The Eternal Love

Episode 21

What is this place? It's so glaring to the eyes.

There are two suns!

Could this be... the legendary magical spirit land?

So the 25 year deadline Royal Grandfather mentioned was my deadline in Dong Yue!

Once I come here, it starts all over again.

So your Royal Grandfather had this trick up his sleeve too!

My body doesn't hurt anymore!

Let's go look over there.

Hey! You two come over here!

Come and show your identification documents.

Let's go.

Show us your ID token.

What?

ID token!

You must have a proper identity to come here.

What do you treat the magical spirit land as?

But I have never seen such a thing before.

The quality of people coming here is getting worse!

Come and make a temporary one.

You two. Put your hand here. Who will do it first?

Don't be afraid. I'll give it a try first.

Alright, next.

Go on, it's okay.

Th... this isn't breaking public property, is it?

Someone could actually shatter this rock?

The Soul Summoning Orb has already appeared in the magical spirit land!

The people holding the orb is one man and a woman.

Go and kill them and steal the Soul Summoning Orb!

Loyally serving Master! Remove the seal!

Conquer the world!

Elder Liu! Elder Liu!

The vibrations finally stopped.

If you hadn't joined us in time,

it would have been a disaster!

Elder Liu, we haven't seen you in so long. You must have brought good news.

You're right! I have found our tribe leader!

Also, she already has the Soul Summoning Orb.

The minute I arrived in the magical spirit land, I rushed here.

I think the tribe leader will be here soon too!

Then we have hope!

Elder Liu, the Demon King's power grows every day!

His attacks on the seal have become stronger every day!

Yes, I must

help the tribe leader learn the Qu secret technique as soon as possible

and bring her inside the seal.

Good.

What are those things?

- They are all the remaining evil subordinates of the Demon King. - Who is the Demon King?

A devil that previously caused miserable suffering in the whole Magical Spirit World. Those who hear his name tremble in fear.

Then why did they come here?

Your spiritual power is too strong and attracted them here.

- Tan'er, run! - Cheng Cheng!

Cheng Cheng! Cheng Cheng!

Royal Grandfather... hurry... hurry and save Tan'er.

Miss Qu?

What is this place?

Did I time travel to Europe? What is this place?

I really am not that familiar with Europe.

Wasn't I with Cheng Cheng yesterday somewhere near the registration area? Cheng Cheng...

What is this?

I am not undergoing a metamorphosis, right?

I'm sorry! I didn't do it on purpose.

But... what is this place?

This is the Mo Tribe, the biggest tribe in the magical spirit land.

What are you telling her for? She broke the vase!

I didn't do it on purpose!

Forget it. Where is the man who came with me?

The tribe leader is healing him. We'll deal with our own tribal matters.

We don't need an outsider like you to interfere!

What are you talking about? That's my husband!

Where is he? Hey!

Hey!

Hey! Open the door!

Let me out! I want to see Cheng Cheng!

Why did Tribe Leader bring her here?

Shh, not so loud. Don't let her hear you. She's from the Qu tribe.

I don't care about the Qu tribe.

Tribe leader really is too benevolent and soft when doing things.

- Besides creating trouble, what else can she do? - Who knows?

This is tribe leader's order.

Who knows what trouble she'll attract in the future.

Those voices are clearly coming from the front door.

But I feel like it's right by my ear.

Granny, you've come?

They smile at other people. Why are they only so mean to me?

Granny, you've worked hard!

Do you need anything, Guest?

Granny, do you know where my husband is?

Actually, it's like this.

Yesterday, my husband and I were ambushed!

We were both seriously injured!

In the end, when I woke up this morning, he was gone!

If there is nothing else you need, I still have other things to do.

Hey! You--!

Why have I been feeling dizzy all day?

I must have been hurt very badly yesterday.

Look, this is what it says. Got it?

The method you used earlier was wrong.

Next time, use the method that is written in this book.

This--! This is an eye that can see and an ear that can hear for miles!

Qu Xiao Tan, don't forget!

Don't get too excited either!

At this moment, I have to use this special power to find Cheng Cheng!

Cheng Cheng? Why does this person feel so familiar?

Why do I feel so exhausted now?

No, I must focus.

Qu Xiao Tan, this is an important task. You must go save him now.

Making maps isn't hard for me!

My real estate agent skills are finally becoming useful!

Mo Yi Huai?

That's not right. He looks the same,

but the aura is completely different.

Could he be...?

The first king?!

Correct.

I am Lian Cheng's Royal Grandfather, Mo Yi Feng.

I am also the tribe leader of the Mo Tribe here.

Hello, Royal Grandfather!

The rumors in the outside world are that you went to travel the world and they don't know if you are still alive.

I never imagined that you'd still be alive!

But, you look so young!

You don't look like Cheng Cheng's grandfather!

You look like his older brother!

Those who cultivate immortality do look a lot younger than other people.

It has something to do with the magical techniques we cultivate. This you will know in the future.

- How are your injuries? - They're not a big problem.

Recovering after a grave injury and then forcefully using the Thousand Eyes technique from the Qu family

will burn up a lot of your spiritual power.

The Eye of Heaven? When did I learn to use that?

The Soul Summoning Orb is in your body. During the battle at the border,

you played the Wandering Soul Flute in a moment of panic

and that stimulated the energy of the Soul Suppressing Orb in your body.

Oh, right, where is my Soul Wandering Flute?

I am going to advise you not to use this here.

The Qu and Mo Tribes have a grudge that goes back hundreds of years.

I fear that you will only attract trouble if you use Qu clan secret techniques here in our tribe.

The Qu Clan and Mo Clan?

What do they have to do with me?

You can't even remember your surname.

My surname is Qu!

Could it be, I'm part of the Qu Clan?

Was I originally someone from the magical spirit land?

Correct. Lian Cheng as well. This is his real home.

When can I see him?

He's recovering right now.

What's wrong with him?

Lian Cheng's injuries are serious. The elders are helping him heal.

But it is only temporary. He is still in danger.

- I want to go find Cheng Cheng! - Wait!

Lian Cheng cannot see anyone right now.

His life is in danger, so he cannot be bothered by outside sources. Or else, everything will have been in vain.

Could it be that Cheng Cheng's 25 years old crisis is not over yet?

It is a long story.

Royal Grandfather, I want to know the truth!

Mo Lian Cheng's real spirit

is actually my good friend, Sir Lian Cheng.

He was once the magical spirit land's best physician.

He is amiable, kind, and gentle and practices medicine in order to help the public.

We had a good relationship. Unfortunately...

later on, things changed, and the entire magical spirit land was thrown into chaos.

War, bloodshed, murder.

The Qu and Mo Tribes are on opposite sides.

Due to his good relationship with me, he got dragged into our war.

During a battle, Lian Cheng was killed.

When I arrived, it was already too late.

Lian Cheng!

I wasn't willing to let Sir Lian Cheng die just like that.

I then used the heaven and earth seal to extract his consciousness and keep it by my side.

What is this?

Lian Cheng left this behind.

It has been by my side for a hundred years.

It can be considered a memory.

At that time, the entire magical spirit land was destroyed.

I drank wine every day to numb myself.

But seeing this item only made me remember him more and I got distracted.

Plus my tribe members were really vengeful, so everything just fell into chaos.

I was no longer willing to be caught up in the battle between the tribes.

And so,

I then took the heaven and earth seal that sealed the consciousness of Lian Cheng inside it

and went to Dong Yue. After several twists and turns, I was able to establish the Kingdom of Dong Yue.

I married, had children, and became the first King.

My wife from then is now the Dowager Queen.

Lady Zhao.

I kept warming and nourishing Lian Cheng's consciousness.

I had always been waiting for a chance

to transfer Sir Lian Cheng's spirit

so he would be reborn again.

Then you mean... you took someone's spirit

and transferred it into another person's body?

My god!

I think Avatar also took someone's spirit

and transferred it into an alien's body!

But they are totally on a different level compared to you.

This brain hole is too big. (Brain hole - unconstrained imagination; bigger the hole, richer the imagination)

I don't have enough brain cells for this!

This is the special skill passed down through the Mo Tribe.

Very dangerous. If we make any mistakes,

it will lead to eternal damnation.

But... I had to give it a try.

The heavens do not forsake sincere people.

Later on, I had a son.

That is the current king of Dong Yue.

After he grew up and got married and had children,

Lian Cheng's spirit had somewhat stabilized.

It was a perfect chance.

As long as I took Sir Lian Cheng's spirit

and transferred it into a newborn life,

then he could be reborn. I thought of every possible method.

I was finally able to transfer Sir Lian Cheng's spirit

into the body of my grandson.

It's all thanks to the magical item here in the Magical Spirit World called seven gathering pill.

When my grandson was born,

Lian Cheng's spirit unexpectedly

was a complete match for my grandson's body.

This was probably the heaven's will.

He became the current Mo Lian Cheng.

Then does Cheng Cheng still remember what happened?

The effect of the seven gathering pill is exactly that.

It helps Lian Cheng forget all his past memories.

Just like a newborn life.

After that, I kept little Lian Cheng by my side.

I took good care of him every day.

When little Lian Cheng was ten years old,

I could truly feel that Sir Lian Cheng was by my side.

He had never left.

Then that means,

Cheng Cheng's real spirit

is actually Sir Lian Cheng.

He just forgot the past?

No. What if he remembers everything from the past?

You left a marriage arrangement behind.

You had me engaged to Mo Lian Cheng.

You already knew then,

that all of this would happen?

You know that I'm Qu Xiao Tan,

and that I'm the second daughter of the Qu family?

I knew your true identity long ago.

I also predicted that you'd come to Dong Yue.

So, that's why I engaged you to Lian Cheng.

Because only you can truly save Lian Cheng.

That means, twenty some years ago,

you'd already predicted all that has happened now?

I lived for twenty some years.

My life was actually being controlled by someone else?

This is really a tragedy.

Lian Cheng's injuries are serious.

The Elders already are out of ideas on what to do.

The only thing that can save the Lian Cheng of now

is the Sir Lian Cheng of the past.

But if we want to quickly restore Sir Lian Cheng's memories,

the current Mo Lian Cheng

will forget his memories from the past 25 years in Dong Yue.

He'll forget the past twenty some years

of memories?

Does that include me?

I once said that Mo Lian Cheng wouldn't live past 25 years old.

Actually, it is that when he turns 25 years old,

the seal on his memories will weaken and become undone.

When the time comes,

he'll remember everything from the past (in this world).

And he'll slowly forget everything from the past 25 years.

No. You're lying!

How could Cheng Cheng forget me?

You're lying to me, right?

Right now, this is the only way to save Mo Lian Cheng.

Only if we restore Sir Lian Cheng's memories

can we extend Mo Lian Cheng's life.

There's no other way?

I want Cheng Cheng to stay alive.

Even if he forgets me, that's okay.

I want him to live on!

But, I'm just letting you borrow him!

In the future, you must return him safe and sound to me!

Because he belongs to me alone!

Watch her. Don't let her take half a step out of her room.

- Yes. - Yes.

Old weirdo! Why are you here too?

Is your headache better?

My headache is much better!

There is abundant spirit energy here in the Magical Spirit World.

Once you arrived here, your headache will naturally get better!

Old weirdo! We must save Cheng Cheng first!

I've been locked in here and can't go outside.

But Cheng Cheng is in a lot of danger right now!

No, no, no, we cannot save him right now.

Mo Yi Feng won't let him die.

But those of the Qu Tribe cannot stay for long with the Mo Tribe.

You should hurry and leave with me!

I don't care! I don't care if you talk about the Qu or Mo Tribe!

I must save Cheng Cheng, or else, I won't leave anymore!

Open the door!

Open the door!

This is the secret magical techniques of the Qu clan. Train in it well. We are depending on you to suppress the Demon King.

I'll come find you then! Take care!

-What is this? -Just follow along and practice it!
