me why

at this juncture?

Is this stupid sword

that important to you?

Mo Tianji,

I can forgive the other crooks.

I thought of you as my true friend.

However, you betrayed me

because of the Jiujie Sword.

Even now, you still intend to defend the Jiujie Sword?

You're hopeless.

You're beyond redemption.

Chu Yang, prepare to die!

You don't deserve the Jiujie Sword!

All of you desire the Jiujie Sword.

However, you guys

will never get your hands on it.

Why are you guys still standing there?

Stop him!

Jiujie Sword,

with my life and blood,

all tribulations will be annihilated.

As the wielder of the Jiujie Sword,

I will upend the universe!

The nine tribulations have been turned into nothingness,

yet life and death are still handled with ease.

There's no need to wait for the next life

when you can mend your mistake right now.

Qingwu.

I truly know my fault now.

I've let you down.

If the afterlife does exist,

I will never let you down again.

Ha!

Tan Tan?

I've consumed three bowls of special porridge

in order to defeat you!

Don't you think I'm stronger now?

The swordsman talks muscles!

Chu Yang, what do you think?

This is

the Tan Style Ultimate Technique that I developed.

It'll become the ultimate technique of Tianwai Pavilion in the future!

Sparring Arena Back Hill of Zizhu Garden

Chu Yang?

Chu Yang?

Why did he disappear?

Chu Yang?

Don't tell me I actually created a miracle.

Chu Yang?

Chu Yang!

Where have you gone to?

My good senior,

come out!

Don't scare me!

I promise I'll stop stealing your food!

Chu Yang!

I was betrayed by others when I was alive.

Now that I'm dead, I still can't enjoy peace.

However, that blow

felt so real.

Strange.

Why do I feel cold and numb?

Frost Silver Needles?

Chu Yang!

Chu Yang!

Talk to me!

Are you unwell?

Don't scare me!

I...

Look at how handsome I am!

But I'm frowning because of you!

Oh no.

I must've hit him too hard just now.

What should I do now?

Chu Yang.

Chu Yang,

don't mind me, okay?

I'll do a rescue breathing on you.

Get away

from me!

Don't tell me your brain was affected after that blow.

You were fine after receiving so many blows from them.

Why am I facing the consequences even though I only hit you once?

I know I'm gifted,

but this is too unfair.

Tan Tan, you do live up to your name

as the noisiest person in the world.

Chu Yang?

People say one will encounter

individuals important to them again before their deaths.

Where's Qingwu?

I'm sure Qingwu is around.

This is truly unexpected.

I'm already super strong

right now!

I wonder if Master will select me

for the martial arts competition?

What martial arts competition?

The upcoming Intrasect Tournament.

This is what I looked like when I was 16.

I'm still alive?

Zizhu Garden?

The back hill?

The Sparring Arena?

Tan Tan!

It's really you!

Huh?

Did you become retarded after receiving that blow?

Don't worry.

I swear on my handsome face

that I will take care of you.

I'll bear the responsibility.

This is unexpected indeed.

I actually returned to the time when the three sects held the Intrasect Tournament

after my heart was pierced by the Jiujie Sword.

My body, which was seriously wounded,

is completely fine now.

That vision

seemed like

the Jiujie Sword.

What exactly is going on?

Tan Tan, Chu Yang,

what's with the ruckus?

You guys are scaring the other members of Zizhu Garden away, you know?
