- The professor just loves talking

and seeing what we know already, which isn't much.

I don't think I paid a whole lot of attention in high school.

- He was seeing some really, really like, adorable girls.

She's also a writer, I'm not quite sure.

Usually I feel like you're into blondes.

but my current one definitely has dark hair.

- Okay, what did you guys meet?

- We actually met at work, randomly.

It was probably a good year ago.

- I met her, she's such a sweetheart, like, adorable.

- I mean, with school though, I hardly get to see her,

maybe a couple of times a week.

- Any sports that you've been participating in?

- Sports?

- Quite athletic builds, I see.

- Just running mostly.

I'm always running across campus, 'cause all my classes,

wait, it was like, not to brag, but it was like he got an award

for one of his stories and it was about that one girl,

I thought you hated English.

- I mean, sometimes, but it just really depends

on the teacher.

I think the professor I have this year

is really teaching me what I need to know

to, you know, actually love it.

My son was just amazing and the story I read it,

the teacher gave him the award for it, actually.

Like I said.

- What kind of award?

- It's like an, like all achievement writing award.

So it was like top of like the entire school.

Like he won first place.

So it was very beautiful.

- Isabella, are you taking any classes right now

that you're happy about?

- I'm not sure I look psych.

I major in psych, so I've taken a couple.

I have no classes for that major,

but I'm more interested in you.

Tell me about, you know, how is college life been like?

Do you like it?

Is it hard?

- It's definitely hard.

A lot of late nights studying,

learning things I don't really want to.

- Parties.

- Yeah. I mean, there's definitely been a couple of parties

that I've went to, but man, they were so crazy.

I don't think I could keep up.

I just don't drink a whole lot.

- Exactly.

- He's a good boy.

- Yeah, he's such a good boy.

He's more like in school, like partying and the girls come,

but, you know, my son is more dedicated to what he needs to.

- So what do you hope to do with this degree, Austin?

- Honestly, I haven't really thought about it too much.

I've just been kind of going to school

and doing the things that my mom told me to accomplish.

- When's your next break?

- Um, I think my next break is actually in a couple of weeks.

I've got that holiday coming up, you know?

- Yeah, he gets like three weeks off.

- I mean, he's just as busy as I am, honestly.

I think it was history that he had with me.

Honestly, I have such a hard time trying to remember the

I just ran into his mom last time in the grocery store.

She was telling me that he's actually going to major in

history, honey.

- Really? That's pretty cool.

- You have scholarship as well, like my, like my son.

- Yes. And what are you happy with, Aston?

I haven't seen you in so long. So I feel like,

I don't know much what you do. So...

- You guys want to see the tiger?

- Well, obviously I picked up photography a while back.

I really liked that. I've been in my free time,

kind of going on hikes and trying to take photos of

sunrises and sunsets and all the wildlife that's out there

in the desert, you know?

- What do you like about the wildlife?

- Wildlife? Hmm.

Maybe just the fact that they're out there,

free in the world, doing their own thing.

That's probably the coolest thing about them.

- I think it's so creative, their son is so creative.

- Yes. Yeah. He's amazing. I actually saw a picture he took

and it was just very beautiful. That's about a fox,

like abandoned fox or something.

- A fox. Oh wow, Aston.

- Yeah. You really just don't know what you're gonna find

out there. Every time I go,

there's something different out there.

Mostly you see a lot of lizards though.

- Lizards?

- Yep. They're always wandering out there,

especially when the sun's coming down.

But other than shooting wildlife and I think, let's see,

I've taken some photos of some cars.

- Oh cars. Yeah. You got cars?

- Yeah. Just the fast ones though.

- Anything that's cool and exciting.

Oh, and I've been trying to take some photos

of all the sports events that have been going on

at school too.

- Oh, what kind of sports events? Or swimming?

- Well, basketball, swimming, football definitely.

Just anything that let me come to with my camera, I guess.

- Oh yeah. That was probably in middle school.

- Oh, I've been doing great.

I've been pretty happy, honestly.

I think a lot of the things that I just get to do for her,

like acts of service and just being there anyway that I can,

it's really great.

- How long have you guys been together?

- I think it's been about a year now.

So still pretty new.

And I feel like we're always learning things

from one another.

How old is Crystal?

- Crystal? She's a lot older, honestly.

She's 38.

- Yes. So you gotta put in extra work to keep her happy.

So it just makes things a lot easier.

She actually goes on some of those hikes with me

when I'm going out and taking photos.

- Death Valley, definitely.

- Yeah, it gets super hot out there,

but it's probably one of the harder hikes to do

and it's beautiful.

A nice pair of hiking boots.

- I've taken her to dinner.

She definitely likes going to those fancy places.

But other than that, I really like to cook.

So anytime I can do that for her,

- What's your favorite dish to make?

- Let me think about it.

Well, she doesn't eat red meat.

So as long as I stay clear from that,

she's usually pretty happy.

I would say chicken, fish, and of course all the vegetables.

Do you saute or what do you do with the vegetables?

- Lately I've been honestly throwing them in the oven

and kind of just doing like-

- Yes, yes, I love to do that.

- Oh, I love sauteed veggies.

- What kind of stuff do you guys recommend me cooking?

- I would get to know what Crystal's favorite kind of dishes

are and kind of make, you know, stuff revolving around that.

- Oh, well I already know what her favorite dish is.

- Oh, every girl loves sweets, like dessert. Yes.

- What's her favorite dish and what's her favorite dessert?

- Well, she loves sushi, just like anyone.

As far as dessert goes, hmm.

Well, when it comes to snacks, she's definitely loves gummies,

like gummy bears and stuff like that.

But her favorite cake is tiramisu and red velvet.

- Are there any good restaurants by your campus?

- Not right by the campus, but it's a good 30,

40 minute drive at least.

You should surprise her sometimes with flowers

and just like random gifts.

- I'm so glad you mentioned that.

No, it's a small thing, so it matters.

Every girl likes that.

The small thing is what makes everything, you know,

that's what you remember.

- I actually send her flowers weekly already.

And when it comes to gifts, I mean,

there's been some stuff that I got her here and there,

but other than that, I mean.

- How are you affording this?

Do you have a little part-time job?

- Yeah, I've been doing deliveries.

- You know, the driving ones where you have to drive around

and deliver food.

I try to do that in my spare time too.

- My mom knows all about that delivery service.
