[Episode 34]

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by the Subbers of the Destiny @ Viki

You're just so-so.

Changsheng, you must have left Sacred Capital by now. Right?

I'm sorry. I can only do this much

for you now.

Yourong. Yourong, are you okay?

Where did you get this drop of blood from?

It was a gift from Changsheng when I was little.

This is Chen Changsheng's blood?

Yes.

At the time, I was dying because of my burring and out-of-control Phoenix blood.

It was he who used his own blood to save me life.

This drop of blood was also given by him to preserve my life.

May I ask how can this kind of person

be a spy of the Demon Clan?

I hope Your Majesty will investigate thoroughly.

- Your Majesty... \N - Shut up!

Your Majesty, consider that this was Yourong’s first mistake and she has always been loyal to you.

Please forgive her this time and let her go.

Xu Yourong, as a Saintess, you set a prisoner free \Nin private.

Take my order: Lock her in Heavenly Scrolls Tomb to meditate in remorseful mood.

- Mo Yu. \N - Here.

Have the High Priest come to the palace to see me.

Then what about Chen Changsheng?

Regarding him,

we will decide later.

Senior Brother, you must be really disappointed now?

Yourong, is this worth you doing this for him?

There is no worth or not regarding loving a person,

but willing or unwilling.

Changsheng, I have done it.

You are stronger than me, so you can definitely do it, too.

You'll surely conquer the endless darkness and wake up again.

Changsheng, you can definitely do it.

Where am I?

Why can't I see anything?

There is only me and the darkness here.

Who am I?

Why can't I remember?

Your Majesty, the High Priest has arrived.

I see.

You may leave.

Yes.

Greetings, Your Majesty. I wonder why I'm called here today.

Ying Xingdao, you always care about Chen Changsheng.

Do you know his background?

Background?

What Your Majesty means is?

His history. Who is his master?

Are his parents still alive?

I want to know everything about him.

I don't know what has happened.

But at this point, I will not hide it from Your Majesty.

I do know a little about Chen Changsheng.

Let's sit down and chat.

This kid Chen Changsheng

is actually Shang Xingzhou's disciple.

The former principal of Guojiao Academy, Shang Xingzhou?

That's right.

Senior Brother Shang adopted him many years ago,

but his meridians were doomed at that time.

He was destined not to make it to 20 years old.

But he has a strong mind that he wants to be against the natural law and change his destiny.

That's why he came to the capital to participate in the Grand Examination

to fight for the only chance of surviving.

But no one would expect it actually caused all these things to happen.

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Your Majesty always had a grudge over Guojiao Academy.

Shang Xingzhou also withdrew from this for years.

So, how dare I to bring this up to Your Majesty?

Your Majesty asked me this because...

Look at what this is.

Blood resonance.

The one can resonate with Your Majesty

can only be the Crown Prince.

He is really the Crown Prince?!

Has the long-lost Crown Prince been found?

That person is someone we are both really familiar with.

Are you talking about...

Changsheng?

Is Changsheng the Crown Prince?

Back then, I had believed Shang Xingzhou was Black Robe.

He was the one who stole the Crown Prince!

No matter what, my senior brother couldn't be Black Robe.

But no matter what, that old thief caused us to be separate for so many years.

No wonder I felt very intimate when I met him the first time.

It turns out that he is my poor child.

It's strange.

With your cultivation level, it's reasonable for you to be able to recognize the Crown Prince

according to the blood resonance when you face him.

Do you even have to ask?

It must be that treacherous man Shang Xingzhou hid Changsheng's blood with some herbs.

If it weren't for this blood of the little Changcheng,

I'm afraid I would still be blinded.

This can store many things.

I put everything you think you'll need, possibly need, and definitely need in there.

The most important thing in there is 10 Occult-Blood Pills.

In case you get injured and bleed, remember to take one.

It can hide the scent of your blood.

What's most important is that for each one you take, you'll have one less overall.

All right? You have to be careful.

I will.

Descend the mountain.

That makes sense.

Congratulations, Your Majesty. You finally found the Crown Prince.

I think it won't take long before you and he will be united.

It's easier to say than do.

Changsheng has lost all six senses, becoming a living dead.

Furthermore, with the accusation of being a spy of the Demon Clan,

even if he wakes up, I don't know how much he will hate me.

Your Majesty doesn't still think Changsheng is a spy of the Demon Clan, right?

That is really hard to say.

The Demon Clan is crafty and sinister with endless morphoses.

It is really hard to forestall.

It's also likely that they've known Changsheng was the Crown Prince.

They also plan to take control of Zhou Empire through him.

If that is the case, the result will be very terrifying.

Is that... possible?

This situation matters greatly. I have to stay on guard.

No matter what, we can only learn the truth after Changsheng is awake.

Do you plan on saving Changsheng yourself?

Even if I want to save him, I cannot do it now

because he has been rescued and taken away by someone.

Rescued and taken away? Who could have that kind of strategy?

Who else is there?

Xu Yourong, Bai Luoheng, and those lads of the Guojiao Academy.

With his leaving, I'm afraid that Changsheng will end up at the Beast Clan.

It'll all depend on Emperor Bai.

Luo Luo, you're right.

He is not someone who will easily give up.

Teacher, do you see? We all believe in you.

So let's all work hard together, okay?

Okay, Teacher?

How long has it been?

I can't tell if the time here is passing at all.

There is only inexhaustible and endless darkness.

I'm very lonely for being alone.

Right. I seem to hear someone calling me.

The voice is really affectionate.

Teacher. Teacher?

Teacher.

Teacher? Who is calling me teacher?

Teacher? That seems to remind me of something.

I can move?

What is this place?

And who am I?

Why is there no one here?

[Guojiao Academy]

Where does this door go?

This path? I seemed to have walked on it before.

You fool! You clearly knew that Qiushan made you to kill for him.

Why would you be fooled?

Did you think that Her Majesty would spare you

if you only make Chen Changsheng an idiot by poisoning him?

You're just daydreaming!

Father, I was just...

Look at your condition now!

Not only did you fail to poison him, you've even made yourself a joke!

You've completely destroyed the dignity of the Tianhai family.

Hurry... hurry and sit down!

You!

I just wanted to get revenge for myself.

and also to help our Tianhai family to get rid of this troublemaker.

Who'd know...

Who'd know that Bai Luoheng had the nerve to break into jail and rescue him?

What a joke!

Chen Changsheng is just a wild bastard with no background.

He only won the High Priest's favor. How could he be a threat at all?

Even if he has become the principal of Guojiao Academy,

he is only a puppet of the High Priest.

Come. Come. Let me see.

Head of Household, there is a message from the palace.

What's the hurry?!

Really?

It is absolutely true.

I didn't expect Ya'er's words would come true?!

That lad Chen Chengsheng does become a threat to us Tianhais!

What did I tell you?!

Then, where is Bai Luoheng heading now?

It is said that she is heading the southwest.

It must be the Beast Clan.

If she's going to the Beast Clan, then passing the Eight-Hundred-Mile Grass Ocean is a must.

- Ya'er, you must immediately take some men to stop Bai Luoheng at the Eight-Hundred-Mile Grass Ocean. \N - Okay.

You must not let Chen Changsheng reach the Beast Clan alive!

I really didn't expect... after so many years of searching...

I really didn't expect that the Crown Prince of the Zhou Empire is right in front of our eyes.

Quickly go!

I'm going right now. I'm going right now.

You also have the moment of being listless, don't you?

If it were you who had fought with Qiushan Jun and Her Majesty one by one,

and got locked in here, and sealed your cultivation,

you would be a hundred times more miserable than me. Right?

Her Majesty has shown you enough mercy.

This Heavenly Scrolls Tomb space is actually your Saintess Peak.

Her not making this space a hell

is already pretty good.

Stop playing around.

Playing around? Exactly who is playing!

Yourong, you broke into the jail, fought with Qiushan Jun, and challenged Her Majesty.

Do you think you're the omnipotent dragon?

Are you done?

No!

You tell me. You wanted to fight with Qiushan Jun, fine.

That dragon is actually no good.

Her Majesty? How could you even fight with Her Majesty?

Did you think that your Phoenix blood would make you invincible?

What if you got hurt?

Mo Yu, I know you care about me.

Who cares about you?

This time you just got lucky.

It just happened that Chen Changsheng's mysterious background is revealed.

But I really didn't expect that he was actually the long-lost Crown Prince.

It's really so. Do you also believe it?

He and Her Majesty have blood resonance.

If I can't see that, I'd kill myself.

That said, you have such great taste.

You had fallen in love with him when he was down.

Later when he becomes the King, you will be the next Empress.

Why did you talk about that? I have never thought about it.

Don't forget that he's still trapped in his cocoon, being secluded from this world.

No one knows if he will wake up again.

Oh, right. Did you bring the thing I wanted?

Yes. Just an old furnace.

I had to go to Guajiao Academy to fetch it.

Who's an old furnace? I'm Zhou Dufu's private pill furnace!

My value is a thousand times more than a normal furnace! No, ten thousand times!

I'm the popular idol of all pill furnaces.

Do you have the knowledge? Do you have a brain?

Who has no brain? I like to see if you have a brain or not.

- Stop hitting! \N - Do you have a brain?

- It's me with no brain. It's me with no brain. \N - No brain? You get one now.

I have a brain. I have a brain.

You have a brain? I haven't seen what the brain of a furnace looks like.

Let me open it and take a look, okay?

Stop, stop! It hurts!

Sister Xu. Sister Xu, help me!

Enough, he's still a kid.

You're already old. You've been around several hundreds years. Are you still a kid?

Stop pretending!

Enough, enough. I'll stop here.

I'll leave first. Take care, my future Empress.

You take care, too.

That evil women is gone. I was so frightened.

You asked her to bring me here. It's not that you want to make another pill, is it?

That's right. I want you to make me Cultivation Pills.

Cultivation Pills? The kind you made on the Pill Furnace Peak?

Yes. Can you?

Yes, I can.

But... did you forget?

It needs a lot of Phoenix blood. You almost died last time.

Because that was my first time.

Now that the origin pill is done, the rest won't be that hard.

That's true.

But... you'll need to find the herbs yourself.

Don't worry. I'll ask Mo Yu to prepare it.

That evil women?

Can we change to someone else?

No.

That...

Actually, I have some herbs stored in my belly from the past.

That should be enough for now.

It's getting late. We shall begin now.

Changsheng, I'm not sure if these pills will help or not.

But this is the only thing I can do for you right now.

I will not disappoint you.

So, you can't disappoint me, either. Okay?

Because of you, I sacrificed my own child.

And also because of you,

I almost... killed this child.

Again, because of you, I believed he was a spy of the Demon Clan.

Tell me. To what extent do I have to do that will be enough for you?

What?

Do I... Do I have to sacrifice my child entirely

to satisfy you and make you happy?

Only then will you completely obey me, right?

You're right.

Nothing comes without a price.

You're the same.

And Changsheng... is the price I have to pay.

Are you sure Bai Luoheng will pass through here?

The noon is in the midday. Gold fights with water.

- Venus is at North. \N - What?

Mystery Star fights with Venus Star.

Relax, they definitely will go through here.

Okay, that's good.

But... they're all master-hands on the Qingyun standings.

Can you defeat them by yourself?

If it were not at this place, it'll be hard to say.

But in this Grass Ocean,

it's the perfect battlefield to kill them.

My instinct tells me this should be a safe path.

No good. Instinct?

Your Highness, how about we go around this?

We can't go around the Grass Ocean.

There's no place to hide here.

If we really are spotted, we can only fight them back.

Let's go.

Where are they?

Hold on.

They seem to know we're here. Interesting.

I told you that they're not easy to deal with.

Are you sure about this?

Everything grows. Grass Soldiers rise!

So many people? Nice.

Go! Kill them.

Go!

These grass people seem a bit clumsy. Will it work?

This is the Grass Ocean. Sir Ya'er, don't worry.

They are invincible here.

Invincible?

Wait.

- What... What is that? \N - We'll know when they get here.

Luo Luo, get the Invisibility Cloak and protect Changsheng.

You all must be careful.

Sir Ya'er, please take a look.

What am I looking at?

The battlefield.

You guys are so weak!

Come on, you're a pursuing force, not straw men.

Hang on. You guys are actually straw men.

But no matter what, can't you be a bit more stronger?

I was just joking!

If those straw men can keep them busy,

they'll eventually tire themselves out.

You're right, Sir Ya'er. These straw soldiers do not feel tired.

As time passes, they'll surely die here.

These people are just some little clowns.

Everything is under Sir Ya'er's control.

Let's see how you can escape this time.

You're too weak!

I'm just kidding.

I'm here!

They're running. Chase after them!

It doesn't seem like we can kill them!

Right, Her Highness' Interspatial Bugs have been used up.

How about setting them all on fire?

Burn yourself!

The Grass Ocean is the Beast Clan's sacred place.

The whole land is full of senses.

Setting a fire here, aren't you afraid of being eaten alive by the God of Grass Ocean?

God of Grass Ocean?

Are you stupid? We can't keep doing this.

Let's draw the pursuing force away quickly.

Reveal!

What? Princess Luo Luo, do you think you can fool me with your small tricks?

Cut the crap!

All things grow. Grass soldiers arise!

Changsheng, do you miss your family?

Senior Brother Yuren?

No. These are not real.

These are just my memories deep down.

I want to know who I am.

I want to... go back to the place I was born.

Where is this place?

It's so familiar...

Powerful. Magnificent.

Silent. Eternal.

This is... the force of the stars!

Changsheng!

Chen Changsheng.

Chen Changsheng.

Changsheng!

I understand.

Time... is my past, present and future.

Meeting all of you is my past.

Being with you is my future.

My present now is to fight with you.

Hit their under-waist part.

Teacher! You've recovered!

Watch your back!

Sense Sword!

What happened? They suddenly disappeared.

Am I that charming?

Charming? We should quickly run.

When they see how charming you are, we'll be in trouble.

What do you mean by that?

- I... \N - Hurry and run. Things might explode in a minute.

And what do you mean by that?

Stop! Say it clearly!

What happened?

Young Master, that Taoist might be killed.

What shall we do now?

Without him, can you few defeat them?

We can't. But we can surrender!

Right, Young Master?

You useless junk, get lost!

Once they reach the Beast Clan, they'll be at Bai Luoheng's place.

It looks like that we have to give it up.

- Let's head back. \N - Yes.

Actually now we- Hey!

Wait for me! Wait for me!

Teacher! Teacher, you're recovered!

Only my spiritual sense is back.

I still have to be a useless man for a while.

Teacher...

Anyway, I'll be your burden for a few more days.

No! You're my teacher, how could you be my burden?

Really?

Teacher, you are my destiny star in this world.

Am I a destiny star?

But it seems this star might go out soon.

How could that be? The stars are the same as this world.

They are all eternal.

That's not possible. Stars also have a lifespan.

When there's birth, there will be death. Just that the stars live in the sky.

Compared to us, their existence is more lonely.

Teacher...

Teacher, my father's Leopard Squad is here.

We're safe now!

Greetings, Your Highness.

[Emperor Bai's City]

- Mother. \N - Luo Luo, come over here quickly.

- I'm back. \N - Let me take a good look of you.

Are you actually still able to smile?

Did you cause some big troubles again this time?

I didn't. It's just that my teacher was framed and locked in jail so I saved him.

Just?

Her Majesty has sent me a letter asking me to send Chen Changsheng back.

You tell me what I should do.

Of course, you shall ignore that.

Father cares about me, right?

You do know how to sweet talk me out.

Are you Chen Changsheng?

Changsheng greets Your Majesty.

How dare you close your eyes in front of me?

Aren't you being rude to me?

I'm sick and cannot show my manner.

I can only talk by my spiritual sense. Please forgive me.

Father, you obviously know that my teacher is sick.

He has lost all his five senses. Don't be hard on him.

Since you can sense the world by your spiritual sense, you're a talented person.

My teacher is amazing. He was number one in the Grand Examination.

It's just that he is sick now.

Father, can you take a look at him.

I can't...

I can't cure his illness.

Chen Changsheng's destiny is doomed.

His life is finite.

No one can cure him.

Besides, his nascent soul is a mess now and he lost all his five senses.

It's not something a human being can save.

But earlier, my teacher had lost all his six senses.

Now even his spiritual sense is able to be recovered.

Even he sees through the seventh sense, the time space, and regains his spiritual sense,

but his destiny remains the same.

Since his destiny cannot be altered, everything is still a waste.

Luo Luo, it's not that I don't want to help him.

I really am unable to.

It's impossible. You're Emperor Bai.

The whole Beast Clan listens to you. You must have some ways!

Luo Luo.

Luo Luo, don't say that.

Although His Majesty is Emperor Bai, he can't take care of everything.

You can't blame him.

Actually, you're just waiting for your death based on your condition.

If you want a quick end, I can help you.

- Father, you... \N - Thank you, Your Majesty.

Waiting to die is a life lesson we all have to learn.

I won't want to miss it.

Is that so? Then that's too bad.

Teacher, let's go. We won't ask for their help.

I can save you by myself.

Luo Luo!

Your Majesty, why did you do that?

It's for Luo Luo's good.

Pass my order.

Without my permission, the Princess is not allowed to leave the palace!

Yes.

Your father is right.

I'm just waiting to die.

Teacher, don't listen to his nonsense. My father just doesn't like you.

Don't worry. I'll surely find you a way.

You're out, Black Dragon.

You clearly are a little tiger, yet you like to brag.

Although I'm awake,

but I can't save him either.

Thank you for saving Luo Luo and the others, Black Dragon.

You don't need to thank me. Thank your dumb Phoenix.

By the way, if I guess it right, she is in big trouble now.

Yourong!

You can't continue. If this goes on, you'll drain out your blood.

It's okay. It's the last one.

This should be enough, right?

It's you.

Cultivation Pills?

I really didn't expect you, Junior Sister, being locked in the Heavenly Scrolls Tomb,

you'd still care to make pills for Chen Changsheng!

You two really love one another a lot.

- Give it back to me. \N - Tell me.

How much Phoenix blood have you exhausted in order to make these pills?

I've told you so many times. Why won't you listen?

This will lesson your cultivation and even your life!

Take a look of yourself now!

You're Xu Yourong, the Great Saintess,

honored by all people. But how about you now?

You actually were on your knees and draining your Phoenix blood

to refine pills for a dying lad?!

This is my choice.

You choice should be me!

Junior Sister! Junior Sister!

What am I doing?

No.

I'm not a Demon. I'm not a Demon.

I can't do this.

Where are we now?

I don't know.

But why does this place look so familiar?

Of course, it will look familiar. We just passed by here.

So we're lost again, aren't we?

Have more.

Look at you. You've lost weight. It must be hard on you recently, right?

I can save my teacher. This is nothing.

How is Chen Changsheng's health now?

Teacher is doing well and will get even better!

Stop lying to me.

Do you think I don't know how your father is?

If he said that Chen Changsheng can't be cured, then he can't be cured.

Mother.

Changshen is a nice teacher.

But you're the princess of the Beast Clan.

You have your own duties and obligations.

You can't just live for him.

You tell me. If I can't even save my teacher,

what is the use for me being the princess?
