- We actually met at work, randomly.

It was probably a good year ago.

- I mean, sometimes, but it just really depends

on the teacher.

I think the professor I have this year

is really teaching me what I need to know

to, you know, actually love it.

My son was just amazing and the story I read it,

the teacher gave him the award for it, actually.

- It's like an, like all achievement writing award.

So it was like top of like the entire school.

that you're happy about?

- I'm not sure I look psych.

I major in psych, so I've taken a couple.

I have no classes for that major,

but I'm more interested in you.

Tell me about, you know, how is college life been like?

Do you like it?

- It's definitely hard.

A lot of late nights studying,

learning things I don't really want to.

- Parties.

- Yeah. I mean, there's definitely been a couple of parties

that I've went to, but man, they were so crazy.

I don't think I could keep up.

I just don't drink a whole lot.

He's more like in school, like partying and the girls come,

but, you know, my son is more dedicated to what he needs to.

- So what do you hope to do with this degree, Austin?

- Honestly, I haven't really thought about it too much.

I've just been kind of going to school

and doing the things that my mom told me to accomplish.

- When's your next break?

- Um, I think my next break is actually in a couple of weeks.

I've got that holiday coming up, you know?

I just ran into his mom last time in the grocery store.

She was telling me that he's actually going to major in

I haven't seen you in so long. So I feel like,

- You guys want to see the tiger?

- Well, obviously I picked up photography a while back.

I really liked that. I've been in my free time,

kind of going on hikes and trying to take photos of

sunrises and sunsets and all the wildlife that's out there

in the desert, you know?

- What do you like about the wildlife?

- Wildlife? Hmm.

Maybe just the fact that they're out there,

free in the world, doing their own thing.

That's probably the coolest thing about them.

- I think it's so creative, their son is so creative.

- Yes. Yeah. He's amazing. I actually saw a picture he took

and it was just very beautiful. That's about a fox,

like abandoned fox or something.

- A fox. Oh wow, Aston.

- Yeah. You really just don't know what you're gonna find

out there. Every time I go,

there's something different out there.

Mostly you see a lot of lizards though.

- Lizards?

- Yep. They're always wandering out there,

especially when the sun's coming down.

But other than shooting wildlife and I think, let's see,

I've taken some photos of some cars.

of all the sports events that have been going on

at school too.

- I think it's been about a year now.

- Crystal? She's a lot older, honestly.

She's 38.

but it's probably one of the harder hikes to do

Well, she doesn't eat red meat.

So as long as I stay clear from that,

Do you saute or what do you do with the vegetables?

- Lately I've been honestly throwing them in the oven

and kind of just doing like-

- I would get to know what Crystal's favorite kind of dishes

are and kind of make, you know, stuff revolving around that.

- Well, she loves sushi, just like anyone.

Well, when it comes to snacks, she's definitely loves gummies,

like gummy bears and stuff like that.

But her favorite cake is tiramisu and red velvet.

- Are there any good restaurants by your campus?

- Not right by the campus, but it's a good 30,

40 minute drive at least.

You should surprise her sometimes with flowers

and just like random gifts.

- I'm so glad you mentioned that.

The small thing is what makes everything, you know,

- I actually send her flowers weekly already.

And when it comes to gifts, I mean,

there's been some stuff that I got her here and there,

but other than that, I mean.

Do you have a little part-time job?

- Yeah, I've been doing deliveries.

and deliver food.

I try to do that in my spare time too.
