Master.

Ke'er, the injuries you've incurred from the fight with Mo Yu, are you feeling better?

Thank you for your concerns. I'm fully recovered.

I'm useless. I didn't find the key.

But I'm certain about one thing, the key must be at the Goujiao Academy.

I'm 80% certain that it's with Chen Changsheng.

Next time I make my move, I'll definitely find the key.

Last time, we drew so much attention.

That woman Tianhai must be watching now.

For now, don't go to the Academy.

In case you get targeted by her men.

All the obstacles that are in the way of the Demon Clan from resurrecting, must die.

Chen Changsheng!

I said you can't go to the Goujiao Academy.

But I didn't say you can't touch the people in Goujiao Academy.

That Chen Changsheng must have a lot of people protecting him from behind the scenes.

This time, I will make my move personally.

As long as that Chen Changsheng leaves the Guojiao Academy,

I won't let him return again.

Can I ask, who is Chen Changsheng?

I am.

My mistress has a letter for you.

Goodbye.

[From: Xu Yourong]

[I'll meet you outside the forest this afternoon.] \N[From: Xu Yourong]

Nanke? Why would she be in the Sacred Capital?

I'll pretend to be afraid of you just this once.

An illusion.

The back and forth flow of Yin Yang images in the world. Shield!

Since you asked me out, I've come to meet you.

Nanke, where's Xu Yourong?

You're so concerned about Xu Yourong?

I'm so curious.

Tell me, what's so good about Xu Yourong?

What exactly do you want?

What do I want? You're about to find out.

This barrier is made from Heaven and Earth. You can't break it.

If you want to live then hand over the keys to the Zhou Garden.

I've told you so many times now, I have nothing to do with the Zhou Garden.

Even if I do, I won't hand them over to you, the Demon Clan.

How hateful.

Lucky. It was a trap. Good thing I made preparations earlier.

Liu Ding Liu Jia. Change form and teleport!

You must be Chen Changsheng? Nice enchantment.

- Black Robe. \N- You know me?

I shall cut the crap. Where's the keys to Zhou Garden?

The keys to Zhou Garden... are at...

Master!

Chen Changsheng is full of tricks. We mustn't let him off.

Don't worry, I've already pinpointed his spiritual energy. He can't run too far.

You are growing faster than my hair.

Can I beg you to shrink a little?

Forget it.

Are you injured?

Miss Chujian, we have met again.

This is the Taiqing pill. It'll help you heal.

There's no poison.

That's not what I meant. Thank you.

It was a close call just now. I almost died.

What happened?

I just bumped into Black Robe. He insisted that I had the keys to Zhou Garden.

This is so frustrating.

You have the keys to Zhou Garden with you?

How can I have the keys to Zhou Garden?

But he didn't believe me. Thank goodness I escaped fast.

Right, you better leave quickly. He is going to catch up with me soon.

Let's leave together.

My spiritual energy has been pinpointed by him.

Besides, I'm injured. I can't run fast.

Then I won't abandon you either.

What should I do with you?

Since we can't run, let's hide for a while.

You're going to set up your formation?

I'm not sure if there's enough time left.

It's hard to tell that you've learned a lot.

Not only do you have vast knowledge in herbs and medicine, but you also know how to set up formations.

Because I never boast.

You are thick-skinned, too.

That's because I have a thick-skinned Master.

But to my knowledge, Black Robe is also good at matrix formations.

He can see through simple formations easily.

Don't worry, my Small Circular Hidden Formation can shield the six senses and block spiritual connections.

No matter how powerful Black Robe is, he won't find us.

Are you sure this will work?

Absolutely.

But I can't see where the power of this formation lies.

Vacant and illusion. Make invisible!

What's so good about this?

Don't worry. He won't be able to see us.

Small circulatory hiding formation.

Looks like I'm lucky today. I captured the two of you together.

Find them both.

Xuan Yuan, where did Changsheng go?

Oh, Mister went out.

Went out? Where did he go?

Just now. Xu Yourong sent someone with a letter, saying to meet outside the city, so he left.

Why did you put a leaf on your face? Isn't this what girls use?

You don't understand.

I'm beautifying myself inside and out.

Speaking of which, you seem pretty knowledgeable about this kind of stuff.

What? Everyone knows about these things.

I understand. You're only concerned about Your Highness.

Anyway, you said that Chen Changsheng asked Xu Yourong out? Why are they meeting without any reasons?

It's Xu Yourong who asked Chen Changsheng out.

Then why did they meet each other?

Something seems amiss.

- Elder Senior. \N- Apprentice Brother, what is it?

Nothing. I just saw Chen Changsheng.

He rushed off in a hurry. Said he was meeting Xu Yourong at the Sansheng River.

If there's nothing, I'll make a move first.

Why are you so anxious to see me?

Mo Yu, Chen Changsheng is meeting Xu Yourong. Do you think the Xu Family is trying to kill him?

Impossible. Why would they meet with each other?

What? It isn't Xu Yourong?

Then it's a trap?

Crap! Is someone trying to hurt Chen Changsheng! We should hurry.

Hey... Hey, what are you doing?

Chen Changsheng is in danger. We need to help him.

What does that have to do with me?

Of course, it involves you. You are Xu Yourong's best friend.

If they can use her name to meet Chen Changsheng then she's been tricked, too.

Aren't you worried that something would happen to her?

That seems to make sense.

Where is Chen Changsheng?

Let's discuss it on the way.

- Tell me...\N- He's at the Western end.

That was close. It was all that snakes fault.

So to say the perfect formation of yours

needs a clever snake to cooperate with you?

We are the one's working together to escape. Not the snake.

Perhaps I've been cultivating for too long. Whether speaking with people or doing things,

I'm too straightforward. The people around me usually can't stand it.

I'm always thinking, maybe people like me will only make people feel awkward.

Frank words are like good medicine: They taste bitter but cure the illness.

The people who are embarrassed by the truth are people who are sick.

- Do you really think that way?\N- Of course.

Also, I'm happy to see you today. That's also the truth.

We saw Black Robe and he broke through your formation easily.

Are you afraid?

He's just lucky to break my formation. Why should I be afraid?

- You're really not scared?\N- No.

That's good, he's about to catch up.

Oh, crap. Hurry up and run.

Mister is not here. I can finally eat some meat.

If I don't eat any meat, the bear is about to turn into a raccoon.

Can I have some?

Where's Teacher?

Teacher has gone out. Xu Yourong asked him to meet her by the San Sheng River outside the city.

- Who asked him out? \N- Xu Yourong.

Why is he seeing her?

I don't know. Hey!

Why are you and Thirty-Six the same? They're just meeting up.

The Xu Family has made things difficult for Teacher.

No, I need to go help Teacher.

They're just meeting up. What's the big deal?

Is she jealous?

- Changsheng!\N- Chen Changsheng!

- Changsheng!\N- Chen Changsheng!

That's strange. Who exactly was it who set up a trap to trick Changsheng?

Where have they lured him to?

Look.

Someone has set up a formation here recently. They also fought.

A fight? Exactly who wants to harm Chen Changsheng?

Could it be General Xu who's always stirring up trouble for Changsheng!

This is the typical scent of the Demon cultivation method.

- It must be the Demon Clan.\N- The Demon Clan?

Why would the Demon Clan want him dead?

That's right! It must be from last time, looking for the keys.

They want revenge.

Such powerful skills, I'm afraid he might be dead.

I doubt that. Changsheng is so smart. He'll definitely find a way to escape.

Let's go find him.

Bloody hell!

All right, he won't be able to catch up to us.

Seriously, this is the first time I've seen Black Robe lose. Are you all right?

I'm okay, just a little tired.

Hold this for me.

Magic sound barrier dissolution. A powerful formation method. Won't be easy to handle.

The spiritual sense of Black Robe turned into a formation. It's unassailable.

Only if I was more powerful than him, or we can find his weakness.

Everything in the world has a weakness, just like this formation. What kind of method does the Black Robe use?

Black Robe has always been mysterious and unpredictable.

No one has ever known what kind of method he uses.

The black smoke seems to be made by the fleeting method; however, there's a little difference as well.

It would be good if we can see him fight. At least I can see the origin of power for his methods.

Don't worry. I will get him to fight.

A powerful person used a whistle to make a formation. A really horrifying tone method.

It must have something to do with Changsheng. Let's go check it out!

Hang on!

Black Robe is too cunning. We have to come up with a plan.

That might not be necessary. To make the formation with the whistle method takes up a lot of energy.

We might be able to take advantage of that.

Hey! Wait a minute!

Teacher!

Teacher!

Interspatial bug!

You think you can get away from me?

Nanke.

We really must be fated for each other.

Are you here to save her?

Let her go.

Then tell me, who is more beautiful?

You're ridiculous.

Don't tell me you're jealous of all the women in the world.

Not really... I'm only jealous of the women Qiushan Jun cares about.

Your Highness!

Your Highness Luoluo!

Thank you very much.

I was just passing by, you're welcome.

I'll leave first.

How are you feeling?

Where's Teacher? How is Teacher doing?

I'm not sure either. Are you all right? Are you hurt?

Both of you, are you going to keep hiding like cowards?

Let me tell you, you can't escape anymore! Just come out!

I can't defend him for very long. You must watch carefully.

You're a brave one. No wonder the monstrous Empress chose you as the heir.

Stop talking. Take this!

Do you know how to break his formation yet? I can't hold much longer!

This is a letter crane, you take it. As long as you think of my face,

no matter how far, it will bring me the letters you write.

Yourong?

An intimate couple still so passionate at the time of their death

still have the time to be sweet? Now die!

Wait a moment.

What? Any last words?

I don't have any last words, but I have something I want to remind you.

Remind me? About what?

You use the Demon sound as your formation, according to the Defend Your Country poem.

You're right! You're so young, yet you know the Defend Your Country poem.

The war song of Defend Your Country poem is what the ancient singers used to sing to mourn the dead national warriors.

This song is filled with justice and courage.

Even though you set up the formation to call upon the power of spirits,

you forgot that this is the land of Dazhou. Those that have passed are soldiers of the Dazhou Empire.

So what?

Did you forget? This is Shendu.

The soldiers here all sacrificed their lives to protect their home and country against the Demon Clan.

For power, you became reckless and relied on the Demon Clan. You are covered with the demon aura!

You think the spirits of Dazhou will be feasible for you?

To defend your country with justice and courage, and die as a hero for your country,

to shine the sky with noble spirit, and your soul shines for thousands of miles.

Long live the heroes' spirits to defend against demons.

Sacrifice!

You really know a lot of things.

I know a lot more.

For example?

For example, you like to eat fish, dislike to eat meat.

You like spring days but dislike rainy days.

You like to plant flowers but somehow they end up withered.

You like to wear light-coloured clothing and dislike to wear jewelry.

You like to play the Xun, but not the Zither

Teacher!

Tonight at midnight, meet me on the Abyss bridge. I have to ask you something.

Teacher!

Teacher! We finally found you. Are you all right?

Changsheng, why are there demons here?

It was a trap made by the demons,

but don't worry. I am all right.

You are Chen Changsheng? The person who has a wedding engagement with Yourong is you?

That is me.

♫ Your image is engraved in my heartbeats ♫

♫ The pen marks are rippled by deep affections ♫

♫ The orbit of yearning is clearer, ♫

♫ whether or not you're being pulled by it. ♫

♫ Each experience resembles the clear lines on the palm ♫

Changsheng.

I didn't think Miss Chujian was the Yourong I know.

I also didn't think we would meet like this after so long.

You've changed.

I have changed. We aren't the young children we were in the past.

The happiness then seemed to have never disappeared.

Those carefree days were really great.

Actually... about the cancellation of marriage...

Cancellation of marriage is my fault.

To be honest... I wanted to cancel it a while ago.

But so many things happened during the time, it got delayed.

You... You fell in love with Luoluo?

Of course not!

Then...

Yourong...

I'm going to die.

So to say, you must win the Grand Examination,

to earn the chance to live.

Although Master has said that, but there's a champion of the Grand Examination every year.

No one has ever seen the Zhou Dufu's notes.

I'm not sure if I'll succeed.

God helps those who help themselves. You will succeed.

Are you comforting me?

I don't know how to comfort people. I just believe that you'll succeed.

But I don't have the confidence.

You are Chen ChangSheng.

You're the one who stole me from death. You didn't let me die back then.

Now, I won't let you die either.

- But...\N- No buts.

If you want to cancel the engagement, you can. But not now.

Once you have changed your fate, then come and cancel the engagement.

These past years, you still haven't changed.

Teacher! Come, come! Try out my cooking.

We are eating so much, but there are people who can't even eat.

That's right! That's why we need to eat more so we don't waste.

Xuanyuan, can you help me make more?

Okay, you eat first and I will go prepare more.

Here it is!

Okay, Teacher enjoy. I will bring you some tea.

Thank you!

T-Teacher... you're appetite is astonishing!

You even ate the plates?

Xuanyuan, you're cooking is great! Thank you!

Xuanyuan Po!

I woke up this morning, but why is there nothing to eat?

What is the meaning of this?

I suddenly remembered that someone once said we were over.

Eating always solves all contradictions with food.

All right, then let's go eat some good food. My treat!

Xuanyuan, you should come, too.

I-I'm not going.

I discovered these really interesting stone slabs.

I can't seem to figure what the images on them mean,

so I've prepared some tools to imprint it and figure out what it means.

Do you think I should go ask the Pope about this?

You can't do that! What if they are valuables and get taken away?

How about this? You stay here and I'll see if they can be sold for a high price later.

Sounds good.

Okay, stop chatting. Do you know any place with some delicious food?

Wow.. when did you become a passionate eater?

Yesterday. Let's go!

Didn't you say you weren't going?

Oh, right.

Young Lord Tang, you're here! Second floor, this way.

I'm telling you, I'll treat you to a Western Blue Lobster.

I've invited a famous chef to cook it.

I'm telling you, Western Blue Lobster is not small.

A normal person will be so full after eating it.

You and I are people who cultivates. I'll treat you to two today.

And what else?

The banquet of Shanhai crabs. How ever much it costs, I can afford it.

- Don't worry and eat it.\N- All right, give me one thousand of them.

One thousand?

One thousand Western Blue Lobsters, one thousand Shanhai Crabs.

That much?

How long do you want to eat for?

Don't worry, I'm not the only one eating it.

You must be hiding something?

Who are you sharing it with?

Or that girl you like?

Which girl can eat that much?

Maybe her large family. You have to treat all her relatives well, too.

You must really love her.

Not everyone has a big family like you.

Hey, I've already treated you to eat so much, shouldn't you now tell me your secret?

It's not Miss Mo Yu, is it?

Hey, what does that mean?

Hey, don't leave. Quickly tell me, is it Miss Mo Yu?

Chen Changsheng, is it Miss Mo Yu?

That's strange. There's no bridge called Beixin Bridge.

Do you think he's weird?

Teacher is getting ready for the Ivy Banquet.

Thirty-Six.

Yes! I'm coming.

Does the Sacred City have so much ice each year?\N Where did it come from?

From the icehouse!

But the ice is too much in the Sacred Capital.

Even the common people on the streets can get a bowl of ice.

It seems right what you are saying.

I seem to have heard that the Sacred Capital has a large icehouse underground.

Even if all the people in the the Zhou Empire who has cultivated and fully activate their formations,

they can't make that much ice.

Why don't we go ask around?

Yes.

The shopkeeper said the ice house is under strict watch by the royal court.

It's in the West Market Alley. They only stock ice for the royal court.

It is said that the icehouse is connected with an underground frost channel in the Sacred Capital.

I'll go and have a look myself. You don't need to accompany me.

Do you think there's something wrong with him lately?

Just leave it to me, I'll follow him.

Changsheng.

Xu Yourong.

You look exhausted. Is there an urgent matter?

Yes. It is a little urgent.

Have you always lived in Sacred Capital?

Yes. But when I was younger, I've lived in the south. I've been here all this time.

So you must have been to a lot of places?

From the west I've been to the Beast Clan's prairie fields, from the north I've been to the Demon Clan's snow lands.

- From the east..\N- I'm from the east!

If you keep going east, you'll reach the ocean.

There are also wetlands in the prairie.

Wetlands in the prairie? Is it a sea?

It's not the sea but a lake.

The same as the Clear Lake Tower in the Sacred Capital is also not a lake.

Sea is not like the sea we know. The Clear Lake Tower is not a lake.

Then...

is the Beixin Bridge not a bridge?

- You're talking about the Beixin Bridge?\N- Yes.

The Beixin Bridge in Shendu is actually a well.

No wonder I can't find it.

Xu Yourong, thanks to you

I've got something to do. I'll leave first. Thanks.

Teacher actually knows Xu Yourong? They look pretty happy together.

It doesn't look like there is any animosity between them.

Have they made up. No, I'll have to go have a look.

Who knew Beixin Bridge was actually a well?

But I can feel it's cold.

Teacher!

Teacher! Teacher! Teacher!

Chen Changsheng, do you know what I like?

What I like the most is the silver beach sand,

the blue sea, sunshine and the gentle breeze, as well as the beautiful underwater palace.

I want to go home.

Chen Changsheng, you liar, you said you'll bring me food, but I don't know where you've runned off to.

Zhusha!

Your Highness, why did you return by yourself?

Where's Mister?

Teacher.

Teacher... he...

He jumped into the well.

Jumped into the well.

So little. You're not sincere at all.

It's here.

Teacher jumped in from here.

Huh?

Teacher!

- Teacher. \N- Mister.

Teacher, where did you go. You scared me to death.

Luoluo.

I'm fine... It's okay.

Xuanyuan, what do you think the images on the stone mean?

It looks like a bunch of tangled up... earthworms!

And also?

A bunch of mating earthworms!

Other than mating and earthworms, is there anything else you can think of?

Uhm... then what do you think it looks like?

T-This obviously looks like a bunch..

a bunch of... loving and inseparable earthworms.

That makes sense.

That's right.

Actually, no matter how I look at it, these look like earthworms.

Changsheng, what do you think?

About what?

About the stone slates that I have found. I imprinted the images on it,

but with our intelligence, it's impossible to understand it.

Not "ours," yours!

First of all, these inscriptions are modified seal scripts.
