(Episode 12: A narrow escape)

(Fictional anime set in a fantasy world. Parental guidance for underage viewers.)

I had too many things to deal with

and was so busy.

I couldn’t spare time to visit you back when you’re injured.

Luckily you were blessed as usual

and got through this safely.

I can now be relieved.

Thank you for your kindness, sir.

I can’t appreciate you more.

Too bad I was injured earlier,

And failed to be there for Senior Jiang when he needed me,

which leaded to his death.

I’d like to invite you to help the Seven Family Alliance

to take an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

That’ll be my honor

to avenge Senior Jiang.

I’ll do whatever you ask.

Good.

That’s all I need to hear.

To avenge Yan,

we’ll first have to eliminate the contacts of Hong Fortress inside Feiye City.

Now that Yonghe Escort Agency is down, it can no longer reach out for the Hong Fortress,

and the Guan family is our next target.

In terms of the Jiang family, one of Three Great Families,

if they want to stay neutral,

they need to have something else apart from the guts.

I heard that you and Jiang Su are quite close.

You might as well stay away from her,

in case Hong Fortress take advantage of your relationship.

Understood.

(Of the greatest righteousness)

Ye, it’s time.

We may never come back ever again this time.

Come on, let’s go, words came that

the Shield Team has gone rogue.

We have to leave before it’s too late.

(Of the greatest righteousness)

The true kindness only comes after one has fulfilled all his obligations.

We the Guan family can only hope for the best now, I guess.

For the sake of our safety,

dad has sent one more Poison Team to get us.

Even if the Seven Family Alliance really comes to intercept,

they’ll have to consider the high stakes.

Young master, my lady,

everything is ready.

Okay.

Let’s go.

Go.

The Guan family has set off.

Take all their poisons and poisonous nets,

and kill them all.

Thanks to your company during those difficult times,

I wouldn’t have made it without you.

This is for your kindness.

After Shaojiu left

I can hardly find someone to dine with

Having ordered so much exotic beast meat

I shall be able to fill the Realm Breaking Bead to its fullest

I also get to test how its absorption varies with different exotic beast meat

Well,

I was going to invite you to dinner anyway,

for I want to ask for your help.

Sure.

I heard that the Seven Family Alliance wants to do harm to the Guan family.

As you can see,

Guan Ye is Junior Cheng’s fiancée.

Although Junior Cheng isn’t around lately,

we are all under the same master,

we shouldn’t just sit and watch Guan Ye suffer.

Junior Xiao,

you are close with the Seven Family Alliance.

Could you go and talk them through,

so that they will cut some slacks and take it easy on the Guan family?

Since you ask,

I’ll definitely help.

But I’m afraid it’s too late,

the Guan family is probably all dead by now.

The Seven Family Alliance has engineered the defection of the Shield Team.

They’re about to eliminate the Guan family tonight.

What’s more,

the Seven Family Alliance also prepared to

attack your family, the Jiang family.

What?

They think that all three families are in league with the Hong Fortress,

so the Seven Family Alliance decides to wipe out all of you.

It’s totally nonsense.

But that’s what the Seven Family Alliance believes.

Well, the master of the alliance also said that,

if I marry you,

he’ll trust the Jiang family

and leave your family alone.

Junior Xiao...

You...

By the way, I forgot to tell you,

It not just some ordinary wine I let you drink.

What…what’s in it?

Something to turn you on, of course.

Won’t you sacrifice yourself for the Jiang family?

I’m not the type of person you think I am.

I won’t do this.

You think you can threaten the Jiang family like this?

You bastard!

Well, that’s not for you to decide.

You sneaky bastard!

Finally, the Realm Breaking Bead is full.

The absorption rate of each kind of exotic beast meat is clear as well.

Back off!

Don’t worry,

I’ll take you home.

No…no.

What are you doing?

Junior Wei...

What happened, Senior Xiao?

I was having a couple of drinks with Senior Jiang,

but she got drunk.

I’m about to take her home.

I’m not drunk.

I was drugged…in the wine…

You see, it’s the alcohol speaking.

Senior Jiang,

let me take you back to the Jiang Residence immediately.

No no I’m not drunk.

Senior Xiao,

she said

she doesn’t want to come with you.

Junior Wei,

It’s none of your business.

Okay then,

she’s all yours.

Take good care of her.

You’re just a Double Qi Blood,

but I am at the peak of Double Qi Blood.

Junior Wei.

This bastard is too strong

I need to make a breakthrough to the Triple Blood of Huishan Fist

Break it

Die.

Triple Qi Blood.

I can’t believe it

I have been stuck in Double Blood for so long

and he just had a breakthrough this easy

No wonder Master Zheng thinks highly of him

Junior Wei,

I won’t forget

what happened tonight.

Senior Jiang,

are you alright?

I just wanted to

ask Xiao Ran to speak up for the Guan family.

But this bastard…

What happened to the Guan family?

Seven Family Alliance...

the Seven Family Alliance attacked it.

Junior Wei,

I feel so cold,

I’m so cold, please hold me.

So cold, please hold me.

Come on.

Junior Wei,

I…

Let Ying look after her

then go to see how things go in the Guan family

Hurry!

Don’t let those two brats from the Guan family escape.

They went that way.

Go.

Keep running if you can.

Why do you stop?

You traitors,

I’ll kill you!

Save it, young master.

If you surrender,

I’ll keep you alive.

Brother,

don’t trust them.

As the member of the Guan family,

we fight till the end.

Hahaha.

That’s right.

We’re not like those traitors.

If we’re going to die,

we take them with us.

Well, let’s see,

if you can live up to your words.

Kill them.

Who is it?

Simple tricks.

I have prepared for these.

Why are there so many ashes?

Where do the ashes come from?

That

aren’t

ashes.

They are poisons.

Now,

do you still think it’s just a simple trick?

I use the Guan family's poison against its shield,

too bad you didn’t see that coming.

Guan Ye,

are you alright?

It’s me,

Wei He.

Why are you here?

I heard from Senior Jiang that you might be in trouble,

so I came to help.

Like I’ve said before,

whenever the Guan family needs help,

I’m sure to come and help.

Mr. Cheng was right.

You’re a true friend indeed.

But right now we’re heading to Taizhou.

You are not going to the Capital to meet Shaojiu?

No, not now.

My dad has laid the foundation of our family there in Taizhou.

We need to go and join him with the revitalization of our family.

Take care on your journey.

We will.

I took years to figure that out these measures of

identifying poisons on different exotic beast meat.

Here, take it.

This is too much.

It’s just a little gift.

It’s priceless.

Thank you so much.

Let’s go, brother.

The Guan family's poison team

seems to be stronger than we thought.

Almost everyone in the Shield Team is killed.

This team has betrayed the Guan family anyway.

They fight,

and we can benefit fro it.

Have you found Guan Qing and Guan Ye yet?

No, but

we found the body of Chen Jun the half blade

in that forest ahead of us.

Chen Jun is a well-known Triple Blood,

and he hated the Guan family the most.

For all these years he has planned for the revenge,

he was still taken down by the Guan family's poison team.

It’s true that the poison killed him.

But from my observation,

his shield was destroyed by a single blow.

It seems that we have another Triple Blood guy present last night.

Maybe he was the main cause of Chen Jun’s failure.

And from the way that Triple Blood guy took his swing,

He might have used

the Huishan Fist.

A Triple Blood using Huishan Fist…
