[Fighter of the Destiny]

[Episode 30]

Like what?

Have you been to the Human Clan?

There are flowers in the spring and snow in the winter.

There's also a city over there called Shendu; towering, magnificent and beautiful.

Inside are all shops of many different colors. It's full of fun things!

Shendu?

I think Zhou Dufu has mentioned it before.

You know Zhou Dufu?

I not only know him, but I also...

You two want me to spill information, don't you?

I'm telling you, I won't fall for it.

Whatever you say has no use.

I'm going to put you all into the medicinal furnace and refine you into precious medicine.

Come on!

Yourong, this little child's origin...

I don't think he is human.

He might be a mountain monster who has refined himself.

We have to quickly leave this place.

Otherwise, he will really turn us into medicine.

Little Brother, could this be the medicinal furnace left behind by Zhou Dufu?

Of course not.

Oh, I know.

You guys said you were passing by,

but you guys are clearly here to look for the pill furnace.

Then, do you know where that pill furnace is?

That pill furnace

has intelligence and perception. It is especially smart.

How could this stupid, big stove compare to that?

You must have seen it.

Not only seen it, I am...

You two are trying to make me spill information again!

I'm going to ignore you guys.

Zhangsun Grass, Jinquian Peony Root

and Qi Yue Pu.

People have a dirty and filthy energy.

I need to add some Ming Quezi to remove the stink.

Your prescription is not right.

What's not right?

Qi Yue Pu's medicinal property is extremely hot

and readily goes off. I'm afraid you've exceeded the dose.

What do you know?

Human's nature is resolutely dark. Without adding large amounts of Qi Yue Pu, it's medicinal properties can't be used to stew.

Even so, Zhangsun grass's medicinal property is extremely cold.

It will clash with Qi Yue Pu's medicinal properties.

It turns out that you also know about medicine.

- I know a little. \N - You know a little?

If you only know a little then shut up!

There's no pharmacology that I don't understand in this world.

Even though the Zhangsun Grass clashes with Qi Yue Pu's medicinal properties,

but Qi Yue Pu's component is too strong. If you don't use Zhangsun Grass to restrain it,

then there's no way the precious medicine that is refined can be taken.

Even though Ming Quezi can remove the smell,

but there are other uses. I'm afraid you just can't think of it.

What result?

The potency of Ming Quezi is very accurate.

If they are boiled together, I'm afraid that it'll destroy Jinqian Peony Root's relaxing effect.

There really is some reason.

The world is full of wonders.

How can anyone know everything about it?

I know everything of it.

If I show you some herbs, I don't think you can recognize them all.

You're bragging.

Then let us bet.

If you cannot recognize the medicine that I have,

then you have to let us go.

You're such a fool. Looking for a dead road.

If you really recognize it, the two of us will willingly become your medicine.

The pills will be much more potent.

All right.

Timing and Subtitles brought to you by the Subbers of the Destiny @ Viki

Go further. I need to teach her how to get the medicine.

You're not allowed to eavesdrop.

I won't eavesdrop.

Don't follow me.

I won't follow.

Here, little boy. Take a look.

What is this? It's burned and salty.

This is the medicine you have to recognize.

This disgusting plate of stuff is the medicine you guys speak of?

You guys better not have poisoned this.

I am resistant to all poisons.

We don't have bad intentions like you do.

If you lose, just let us go.

Why does it smell like chicken feet cane?

But it's so spicy.

It tastes horrible!

What is it? There are Kong Pepper and Spick Anzi in it.

Don't speak any nonsense. Can you tell what kind of medicine this is?

This isn't medicine. Don't lie to people.

If you accept that you've lost, I'll tell you what it is.

You have to keep your promise.

Otherwise, you will meet the wrath of Heaven.

If you lie to me, I'll be very rude to you.

As long as you let us go, we will definitely tell you what kind of medicine this is.

All right, I've let you guys go. Tell me what kind of medicine this is.

- Okay, the medicine is called Shanzhen Ci Longya. \N- What?

This is that?

This can cure sicknesses?

This medicine can only cure one kind of sickness.

What kind of sickness needs this kind of horrible tasting medicine?

Hunger.

You guys lied to me and acted shamelessly!

We didn't act shamelessly. This can cure the sickness of hunger.

You guys are really cunning.

Little boy,

you seem kind and innocent. That makes people like you.

Of course! I'm good at everything!

Then you must be very familiar with medicines on the furnace peak, right?

I can be sure of one thing. As long as they're at the peak,

there's nothing that I can't find or recognize.

Of course.

Other that Zhou Dufu's pill furnace, you can definitely find everything else.

Who said that I couldn't find the pill furnace?

Stupid mortals, let me show you something.

Look at me.

What did you do?

Do you still not understand? He is the pill furnace boy.

Ancients books have recordings of spells used to suppress such gremlins.

I've sealed him so that he can't change back.

Let me out! Liar!

Let me out! Let me out!

Let me out!

Seven tenths of it tastes sour, the rest taste astringent.

This kind of smell and the shape of the leaf... It should be Yu Yan Grass.

Smell, this is very fragrant.

This is Ning Xue Xiang. In this weather, it will emit fragrances.

Then does it have any medicinal purposes?

Of course. It's purpose is to enrich the blood.

Then hold this.

I'll go look somewhere else.

Why can't I smell it?

Chen Changsheng! Chen Changsheng!

You fool.

Such a strong smell, can't you smell it?

Don't mention this again.

All right. I understand, you don't want Xu Yourong to know.

However, what do you not want her to know?

You're afraid she will be angry about your carelessness?

Or are you afraid of her finding out that you don't have your sense of smell?

This pill furnace is pretty and clean and also has intelligence.

It looks like we can't deceive him.

Of course!

Since there's nothing you don't know, you must know how to start a fire.

Of course, I know how to.

Don't ask him. He doesn't know.

You're speaking nonsense! How could I not know how to?

For a Spiritual Pill furnace like me, mortal fire can not light me up.

It has to be the refined blood of Dragon and Phoenix.

That way, it can trigger the fire.

Blood of Dragon and Phoenix.

I've finally arrived at Pill Furnace Peak.

Junior Sister, are you still here?

Yourong! Don't!

Yourong! Don't be silly.

The pill furnace may have deceived us.

Do you know the consequences of losing the true Blood of the Phoenix?

Of course, I know.

If you lose it, you won't be able to cultivate for your Great Cause.

I think that this is all worth it.

I understand so well how peaceful and and joyful it is when cultivating for the Cause.

This feeling can't be replaced by worldly enjoyments.

I don't want you to lose this kind of ability.

Don't tell me that I should just watch the person I like die.

Who said that I would die?

You're becoming weaker and weaker every day.

How could you not know?

Changsheng, tell me.

If we are unable to make the magical medicine, how many days do we have left?

One hundred days, one thousand days, ten thousand days.

I, Cheng Changsheng, will not surrender to Heaven's will.

No matter what decision you make, I will always accompany you.

Yourong.

Junior Sister!

Junior Sister!

Junior Sister, how are you? Are you all right?

Why are you so silly?

You are still weak. Devoting yourself with Phoenix blood will make you doomed eternally!

I want to save Chen Changsheng. I have no other choice.

Only the blood of the Dragon or Phoenix can light up the pill furnace.

He killed Guan Feibai, yet you're using your life to go save him!

Senior Brother... He...

Yes.

In the Zhou Garden, Feibai died.

Let go of Yourong!

Changsheng, you've misunderstood.

Senior Brother has come here to save me.

I saw him hurt Qijian with my own eyes.

He almost killed his fellow disciples.

With that kind of intention, how could he save people?

Yes. In the Zhou Garden, I was controlled by the Demon Clan.

My mind was being controlled.

The me at that time wasn't the real me.

I didn't mean to hurt you guys.

Later, I used my power by force, and controlled my mind and heart. I controlled my mind. I tried to stay clear-minded.

However, after I woke up, I forgot everything that happened.

Senior Brother! Senior Brother!

So Chen Changsheng, the me at that time wasn't the real me.

No matter what you say, I won't believe you.

This time, a lot of unforseen events happened in the Zhou Garden.

If you didn't help the Demon Clan, a lot of people wouldn't have died.

Senior Brother, you really hurt Qijian?

The memories I had then, are broken.

I only remember pieces of it.

To me, at that time, they were all Demons!

They were all Demons!

You still want to act like a good person in front of Yourong?

You're pushing all the blame onto the Demon Clan.

You're very hypocritical.

Fine. Since it's like this,

I will return everything that I owe you.

Senior Brother!

Right now, we are in the Demon Clan territory.

I don't want us to hurt and kill each other.

Whether it's Changsheng or Senior Brother,

we are to find out the truth after we leave the Demon Clan territory and return to Shendu.

Qiushan Jun says that I am a Demon Clan spy and that I killed Guan Feibei.

Do you believe that?

I don't believe it.

Your answer is so certain. You didn't even think about it.

Trust doesn't need thought.

Do you trust Qiushan Jun the same way?

You and I both have encountered illusion formations.

Sometimes, what you see with your own eyes may not be the truth.

Yourong, I think that you've really been given a difficult problem.

If you believe Qiushan Jun, you have to suspect me.

Before the truth comes out, it's hard for me to say who is right and who is wrong.

But right now, I choose trust.

I won't let the Demon Clan laugh to the end.

Rong'er, I finally understand why everyone calls you the Saintess.

Because I'm really boring?

Just kidding. It's because you're wise.

I promise you. When we leave the Demon Clan territory and head back to Shendu,

we will find out the truth between Qiushan Jun and me. We will give you an explanation.

Little Black Dragon!

You dare to take my true Phoenix blood!

I'm imprisoned in the underground chill pool by that old lady.

You used your Phoenix blood to help her imprison me.

You made me lose my freedom. I really hate you!

Tasting a drop of your Phoenix blood, it's no big deal!

Do you know how important that drop of blood is?!

- I don't care! \N- Spit it out!

I won't!

You!

Junior Sister, how are you? Are you all right?

It must because the tiring journey. I feel a bit out of form.

It's not because of the tiring journey.

You are obviously anemic.

Were you drawing out your Phoenix blood just now?

Don't make it public. I don't want Changsheng to worry.

Junior Sister! You've almost lost your life!

Yet you still care about whether or not he worries!

You used to be such a smart person.

But now, why are you being so foolish?!

Even if you do this and he lives,

what's the point if you die?!

If you had to choose,

would you choose to live painfully,

or to die satisfied?

What?

This is my choice.

Even if I die earlier than him,

after all, I'd suffer less pain.

I've chosen.

If Chen Changsheng is willing to die, I am also unwilling to live alone.

Since it is like this, I will save Chen Changsheng.

I definitely will not let you die.

I also have the blood that the pill furnace needs.

You have no reason to save him.

Junior Sister, don't you know anything about whom is making me sacrifice so much?

Don't tell me that you do not know.

I don't know if I can still leave Pill Furnace Mountain,

but there is something that I really want to ask you.

In this life, have you done something that you've regretted?

Something I've regretted...

Feibai!

Why did it have to be you?!

Qiushan Jun, you're hit by Qi Deviation.

Qiushan Jun, it's not too late to turn back.

Feibai, Feibai!

If I tell you that I hurt Qijian at the Zhou Garden...

That is...

That is the thing I regret the most.

Do you believe me?

I believe you.

Everyone will always do something that they will regret later on.

The important things are the choices you make afterwards.

Some people chose to continue to make bad choices

which then led to the difference between humans and monsters.

Furthermore, at that time, you were acting involuntarily.

Then in your heart, am I a Human or a Demon?

In my heart, you have always been my senior brother.

The one who cares for me so much.

The one who always stands by my side when danger is near.

Even if you can't get anything in return,

you never complain.

After so many years,

I thought that you didn't know about everything that I had done.

Senior Brother, I'm sorry.

The thing I cannot reciprocate in this life is love.

So, please, do not spend so much time and thought on me.

Uncle Jin, Her Highness still won't eat anything?

She is worrying about the whereabouts of Chen Changsheng.

No wonder. There is still no news after so long.

I'm afraid that everything bodes ill and there are no positive signs.

Not possible! My teacher will be fine!

Your Highness, Mister and the Saintess have disappeared in the Demon's territory for so long,

they still haven't sent word back yet.

It's far and dangerous in the Demon's territory.

No matter how much you worry, there is no use.

Why not...

just eat some food? It tastes really good.

Even eating cannot stop you from speaking your inauspicious remarks!

No matter if it's the Demon's territory or one of the most dangerous places, I will definitely find Teacher.

Right... I will go to the Demon Clan to look for him.

You Highness, don't cause trouble.

When you were in the Sacred Capital, Black Robe sent people to assassinate you.

If you go to the Demon Clan, it will be like sending a lamb to a tiger's den.

I am the tiger, all right?

Anyway, something must have happened to Teacher if he hasn't sent word back for so long.

I am his most favorite disciple. I will definitely go save him.

Your Highness!

Your Highness, you cannot go.

I need to hurry. Stop wasting my time. Take good care of Goujiao Academy.

But Your Highness, you're really going to the Demon Clan to find Teacher?

What else?

Don't worry. I'll definitely bring back good news.

No. I don't feel reassured if you go by yourself.

Don't worry. I'm bringing a lot of treasures.

But... does General Jin know?

You, don't be so troublesome.

What should I do now? It's too dangerous.

What if there's an assassin? Then...

- Xuanyuan. \N- Huh?

What's with you?

You've come at the right time. Just now Her Highness said that she was going to the Demon Clan to go look for Teacher.

She wouldn't let me follow either.

We don't have any news here.

The Demon territory is so big. Where would she go to look?

What if she meets an assassin? The Demon Clan people are bad.

They will definitely harm Her Highness.

How are we going to help her if we can't find her?

What should we do?

What are you saying? It can't be as bad as that.

After all, it's Luo Luo, the daughter of Emperor Bai.

She's a tiger.

No, we must go rescue her and Changsheng.

How about this. I will go help Her Highness first.

You stay here and come fetch us after I help her out.

Sounds good, you must be careful.

I'm leaving.

You got bitten by the snake.

Thank you.

Don't you feel anything?

I am a dying person.

Near-death, losing the five senses, and all connections with the outside world.

When I'm about to die, I'll leave Yourong.

I know that she wouldn't live if I died.

I hope you will use all of your power to bring her away from here.

Don't worry. I will definitely use all my power to complete this wish of yours.

Right, there's something else I want to ask.

If you want to ask me about the happenings in the Zhou Garden, I am unable to explain it.

I can only say at the time, mounting a sneak attack and hurting Qijian,

it wasn't the real me.

All right. Being in the Demon territory, we don't need to hurt each other.

We will make a decision after we get back to Shendu.

I also have something to ask.

The Empress has commanded us to look for the Star Map's location,

but we do not have any results. I don't know if...

I have already collected the Star Map.

You have already collected it?

In order to go against Heaven and change my destiny, I had to.

Then what is the Star Map like?

I actually want you to see it. However, it is not a tangible map.

It only exists in my thoughts.

That's good. Anyhow, it is good news.

Forget about controlling me!

Right now, even you want to get rid of my control.

I'm telling you, stop dreaming about gaining the Star Map.

That Star Map is in the mind of Chen Changsheng.

I have no way of obtaining it.

If it's like that, then can you just kill me right now?

That is correct.

With Chen Changsheng's capabilities, he should be able to remember the Star Map and put it on a jade plate.

He won't give it to me!

Normally he wouldn't, but what about at a time when life and death is concerned?

What?

What are you planning on doing?

I have incinerated my star for you.

I hope it was worth it.

It was Black Robe.

In the end, he chased after us here after all.

Lead the Army of Demons to Pill Furnace Peak.

Chen Changsheng, Xu Yourong, and Qiushan Jun are stuck in the medicine mountain.

The incarnations of the Dragon and Phoenix will be turned into the best pill the world has ever seen.

If their location is let out, help will immediately come.

It would be a perfect chance for us to eradicate elites of the Human Clan.

Qiushan Jun, are you truly willing to die with that damn couple?

Come on. Slower.

The Pill Furnace Peak has been surrounded by an unnatural aura lately. It's beautiful.

This place does look like a pill furnace.

Why didn't we notice it before?

Our trade with the Demons have always been unnerving and hasty.

If it weren't for those soaring flames today, we probably wouldn't even look twice over there.

It seems like it's not just a wildfire.

I heard that the pill furnace Zhou Dufu left behind is on the mountain.

I don't know if it's true or not.

Zhou Dufu? If he left behind a pill furnace, people would've taken it a long time ago.

Elites of Demons are rushing there along this way. It seems that something is about to happen.

No matter how hard we try, we can't get through this enchanted barrier.

Furthermore, right now our location has been exposed.

The Demon Clan could come up this mountain at any moment.

The malicious Black Robe definitely won't let us go.

Then, we can have a deciding battle.

If we fight directly, we are unlikely to win.

I'm going to look somewhere else, and see if I can find any weak spots on this barrier.

What a rare visitor!

Since you've come to the Demon Clan's territory, then don't leave.

You're so annoying. Why are you everywhere?!

I can't kill Xu Yourong, but that doesn't mean I can't kill you!

Then why don't you try?!

Your Highness.

Chen Changsheng's pill furnace is still cooking.

I'll just see how far you guys can go.

You bear, you didn't listen to me again.

Didn't I tell you to keep watch at the Guojiao Academy?

How could I not be worried about you coming to the Demon territory alone?

All right, then we will go save teacher together.

If not for Teacher, I would've been disabled a long time ago.

So, I will definitely help you save him.

We just don't know where he is right now.

I've heard that something strange is happening around the Pill Furnace Peak.

I want to go over there to take a look.

I haven't seen Teacher in so long. I really miss him.

Yeah. I miss him a lot as well.

Thanks to Teacher, I am now closer to achieving my dream of becoming an amazing general.

Your Highness, did you know,

I used to be a very ordinary kid.

I only knew how to dream. I dreamed about becoming a big hero.

Don't laugh at me.

I'm especially thankful to you, Teacher, and Thirty-Six.

You guys helped me change so, so much.

So, I believe that if I return to the Bear Clan one day,

Dad and Mom will be really astonished.

Your Highness, thank you.

Your Highness.

I have just observed the Star Formation and found the whereabouts of Yourong.

That is great news!

Right now, she is at the Demon Clan's Pill Furnace Peak.

The light of her Life Star is dim. Something bad may have happened to her.

It will be hard for her to safely return to Shendu.

I am willing to go to the Demon Clan to help save Yourong.

Right now, only you can do this.

Your Highness, please do not worry.

I will use all of my power to bring Yourong back here.

Be careful yourself.

Yes.

Go.

Who is it?

It's me.

Come in.

It's so late. It's inconvenient for a man and a woman to be together.

I will just say it here.

It's so late, why are you here?

What's so urgent?

Tomorrow, I'm going to the Demon Clan to look for Yourong.

That's such a dangerous place! You're not prepared yet, why are you in such a hurry to go?

No matter. I'm following orders.

Even if the Empress didn't order me to,

Yourong and I are like sisters. Of course, I'm worried about her.

- Then you... \N- I came to tell you this.

Yourong and Chen Changsheng should still be alive.

If I don't come back...

What are you saying?

If I said that you can come back, how could you not be able to come back?

Goodbye.

You're leaving so quickly. Are you trying to ditch me?

- I'm leaving with you. \N - With me?

Did you really think that you could get rid of me?

Little Black Dragon! You're finally awake.

I've been worried about you.

I woke up a long time ago.

Chen Changsheng, do you think that it's getting hotter here?

Soon, you're going to be like a cooked duck. You won't be able to fly even if you wanted to.

Now, I am powerless.

Do you know of a way to get out of here?

How can this small formation puzzle me, the Frost Black Dragon?

I hate the sizzling hot weather the most.

Step back, step back, step back.

Zhusha,

I've already looked at it.

This barrier shouldn't restrict your soul.

- Leave. \N - Why should I leave?

You are still here. Where would I go?

What do you think I am?

But I have Xu Yourong now.

Leave. I don't want her to be burdened.

Chen Changsheng, what are you saying?

I'm saying that you're a burden.

From now on we will each walk our own path.

Chen Changsheng, who do you think you are to be telling me to leave?

I refuse to leave!

Chen Changsheng, you're crazy!

I'm telling you, if you leave,

I'll never go find you again!

I...

Chen Changsheng, stop right there!

One, two, three...

Why are you being so inconvenient when going on a journey?

You're bringing more things than a girl.

The Demon Clan isn't a fun place.

These are all my inventions. They will definitely be useful.

Which one will be useful?

How is it? Are you guys hot?

A little bit.

Keep calm, and you'll feel cooler.
