The vicissitudes between life and death

is said to the child

The universe is uncertain

Go to the mountains and rivers together

Predestined success or failure to seize power

In the desolate sea of clouds, there is a sense of compassion

there's you, there's me

to seal and judge this good and evil

Moonlight pouring into the city, three trunks of karma fire

Heretical evil demons will be frightened when they see me

Treading on this difficult and dangerous thought of fortune and misfortune

No matter the wind or rain, we will make a soul contract

Reincarnation changes again and again, warnings are like blood

It has resounded in other worlds for ten thousand years and will never end

I've traveled all over the wilderness, but I've intruded into the another world

The myths of the ages linger around

Murmurs that remains unchanged for years

Doting everything alone, a single deep glance is forever

The Charm of Soul Pets

Remember to follow

Episode Twelve

Has the Nomination Tournament began yet? T/N: Webnovel translation has it as "Competition of the Recommendation"

Let’s go and have take look

What's so good about the preliminary round?

This you are not aware of

This year's preliminary round has one of the four major families attending, the Chu Family

Then I better take a closer look

Chu family will swap a person

Chu Xing will step down

Chu Mu will step up

against Liu's family's last contestant Liu Ying Liu family's young expert Gang

Liu Ying

Chu Mu

That's the one who lost his soul, the fourth master of the Chu family

Isn't he dead already?

So.. So quick!

I've already said earlier

my fourth brother is stronger than anyone else now

The Chu family is the Chu family after all

In the end it's still up to the four major families

Zhou family defeated, Chu family wins

In four days time

the Chu family and the Yang family will enter the final round here

Chu family was undefeated

This strength of Chu Mu who came back from the dead is too terrifying!

From the preliminary round to the semi-finals and then to the finals

he's been on a winning streak

Good performance, fourth brother

You won beautifully

A joyous win T/N: tòng kuài means means to one's heart's content or a happy, joyous moment. It can be used for being quick and painless when used in killing someone. It's literal translation means painfully fast

With Chu Mu's current strength

and the Yang family's final match

we have a good chance of winning

Yes! That's right!

Drop the word "possible"

when the time comes, my Chu family

will win

Good!

Very good!

Mu'er

You have completely freed yourself of the shadows and shackles of your past

becoming a powerful soul pet master

If Tiancheng knows about all this

tears will well up his eyes T/N: Rè Lèi Yíng Kuàng - Tears filling the eyes, a Chinese idiom meaning that the eyes are filled with tears due to emotional excitement, extreme emotion or great sadness

Come, come come!

Drink!

Come, come come. Drink!

Come! Again, again!

Tonight's moon is beautiful

Father

I hope you can see as well T/N: Chu Mu actually says "sees everything as well", so he could be hoping his father can see whatever he is doing and is proud of him

Young Master, the orders have been delivered

On the day of the finals match with the Yang family

You will act together with them

I'm counting on you

Understood

Father

I will reclaim back the honor for the family

and also allow Chu family

to rise again

Four days later

The Chu and Yang family have always been like fire and water T/N: Water and fire are two opposite things and are not compatible at all

Today's final match

should be exploding with fireworks

with blood staining the battlefield!

The Chu family has Chu Mu's strong comeback

even his main soul pet hasn't made an appearance

This year the Chu family has a chance

This year the Chu family has a chance Chu Ge Chu Mu's grandfather Gangluo City's Chu family's head Yang Kuo Gangluo City's Yang family's head

Chu Ge Chu Mu's grandfather Gangluo City's Chu family's head Yang Kuo Gangluo City's Yang family's head

That's not necessarily certain

I heard the Yang family has invited a mysterious contestant

I heard the Yang family has invited a mysterious contestant Yang Luobin Yang family's eldest grandson Gangluo City

that's has yet take action

The entire Yang family treats him with the upmost respect

The entire Yang family treats him with the upmost respect Yang Luosen Yang Luobin's elder brother Nightmare Palace's young expert T/N: It is a custom to refer to paternal cousins as brothers

Yang Luosen Yang Luobin's elder brother Nightmare Palace's young expert T/N: It is a custom to refer to paternal cousins as brothers

Nomination final selection

The first round

Chu family's Chu Mu

will fight against

Yang family's Yang Zhiren

Yang family's Yang Zhiren Yang Zhiren Yang family member

Yang Zhiren Yang family member

Letting Zhiren fight against Chu Mu

isn't that the same as sending him to die?

Your Yang family, apart from Luobin

their life and death

what does it have anything to do with me?

You!

The long-standing feud between the Chu and Yang families

should end now

Luobin

Why are you and this

person that the Yang family can't afford to offend, incurred such a resentment?

I don't understand your meaning

That guy was a useless pile of trash four years ago

Yang Luobin!

Come up to the field

Haven't you always

wanted me to die?

Originally

I, Yang Luosen, didn't want to disturb your mood T/N: Luosen addressed Chu Mu using Gé Xià, it is a polite and respectful way of addressing someone, similar to "your distinguished self"

but I have no choice

since you want to kill

my worthless younger brother

Luo Domain Nightmare Young Master

Yang Luosen

That's me

Old Lin

Luo Domain Nightmare Young Master is Luo Domain's city's favourite to win the championship

This kind of strong expert

appearing in the Gangluo City Nomination Tournament

is not appropriate

Nightmare Young Master Yang

A small, small Gangluo City's Nomination Tournament

with your status is really not suitable

No appropriate?

Then this Prison Island King, the Eternal Ocean Nightmare Young Master

is appropriate?

Eternal Ocean Nightmare Young Master?

Fourth Brother is that Nightmare Palace's strong expert

Eternal Ocean Nightmare Young Master?

Speaking of these four years

Chu Mu always spoke little of it

So he's the one who's behind all this

Old Lin!

Our life and death battle

you can be a witness

to see in the entire Luo Domain

who is the strongest

This...

Just witness

I want to kill

he wants to die

it's perfect

Luo Domain Nightmare Young Master versues Eternal Ocean Young Master

Heavens!

In my lifetime, this is a rare sight to behold!

Just a moment!

I heard Eternal Ocean Young master lost a soul

In the interest of fairness

how about we do a single control fight?

Limiting to rotating four soul pets

How about it?

It doesn't matter

Since both Nightmare Young Masters insists on fighting

a life and death match

then please summon your first soul pet to fight!

Ice Air Fairy versue Black Crystal Ice Fairy! T/N: Xuán means black or myserious

This Black Crystal Ice Fairy

compared with Chu family's young master's one

is an entire grade higher

Black Crystal Meteor Peak!

It's a Demon Tree Warrior

Fourth brother swapped to a Demon Tree Warrior

Pet Charm!

Ice Armor!

Demon Wood Wild Python!

Demon Wood Piercing Through!

Demon Wood Chain!

This Demon Tree Warrior

has actually reached the level where it can release three skills at the same time

Mental Sword!

Flame Wave!

Mu'er

you cannot recall your soul pet

otherwise, the Demon Flame flames will burn you

You're going to die!

Chu Mu, you stupid bastard!

Just wait to be burned alive by the Demon Flame!

Strange...

He looks

fine

I don't see him using any skills or potions for defense

That white Demon Flame

is

White Nightmare?

The world's most evil and terrifying, White Nightmare!

Return!

Elder Brother!

Why did you recall the Blue Nightmare?

Quickly burn him to death!

Silly little brother

I don't want my Blue Nightmare turn into food

Rumor has it, in a fight

the White Nightmare in his body

devoured Tian Ji's Blue Nightmare

Your reaction was very quick

This light-attributed Bristled Lion

is perfect beast to surpress fourth brother's Night of Thunderdream Beast

This...

Did fourth brother summon the wrong soul pet?

Looks like Chu Mu doesn't have any more soul pets to summon

This trash Ink Beast

I'm afraid that it won't even be able to block a single attack from the Bristled Lion

This Ink Beast looks familiar

Chu Mu!

You really make me laugh to death

The Ink Beast of yours

isn't it the trash I threw away more than a year ago?

Abandoned pet?

This Ink Beast was actually Yang Luobin's abandoned pet?

Zhan Ye

It looks like today's stage is set for you

Let that dumbass know

that abandoning you is the dumbest thing he ever did

Wild Blood Pupil!

Blood... Wild Blood Pupil!

Grandfather!

Isn't his our Yang family’s ultimate skill?

Chu Mu brat is so outrageous!

He dare to use my Yang family's ultimate skill to attack my Yang family member! T/N: He considers it an insult to use their ultimate skills since he believes Chu Mu stole the skills and is flaunting in front of them

I am so angry!

You actually used the precious Wild Blood Pupil

and infused it onto this fifth stage, first level Mo Ye

that's rather implusive

Light Scorch!

Ink Armor Thorn!

Trample!

Light Scorch Crushing Claw!

Brother Chu Mu, quickly change soul pet!

If this continues, the Ink Beast will be killed

Ink Beast is a proud creature

It rather fight to the death and it won't retreat

Kill it!

Excellent!

You broke his grade 6 Soul Armor!

Continue!

How could that have happened?

Where are the Ink Beast's previous injuries?

The soul pet must have been swapped

This seems to be a unique insect type skill

Broken Limbs Regeneration! {fad(600,600)}T/N: It is literally Broken Limb Rebirth, but it since it isn't dying and resurrecting, I used Broken Limb Regeneration instead

Broken Limbs Regeneration Unique Insect skill, as long as the heart, skull and vital organs are not destroyedIt can heal itself and regain its combat strength

Then kill it again!

Bristled Lion Sword Light!

Continue!

Zhan Ye!

Regenerate!

With Broken Limb Regeneration

this Ink Beast has become an undying war god

Too overpowering T/N: They said "too perverted"

Damn it!

If only I knew that this Ink Beast

is able to comprehend this overpowering skill, Broken Limb Regeneration

even if you kill me I wouldn't have cancelled the soul contract!

Annoying insect!

This should end now!

Heavenly Flame Rites!

Zhan Ye

I understand your determination now

Broken Limb Regeneration

is indeed overpowering

A pity

there's more no opportunity for further nurturing

Zhan Ye

Stand back up again!

Broken Limb Regeneration!

What?

It actually has a third use of Broken Limb Regeneration!

It's time to seize what belongs to you, the glory of victory!

Zhan Ye!

Uninhibited attack again! T/N: Diē Dàng describes things that are changeable and unstable or that they are full of change and have setbacks. It is used to say "Be bold and unconstrained in dealing with others"

To be able to make me summon this soul pet

You are indeed much more stronger than Tian Ji

Zhan Ye

Just return

You have already proven in front of everyone

Leave the rest

to Mo Ye

This Ghost Winged White Bone Blood Demon

It is a hybrid of a ghost type blood demon and a blood beast type beast

It's extremely vicious

No wonder Chu Mu is so calm

Turns out this six tailed

can actually rival a commander rank, an Evil Flame Six-Tailed Demon Fox

I should thank you

for giving Zhan Ye an opportunity to cleanse away its disgrace

In returning this gift

I will quickly finish off everything

You!

Don't be too arrogant!

Blood Demon Seal!

Seal Break!

How can this be?

Flame Attachment!

No!

This cannot be!

If elder brother loses

then I will be next

No way!

Chu Mu cannot be allowed to win!

Mo Ye!

End its suffering

No

No

How did I end being defeated like this?

Nightmare Young Master Chu!

Are you serious about killing me?

Aren't you afraid of Lord Xia's punishment?

When I, Chu Mu's take action

needn't ask Xia Guanghan for permission

However you have reminded me of one thing

My objective isn't you

It's Yang Luobin

Fourth brother! Mu'er! Brother Chu Mu!

Go to hell!

Chu Mu

You should have died already!

With your ability T/N: This line is often used as "just you", "just relying on yourself?" It is essentially telling someone who overestimates themselves

you want to sneak attack me?

Digging your own grave

Chu Mu brat!

I

I'm going to kill you!

Old bastard Yang Kuo! TN: He actaully calls him an old bandit/robber/thief

If you dare to touch my grandson even a single hair

This old man won't mind

the Chu and Yang families fighting to the death

Elder Yang T/N: Lǎo Yé Zi is a respectful title for elderly men, Chu Mu is addressing him with a respectful honorific

Are you sure you want to turn this place into a bloodbath?

Why not go have a look at your own residence T/N: Zhái Yuàn is a house or mansion with courtyards

You...

What are you getting at?

Something bad has happened!

Something bad has happened!

Everyone!

Quickly follow me and return to the manor

Reporting to Young Master

Everything according to your orders

has been all taken care of

Grandfather

Gangluo City is no longer safe

No

Luo Domain

including all the locations near the Nightmare Palace

is no longer safe

I

You do not need to speak anymore

Child

My Chu family is here in Gangluo City

has already been in the midst of a storm

Grandfather knows that you have already made plans

We'll listen to you

Don't worry, Third Brother

as long as Chu family is not threatened by the Yang family and Xia Guanghan

I will escape from Nightmare Palace by myself

It's not too difficult

Good!

Then we'll rebuild Chu family in the Southern Domain

and wait for you

Ruining the Yang family

Killing Yang Luosen

It is the same as declaring war on Xia Guanghan and Nightmare Palace

Ting Yu

After you escort the Chu family to the south

you don't have to return

What?

Young Master, you...

This will be your last mission

afterwards

you should leave Nightmare Palace

regain your freedom

Go now

Thank you very much, Young Master

Ting Yu

accepts the order

The matter of Yang family is not worth worrying about

but Mo Ye could transform again at any time

at that time

the successive matter of transformation and hibernating dragon egg

I'm afraid won't escape Xia Guanghan's eyes

Damn it!

Person's gone, the house is empty T/N: It means that the person has left and the building is empty, which is a metaphor for the feeling of missing someone when seeing the things in an old place again

How am I going to complete my task?

Unforgettable first encounter

With clear eyes

No end in sight

I just want to stay with you

Watching the flowers fall together

Facing the moon in the sky

The waves of smoke are like a dream

Laughing at gold and steel horses

surging like a wave

indifferent as the wind

An old saying about a stranger's path the flowers blossom and return

The moonlight and the swaying of the hands, together we gather then dispersing

The wasted years fly close to a thousand turns

The boundless fallen trees sigh with the flowing water
