Today Superman, Batman and Robin

are outnumbered, but not outsmarted

when they change the plans of the mysterious Secret Four.

Next, those outer space Wonder Twins and Gleek

find out the error of jumping to conclusions

as they tackle a tiger on the loose.

And our Super Friends combine their super heroics

in an all-out conflict with an evil scientist, Dictor

and the mysterious time creatures.

And finally, Wonder Woman and special guest star Apache Chief

fly halfway around the world

to save a community from a giant cobra.

We'll continue with "The All New Super Friends Hour"

(male narrator) Metropolis Industrial Center

where construction has just been completed

on a multimillion-dollar oil refinery.

(male #1) 'And now, the President of our company.'

Fellow industrialists, I want to welcome you all

to the grand opening of our new Metropolis Oil Refinery.

A modern facility, capable of quadrupling

the output of oil products.

[audience clapping]

[people screaming]

- What is it? - What's happening?

The refinery. It's gone!

Look, up there!

Beware! This is only the first.

The Secret Four has spoken!

(male narrator) Later, at the Hall of Justice..

Holy Atlantis! A whole oil refinery swallowed up?

And the Secret Four have warned that it's only the first.

Batman, Robin and I will get right on it.

Up, up and away!

(male narrator) Superman, Batman and Robin

quickly race to the site of the oil refinery

where they seek the cause

behind its mysterious disappearance.

My X-ray vision shows

'the refinery's completely buried in the earth.'

Whoever these Secret Four are

they must have incredibly sophisticated equipment

to accomplish this.

If that's the case, it'll only be a matter of time

before we track them down.

And there's no time like the present to start.

(male narrator) With utmost urgency

our heroes begin their search for the Secret Four.

We've had success with our first efforts.

But we have much more to accomplish

if we are to stop the entire country

from depleting its natural fuel supplies.

They wouldn't listen.

Now we must force them to develop other energy sources.

Even if we have to resort to destruction.

The Super Friends are searching for us.

But they will not stop us.

We will stop them

with a trap.

(male narrator) Later, in the night-sky over Metropolis..

Attention, people of Metropolis.

'A train carrying millions of barrels of oil'

will be the Secret Four's next target.

We've got to save that train.

Everything looks normal, Batman.

Could be a trick to lure us away from the real target.

We still better check it out.

The Super Friends must learn not to interfere with us.

Activate the tornado ray.

Something's pulling us into the air.

The train will be ripped apart.

I've got to act fast.

Now that Superman's busy, it's time to aim the second ray

at Batman and Robin.

I hope Superman can handle that tornado.

(Robin) Holy Wizard of Oz! Another tornado's got us!

If I can just get the train out.

Now, to find out who's behind these unnatural disasters..

This is a warning to you, Superman.

Do not interfere.

The Secret Four have Batman and Robin prisoner.

(male narrator) Later, at the mansion of the Secret Four..

Escape is futile, Batman.

to fall open at the slightest touch

dropping you both down into a natural pool of boiling tar.

to evaporate the Elk Hills oil reserves.

(Batman) 'Use the boot' suction cups.'

A well-executed backflip was all that was needed.

First, we'll signal Superman.

And now, to stop the Secret Four

from destroying the oil reserves..

Batman's signal alert.

It should lead me straight to him.

(male narrator) As Superman follows the emergency signal

our dynamic duo make their way toward the main chamber.

[dramatic music]

In just a few seconds

this machine will evaporate all the oil in Elk Hills.

I'm afraid I'll have to put a stop to your crude plans.

Batman!

Use the immobilizer beam.

No one can stop us now.

The signal's coming from that old mansion.

They'll have to excuse me for not knocking.

Right! And the show's over, gentlemen.

I think it's time we unmasked these hooded figures

and found out who the Secret Four really are.

Holy double identity! The industrialists.

It's true that we need to find new sources of energy.

But only through cooperative efforts

I found Susie near the tiger's cage, sir.

So, you're the one responsible for the tiger's escape.

and the mysterious time creatures.

Holy decoder, Batman. Will there be time for us

to give out the Big City Track Awards

and give the first clue of the secret code word?

We can do both at the same time, Robin.

The clue to the first part of the code word

'is the name of the objects we're handling right now.'

The first three letters of its name are.

the leaders are gathered in full session.

And our government should use its power

to conquer all the planets of the universe.

The element Chronium in this medallion

'with its power to move time forward or backwards'

has kept our citizens eternally young.

We must continue to use it only for good.

Fools! You'll live to regret this.

(male narrator) Later, as Kalmo relaxes in his quarters..

This rickety antique is no longer a threat to us.

You'll never succeed, Dictor.

I have the last remaining ingot of Chronium in my escape rocket.

And I will use it to build another medallion

and defeat you.

We've got to stop him!

Prepare the rocket fleet.

(male narrator) Kalmo quickly blasts off in his escape rocket..

...heading straight for Earth.

(male narrator) Later, at the Hall of Justice

the Super Friends respond to an urgent call for help.

Super Friends, our intelligence satellites

'have detected an attack force of UFOs'

heading toward Earth. They're armed and dangerous.

'Immediate action should be taken.'

Holy flying saucers! Why would they attack Earth?

The Justice League satellite viewer

should shed some light on the situation.

Jupiters! It looks like they're all chasing that one small ship.

Calling Earth. Need help!

Being pursued by hostile rockets.

Those UFOs aren't attacking Earth.

They're attacking that poor old man.

He needs our help.

Wonder Woman and I can get there the fastest.

Let's go!

Up, up, and away!

swoosh

[intense music]

We're close enough to stop him. Activate immobilizer rays.

Engage space-grabbers.

(Dictor) 'Nothing can save you now, Kalmo.'

Look, Superman, they caught him.

Not for long, Wonder Woman.

A super-earthling is taking Kalmo's ship.

Attention, all ships. Stop the earthlings!

Now to take care of the rest of those gentlemen.

I'll tow the rocket back to Earth.

[music continues]

A space cyclone should stop them.

[gasps]

(Dictor) I'll return, Kalmo.

'No super-earthlings will get in my way!'

(male narrator) Later, in the Hall Of Justice

Kalmo tells the others of his grave plight.

And this is what I looked like for 500 years

before Dictor stole the time medallion.

You mean, Dictor is going to turn

everyone in the galaxy old?

Jupiters! He's got to be stopped.

With this ingot of Chronium, I can make a time medallion

'to counter Dictor's power, and return peace to Chrono.'

All our scientific equipment is at your disposal, Kalmo.

And the safest place for you to work

is my under-sea Aqualab.

Aquaman and the Twins can escort Kalmo to the lab.

Good. The rest of us will stay here.

We'll program the Justice League computer

to alert us if Dictor returns.

We must hurry, though.

Until Dictor is stopped

no one in the universe is safe.

(male narrator) But before the Justice League computer can be programmed

Dictor's ship returns to Earth..

...burying itself in the desert sand.

Those super-earthlings will never find us here.

Activate sensors.

We must locate the ingot of Chronium and Kalmo.

(male narrator) Meanwhile, in the Aqualab..

Your facilities here are excellent

'but I must have a maison activator'

to complete the medallion.

There's one at the Hall Of Justice.

I'll get it here fast.

We located the Chronium, sir. Two miles below sea level.

Excellent, Zolok. We'll take the air-sea auxiliary craft.

(male narrator) Moments later, Dictor rockets away

headed straight for the Aqualab.

Eek!

The outer airlock door is open.

Aquaman sure made a fast round trip.

You won't escape me this time, Kalmo!

- Dictor. - How'd he find us?

Who cares?

(in unison) 'Wonder Twin powers, activate!'

Form of a billy goat.

Shape of an ice cage.

(Jayna) Now to cage that evil Dictor.

Charge!

eek eek hoo hoo

(Zan) Slow down, Jayna, the friction is melting me.

I-I can't. I-I-I'm slipping.

(Zan) Well, looks like I got your goat, Jayna.

Spacy, Zan. Real spacy.

(in unison) 'Wonder Twin powers deactivate!'

Oh no! Dictor's taken Kalmo.

Somehow, I think we blew it, Jayna.

Zan, Jayna, what happened?

Where's Kalmo?

Dictor took him away in his rocket jet.

I've got to act fast.

(male narrator) Following it's bubbling rocket trail

Aquaman catches up with Dictor's jet.

With his aquatic telepathy

he summons help from the sea.

[intense music]

We're trapped by a giant sea creature.

It won't stop. Dictor, activate turbo rockets!

thunk

The reef's damaged our engines!

We don't have enough power to get airborne.

Expel Kalmo through the vent.

That'll get rid of the excess weight

'and Kalmo too.'

They've ejected Kalmo.

(male narrator) With the speed of a Polaris missile..

...Aquaman races Kalmo to safety.

Later, at the Hall Of Justice..

Kalmo can continue working on the time medallion right here.

The computer radiation scrambler will make it impossible

'for Dictor to detect the Chronium.'

We've got to locate Dictor

before he can cause any more trouble.

You two stay here with Kalmo. We'll call you if we need you.

(male narrator) The Super Friends streak into action

searching the heights and the depths of the Earth

to find the evil Dictor.

There's something on the screen, Wonder Woman.

'It's Dictor's ship.'

It must be buried in the desert floor.

Wonder Woman to Super Friends.

'I've located Dictor's ship in the Magobi desert.'

'North at 16-G.'

You think they'll need our help?

It couldn't hurt.

Kalmo will be safe here. Let's go!

(male narrator) But Wonder Woman's message fails to penetrate

miles below the Earth

leaving Batman and Robin unaware

that Dictor's ship has been found.

Batman and Robin haven't arrived yet.

They'll probably be here any moment.

In the meanwhile, we'll pay Dictor a surprise visit.

You will, fools, sooner than you think.

So, super-earthlings, I have you at last.

I'm afraid it's only going to be a short visit, Dictor.

I don't think so.

[evil laughter]

He's turned us into kids.

Hey, change us back!

Ha ha ha.

(male narrator) Unaware of the Super Friends' grave situation

Zan and Jayna arrive in the desert.

That's funny. Where are the Super Friends?

According to Wonder Woman's coordinates

Dictor's should be right here!

(Gleek) 'Aah!'

Zan, look. We found the...Super Friends?

The Super Friends? You mean the Super Kids.

Well, at least Kalmo's safe at the Hall Of Justice.

So, he's safe, is he?

Once I locate the Hall Of Justice

I'll take care of Kalmo.

Then nobody will stop me from conquering the universe!

Giving out the awards at the track meet was fun.

And it gave us a chance to see the first clue to the code word.

Holy deducing! Time for the second clue now.

(Batman) 'Look at the viewer. There are two clues to look for.'

'The first is the boy's name'

'and the second is what he just did.'

(Robin) 'I know I saw the boy's name on his shirt.'

To get the code word, put the first clue together

with the name you saw on the shirt

and the thing that boy did.

(male narrator) Unable to locate Dictor, Batman and Robin

attempt to contact the Super Friends.

Robin to Super Friends. Robin to Super Friends.

Oh, it's no use, Batman. Nobody's answering.

That means trouble. We'll head back to the Hall Of Justice.

'The computer satellite maybe able to locate them.'

(male narrator) Meanwhile, inside Dictor's ship..

We're in a fine pickle.

How are we gonna get out of here?

I wanted to call my flying fish to rescue us

but Wonder Woman says it's dumb!

What'll your stupid fish do once they get here?

Besides, my magic lasso will get us out of here.

Come on lasso, drill a hole right through the wall.

[grunting]

- Well, I guess it's up to us. - Right.

...where Kalmo works on the time medallion

and Batman and Robin work feverishly

to somehow locate Dictor's whereabouts.

Still no response, Batman. The computer satellite

'hasn't the slightest clue to Dictor's whereabouts.'

We've got to keep trying.

Batman, I'm down here!

Look, Robin, it's me Jayna.

Shoo, get away.

Get that mouse off the computer.

Galloping key punchers. It's Jayna!

(Batman) "I can lead you to Dictor."

All snug in the Bat-belt mouse compartment.

(male narrator) Later, as the Batmobile races through the desert..

- Are we getting closer? - Right there.

Holly sand dunes, Batman.

'Dictor's ship must be buried under tons of sand.'

No problem, Robin. Activate the Bat-borer.

Roger.

(Batman) 'Hang on. We're ready to dive.'

(male narrator) Moments later, a storage room aboard Dictor's ship..

(Batman) 'Okay, Jayna, lead us to them.'

screech

They're in here.

At last, the location of the Hall Of Justice.

beep beep beep

Intruders!

We'll deal with them first, then get Kalmo.

(Wonder Woman) Batman and Robin! Wow, you found us!

Holy kindergarten!

The Super Friends are Super Toddlers.

We have to get out of here. There's no time to lose.

(Dictor) 'You have less time than you think.'

My time ray will turn you both into rickety old men.

Go ahead, Dictor.

It worked, Batman.

(male narrator) Engulfed in the time ray

the young Super Friends

instantly transform back to normal.

My magnus steel emergency door should hold you long enough

for me to get to Kalmo.

(in unison) 'Wonder Twin powers deactivate!'

eek eek hoo hoo

I guess Dictor doesn't know that Superman can tear

'right through that door.'

Except, it may take a moment

before I fully regain my strength.

Soon we'll have the Chronium ingot

and take care of Kalmo once and for all.

(male narrator) As evil Dictor rockets off to the Hall Of Justice

Superman regains his strength

and frees the others.

Quick, to the Hall Of Justice.

(male narrator) Moments later, at the Hall Of Justice..

You haven't succeeded yet, Dictor.

You'll soon pay for all the trouble

you've caused me, Kalmo.

Hold it right there, Dictor.

Stand back, all of you!

Even Kalmo's dust will disintegrate in one hour.

Then even the time medallion

'will be powerless to bring him back.'

With this last remaining ingot of Chronium

nothing can stop me from conquering the universe.

Activate molecular transporter.

He's vanished.

Leaping time clocks! How are we gonna save Kalmo?

To say nothing of the universe.

I have a plan that should accomplish both of those things.

Using the Bat disguise kit to make yourself look like Kalmo

was a brilliant idea, Batman.

It's a good thing Kalmo left us that picture

'of himself when he was young.'

Now to lure Dictor into a trap.

(male narrator) With the cooperation of the US Space Agency

Batman uses a giant radio telescope

to send messages into space.

Attention, people of Chrono

this is Kalmo, your rightful ruler.

(male narrator) Millions of miles away..

Kalmo! But how?

'I shall bring peace to our planet.'

'Change course back to Earth.'

'We must intercept Kalmo's rocket.'

(male narrator) Having lured Dictor into the trap

Batman and Robin blast off in Kalmo's rocket

followed by Superman

and Wonder Woman and Aquaman in the invisible jet.

[intense music]

Kalmo's rocket's dead ahead.

Ships Alpha and Gamma, intercept!

(Batman) 'Perfect. They're heading straight for us.'

Batman to Super Friends. Put super-plan A into operation.

swish

screech

Now for the winning touchdown.

All ships, close in.

swoosh

Looks like it's time I took the controls, Wonder Woman.

Right. I'll get them with my magic lasso.

Time for an old fashioned round-up.

You haven't won yet. I'll be back!

- He's getting away. - That's what he thinks.

More speed. We must get back to Chrono before Kalmo does.

You're going no place, Dictor.

You think you've won, don't you?

Our people will exile him to a rehabilitation space colony.

can be quite evil.

And that only in the right hands can power be constructive.

It looks like Gleek's been into my Bat disguise kit.

[all laughing]

I'm still not sure what the code word is.

The first clue was "Medals."

It was the first three letters of the word, "Med."

The second clue was that boy's name. "Al."

Right. Do you remember the last clue?

That's it. "Yawn." Okay.

'The code word is Med-Al-Yawn.'

- 'Medallion.' - 'You got it.'

Ha ha. Pretty tricky, Batman.

[both laughing]

against the venomous giant cobra in "The Antidote."

This isn't some strange fish face. It's a rattler.

The Wonder Twins are having a party here later.

They're going to like this rhythm instrument.

'It's called a sun rattler, and it's really easy to make.'

'All you need are two paper plates'

'a hand full of dried beans'

'liquid glue, and some colored markers.'

'On the bottom of each of the plates, draw a happy sun face.'

Now that you've got the two shells for your rattler

'I'll be back soon to tell you how to finish it.'

(male narrator) Deep in a remote region of India

a peaceful village is about to be shaken with disaster.

(male #2) 'An earthquake!'

[women screaming]

[intense music]

rumble

(male narrator) In the dense jungle nearby, hundreds of poisonous cobras

are driven in fear of the earthquake

for the unsuspecting village.

[infant crying]

It is over. We're safe.

Look, cobras!

hiss

hiss

[people screaming]

(male narrator) Later, at the Hall Of Justice..

Super Friends, your help is needed immediately.

Hundreds of villagers have been bitten by poisonous cobras.

Our supplies of snake bite serum are exhausted.

We administered it to the victims

in small quantities to keep them alive.

They won't survive if we don't get them some serum immediately.

There's serum in

the Justice League emergency medical supplies.

Apache Chief and I will get it and leave immediately.

(male narrator) Later, at an outdoor hospital

in the small village..

Thank you for the serum, Super Friends

but it is far from enough.

We must have more antidote within an hour

if we are to save the villagers.

But the anti-snake serum is made from cobra venom.

(Wonder Woman) 'There's no way we can get such a large quantity in time.'

There maybe a way to get enough cobra venom to make an antidote.

You must find Kotoru.

The legendary giant king cobra

who lives in a hidden temple somewhere in the jungle.

It's our only hope, Wonder Woman. Let's go.

You must be careful.

It is said that Kotoru controls other animals

and is the king of the jungle.

Thanks. We'll be on guard.

(male narrator) Later, over the jungle..

There's the temple the old man described.

I'll land the invisible jet in that clearing.

The temple ruin should be straight ahead.

We can't go through there. It's too dangerous.

I don't see anything.

We'll have to go around it.

(Wonder Woman) 'The temple.'

(male narrator) As Wonder Woman

and Apache Chief

approach the ancient temple..

...the giant cobra Kotoru wakens!

Now that we have the rhythm instrument shells

with the sun faces finished, it's time to add the filling.

'It's these dried beans.'

'They'll make the rattling sound when we're done.'

Next, apply glue on the plate's rim the beans in it

'then put the other plate on top of it.'

Put the rattler aside to dry overnight

and you've got a terrific rhythm instrument

that's fun anytime.

Remember, all you need are two paper plates

'some dried beans, white glue'

'and some markers to decorate the plate.'

It's Kotoru. We must be careful.

Look, Kotoru's controlling the animals.

'And ordering them to attack.'

[grunting]

I will stop the animals

you enter the temple and find Kotoru.

Wild boars, they're too dangerous

to tackle from the ground.
