Original subtitles

All right, guys, let's take a look.

Two pairs, aces, jacks, and

another ace. It's too bad, guys,

but it looks like I took this one.

Here you

go.

Well, guys, see you later.

Hey, where's he going? How does he think

he's doing?Hey, kid,

where do you think you're going with our

money?

There you go. What do you mean?

Hey, come on now. I want it fair and

square. What do you expect from me?

BastardNow we want you to give it back.

Sorry. That's too difficult for me.

Sorry.

Hey, young man.

Think about it.

Jamie.

Ma. It's

George. Oh,

George. Mom. Didn't you

say that you'd be coming home next Monday?

Well, since we ended the training early,

I thought I'd hurry home and see you.

You've gained weight. You must be very

tired. After your long trip, come, take a

rest.

Since I I knew that you'd be back, I

prepared your room yesterday. It's clean

and tidy now. I'm very comfortable.

Thank you, Mom.

Mom, I'll do it myself. Don't you

think that I can't do anything because my

eyes are blind and I'm old now. Although

Mrs. Wong next door helps me with

cleaning and cooking every day, there are

a lot of things that I do by myself.

Mom, where's Jimmy?Don't

mention him. Your brother is useless.

During the period of your training, he

drank a lot and came home very late. And

I scolded him about that. But

he didn't care. I think he's hopeless.

Oh, George, let me prepare hard water and

you can take a bath. Mom, it's

not necessary. You can go to sleep now.

All right, but you can go to bed early.

All right.

huh Brother! Ha! When did

you get home?I just arrived.

Hey, brother. let me ask you why did you

come home so late please tell me thereason

brother what kind of training did you get

that simple pre-professional

hey tell me something about your job mmm

still the same down at a cycle shop is it

hard not too bad

but I can't do anything else

I'm told that you're drunk every day when

you come homeThat's what mom told me.

Can you explain why?Friends,

birthdays, you know how it goes.

How come you get to go to so many parties?

Mom, what made you get up?Don't

try to fool me. Though my eyes can't see,

I'm not a complete idiot. Mom,

everybody has to have some friends. What

kind of friends do you have,

alcoholic or troublemakers?

Why don't you try and learn from your

brother? Why do I always have to worry

about you?I know. You've always liked

George better. Jimmy! How can you speak

to your mother like that?I know! She's

never liked me! Jimmy! You...

You're nothing compared with your

brother. I... Just because I

didn't go to college! That was your own

decision. You can't blame anyone. What

you decided was your own decision. Come

on, come onMom, I just came home. Don't

make yourself angry because of this. You

should take a rest now. Come on.

Go.

Excuse me, President. Ohh Sit

down, sit down. All right, President,

we're now investigating Chow's death.

There are some questions I hope you can

answer. How long did Mr. Chow work

in your office?HmmMr. Chow

had worked here for just over a year, but

he was a very capable man. HmmDo you know

if Mr. Chow was ever involved in trouble?

He was a man of peace. I don't think he

was in any trouble. His

only weakness was he was too fond of

wine. I warned him many times, but he

couldn't give it up. If he

could have, things may have been

different. There have been several murder

cases in the last few months. And

all of the victims were successful

businessmen. According to all the

evidence shown, there is probably

an illegal organization undergoing some

crisis. I hope all of you will do your

best to investigate these murder

cases and find the murderers.

Come in.

I'm George Watt. HmmOh.

Have a seat. Thank you.

Very good. Mr. Choi is a very good friend

of mine, and he told me all about you.

I believe in what he said. He said you're

very good. Also, he told me that

you wanted to get a job here. That's no

problem. You'll be my personal secretary

and help me in business. Thank you very

much. I'll try my best to do it.

Good. Really good.

You did a great job. Mr. Yip,

give him some money. It will be a payment

for his job.

This is for you. Thanks.

Mr. Chong, what about my friend?Don't

worry. I can handle it. As a matter of

fact, Ma is now guilty. He must go to

jail.

But I can help in trying to minimize his

punishment.

Our boss is a man you can trust.

He can handle the case well.

Alan will be in jail for six months. Then

he'll go free.

All right. Then I'll go now. Hmm

Hey, boss. Now I think it's the time for

us to get rid of Lee. Hmm

I really do not want to kill him,

but I know I've got no other choice now.

Hurry up, hurry up! Come on.

Okay, I'm coming. Come on, come on, come

onWe're waiting. Come

on, get going.

Ohh Come on, hurry up, your turn. Come

on, we haven't got all night. OK, here I

come. Come on. Here I am. See?See

All right. Looks like I

win this one. Yeah, come on,

Fred. All right, let's get some money out

of here. Total 780. That means you need

780 to pay the three of us.

Ohh Give us the money. I've lost.

I've lost so much money tonight. I don't

even have a-- It's kind of my business.

You're a real jerk. Cheating your

partner. Oh, it's only my luck.

That's wrong, Jimmy. It's him that forced

me to. What about your pregnant wife?

That's right, so I want to win some money

for her. But now you've even lost some

money for your family. You'll soon--

Andy. You'll soon lose your wife. Stop

betting. No, Jimmy, at

least I have to get the money back that I

lost. If you lose once more, you'll lose

everything. What about your family?

Take this. No, I... No. Take it!

But...

Go home. Thank you. He fights with

missiles and with spears

He's all of 31 and he's

only 17 He's been a

soldier for a thousand years

He's a Catholic, a Hindu,

an atheist, a Jain, a

BordestagAnd a Baptist and a Jew

And he knows he shouldn't kill And

he knows he always will kill you For me,

my friend, and me for you

And he's fighting for Canada

He's fighting for France He's

fighting for the USA

And he's fighting for the Russians And

he's fighting for Japan And he

thinks we'll put an end

He's the one who must decide who's

to live and who's to die. And he never

sees the writing on the wall.

But without him, how would Hitler have

condemned him after how?Without

him, see, there will have stood alone.

He's the one who gives his body as a

weapon of the war. And without him, all

this killing can't go on.

He's the universalAnd he really

is to blame If the orders come from

far away no more They come

from him and you and me

And, brothers, can't you see

This is not the way we put an end

to war

Huh Don't you know who we are?We don't

have to pay. We are special.

Because we protect you. Just ask your

boss. Hey. Huh

Brother, how much do you owe?

250. 250. Let

me have a word with you. Come on. Hmm

Hey, you really want to eat free? What do

you mean?Ohh Yeah.

50 bucks for tips.

You guys, listen. Don't come back.

Damn it.

Hey. Our boss wants to talk to

you.

My mentold me you gave them trouble.

I couldn't stand their behavior. They

were too rude. That's all there was to

it. What's your name?Huh

There's no need to tell you. I'm a

nobody. Not like you guys.

So why don't you pigs just leave me alone?

No. Jimmy!

Jimmy! Jimmy!

Jimmy!

Jimmy!

Mom, why are you up?I jumped that

Jimmy had fought with some people, and he

was killed. Mom, it was

only a dream. I think Gimlia will be back

in the morning. Don't worry. Go back to

sleep now.

Come on.

What happened?

It's nothing. You're wounded. Seriously.

You're bleeding. I must find a doctor.

Oh. No need.

It's nothing. It's an accident.

Let me take you home and bandage you up.

All right. Thanks.

Ah

Can you tell me?Is that a man called

Jimmy working here?Jimmy, he quit

already. But why?

I don't know. He is lazy and just

likes work. I haven't seen him for two

months. If I were the boss, I'd fire him.

Did he tell you where he'd be working

before he left? Why should he tell me?

He's got no friends in this shop. He's on

the speaks.

Thank you.

You're awake. Would you like some

breakfast now?Ah

Thanks.

Here. Thank you.

Hey, have you been a nurse?Yes, I

study nursing right now.

Oh, you mean that you work only nights?

Do

you have a family?

You've been far all alone. Mm-hmm

You're the bravest girl I know. I'm not.

I think you're the brave one around here.

Oh, yeah. Can you tell me why you fought

with those guys?That simple.

I couldn't stand them, so I beat them up.

But then they beat me up.

Oh, that makes you a hero.

If that makes me a hero, then it's the

first time for me. All

right, I've got to go now. I think you

should go back home pretty soon.

You think I dare go back looking like

this? Then you can stay here for a while,

but I must go to school now. There's some

food in the icebox. I'm really

sorry. Tonight,

I'll sleep on the sofa. Bye.

Goodbye.

Hi. Haven't I met you before?Oh,

I'm George Wan. I'm new here. Oh.

You are?I've come to see Mr. Lee. Oh,

please.

Come in.

Uncle. Oh, Nancy.

Didn't I tell you not to come here to

write office hours?I'm embarrassed. Why

didn't you come to my club last night?Uh,

busy, busy. Uncle. So

that's your new secretary. Oh, yeah.

He looks like he'll be a good one.

Hey, why don't you two come to my club

tonight?All right, all right

Huh

Goodbye. Goodbye.

This way.

Mr. Lee, what would you like to drink?

I'll just have the usual. Tell Nancy that

I'm here. Of course.

Hey, George. You should

settle down and relax. This is my niece's

place. She's a very nice girl and also

very beautiful.

Nancy. Uncle. Here, let me introduce you.

George Juan. Nancy Lee. Hi.

How are you?Find a pretty girl for

George.

There's no need. Thank you.

Mr. Wan is an honest man. Uncle, he's

different from the others.

Uncle, I think your new secretary is very

capable. I'm sure he'll help you a

lot in your business. That's for

sure. I think I'll live all the affairs

in the company for him to handle, and

then I'll invest in other businesses.

Come. Bottoms up, Mr. Juan. Thank you.

Mr. Lee, I think it's the right time to

start. So soon after Chow's accident,

we should let things calm down a little.

It's only an accident. Don't worry about

it. All you need is to invest

here, get your profit, and let me handle

everything else. Mr. Lee,

remember there are very few chances to

get so many gems. Also, it's completely

tax-free. That means a lot. Also,

there's someone who'll handle everything.

Mr. Lee, I think you don't have to worry.

Make your decision as quickly as you

possibly can. Otherwise, you will

miss this fortune, and you'll regret it.

All right. But you must guarantee

that I have nothing to do with diamond

smuggling. It's a deal. All right.

Boss, the container has just arrived.

And all the diamonds we want this time

are inside.

Good. Very good.

Should I notify Mr. Lee?Hmm

How about we don't inform him?

What do you mean?

You know what you should do. Oh.

Yes, yesContact Jimmy right

away. Uh, but...

you promised you'd only do it once.

If you won't do it, then show him the

photographs.

I already told you, I won't do it. Ah,

how can you say such a thing?Mr. Chang

doesn't like to hear that. I'll do

anything, Mr. Chang. But,

forget killing people. You

really won't, huhNo way.

Jimmy, have you ever seen

these photographs?

Where

didn't you get these photographs?Tear

them if you like. I can print a lot more.

How dare you?You bastard

Do you know what will happen if these

photographs are shown?It means

your whole life will be ruined.

If you do as I say, you'll

get rich.

This is the file about our trading this

time. Hmm

And it must be kept top secret.

Otherwise, we'll be in trouble if it's

shown. Suppose Lee's plan

works. We'll get over 10 million. We can

quit after that. Oh,

Miss Lee. Nice to see you. Where is he?

He's inside. I'll get-- Shh.

Hey boss, how can you leave that file

here? It's supposed to be a top secret, huh

Don't you know that the safest place is

the obvious place?

Who's there?It's Nancy.

Are you busy?I'm discussing business with

Mr. Yip. Then I'll come another day. Ah,

there's no need. There's no need. We've

finished our business. Of course you can

stay here.

Here, sit down.

Are you investing in something new?

I'm interested in all kinds of

business. Do I get

something out of it?Of course.

Hey, didn't I promise?I'll take you to

Europe for vacation. You've made a lot of

promises, but they seem to be only

dreams. Ohh

Come here, I'll show you something.

Come on. ah umm

It's all wrong, all wrong. You'll never

make it if you do that. Come on, I'll

show you. On straight,

swing this way. Now you understand?

Come on, try again. You wash them off.

Ohh Great, you did it,

you did

it. Come on, try it again.

Uncle, you wait here for a minute. George

and I will go and get the car and then

come back to pick you up. All right. Get

one.

Uncle, let's call the police.

HmmForget it. I don't want to cause any

more trouble. Forget it.

Jimmy, you used to handle this kind of

thing well. How come there's a mistake

this time?I'm sorry.

There must be mistakes sometimes.

Just forget what happened out theretoday.

You go and take a rest.

HmmMr. Yip,

what do you think about this?

I think...

we better leave it now.

HmmJimmy!

Jimmy!

George, why are you rushing?

Mom, did Jimmy come back?He didn't.

What happened?

I found a very good job for him. He needs

an interview now, Mo. Uh,

Mom, I'm busy. I've got something

tonight. Don't wait up for me.

HmmWhat's the matter

with you?You can't stop smoking

and fidgeting around.

Is there some trouble?I'm just

worried. What about--

HuhDon't tell them.

Uh, Maggie.

Listen, it's nothing. I--

I just had a fight with my mom.

Don't you know that you're a very lucky

man?You've got a mother, a

brother, a very sweet family.

You have it all. I have

none of it.

You're much luckier than me. Do

you know whether President Lee was in any

trouble?I

I don't know. That motorcycle was

obviously trying to knock the president

down. But why didn't he report it

to the police?I don't know that

either. Nancy,

do you know someone who secretly

connected with him in business?

I really don't know anything about my

uncle's business. Have you ever met the

man on the motorcycle?

He's familiar. Think

about it.

I just can't remember. Nancy, if you can

remember, call me. Okay. If

somebody thinks I'm like the late Mr.

Chau, they're completely wrong. I'm not

as weak as him. I can take him at any

time. Ah, Mr. Lee, what are you

talking about?Tell me what was the matter

first. Someone tried to kill me the other

day with a motorcycle. Huh

For what reason?Do you have

an enemy that would want to kill you? Then

you're my partner, I'll be frank. It

hadn't better happen again.

Mr. Lee, what you just said has some

special meaning for us?You know what it

means. Hmm

But I really don't understand the

meaning. You think that I

hired somebody to kill you?You are just

much too suspicious. Is that right? You

kill me then!

Mr. Lee, you've made a mistake. Don't

they aren't a fool like you.

You want to kill me and take my money.

So you've found out the truth and leave

me no choice. We better be

separated.

Hold it. Let me show you something.

To get so many gems. Also, it's

completely tax-free. That means a lot.

Also, there's someone who'll handle

everything.

Mr. Lee, I think you don't...

HmmHmmYou're live. And this

tape will soon vanish from the Earth.

You underestimate my planning. This kind

of tape is cheap. If you want it, I'll

give it to you. Bastard

I had my own plan as well, before we

separate.

Bye-bye.

Goddamn old fox.

Jimmy. Jimmy.

Jimmy.

Mom.

Mom.

Did Jimmy just come back?It must be him.

I can tell. He knows I love this fruit.

Higher! Reach higher!

Okay?I

still can't pick it.

Jimmy.

Do you remember? This is the place where

we played when we were kids.

There was one time when you stood on my

shoulders to climb a tree to steal a

papaya. I remember.

Listen, brother, let's forget it.

I want to go home. We can't waste our

effort. Just one more minute, and I'll

get it. Push higher.

All right. Hey, you kids, how dare you

steal from my garden?Don't run.

Thieves at your age. Oh, what will happen

when you grow up?Where's your family?

Take me to see your guardian right now.

But we're sorry. Mother likes to eat

papaya, but we can't afford it. You just

have to ask me. There's no need to steal

them. It's dangerous for you to climb up

so high. Now go home. Thank you.

Mister, my mom likes eating papayas,

but we're poor.

You start, remember?I can carry you on my

shoulders and race with the other kids.

Yeah.

Hey, brother, if anything is a little

harder than it was before. You're right.

Hey, you've grown. And you're heavier

than me. Please tell me.

Why did you quit your last job? What are

you doing now?

Well, it's not as good as yours, but I'm

happy with it. Umm It

seems that you enjoy it. Come on, tell

me. Huh

What do you do?Simple. Nothing to

tell. You should tell me good news when

you got your job. And let me celebrate

with you. Huh

Let's forget it. Did

you drive your motorcycle to have some

fun around a golf course three days ago?

Brother, what do you mean by that?

Now tell me, did you try and knock down

Mr. Lee?Mr. Lee?

I... I don't know the man. Don't try

to fool me. Talk.

Why did you want to kill him?Who asked

you to do it?I don't know what you're

talking about.

Jimmy, I'm your brother. There's some

trouble. You can tell me about it. I'll

solve it for you. Jimmy,

tell me what happened. Leave me alone!

You hit me. Who do you think you are?I'm

your brother. I've got the right to teach

you to be good. Because you're my

brother. You're not committing a crime.

Tell me. Who's the one behind this?Tell

me go! Tell me! Let me go! Tell me! Let

me go! Tell the truth! Let me go!

You... Let

me go! Let me go! Let me go!You

must tell me! Don't force me! Don't force

me! Don't force me! I'm warning you! You

gotta tell me everything now!

Jimmy. You know that...

I wish the killer wasn't you. Now you

must tell me what's happened. I don't

care what happened the other day. I

wantin' Bob you and Mom!

Jimmy, please wait! I'm warning you!

Don't hang around with that girl!Jimmy!

Don't you know that what you're doing is

ruining your future? There's no one in the

world that understands me!

I think that even you yourself can

understand, so there's no need for others

to know. Can you please stop

complaining? There's no one in this world

who can help you right now. You're a man.

You must face reality. Do you understand?

Maggie, I'm no good.

No, you're not that type.

Let me tell you my feelings.

Every time I see you, I feel guilty.

You're so good to me.

Everyone in this world has a story.

My life story is a sad one.

Want to hear it?I lost my mom when I was

very young. My father was quite a

rich man. But he was

cheated by his friends, by someone he

thought was good. So his company is now

bankrupt.

When will you pay back our money? Please

come back in a few days, huhHuh

HuhI will be back in

three days. Just wait and see. Let's go.

Daddy?

Daddy?Daddy?Daddy!

Daddy!

Spanky.

I must keep on living. I must face the

facts of the world. There's

no point in regretting the past. You've

got to face the future ahead of you.

That man on the motorcycle. Can you

remember him now?

I can't seem to remember.

You're hiding something. No. Don't

worry.

So you've decided you must leave.

Jimmy, would you please reconsider it

carefully?I've made-up my mind.

Mr. Chong, I hope that you'll let me go.

I promise that I'll keep our secret.

Hmm I believe that you'll

keep your mouth shut. You like

singing?That's very good.

And I won't stop you if you insist. Hmm

I like your style. You're a very good

worker. You can come back

anytime. We'll welcome you back.

Mr. Yip, give Jimmy

some money. Don't bother.

But... You must remember to keep

our secrets. Don't worry.

I keep my word. Mr. Chong,

goodbye. Hey, Timmy.

If you have any trouble, please call on

me. Thanks.

Boss, I don't think we can trust him.

Alan, let's go.

My good friend.

You must have suffered a lot.

I heard that you went south right

after your release. I went south to see a

few friends. Ohh

This is your money. I've kept it for a

long time. Mr.

Chang, I've been a gangster for a long

time. I'm tired of it now, and I want

to quit this game. Aye,

you're a very successful man.

And I need these kind of men who are

experienced.

But the fact of the matter is,I want a

new life.

Alan, you have a police record.

There's no company that will hire you.

That is the problem. You see, although

you want to start a new life, no one will

help you. Hello?

I'm busy. Keep him waiting.

Let me tell you, I am the only

man in this world who treats you so good.

When you were in jail, I took care of

your family.

Also, you won't get used to the

lifestyle of normal people. I'd like to

try it. Mr. Chime, I must

leave. Call me soon.

Alan, if one of your friends did

something wrong,

what would you do?I'd teach him a lesson.

I know you won't do this kind of thing to

your friend. Who?

Forget it. I don't want to talk about

this kind of man again.

Mr. Chang, you should understand my

character.

It's Jimmy.

But since he's a good friend of yours...

That's why I can't kill him.

I know what to do if Jimmy was unloyal to

us. I'll handle him. You leave the matter

to me.

Come on now. Let's drink.

Here?Cheers.

Did Jimmy really do something wrong?

He really did. He treated us badly.

There's the one time after we got rid of

Chao that Mr. Chung gave him some money,

but he dared to keep all of it. That's

not the right thing to do. And now he

quit Mr. Chung, and we are just left

behind and doing nothing. Hmph. He's

really a bastardAlan, he used to tell us

we were good partners and they shared

everything, but now he abandons us and

starts singing at the nightclub. Hmph.

Alan. Even if Mr. Chang won't allow

you, we still want to help you

get rid of Jimmy. Welcome.

That's him. Thanks.

Hey, Alan. When did you get out of jail?

About a week. Jimmy, are you really happy

now?Yeah, I am. At least I have a

good job. Did you do something nasty?

Uh-huhWhy do you say that?If you weren't

a good friend of mine,I wouldn't forgive

you. It's good to see you. Let's have

a drink later.

It's a lesson too late for

the learning Made of sand

Made of sand

In a wink of an eye my soul

Is turning in your

hand in your hand. Are

you going away with the

words of farewell?Can there

be not a trace left behind?

I could have loved you better. Didn't

mean to be unkind. You know

that was the last thing on my mind.

You got reasons a plenty

for going. This I

know. This I

know For the

wheat have been steadily

growing Please don't go

Please don't go Are

you going away with the

words of farewell Can there

be not a trace left behind?

I could have loved you better Didn't

mean to be unkind You know

that was thething on my mind

As I lie in my bed in

the morning Without you,

without you

Each song in my breath starts

a morning without you

Without you, are you

going away with no

words of farewell?Can there

be not a trace left behind?

I could have loved you better. Didn't

mean to be unkind. You know,

that was the last thing on my mind.

Yes, that was the last thing on my

mind.

My rambling boy always sings

great May all your

rambles bring you joy Sounds

nice There he will

My rambling boy

May all your

rambles bring you joy

Late one night

in a jungle camp

I lost the

only friend I had

So fair he will

My good boy Oh, sing it up

now May all you're right Oh,

bring

his joy

He left--

Let's go.

I'd like to ask you something. It's wise

for you to tell me the facts. Don't try

and tell me lies. I'll never forgive you

if I know the truth.

Why don't you just come out and say what

you mean?

All of my friends and Mr. Chong said you

betrayed them.

If quitting is betrayal...

Betrayal?Mr. Chong said I could quit.

And I promised that I'd never tell any

secrets. And I haven't.

Is that betrayal?I don't think so.

I want to tell you, it's useless to be a

gangster.

I'm tired of this kind of life, and I

swear I'll never do it again. But if Mr.

John wants to kill me, then I have no

choice.

Listen, I'll find out who's right and

decide what to do later. You can leave.

That's your order, but you better think

it over while there's a chance.

Police are coming! Police are coming!

Let's go!

Alan! Alan!

Alan! Alan!

You better leave here.

Hurry up. Alan!

Alan, the cars are really coming. I just

roll them. Let's take him to thehospital.

It's too late.

Ohh

I'm tired. Let

me take a rest first.

I was wrong. No.

You were right. I've spent my

whole life at crime.

But now... Ohh It's... it's..

too late.

Andy, Alan was a good example for us.

I think you should quit, Mr. Chong. You

have a family and kids.

Andy, you should go and find a a

good job and a good living.

Understand?

I understand. I better go now.

Andy. Huh

Jimmy, what's the matter?

Take this money. Uh, but-- Just take it.

There's something I want you to do.

Give this money to my mother.

Tell her.

I have a new job, someplace far away.

I have to leave

her.

Why did you fight again?Let's go in the

house.

Jimmy.

Maggie. I think

I'd better leave for a while. Why is that?

I'm just a worm.

I've been hiding a lot of things fromyou.

I'm so ashamed.

I should have told you everything. Tell

me then.

My best friend.

He died for me.

Once you you get started in the wrong

way, you can't break away.

Just like

me. I can't break away. What are you

saying?What are you talking about?

Maggie,

I have to tell you the truth.

I'm a fugitive. But then why didn't

you go to the police?

No, that's the only way

if you don't do that. Your life will be

full of regrets and worries. Go to the

police. No.

I can't leave my mother alone.

I can't leave you alone.

Don't worry about me. I'll wait.

Until you change yourself. Jimmy,

you must do it.

Manager S, there's someone called George

to see you. Oh.

Mr. Chang, won't you excuse me?

Hello, George. Have you come to see me?Or

have you come for more questioning?

Nancy, you have to tell the truth. You're

the one who's closest to the president.

You must know a lot of his secrets.

No, I really don't.

It is against the law for you to hide it.

If they get the evidence, you will be

just as guilty.

You should know the facts. Try to think

it over. Call me anytime.

Who's there?I'm looking for George. Uh

You are?I'm a friend of his. I'm

Nancy. My son hasn't come home

yet. Please come and wait with me in the

house. Fine, thank you.

Tell me, how old are you?

26. And do you have a job?

I have my own restaurant. Very good.

My son, when did you first meet him?Oh,

about three months ago. Very nice, very

nice. Why didn't he tell me?

He should have said that he had a new

girlfriend. Mrs. Wan, our

friendship is only platonic.

Please get my slippers. Oh, sure.

Be careful.

Don't worry. Just sit down.

Let me bring you something to drink. Oh,

let me do it. You can't see. Don't

worry. Although I can't see anything, I

know this house very well because I've

lived here for so long.

Can you tell me how you feel about my son?

I think it's time that he got marriednow.

Please don't say that. Tell me,

who's the other guy in the photo? Is he...

Oh, that's George's brother. There's only

three of us in this family.

Mom. George, you have a

visitor, George. Nancy, why are you here

now?Didn't you say that I could call you

anytime?That's right. You should have

brought Nancy home sooner. There's no

need to keep your friendship a secret

from me. Mom, I'm

going out with Nancy for a while. Fine.

Did you tell my mother anything about us?

Of course not. I came here today to tell

you everything that I know.

Your brother is involved with a smuggler.

His name is Mr. Chang, and he was working

with Li, smuggling diamonds into this

country. HmmGood.

You're a friend of Chang, and it's easy

for you to find the evidence of his

crimes. This is very important.

There must be something to prove that

he's guilty. I think there must be a

secret place that he keeps his records.

Try to get there and take some. Okay.

Here's your trading company.

Now take it to my house. I'll wait for

you there.

Maine. What is it?Who is this here?

A manager.

Good. This is the document I want. Tell

me now. What are you talking about?Oh,

Mom, I don't have time to explain.

Nancy, please stay here now with my

mother. Mom, I must go.

Please, sit down. Rest.

Hey.

HeyWhere's Jimmy?

Inside. Jimmy, you better hurry. Your

brother's in trouble.

ah

I've got changed evidence to prove that

he's guilty. Let's run. There's no need

to fight with him. Let's go.

Brother, brother, you're still pretty

good.

Get that cake.

Ah Jimmy,

get that box back.

Let's go. Excuse me.

Jimmy.

Jimmy. How's your wound?

I'm all right. Jimmy!

Jimmy.

Jimmy. Jimmy.

Pepin, call an ambulance.

Yes. Jimmy.

Huh Now I understand.

Please tell Mom that I

finally did the right thing.

George. Chief,

this is all the evidence about Chain.

Congratulations on your success.

Thank you very much.

Wait for me.
