Now we paired these two because there is obvious chemistry

between both of these acts.

and my worst fear was just coming back,

just because the competition has ramped up so much.

‐ For this routine, we had these big straps.

We're connected to one another throughout the entire routine.

‐ We wanted to show that we're brave enough

to take a lot of risks.

That was awesome.

You guys are both such strong dancers.

I'd love to see more side by side.

The most side by side we got was the double with the jump,

but y'all are so strong, that, like,

a nice side by side section of choreography would‐‐

it would be super impactful.

The rest of it was so impressive.

There was a move you did where you weren't, like, on your toe,

and you weren't on the ball of your foot.

You were on, like, the opposite side of the ball of your foot.

‐ Like the... ‐ Yeah, that thing.

‐ And it was, like, what is she doing there?

you're not necessarily doing stuff that's great

and I think that's what I love

the most about this performance.

and every stop is very much that,

and yours are just slightly softer.

Like, next to him, it really sticks out.

so innovative using the prop‐‐ terrified.

My butt was clenched at the beginning.

"They're not gonna attach to each other, are they?

Oh, God, what's gonna happen?" ‐ Oh.

Oh, but you guys, kudos to you, because you executed it

so amazingly. ‐ Yeah.

‐ That moment when you, like, threw it,

and it did a‐‐what, around her? ‐ Yeah.

‐ And you caught it in mid‐air. I was like, "Whoo!"

‐ That was sick. ‐ Yeah.

‐ That was slick. I loved it.

‐ Yeah, it was risky.

It was a risky routine.

I mean, attaching to each other and detaching

and all of what you were doing.

When you do stuff like that,

it forces you into a box

where you can't do as much as you normally could do, right?

Because now you're dealing with all of these things‐‐

having to untie it and tie it back by the right moment

and all that stuff,

and it puts you a tiny bit in your head,

but I think you pulled it off amazingly.

‐ Yeah. [cheers and applause]

‐ "Do I think you did all you could do

to beat these guys," is still a question.

‐ These are the moments that it becomes extremely difficult,

right, because in essence,

what we have is, like, two very different pieces of art

that we're judging in the medium of competition.

‐ Right. ‐ Right?

So if you walk away from anything with this,

both of you actually,

is that you're thinking about things that are going to pop,

the things that are gonna make us talk about you

at the water cooler, right?

Everybody that wears suspenders as a dancer now

is gonna be sitting in their seat like...

[laughter] You know what I mean?

Like, so great job with that, y'all.

it was risky,

it was just interesting,

and for me, in this round,

that's what sold me more,

so I'm gonna go with Josh and Erica.

We are known for our visual effects,

but because it's the fourth season of "World of Dance,"

it's important to really bring another layer to that,

and I want it to be a show.

and their shapes and movements.

I'm constantly engaged

and intrigued about what they're doing.

I love what this is,

but I'm anxious to see how much more you can do with this.

‐ We are street dancers.

We don't just do this.

For this round, we have to level up.

We wanted to come to "World of Dance"

to show American people our unique style.

So we take the Duels really seriously

because we want to have the chance

to perform on the main stage.

It's our dream.

I was looking for things to say bad things about,

and I could find nothing.

‐ You know, the first time we saw you,

we saw what you did,

and to be honest, I was like,

"How many times can you see that?"

You know what I mean?

And how many different things are you doing

just now in this routine? You did about 100 new things!

‐ Yeah, yeah. [laughter]

‐ Right. ‐ A 100 new things

that weren't in the first routine.

It was so much fun to watch,

and I really feel like everybody here's like,

"I could do that." Like, yo.

We're gonna try to go home and try to do it,

and it is probably one of the hardest things to do.

[laughter and cheering] It was surprising

and exciting and really great.

‐ Yeah, it's just surgical 'cause everything has to be

perfectly timed, perfectly together,

otherwise we lose the effect.

We've never had that on the show before,

you know, and groups, they have elements of this,

a moment of this,

but not an entire routine,

and it is the question, can that hold up in the show?

And you guys have proven it can.

‐ I'm just proud to be a dancer at this moment.

This is‐‐it's just like‐‐ this is so good.
