[Fighter of the Destiny]

[Episode 48]

Lou Lou.

Teacher.

I heard that you are leaving the capital soon.

I want to go back to my clan.

By the way, I'm leaving tomorrow. Don't trouble yourself to see me off.

What is happening?

Nothing.

You seem very distant.

Showing more respect to my teacher is something I should do, isn't it?

Sorry for all the troubles I've given you in the past.

We've been through so many difficult situations together.

Now, you want to leave so suddenly.

Luo Luo, we all don't want you to leave.

I have the mission as the princess of the Beast Clan to start with.

Sooner or later I have to return.

So, if Teacher misses me, just visit our Beast Clan and I'll be your host.

You have grown up.

Do you remember the first time we met?

You were a girl who wanted to have fun.

Go ahead and pack your stuff.

I won't interrupt your packing.

Your Highness! Your Highness wait for me!

- Your Highness! \N - What is it? Do you also want to come along?

I want to be a sacred general in the future and also a man to protect your highness for life.

So, wherever you go, I will go.

What about Guojiao Academy?

Mister knows that I want to come with you. He agrees with it.

Take care!

Take care of yourself.

Let's go!

Remember to think of me.

"Teacher was reading about Jianye Family in the library."

"I fell asleep while holding his arm."

"My drools wetted Teacher's sleeve."

"When I woke up, Teacher was not mad at me."

"He just changed his clothes very quickly."

"I know Teacher has mysophobia."

"It was my fault."

Silly girl!

Lou Lou don't go. Wait for me.

Xuanyuan, it is time for us to go. Time to rush onto our journey.

Your Highness! Your Highness! Your Highness!

How about waiting just a bit more?

Maybe Mister will be here shortly.

I told him not to come to see me off today. Let's go.

Just wait a little.

I believe that he will surely come.

- Coming or not? \N - I...

Your Highness! Look who is there!

Mister! I just knew that he would surely come.

Luo Luo!

- Luo Luo. \N - Teacher, what is that?

You forgot to take this with you.

Look! Do you still remember that was that time when...

I still remember. What is it?

Take it with you. These are our memories!

Just keep it here as souvenir to you.

Luo Luo.

What is it, Teacher? Is there something else?

I... Take care!

Okay.

When you have time, you can come visit our Beast Clan often.

You are always welcome to our clan.

Then I am going, Teacher. Teacher, take care.

♫ Fill every gap ♫

♫ The deeper I love, the more I indulge ♫

Mister.

♫ It makes me more difficult to forget ♫

♫ But I have to forget ♫

♫ I have fallen in love with you, but I must forget you ♫

♫ My heart is blatantly refusing ♫

♫ How can I put in all my effort to throw away all our memories? ♫

♫ I have fallen in love with you, but I then forget you ♫

♫ Look at my heart in a total mess ♫

♫ Even if only one drop of our memories remains, ♫

♫ I also want to hide it deep in my heart ♫

♫ Forgive me for my heart can't help itself ♫

What are you doing?

You smell really nice.

- Let go of me first. \N - I won't.

If you don't agree, I won't let go.

♫ I've spent all my courage to wipe off your traces ♫

I, Bai Luoheng, am joining the Guojiao Academy with Chen Changsheng as my teacher.

Greetings, Teacher.

Teacher, don't go.

I can't bear to part with you.

Teacher, don't leave me.

I won't.

- Everything will become better. \N ♫ I have fallen in love with you, but I then forget you ♫

- I promise. \N ♫ Look at my heart in a total mess ♫

♫ Even if only one drop of our memories remains, ♫

♫ I also want to hide it deep in my heart ♫

♫ I have fallen in love with you, but I then forget you ♫

♫ My heart is blatantly refusing ♫

♫ How can I put in all my effort to throw away all of our memories? ♫

I'm all right.

I just feel empty,

like somebody dug a hole there.

Because you have too many memories with her.

Nobody can replace her. Neither can you erase the memories.

I once thought that

she would leave me one day.

But I didn't think that when the day came,

I would feel so sad.

We can go visit her at the Beast Clan.

I hope she will be safe and sound.

Originally, since the Star Formation is unstable and the Demon Clan is invading them,

they're facing internal and external problems.

This is the best time for us, Snake Subduers, to show our power.

Unfortunately, something has raised up lately.

The situation is once again hard to read.

Inform members of the Snake Subduers.

Without my order, don't act recklessly.

Yes.

Official Li!

Official Li, you look like you're in a rush. What are you here for?

I need to see Her Majesty.

Official Li, Her Majesty has released a decreed

that His Holiness is her acting ruler.

If you have anything, just report to His Holiness everything.

Why do you insist on seeing Her Majesty?

Zhou Tong, you're just the manager of Qing Dynasty Division.

Even you're an investigating censor now,

your priority should be investigating the ministers for Her Majesty and making sure everybody obeys the rules

instead only trying to win favor of His Holiness.

You've spoken well.

Investigating the ministers for Her Majesty and making sure everybody obeys the rules?

Am I not fulfilling my duty right now?

Official Li, Her Majesty is cultivating in seclusion.

You... don't bother her.

- You have no right to manage me.\N - Really?

Step aside. Step aside!

Official, please.

Your Majesty! Your Majesty!

Why are you so flustered?

Are you saying even if I send out my decree now,

it's hard to say if I can take the military leadership back?

I'm afraid so. His Holiness has accepted your decree to lead the army.

They've also won quite a few battles.

Now the Demon Clan has withdrawn their army and he's supposed to give back the military leadership.

But he wouldn't submit the Dragon Tally.

Your Majesty, if you still don't remove the acting ruler title from him, I fear it'll be too late.

Now his people have taken over the government completely.

If you want to return control of the government, it may be hard.

Even I also...

What has he done to you?

This place is completely surrounded by His Holiness' men.

They say that they are protecting your safety.

It's hard for me to come in and out.

So that means

these years, I misjudged him.

In my opinion, His Holiness wanted to take this opportunity to

probe into the condition of your health.

If that's the case, his intention is enough to get him punished.

Please make a decision soon, Your Majesty.

If I still had the strength to move around,

how would I gave him the power to be the acting ruler?

I'm just worried that after a hundred years,

there will be nobody to inherit the empire.

Right now, the Crown Prince has returned.

- Yourong can help him. The two of them can...\N - No.

I don't want that child to

taste the blood and danger that comes with this crown.

Even though you have been smart since you were little,

you can't control the Star Formation.

And Yourong has devoted herself to Taoism. She's too simple-minded.

She doesn't understand the hardships of court.

The three of you are no match for Ying Xingdao.

I just want to serve you alone.

Of course, I understand your thoughts.

Given the current situation,

maybe we should leave the mistake uncorrected and make the best of it.

Your Majesty, you mean?

He's surrounding this place with lots of soldiers,

but I just won't make any move.

So he won't be able to probe anything.

Ying Xingdao acts with extreme caution.

Without knowing my situation, he doesn't dare to act recklessly.

But Your Majesty, what I'm worried is that His Holiness does things with many thoughts and considerations.

If he doesn't dare to touch you,

he'll find someone to do it for him.

What you said is right.

You have to exhaust everything to protect Changsheng for me.

Yes.

How dare! They actually come to our Guojiao Academy to kill.

Don't chase after them. Be careful of traps.

Are you all right?

I am fine

Do you know where they came from?

They have various and complicated techniques.

It doesn't seem like they come from the same sect.

I've noticed they all have good skills.

Right. This is also something I find odd.

Who can employ so many masters

and also train them to act wisely?

What you mean is?

Since this person has the ultra power, why must he kill me?

Unless...

Unless what?

Maybe he was after me.

Changsheng, it's midnight now.

You're not resting. What do you want to do?

Step aside. I want to see Her Majesty.

Her Majesty has ordered us to stand guard outside.

Her Majesty is cultivating to heal her wound in seclusion.

No one is allowed to bother her.

You should return.

Chen Changsheng! What are you doing?

What do you have to bother Her Majesty about?

Her Majesty is cultivating to heal her wound. It's a very crucial time for her.

If you break in, what if her effort so far all ends up in vain?

Even if your identity is special, the outcome might not be so good. Right?

Changsheng, why are you making this hard for me?

I'm just someone ordered to guard.

If you have any question, you can wait until Her Majesty comes out. Okay?

Who's breaking into the Li Palace in the middle of the night?

I'm Chen Changsheng. I want to see His Holiness.

You can come with me.

Reporting to Your Holiness.. Chen Changsheng wants to see you.

You can leave.

Yes.

Disciple Uncle.

It's so late unless something has happened.

I just want to ask how Her Majesty's wound is.

Her Majesty has ordered that she is cultivating to heal her wound in seclusion.

She won't see anyone.

Even I was refused entry.

No wonder.

Did you get rejected when you tried to get in?

Official Zhou Tong said he was ordered to guard the palace.

He won't let me see Her Majesty.

It's fine if other people can't see Her Majesty.

But how come they even dare to stop the Crown Prince?

Never mind. If Her Majesty is cultivating in seclusion,

we can't blame her.

There's another thing.

Disciple Uncle, did you know someone tried to assissinate me today at Guojiao Academy?

Who is so arrogant?

Could it be the Demon Clan again?

I don't know where they came from.

Maybe the Demon Clan still wants to get rid of me.

I will order people to protect Guojiao Academy.

If you have other things, you can tell me all at once.

I will take care of you.

Nothing else. It's just I'm curious about something.

The guards that brought me in

know the techniques of Xiaohongshan.

I heard his footsteps were three loud tone with one low tone.

It's quite special.

You're knowledgeable indeed.

My soldiers are not as good as those who studied at the six academies.

Disciple Uncle, you're being too modest.

Your Li Palace has accepted all kinds of people.

It's full of powerful and skillful people.

It has opened my eyes.

You're very thorough.

But overthinking might be bad for your health.

I'm only worried about Her Majesty.

As for me, I've long stopped worrying.

You've followed the whole way. You've worked hard.

Disciple uncle, what exactly are you going to do?

Kill you!

Why would you kill me.

If you don't understand, try to guess.

As for the throne,

you've wanted this spot for a long time, haven't you?

This spot originally should've belonged to me.

Why would we give away the country we fought for and won together to that woman from the Tianhai Family?

But you've owned the mighty power.

You're already the most powerful man in the whole country.

There are always a few thorns that if I don't pull out, I won't be happy.

Looks like you not only want to kill me,

you also want to kill the Empress.

She's not the legitimate ruler of the Zhou Empire.

The Empress said she has an incurable injury.

If even after I kill you, she still won't make a move,

then I'll know

how severe her injury is.

Disciple Uncle, why did you become so scary?

Scary?

If you know

how much suffering and hardship I had to overcome for today,

you'd then understand who has made

me become so scary?

Those who have a peaceful mind can reach the sky and give up the mortal life.

Those who travel as light will have the incredible abilities as life and death.

Her Majesty even taught you the Star Control Formation technique?!

As a rule of thumb, all roads lead to Rome.

What rule of thumb can a young boy like you understand?

Official Zhou!

Official Zhou, bad news.

The Crown Prince and His Holiness are fighting in the Daming Palace!

The Crown Prince wants to rebel.

He wants to be the emperor sooner so he wants to kill His Holiness.

It's lucky Her Majesty is intelligent enough to have ordered

His Holiness to be the acting ruler.

She's doing that just in case today, just in case the Crown Prince usurps the throne!

What should we do?

All soldiers, listen to my order.

Follow me to protect His Holiness by stopping the Crown Prince!

You can go now.

I'm here to see Her Majesty.

Her Majesty is healing her wounds.

It's very crucial. She won't see anyone.

What if I have to see her?

If anything bad happens to Her Majesty, the whole country will go into great chaos.

It looks like Her Majesty's wound is really bad.

The more you try to stop me, the more suspicious it seems.

What you want is the whole country's approval, not the royal power and the crown.

If you don't have people's approval, it won't make sense even if you get the crown.

Ever since Her Majesty brought the Crown Prince back to life, she has lost interest in dealing with government affairs.

She decided to leave the throne and go into seclusion.

And whatever Your Holiness wants to get, you will get it sooner or later.

And you will get it more and more smoothly than what you've imagined.

Miss Mo, do you really understand what I want?

Your Holiness,

if you have to rush, neither party will win.

You've been waiting for more than ten years.

Why would it hurt to wait for three more days?

Three days?

Can Her Majesty totally recover after three days?

But after three days,

Her Majesty will officially give her order to give away the throne and retire.

There are only three short days. Do you really think you can turn the world upside down?

Your Holiness, don't you have the confidence?

Okay. Then let's make three days the limit.

If Her Majesty still doesn't give up the throne by then,

don't blame me if I don't act politely.

This is a secret decree from Her Majesty.

Please quickly bring it to Changsheng and Yourong now.

- Okay.\N - Go quickly.

Where are you going?

I am concerned about my mother.

His Holiness won't burn his house to frighten the mouse away.

He won't do anything to the Empress.

There hasn't been any news about a mutiny from the palace.

No matter what, as for him,

my appearance will surely distract him.

At that time, my mother will have a chance to escape.

- Are you trying to... assassinate His Holiness? \N - Yes.

It's a rare chance to compare notes with His Holiness.

If you miss it, it'll be such a pity.

Okay. We already died once together. We aren't scared to die again.

Changsheng! Changsheng!

- Thirty-Six. \N - Where is Chen Changsheng?

He and the Saintess both disappeared.

- Disappeared? \N - Let's go.

Hello? Where are you going?

Where do you think they would have gone?

The capital?

But that place is already full of His Holiness' troops and spies.

How about this? You stay here and I'll go find them.

There's no coward in the Lishan Sword Sect.

Okay. Then let's return the capital together

If we want to make a scene, let's turn the world upside down.

Where are you going? I have been looking for you quite a while.

Didn't you tell me that you never wanted to see me anymore?

Why do you still not let me go?

Let's go home.

Let's go.

Go?

You've destroyed my whole life.

How can I go with you?

Why would I destroy you? I like you.

Enough.

You go ahead and leave. I never want to see you anymore.

Qiushan Jun!

You were the one who destroyed yourself.

Why would you risk everything for that damn phoenix?

I finally get it.

If someone doesn't like you, no matter how much you've done for that person,

there will be no return even if it's just a smile to you.

Won't there?

Where are you going?

I'll accompany you.

There's no need.

I don't need your company.

Maybe I should go back to Lishan and ponder about my misdeed,

to reflect on the mistakes I've made over the years,

and the sin I've conducted.

Are you still Qiushan Jun?

You're the best disciple of the Lishan Sword Sect.

You're the youngest master in the Zhou Empire.

You used to be so handsome and confident.

How can you cave in in front of your destiny?

Is there any point to talk about this?

All of these things

have become dust.

I'd rather see the old you who hated my guts

but has so much energy,

than seeing you being so disheartened.

Do you remember? I once told you.

If you don't want to live anymore, then I am going to die with you.

Don't you hate Chen Changsheng?

Kill him then.

No matter what you're doing, I'll be by your side.

The government is having a crackdown on the "remaining criminals" of the Guojiao Academy.

How dare you still to come to my place?

Brother Zhuang, I need your help.

Me? Why should I help you?

Because I know you are humane.

Her Majesty... has been imprisoned by His Holiness?!

This is treason.

If we don't stop it in time, it'll be too late!

Tiandao Academy is only a place for study and cultivation.

I'm afraid we can't interfere with government affairs.

Brother Zhuang, what are we studying for?

For being a coward? Or for failing to distinguish right from wrong?

Stop the nonsense! I let you come in here and not order anyone to catch you.

I'm being very merciful. You should go now.

Don't you understand what's going on right now?

Her Majesty has devoted herself over the years, trying to use the power of the Star Formation to get rid of the Demon Clan.

Now an evil man has the ultra power.

How are we going to defend ourselves against the Demon Clan?

Tiandao Academy is very weak.

If it does fight against the government, it's like throwing an egg against a rock. You should go now.

- It's the critical time about the life and death of the Human Clan.\N - Leave quickly.

I don't believe that you're this muddled.

- Go now! \N - Brother Zhuang!

Young Master Tang.

Young Master, where are you going?

I'm going to see His Holiness.

What a coincidence. I can go with you.

Then I do want to ask.

Is His Holiness trying to usurp the throne and commit treason?

You!

Young Master, you want the correct answer. I have it.

Let's go.

I have the secret decree from Her Majesty. His Holiness is trying to usurp the throne and commit treason.

- What are you doing? \N - Stop misleading people with nonsense!

Nonsense! Anyone dare to believe in his words

shall also be considered a traitor and will be arrested together!

- Come. Come.\N- Go!

Kill them!

Stop!

Brother Zhuang.

Zhuang Huanyu.

Let me ask you. Tang Thirty-Six is just a student.

What crime has he committed to have you arrest him by yourself?

Is he a student?

Have you heard what he said? Is that something a student should say?

He's trying to rebel!

Zhuang Huanyu, don't think you can do anything since you're from one of the six Ivy schools.

The Six Ivy Schools were founded for letting disciples gain more knowledge

and how to behave properly by telling right from wrong.

What law has Tang Thirty-Six broken?

Please tell us, Official.

I work with General Xue to handle cases so we don't need to explain it.

What place do you think Tiandao Academy is!

Tiandao Academy is not some special place.

But at least it teaches us to tell right from wrong!

if you want to arrest him, you can't catch him alone. How about you arrest us all then?

- Yes. That is right! \N - Arrest us.

- Arrest us! \N - That's right.

- Arrest us! \N - Don't try my bottom line.

Your Holiness, Tang Thirty-Six is making a scene in Tiandao Academy.

- Qi Jian! \N - Changshen! Saintess!

Why have you come?

What are you doing? Back off!

Don't step further.

I have the secret decree from Her Majesty.

Her Majesty has been imprisoned by His Holiness.

Is His Holiness going to kill the Empress and commit treason?

Talking nonsense!

All listen to me. Don't listen to his fallacies.

Treacherous officials sabotage the government.

Destroy our nation.

Are you okay?

- Why do you hit people? \N - What are you doing?

- Retreat, everyone. \N - Why do you hit people?

- Why do you hit people? \N - Tell us why you hit people.

- Right. Why? \N - Exactly. \N - All shut up!

- Why do you hit people? \N - Why?

Official.

Talk nonsense will harm the nation. It's ridiculous.

Aren't you going to back off quickly?

May I ask why Her Majesty is imprisoned?

Her Majesty is sick. She's recouping.

What imprisonment are you talking about?

Such nonsense!

But there is secret decree as evidence.

You guys shouldn't be involved with government affairs.

The nation's affairs are family affairs.

You Holiness has been teaching us this way.

In this case, please give us an explanation.

All right. I'll tell you then.

- First Senior Brother! \N - All back off!

For what I can give you, I can also take all back someday.

Those in the six Ivy schools are all my students.

From now on, don't interfere with government affairs!

Who dares to disagree?

- I... I... \N - First Senior Brother.

- First Senior Brother! \N - First Senior Brother!

- First Senior Brother! \N - First Senior Brother!

- First Senior Brother! \N - First Senior Brother!

- All of you back off! \N - All off you go back!

All soldiers, listen to me.

Escort all these students back to the academy and make sure they cause no trouble.

Anyone who defies shall be arrested right away!

All of you back off!

Senior Brother. Senior Brother.

What? You can't bear?

What I feared the most

still happened eventually.

Come back to the Demon Clan with me.

There's nothing for you to fear there.

You, the Demon Clan?

Isn't this a great opportunity for you, the Demon Clan, to invade?

Since the Human Clan is facing the biggest chaos soon,

do we still need to interfere?

After Her Majesty and His Holiness finish fighting for the throne...

You'll reap all the benefits?

What does the situation of the Human Clan have anything to do with you?

There's no place for you here.

You are reluctant to leave, right?

I guess you can't let go of Xu Yourong, right?

I'm just curious about one thing.

You've been wandering here for days.

Why haven't you gone to her?

You won't understand this.

For me, it's like a farewell ceremony.

Every place that I've walked was the place that she had walked on.

I can't get her now,

but if I don't wander around like this,

I won't be relieved for life.

It seems that what I have gotten is just the shell of you.

Do you really think you will feel relieved after visiting here?

Let me tell you. Xu Yourong is in the Li Palace right now.

And she's in danger.

It's unlucky that someone called Chen Changsheng is by her side.

You don't need to hate her anymore.

I won't see her again.

There is no place for me in the whole capital.

Maybe this is the time for me to say goodbye.

General, lately, His Holiness interacts with you very often.

He intended to help you get the military leadership. So does he want to?

I know what kind of person His Holiness is.

He's been loyal and dedicated to the country over the years.

There have been lots of rumors about him out there.

I don't believe he has the intention to usurp the throne.

But lately Her Majesty has stayed in seclusion and ignored government affairs.

The entire Zhou Empire is swaying in the midst of a raging storm.

At a crucial moment like this, it's very important to stand by the right person's side.

Women are short-sighted indeed.

The number one principle for a subject to serve the ruler is to be loyal.

Finding a backdoor once there is a sign of trouble

is a conduct that I disdain the most.

General, Chen Changsheng and his gang broke into the Li Palace.

Now, they've been trapped by His Holiness' people.

- Among them... \N - Say. \N - The Saintess is there as well.

- Go to the Li Palace with me. \N - Yes.

You've come a long way here. Why bother leaving?

- Qi Jian!\N- Qi Jian!

- Qi Jian.\N - Qi Jian.

None of you can think about leaving.

Stop!

You're being outrageous. Are you going to back off quickly?

Father, Her Majesty is gravely injured and cannot recover. She has been imprisoned.

His Holiness is plotting on usurping the throne. How can you be so muddled?

How can a girl get involved in something like this?

You're a general who's been regarded highly by Her Majesty.

- How can you stand by the traitor's side? \N - Nonsense!

His Holiness has dedicated himself to the country and the people.

How can you interfere with government affairs recklessly?

Hurry and come home with me!

I won't leave!

You don't even listen to me. You! I...

Sorry.

It's you brat again.

General Xu, you're here at the right time.

If you don't take back your beloved daughter,

I will discipline her for you.

I failed my duty of disciplining my kid.

I'm sorry, Your Holiness.

- Let's go. \N - Wait.

Xu Yourong, if you take over the Star Formation, you'll end up as another empress.

Do you think I will keep her alive and bring myself trouble in the future?

Your Holiness.

Don't forget that I always think highly of you.

This phoenix from your family has been out of your hand a long time ago.

If you can be ruthless by disowning her, you will be considered a real hero.

I will definitely make it up to you in the future.

If you can't do it, I can help you!

Step aside!

Your Holiness, I'll do it myself.

Father.

It's your fault. You don't listen to me.

Let's be father and daughter again in the next lifetime.
