Did Clergy Ying accept my decree?

How can he reject it? It's your decree.

Clergy Ying has always been the moral model of our government.

He is paramount and powerful.

Previously, in order to avoid arousing suspicion, he threatened with his life.

He surely knows where to draw the line.

Now, I've let the country know that he will take over as the regent.

I'm relieved.

Your Majesty, I'm still worried about your health.

Your Majesty, you can hide your wound from others but not me.

What have you noticed?

If there's any other choice,

you wouldn't have let His Holiness act as regent.

I'm okay. My wound isn't that bad.

I only need to rest a bit and do some cultivation. I will surely recover.

Silly girl, why are you so sad?

Of course, you need to remember.

Don't tell anyone know.

Your Majesty, be at ease.

Of course, I understand how crucial it is.

Is this the world for the dead?

Master said, after one died, their spiritual sense will return to the starry sky.

In the future, this lonely starry sky will be my home then.

I didn't knew that you would be the first who would be coming here after so many years.

Senior Zhou Dufu.

I'm able to meet you. This is great.

I didn't know that after I died, I would still be able to meet you again.

If you died, why would you come here?

But you, Senior, were clearly dead and I have also died.

Not live nor die. It's like in death but actually living.

Living or dying in the mundane world may not always be true.

When you reach to a certain level, you will naturally have the realization.

But I don't have chances anymore.

If I could have met you sooner and asked you about how to use the Star Map,

maybe I would have gotten a chance to change my fate.

So does that mean that you've gotten the Star Map but don't know how to use it?

You're such a talented guy!

Well, since we are destined to meet each other,

why don't you stay here and keep me company?

What? Are you unwilling to stay here?

I want to go back.

I want to stay alive.

Want to go back?

If you reached a certain level of cultivation, it's not impossible to go back.

But the cost is too high.

Someone from the mortal world would have to sacrifice their life and give up their body,

and then have their spiritual sense to travel here to take you back.

If this is my destiny, I don't want anyone else to suffer because of me.

Do you really think someone will sacrifice their life for you?

She will.

But I don't wish her to come here.

What's meant to be here will eventually be here.

I'm afraid a couple who's been through thick and thin, living and death,

will eventually separate from each other like two birds flying towards different directions.

If you haven't experienced death, you wouldn't have known your waiting may have been all in vain.

Senior, you sound pretty, sad, and cynical.

Have you been waiting for someone who's not here yet?

Life and death only happen in a blink of a thought.

But just because of this one thought, it lets me wait and carry on until now.

Life in the blink of a thought.

Death in the blink of a thought.

Joy in the blink of a thought.

Sorrow in the blink of a thought.

There's only a thin line between hope and despair sometimes.

Do you know?

Some destinies will be changed eventually.

Maybe because of your strong will,

you can fight destiny and change your fate.

Just wait.

I think we won't be so unlucky.

As long as I still have hope, I won't give up.

Your Holiness.

Miss Mo.

Your Holiness.

The Zhuque Palace is the most secretive place of the Zhou Empire.

Without Her Majesty's permission, nobody can set foot in it.

You're absolutely right, Miss Mo.

I totally understand.

But since Her Majesty let me take over the government affairs, I dare not to be lazy.

The Star Formation has a lot to do with the safety of the Zhou Empire and Her Majesty.

I just want to study the Star Formation to see if I can save the Zhou Empire.

Your Holiness, I totally understand your loyalty.

However...

Miss Mo, I won't make this hard for you.

I will visit Her Majesty myself and ask her for a few more decrees.

It's not too late to revisit here after that.

I take my leave.

His Holiness.

Miss Mo, what else do you want?

Since you're the acting ruler, you have the right to go anywhere you want in the palace.

Follow me.

Please.

Lately, there have been a lot of disasters and our people have been suffering.

However, our national treasury has been in debt for years and can't sustain itself.

I hope you guys can come up with some good ideas

so I can propose them to Her Majesty to stabilize the Star Formation.

We will remember what His Holiness just said.

Lately, there have been a lot of disasters happening among the Human Clan.

I think it's because the Star Formation is deteriorating.

Though I tried my best to fix it,

we still need you to do something to control it.

Well, I've appointed you as the acting ruler,

so I should let you know about the Star Formation and how to control the Star Formation.

Your Majesty, I won't dare to.

I've been exhausted mentally and physically over the years.

It's been lucky to have your help so the deceased emperor can rest in peace.

If I don't even trust you, who can I trust in the whole country?

I'm not experienced and knowledgeable enough.

I earnestly request Your Majesty to handle the Star Formation by yourself.

Don't worry.

When it comes to integrity and talent, you're the top candidate.

I appointed you as the acting ruler because I've made up my mind to have you take over the Star Formation a long time ago.

You once said you wouldn't give up on changing your fate even if you died.

I guess that's what I like about you, your stubbornness and seriousness.

I will also be stubborn and serious with you.

Till death,

I won't give up.

Changsheng, I miss you.

I believe that you won't give up.

Chansheng.

Changsheng, where are you?

Changsheng?

It won't work even if I continue doing this.

The starry sky is too wide.

Without Changsheng's guiding,

I won't be able to find his destined star.

Right, there's the Star Map.

How can I forgot about it?

Although I don't have the location of Changsheng's destined star, I can ignite my own destined star.

Then utilize the Star Map to trigger the resonation of Changsheng's destined star.

This is Mo Yu's destined star.

This is Tang Thirty-Six's.

This is Xuanjuan Po's destined star.

Changsheng, where is your destined star?

That's weird. What is wrong with my destined star?

Someone's calling for it.

But the star map...

It's Yourong.

It's Yourong's calling for my destined star.

Rong'er.

Changsheng.

It is really you.

You came to find me.

Congrats. You have gotten someone risking their life while you waited here, before me.

Senior, we have a chance to be saved. Don't we?

Rong'er, come say hello to Senior Zhou Dufu.

Are you Senior Zhou Dufu?

Of course, except for me,

who on earth can travel between heaven and earth solely with a piece of conciseness?

Senior Zhou, Changsheng and I have decided to be with each other no matter if we live or die.

Please allow us to be, Senior.

Little girl, do you only want to die with him by risking your life to travel here?

Changsheng can't die like this.

He's meant to fight destiny and change his fate.

What if he fails to fight destiny and change his fate?

I won't change my love even if his body becomes ashes.

You're lucky.

You have such a bosom lady next to you. You should cherish her.

I'm here to take Changsheng home.

Go back home?

Rong'er, have you forgotten that I already died?

It is not like that. You haven't died yet.

I won't leave you here alone.

I want to take your spiritual sense back.

Actually, you have one piece of spiritual sense left and I can try my best to send you too back.

It is your luck if you can go back alive.

Luck?

Miss, since you risked your life to travel here, maybe you should give it a try with him?

My luck won't be too bad, either.

Changsheng.

Changsheng.

Changsheng, wake up!

Didn't you promised me that you would come back alive?

You can't lie to me.

Changsheng...

Changsheng, wake up!

Wake up!

Don't leave me alone.

Changsheng, you aren't allowed to lie to me.

You already told me that you would come back alive.

I really miss you very much!

I really miss you very much!

Changsheng...

Rong'er.

I was so worried earlier that you would not be able to wake up anymore.

Silly girl, how can I not come back since you're still in this world?

If one day, I...

Wherever you go, is wherever I'll follow.

Okay.

Mister had a corpse bounce. \N (T/N: A corpse starts to move as a living person)

A corpse bounce... A corpse bounce.

Mister had a corpse bounce.

What has happened?

Mis... Mister had a corpse bounce. It is gone.

Go look for it now!

Did you really forget Chen Changsheng?

What do you mean? Of course, I still remember him.

He's my teacher.

Maybe forgetting something can bring you happiness.

What are you talking about?

Should I remember a lot of things about him?

Or have I really forgotten something?

You really liked Chen Changsheng in the past.

Stop it. Your joke isn't funny at all.

He's my teacher.

Although I appreciate his talent indeed,

otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen him as my teacher.

I'm Bai Luoheng, okay?

Forget it. He broke your heart any way.

It's good to just forget about him.

See. It's been a while since we saw the light from the library.

Ever since Chen Changsheng...

The ultimate meaning of cultivation has no sign of life, death, joy or sorrow.

But everything is produced from the heart.

Congrats. You've figured out another enlightenment.

I also have many thoughts that I want to discuss with you,

but now...

I just want to take a good look at you.

Thirty-Six, did you see it? Did you see it?

I see it. How did... How did he... Pinch me.

Am I dreaming?

- Did it hurt? \N - Yes, it hurt.

Mister, you're not a corpse bounce, are you?

Thirty-Six, Xuanyuan, I am back.

You're back to life! I knew you couldn't bear to leave us.

Yes. I came back alive.

He has heartbeats. He's warm, warm!

It is real! Real! Real! Real!

Real!

Her Highness! Her Highness! Her Highness!

Her Highness! Mister, Mister, he...

What is he?

He came back alive.

Say it again! Chen... Chen Changsheng came back alive!

Then, I am going to look for him.

- You say he came back alive. \N - Yes.

It is quite good.

Then just come with me to look at him.

Chen Changsheng you are alive.

Let me see! Let me see!

- Let me see. Let me see. \N - Enough. Enough.

Enough. You can take a break. Good girl. Good girl.

Yourong.

This? Chen Changsheng?

It is really you.

I must tell Her Majesty about this. You guys wait here, okay?

You Highness Luo Luo, your teacher came back to life.

You hurry up and go see him. I'll go tell Her Majesty.

Lou Lou!

- Teacher. \N - Lou Lou.

Ha!

What is wrong with you?

I... I am fine.

Teacher, it's so great you could be back.

Congratulations, Teacher.

I was in a rush so I didn't bring any gift.

I'll make up for it later.

Luo Luo, when have we ever been so estranged?

How?

It's just that there is the seniority order and the difference between men and women.

So it's better for me to follow etiquette.

Besides, Teacher, you should nurse your health.

I will have people send you some medicine to help nurture it,

then I am leaving now.

What's wrong with this girl today?

She's been abnormal lately.

Mother, I am back.

You are really back.

Changsheng...

You're really back.

Everything has passed.

I am really back.

Mother,

has...

has wronged you.

I won't leave you anymore.

I am really happy to have a mother like you.

I heard everything you said that day.

I heard every single word.

I will never lose you again.

I am your son always.

Yes.

Changsheng, although your spiritual sense has returned,

your muscle and vessels have been broken.

It's all because of the backfire from the Star Formation.

It's also why you couldn't make it to twenty years old.

I've decided to use the Star Formation to rebuild your muscle and vessels and give you a new life.

That's right. Mother, I've figured out the Star Formation's rule of change.

Senior Zhou Dufu has also taught me all the secrets of the Star Map.

- Zhou Dufu? \N - Yes.

Where is he?

My spiritual sense once met him briefly in the starry sky.

He taught me a lot.

Now I've the full enlightenment.

I had another level of understanding of Taoism.

Thank you, God, for giving my son a lot of luck.

Although the power of the Star Formation can rebuild my muscle and vessels,

it will also drain your blood and nascent soul.

Mother, based on your current power, I fear...

This is what I'm supposed to do for you.

I should make up for my mistakes back then.

I feel so lucky to just be back to life.

I don't wish for more than that.

You haven't recovered yet.

If you forcefully use your nascent soul...

Stop.

Someone will take charge of the Star Formation automatically.

But I only want to be a mother

to stay by my son's side.

If that's case, allow me to use what Zhou Dufu taught me about the Star Map to help you.

Good.

Let's change the damn fate together as mother and son.

Okay.

Your Majesty!

Your Majesty, you're awake.

Changsheng, he...

Changshen just left. He said that he will come back to visit you again tomorrow.

Your Majesty, don't worry.

Changsheng is doing well now.

It's all because you've rebuilt his muscle and vessels.

If he's safe,

I will be relieved.

Your Majesty, nobody knows you've rebuilt Changsheng's muscle and vessels.

Then, it is good.

I've challenged destiny by rebuilding Changsheng's muscle and vessels, and changing his fate.

I don't think my wound will heal easily.

I will focus on healing my wound in seclusion.

About the government affairs...

Don't worry.

I know how to handle it.

Your Majesty, this is the medicine Changsheng made for you.

This is what he made for me?

Yes. Hurry and drink more.

Your body will then heal faster.

Miss Mo.

Your Holiness, nice to see you.

The power of stars stored in the Star Formation was very strong a few days ago.

Why is it so weak today?

Her Majesty once said, there's loophole in the Star Formation.

It has been getting harder and harder to control over the years.

They say "it's hard to predict the destiny of the stars."

Maybe it'll be better in a few days.

I think it'll be very difficult.

I also think so.

Once the Star Formation collapses, what can we use to fight the Demon Clan?

Hasn't Her Majesty recovered yet?

Her Majesty's health is fine.

But she's been downhearted because of Changsheng's death.

She doesn't want to be involved in the mortal world anymore.

That's why she gave the power to be the acting ruler to you.

Speaking of that, I still feel uneasy about it.

There have been some different talks within the government.

I think you've also heard about them.

Her Majesty has written the decree by herself.

Your Holiness, you only need to take care of the government affairs.

Who on earth can get everybody's approval and receive no criticism at all?

Ms. Mo, although you're young, you see it through.

Her Majesty taught me well.

Chen Changsheng managed to escape from death.

Her Majesty should have been overjoyed.

Why is she still disheartened?

Of course, Her Majesty is happy about Chen Changsheng waking up.

But Her Majesty is still just a woman.

Because of Chen Changsheng, Her Majesty only wants to be a good mother at this point.

I don't know when will she take charge of the government affairs again.

We are counting on you to work harder, Your Holiness.

Being in a position that's only second to Her Majesty

makes me worried day and night.

I want to see Her Majesty and request to resign.

Her Majesty is in seclusion within the palace and she won't see anyone.

Your Holiness, you've known her for years. You know her personality.

When the time is right, I will invite you to the palace and meet her.

Ms. Mo, thank you in advance then.

Having a long conversation with Changsheng surely brought me to another level.

Since my mind is super clear at this moment, I should focus on the cultivation in order to help Her Majesty.

A peaceful mind will reach the sky and abandon mortal life.

Xuanyuan, I haven't asked you yet. Why would Luo Luo's personality change so much?

Right. In the past she was always lingering by Changsheng's side.

Why did she become a stranger suddenly?

I... I don't know, either.

You're the closest to her. Are you hiding something from us?

Say it.

Could it be that something wrong happened during her cultivation?

It won't do. I need to go see her.

No... Mister!

My guess is... she's been annoyed a little bit lately.

She will be better soon.

Well, you haven't told us how you woke up.

Right. We all thought you were dead, but you actually woke up.

I also want to know.

I managed to wake up because of Yourong.

That's something we can't have no matter how jealous we are.

Having a saintess fiance surely is different from us.

Besides, when my spiritual sense was traveling in the starry sky, I met Senior Zhou Dufu.

He gave me all the Star Map secrets that benefits me quite a lot.

Star Map?

Can he help you change your fate?

Well, people surely have different luck.

When I was flying in the sky, someone shot an arrow at me and had me fall.

See? That's your destiny.

The mystery of the Star Map is way too profound. It's hard to describe.

If we can figure out and control the mystery,

maybe we won't even be trapped by the current time and dimension, let alone changing fate.

Then, if the current time and dimension can't trap us, what will happen?

Then we can travel from the past to the future, from the previous life to the current life.

That's the so-called level of ultra-freedom.

Mister, you're incredible, being able to figure out all of these things.

This is just my guess.

After all, our level is still far from Senior Zhou Dufu's level.

We may not be seeing that day before we die.

As far as I know, nobody has seen his body ever since he passed away.

Could it be that he's not dead?

I don't know what cultivation level he's managed to achieve.

But I'm sure about one thing.

That is this land can't restrict him anymore.

Are you saying that he's not dead at all indeed?

I only know the so-called "changing your fate" means avoiding your fate being controlled by the stars.

Just like Senior Zhou Dufu.

Think about it. These stars reflect light on one another.

You will think it's all accidental.

But the truth is, it's predicting what's gonna happen in the mortal world.

If we can understand these types of secrets of the universe,

we will at least have some power to change the set destiny.

If that's the case, let's also explore the secrets of the Star Map.

Okay. Okay. Okay.

Let's go together. Let's see if we can control our own destined stars and affect one another.

Isn't that Little Rong'er's destined star?

How can it?

Yourong? Yourong.

Where is Mister?

Didn't he say he would lead us to study the Star Map?

- Why would he...\N- Wait.

Did you hear something just then?

My spiritual sense just got back. How could I hear anything?

I may have heard him calling the Saintess' name.

Maybe something bad happened again?

Rong'er.

Changsheng, you came.

Your nascent soul hasn't recovered yet.

Why did you forcefully connect your spiritual sense to the destined star

and get backfired by the power of the star?

What you do is too dangerous.

I learned a lot from the conversation with you a few days ago.

So I couldn't resist but to give it a try.

But my nascent soul hasn't recovered. I was being reckless.

You can't rush it when you cultivate yourself. Take your time.

I'm not rushing to improve my own cultivation.

But...

What is it?

After you had the accident, I promised Her Majesty to take over the Star Formation for her

and protect us, the Human Clan, from disturbance with the power of the stars.

It's also what you hoped for in the past.

Now His Holiness is the acting ruler. He's very knowledgeable and mature.

There shouldn't be any big problem.

Her Majesty warned me that the control of the Star Formation is affecting the safety of our people.

I can't believe anyone except for myself.
