https://torrentgalaxy.to/profile/HashMiner So here is reception, a customer comes from the street.
Here you have the room number two,
the little one.
So here is Sophia,
the biggest doll, the taller, big breasts, big booty.
So this room is bigger because it's for a couple,
so people come more in this space,
so here you have two dolls, this is skinny dolls.
We also provide the VR system, virtual reality porn movie.
The concept is, you see something
and you feel something,
so you are in another world,
but you have a real physical sensation with the dolls.
It just the beginning, but I think in the future
we'll have some headset like this connected with the dolls,
so it's just the beginning.
[quirky music]
Narrator: The porn revolution is moving fast.
In Britain, we've become so worried,
there are now plans to block under-18s
from watching online porn.
- Yes.
Yes, I know you're cumming, you're cumming,
you're cumming.
Narrator: Since this programme started,
another 100,000 of us have begun searching
on the world's biggest internet porn site, Pornhub.
Producer: How often would you use porn now?
Sometimes two times a day,
up to maybe, easily probably a minimum five times a week.
- It's hard to like get into bed with your phone in your hand
- and not then look at porn. - Yeah.
Narrator: Pornhub alone receives 92 million visitors a day -
that's like the combined population
of Spain and Uganda logging on.
- "Big Tit, Anal MILFs".
Narrator: It's an industry worth billions.
Our growth was phenomenal.
We were at the time, growing 10 times faster
than Facebook, and that was all through word of mouth.
Narrator: The genie is out of the bottle.
- The internet was made for porn.
We brought porn to the masses.
There's more porn flooding the Earth
than ever before in the history of mankind.
Narrator: We'll explain how far porn has come,
where it's taking us...
..and how some are trying to hold back the tide.
- If you only learn about sex from porn,
porn teaches you that sex is a performance.
- When you think of porn
and you think about a film that you've watched,
what's actually happening? What are they saying to each other?
Do you think that some of those categories
are even appropriate for you guys,
- like... - No.
Narrator: We'll also try to understand
if porn is beginning to change you...
..because whether you want to admit it or not,
you are the people watching it.
Have fun, rolling and action.
- Hello miss, how are you doing? - Good.
- And how old are you? - I'm 23.
- 23.
Narrator: Across the world,
there's a growing appetite for porn
that requires constant feeding.
And today, all you need is a smart phone or a cheap camera
to become a pornographer.
- If I didn't think that I could make...
..$50,000 to $60,000 a month,
if I didn't think I could do that,
I wouldn't be doing this.
I basically find really, really, really beautiful girls
and have sex with them on camera, make videos with them.
Narrator: Jason used to be a landscape gardener...
..but now he's part of the porn gold rush,
where amateur producers are cashing in
outside of the mainstream industry.
When the internet first came out
and people first started doing what I'm doing,
you had to build your own website...
..whereas now you don't have any of those costs and hurdles.
There's plenty of different sites
that you can put your stuff up, where you can sell it per clip.
Narrator: He travels all over America seeking out young women
who are willing to be filmed having sex with him.
[GPS voice speaking faintly]
- I prefer to get girls that,
where it's not even a career for them...
..or, or where it is early in their career.
The realer, the better.
Narrator: His most popular videos
are those featuring brand new performers.
Viewers will never have seen them doing porn before.
- So this one here in the corner is like,
for if the girl's on top,
right, so if she's on top like here, facing this way,
this camera will pick that up.
and I have a handheld one that I always keep on the bed,
so that's where kind of this one falls in
and captures that angle.
And then this one here,
it needs to go up like as high as possible...
..and it basically captures, like, looking down.
And this one is just front facing, very simple,
and there's one more cam -
this is good for when a girl is getting eaten out.
Narrator: In three years, Jason's uploaded
more than 100 videos to a website
that allows anyone to sell homemade porn
direct to online customers.
Jason: Have you ever done a video like this before?
Girl: No.
Jason: Can you take that off?
[girl moaning]
I create a product that a lot of people enjoy.
It's a fantasy thing.
Men generally are interested in having sex with beautiful women.
Men just think that way, that's how the world fucking is.
They vicariously can live through me, in a way...
..so if you're creating a product
that someone gets enjoyment out of, it creates value.
That's why they pay for this stuff.
Narrator: Jason's first time porn brand
has brought him a loyal following.
So much so, that in a world where adult content
is generally free...
..his fans are still prepared to pay for it.
[indistinct voices on video]
- I'm making a lot of money right now,
but it's not enough.
I need 'fuck you money'.
Narrator: Jason's cagey about how much he's actually earning.
But what we do know
is there are thousands of DIY pornographers like him,
trying to make money out of porn's online explosion.
- Hardcore porn is more freely and widely available
on the internet than ever before.
There is an entire generation growing up,
that believes that what you see in hardcore pornography
is the way that you have sex.
Narrator: This is Cindy Gallop.
Her 2009 TED Talk warned of the worrying cultural effect porn
is now having on young people.
It went viral.
I date younger men,
predominantly men in their 20s.
and when I date younger men,
I have sex with younger men.
And when I have sex with younger men,
I encounter very directly and personally,
the real ramifications of the creeping ubiquity
of hardcore pornography in our culture.
I have no problem responding as I have regularly had to,
"Actually no, thank you very much,
"I'd much rather you did not cum on my face."
Narrator: In the 10 years since Cindy gave her talk,
porn use has rocketed.
By 2012, YouPorn, just one porn site amongst hundreds,
received more internet traffic every second
than the average UK household would generate in six months.
But there's been a revolution in the way people view porn too.
Smartphones mean we can access porn on the go,
so now we're watching it in public.
Last year, coffee chain Starbucks,
decided it would have to block porn from its Wi-Fi...
..and it seems everyone's been at it.
The internet network in Parliament
recently recorded 160 requests a day to watch porn.
But it's the generation that's grown up with porn
at its fingertips that use it most.
18 to 34-year-olds make up
nearly two-thirds of Pornhub's visitors.
But what the stats don't tell us
is how many people under 18 are looking at porn.
Producer: Have you talked about this before?
I've never talked about it before.
So this will be my first time.
Sometimes it's left up to people such as myself
to try and bite the bullet and tackle issues like that.
It is a difficult topic, but we shall see.
So we are talking about porn today, guys.
So, when you do see this big bright word saying 'porn',
what's your initial thought that come to your mind?
- Sexual intercourse. - Sexual intercourse, sex,
- Sex. - Sex.
- A traumatising experience. - A traumatising experience.
[shuddering]
- It makes you shudder and cringe.
- The first thing that comes into my head, yeah,
when I saw that was a fake taxi, I don't know why.
- A fake taxi.
- Or step mum and her son.
[all laughing]
- Yeah, or step brother, step brother and step sister.
- Or father and daughter. - Father and daughter.
- Yeah. - Step sisters, step daughters.
So all these categories, right?
- This one everyone knows about, this one everyone knows about.
- Two girls, one cup - Two girls, one cup.
Two girls, one cup!
- There's like eleven year olds,
thirteen year olds are watching porn.
- Some people watch it to learn how to do stuff
with their partner or their sexual partner or whatever.
They watch porn and then learn from the video
and then do it in actual real life.
[all laughing] - Yeah!
Producer: What was it that you'd seen that you start,
started to make you worry?
I think to myself,
"well it seems formulaic to me", OK?
It seems to me that the emphasis
- is on satisfying the guy. - Yeah.
So it looks to me like it's quite formulaic.
There'll be a lot of oral sex, female to male.
Yeah, quite a lot.
And then there'll be some quite
I'd call aggressive penetration.
Yeah? Of all, you know, different types.
And then, there'll be what I would call...
Well, the climax will be, like...
- I don't... - And it seems to go on forever.
How can it be, you know, someone's face or on their boobs
or something, you just think,
Geez, if nine times out of ten, if a bloke did that to his wife,
she's gonna slap him, you know,
that's not how we do stuff,
- I don't think. - It's not realistic.
I find it a little bit gross if I'm really honest.
And you know, I don't want my son
treating a woman like that and I don't want my daughter
to be treated like that.
Now, if they evolve in a relationship
where they decide that is what they want to do
and that's me being a prude then that's fine.
But you know, not on the first date, you know?
- Tomorrow I'm supposed to be picking up a girl
that's coming in, flying in from Connecticut to Vegas...
..and she's going to do her very first shoot with me.
She is 19, almost 20.
Her mum seems kind of like, maybe overbearing or something.
Producer: So her mum doesn't want her to go?
No. Definitely doesn't want her to go.
She wants to go though, she definitely wants to go.
Producer: Do you understand why her mum doesn't want her to go?
Yeah, sure.
Most parents wouldn't want their kid to quit high school
like a lot of us did,
so I understand that totally,
but I also understand the kid that wants to leave
and do what they want to do.
I tend to side with the kid
that wants to go do what they want to do,
as long as like they're not put into a position where, you know,
they're hurting themselves or that someone is like,
taking advantage of them.
[laughing and moaning on video]
Producer: Aren't you taking advantage?
Hm?
Producer: Aren't you taking advantage in a way?
In what way?
Producer: Well, encouraging her to start doing porn.
Taking advantage?
Producer: Because you're going to film her to make money.
Yeah, she's going to be paid though to make it.
[indistinct voices on video]
It's a business, you know?
[church bells ringing]
- Where parents are too embarrassed
to have conversations about sex with their children...
..hardcore pornography de facto has become sex education.
My concern is particularly with the young girl
whose boyfriend wants to cum on her face.
she does not want him to cum on her face,
but hardcore porn has taught her
that all men love cumming on women's faces,
all women love having their faces cum on,
and therefore she must let him cum on her face
and she must pretend to like it.
[crowd cheering on video]
- Oh, god.
Narrator: Cindy Gallop's TED Talk
has had almost two and a half million views.
Today, she's bringing her message to Oxford University
in a Q&A exploring how she wants to disrupt porn.
Current student, Theo,
has been given the job of interviewing her.
- I've interviewed prime ministers,
cabinet ministers, academics, historians.
We had an event with somebody about music yesterday
and it was all very nice.
This topic does not crop up when I talk to prime ministers
or politicians at all.
She's not afraid to say these things
and she's not afraid to talk about
all of these sexual sort of terminologies,
and it frightens the everyday person.
Narrator: Cindy travels the world,
determined to make people face the realities
of how porn may now be influencing us.
Woman: I'm here to welcome Cindy Gallop
whose been fighting all of her life,
and she cares deeply about the society in which we live,
so it's great, Cindy, that you're here this evening
to talk about sex, relationships and porn.
[applause]
Because we don't talk about sex as a society,
we are enormously nervous and insecure about it as a result.
Everybody wants to be "good in bed",
no-one knows exactly what that means,
and so you will seize your cues on how to do that
from anywhere you can and if the only cues you've seen
are in porn, those are the ones you're going to take.
I always emphasise the issue isn't porn -
the issue is that we don't talk about sex in the real world.
People don't get how massively, profoundly,
fundamentally beneficial the impact of that would be.
- Some parents don't want their children
to be having these conversations.
- But what do you think the fear is of parents
just about you guys talking about
what is actually out there?
That you're exposed to that kind of stuff.
- Could you talk to your parents about porn?
- No. - Never! Could never.
You could never do that.
So that's already a barrier there.
So why can't you guys talk about porn with your parents?
It's an intimate kind of thing,
like you don't really,
like I wouldn't say it to my friends, "oh I watch porn",
like I just wouldn't say it like that.
- Yeah, because you find it very personal.
Yeah, it's a personal thing.
- 'Cause our parents always think that we're innocent,
'cause to them we're still babies
so they don't know that we learn from society
what these things are.
Producer: What was your like sex education like in school?
- I didn't have one. - Did you not?
Really?
Not that I can remember fully.
I remember we learnt about it in science, that was it.
- Really? - Yeah.
Because I went to an all-girls school that was Catholic, so...
- Oh, yeah. - That explains it.
Yeah.
Producer: There's an idea that porn has become sex education
for a whole generation. What do you think about that?
I remember when we was doing sex education in class
like in my third of fourth year of secondary school,
and they were explaining something to us,
I can't remember what it was,
but then one of the boys shouted out,
"That's not what I saw on Pornhub."
It's like, oh, that's entertainment,
that's not real life.
It's made up, but he just couldn't understand that,
he genuinely thought Pornhub was real
'cause his parents had never spoken to him
about like, what sex is, what it is, and all stuff like that,
so he kind of just always had this idea
from what he'd seen online.
Sexuality was never brought up.
Never.
So, I mean, me being gay, it was...
..that became pretty difficult
because I never learnt about it,
I had to sort of figure things out for myself
and I was never educated on certain things.
I had to go and find it myself.
then you would, you'll Google it
and you'll find things such as porn.
Yeah.
Narrator: Whilst we've not been talking about porn,
more and more of it is made every day,
with DIY producers like Jason popping up all over the world.
- I know somebody who's making $90,000 a month in sales,
$90,000 a month.
But actually, in life, when you try to put
happiness or something like that on a dollar,
like a dollar amount, that's foolish, you know.
I don't give a shit about a dollar amount.
I just want a lot.
Narrator: Jason's constantly looking for new ideas...
..something to make his videos stand out.
His latest plan is to turn his friend, Matt, into a porn star.
- Come out here, Fat Bastard.
so this is my friend, Fat Bastard.
- His name is Matt. - Not so fat.
- You're fat as fuck.
He's basically the all-American, every day...
- Fat guy. - ..Walmart NASCAR guy
that's going to get in there and pound.
The average dude's going to see you and say,
"I want to be like Matt."
Or like Fat Bastard.
That's the plan, and he's just a normal dude.
We should hide this hotel shit, right?
- I think they can figure out it's a hotel
by the white sheets.
- Yeah, but not the names, got the names all on that shit.
Producer: So the hotel doesn't know you're doing this?
Nah, they never know.
Is that naughty?
It should be this one, yes.
Move the camera and stand in towards you.
It's the same thing as if you're doggy style
or if she's doggy style, she's facing this way.
This is going to be like the insertion shot, right?
Narrator: Matt's travelled here for the shoot from Utah
where he works as a bus driver.
He first contacted Jason after watching his videos online,
and offered to help him recruit new performers.
Now he's about to become one himself.
- A little nervous. You just hear the horror stories
about first time shoots.
Producer: What are some of the horror stories?
You can't get it up
or I mean, you pop too quick, or...
Producer: Remind me again why you're doing this?
It's the all-American dream.
What can you say, you know?
You get to start your own brand.
The Fat Bastard idea, that's me.
Um...
And then if that's out there and everybody can see it,
I mean, that's... You're... At that point
I'm a personality, I guess you would call it.
Producer: So are you doing it for fame or fortune?
A little bit of both.
I want people to sit there and go,
"I wish I could do that, I wish I was him."
[slow guitar music]
I knew that if I wanted to counter the global impact
of porn as default sex ed,
I was going to have to come up with something
that at least had the potential one day
to be just as mass, just as mainstream
and just as all-pervasive in our society as porn currently is.
Narrator: To try and counter porn's negative influence,
Cindy decided to create a new platform
for ordinary people to post homemade sex videos online.
- My tiny team and I launched a video-sharing platform
that celebrates real world sex.
So anyone from anywhere in the world can submit to us.
Those social sex videos on 'Make Love not Porn'
are not about performing for the camera.
Capture what goes on in the real world,
as it happens spontaneously.
We do not publish it unless it's real.
We are absolutely not about production values.
OK, this is real world sex,
people film themselves on their phone, you know,
on their laptop, whatever it is.
Real world bodies, real world hair,
real world penis size, real world breast size,
nothing but nothing makes you feel great about your own body
like watching people who are nobody's idea
of aspirational body types,
having a bloody amazing time in bed.
We celebrate the accidents, the awkwardness, the messiness.
Narrator: Cindy's idea is to allow people
to share their sex lives,
the same way you might post holiday snaps on social media,
so that people can understand sex from each other,
rather than porn stars.
If you only learn about sex from porn,
porn teaches you that sex is a performance.
Nothing educates people about what are good sexual values
and good sexual behaviour
like actually watching people having that kind of sex.
- Somebody could argue that you just set up
an amateur porn site.
So first of all, they're not porn videos, Theo,
they are real world sex videos.
Well of course, that depends on your interpretation.
We are not porn. We are not 'amateur'.
We're building a whole new category on the internet
that's never previously existed - social sex.
Surely you've kind of skipped a few steps.
Have you gone too far
with this radical vision to begin with?
If I wanted to learn more about the things you're talking about,
do I have to watch people having sex?
Do me a favour - go to Google,
enter into the search box the word 'porn',
like millions of children do every single day.
Look at the top ten sites
that come up on page one of Google when you do that.
Go to the home page of each, take a long hard look at it,
and then tell me I shouldn't be doing what I'm doing.
- I'm gonna give you your pep talk here, in all sincerity.
We're just going to say it's like your first scene,
and this is your...
..introductory shoot, OK?
So there's no pressure on it.
Yeah.
It's a hot girl, and you're going to fuck her.
Like, I'm serious, like no pressure.
- OK? - Alright.
OK.
No pressure, no pressure for him.
I'm just going to film you guys on this one.
And you guys go at it right here.
Start thinking about too much shit,
other than what you're doing, your dick can go down.
Alright.
OK? Any questions or anything?
- Not that I can think of. - OK.
Narrator: Jason believes he can turn Matt into a brand...
..and is encouraging him to adopt a character.
- Ah, you look good. You are fat as fuck, though.
Narrator: In his debut scene, Matt will be performing
with professional porn star, Carolina Sweets.
- Hey. - Hi.
- Hiya.
Narrator: Carolina gets a one-off fee,
the industry standard is around $1,000.
But with Jason's guidance,
Matt has been told he could earn much more than that,
if his performance stands out and the video sells.
- There he is. - Nice.
Thought we were joking.
I actually thought he was joking too!
All you need is, like, a little cooler for you to hold.
- I don't know if he should take,
I don't know if he should take them off
or if he should just try to fuck with them on.
What do you think?
I didn't even know it zipped down until like
he had them on like a couple of minutes ago.
- Yeah, but that might hurt. - Yeah.
- Like you're going to break him in.
We're going to make it completely realistic
and we'll just like start in the bedroom.
This is his first time, you guys are just going to go at it.
- Now what exactly are we supposed to talk about,
because you've seen my acting...
- ..it sucks. - No, no, you're not acting,
- you're not acting at all. - This won't be acting at all.
Just literally what you're doing right now.
- Yeah, we're introducing you, Fat Bastard.
Producer: How you feeling, Matt?
- How are you feeling?
I don't really know. I'll let you know in an hour.
Producer: How are you feeling, Carolina?
Pretty excited. Let's break him in.
- Alright, so I guess we're going to start right now.
- OK. - Yeah.
[Jason on recording]: Debut porn video right here
with Carolina Sweets.
So how do you feel about breaking in
my man right here for his first shoot?
I feel great.
[Jason on recording]: Awesome.
And how do you feel, Fat Bastard?
I don't know how's she's going to break me, I'm too fat.
[Jason on recording]: You are too fat. You're a big boy.
Why don't you get up there and stand up,
let's see this outfit you got on right here,
what you walk around in,
you Walmart motherfucker right here.
This is funny as fuck!
[Jason on recording]: Well why don't you guys like
go over by the chair so I can get better lighting here
and go ahead and just, Carolina just break his ass in, please.
[Carolina on recording]: I will.
[Jason on recording]: If you will. Alright?
[Carolina on recording]: It's why you brought me tonight.
[Jason on recording]: That's right. Gotta straight up...
Producer: So will people pay for this?
Yeah, I think so. It's unique.
I'll definitely have a core group of people
that are going to be able to relate to him,
I'm pretty damn confident in that.
What I hope to do with this video
is basically just expand the customer base.
that's what the most important thing is.
It's like any business.
[Jason on recording]: You ain't looking as good as Carolina
but you looking good right over there.
Duh.
- Anything over 200, 300,000 viewers is good
but anything like a million and up,
you really can't ask for more.
Producer: Have you told your girlfriend how it went?
No.
Producer: Will you?
Yeah, when I get home.
Producer: What do you think she'll say?
I don't think she even will wanna know.
That was kind of part of the deal is that, you know,
I don't tell her about it, I don't show it to her,
and it's work only.
Producer: Did you think about her?
No.
That would just be kind of wrong, you know.
Narrator: These days, there's no barrier
to an ordinary guy like Matt becoming a porn star.
But once Jason uploads their film,
there'll never be an opportunity for Matt to change his mind.
Today happened.
It will be replayed over and over, all around the world.
And it's the enormous power of the internet,
its reach and spread
that's making us question the impact of porn,
especially on a generation
that's been able to access it so easily.
Do you think access to porn, in whatever relationship,
heterosexual, homosexual, lesbian, whatever,
- that it speeds up the... - Yeah.
..the evolution of your relationship,
or it slows it down?
I think people nowadays go straight to sex
and then they think about the emotional bond afterwards,
and they sort of think,
"alright, let's just get all this sort of
"sexual stuff out the way, and then we'll figure out
"if we actually really like each other."
- It's not really, I think... - Don't you think that's...
Obviously, I think the initial attraction is always there.
Don't you think that's the wrong way round?
That is, yeah exactly, that is definitely the wrong way round.
And it's very much sort of like...
We've had loads of discussions about
what we think people have gone into doing
- sexual stuff too early. - Yeah.
And now they're just sort of like,
"well what's now, we haven't got anything
"to like look forward to and look forward to" in a sense,
"we haven't got anything to..."
- Build up to. - Yeah.
You build your confidence up, don't you?
Yeah, yeah.
And then it's just sort of like, "well we've done everything now,
"what do we do now? Talk to each other?"
Oh my lord, heaven forbid.
Sit down and watch a film? Ew.
- Trying to change social narratives around sex
is quite extraordinarily difficult.
- Why haven't governments been doing it?
is it simply because we don't want to talk about it,
it's too awkward?
Yeah, the government doesn't even want to go there
- and they absolutely should. - Have you tried
to speak to them about your work?
Yeah, so I wrote an open letter to David Cameron
about precisely this issue
and the headline was, you know,
"David Cameron, don't block porn, disrupt it".
And what I said in that letter, the issue isn't porn,
the issue is that we don't talk about sex in the real world.
The answer then that worries me about porn
is not to shut down, censor, clamp down, block, repress,
it is instead to open up.
Open up the dialogue around all of this, like I'm trying to do
because when you do that,
you completely change the landscape of "adult".
- Did he, he didn't respond at all?
Sadly he didn't respond, no.
If you could all join me in thanking Cindy
for being such a wonderful guest, thank you Cindy.
[crowd applauding]
Narrator: But in the UK,
the growing fear around access to porn...
..has led to plans for a new law
which will block kids from watching it.
It would mean that if you visit a porn site,
you have to prove you're 18 using credit card info
or a driving licence to verify your age.
- Our government are looking at putting in a porn block,
do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing?
If you're under 18, to have a porn block?
- A lot of people know how to get around that stuff.
People will still find ways.
- 'Cause it's all about social media.
You get all of these pornographies,
and all these sexual things through social media
and through Snapchat, through Instagram, through Twitter.
So in essence, you're saying that if they put a ban it,
it's not going to matter anyway.
- No, it won't. - Yeah.
- People will still find ways. - Yeah.
So it's not going to work, it's actually not going to work.
- There's no direct push from government
to have to explore these topics.
If there was a need for a law to be in place
for there to be an age block,
that means there was an issue.
And that means the issue has been long going on
that hasn't been tackled.
And so therefore somebody's missed a beat with that one.
Producer: Do you think parents will see age verification
as a good thing 'cause now they won't have to talk
to their kids about porn?
That is exactly the fucking problem.
No, society cannot abdicate this issue.
No, any parent who loves their child
should not be going, "oh, I can just leave it
"to that age verification thing
"and I'll never...", oh my fucking God,
no, no, do not abdicate your responsibility
to educate on what sex is and therefore what porn is.
- By the time young people come to me,
they're 16, it's almost like the last opportunity
education has in order to really shape who they're going to be.
That curriculum needs to change
and needs to incorporate things such as porn.
It's one of those sad truths that we need to understand that,
you know, our children are accessing porn,
so why not tackle it and address it?
[overlapping chatter]
Narrator: But while we're trying to understand
how the porn revolution could be affecting us...
..the industry is racing ahead, breaking new frontiers,
pushing sexual fantasy in new ways.
- I need you guys to be quiet, please.
Alright, so let's start rolling video and sound, please.
- We are rolling. Good? - Mm-hm.
Yes.
- Action.
Welcome home, honey.
Did you have a good day at the office?
- And cut.
- The big difference between a normal porn scene
and a virtual reality porn,
you feel that you are inside the scene.
- Action.
Take a seat in your favourite chair
and let me get you a drink.
- You are not a spectator any more,
you are there.
- Action.
- You are having sex with your favourite porn star.
That's something that no way you can do before.
Narrator: Virtual reality has been around for decades,
but it's only now that it's starting to become widely used,
and pornography is helping to drive that.
[soft music]
- Right now, I can see there's a video called 'Pin Up Slut',
and then the video started...
..and I'm in front of a door, I'm knocking on the door
and so is a first person view.
So it feels like it's me doing this.
Welcome home, honey.
Did you have a good day at the office?
- She's opened the door.
She's giving me a drink, it looks like whisky.
Here's your drink, honey.
- So this is the kind of five, six minute story part
which, if I want, I can fast forward.
I'm moving my head around, I can look around.
I can't move physically.
The male point of view videos are filmed
where the man is lying or sitting,
and the female is moving around.
So as I'm sitting now on the couch here,
I'm basically sitting in the same position
as the man in the video is.
[smacking sound] - Ah, one.
- So when the man experiences something...
[smacking sound] Two.
..it does look like, at least, that it's me experiencing that.
[smacking continues with woman groaning]
Er, yes.
- And cut, perfect, nice, OK.
- It's much more immersive, it's much more realistic.
Sorry stud, it will never happen again.
We're going to do a little bit of BJ,
then we'll go to boob job, then reverse cowgirl.
Producer: What's happening now?
So now she's in front of me, she's lifting up her skirt.
We've almost got to the part where
we're going to start getting undressed.
So now, she's started to perform oral sex
and she looks like she's enjoying it.
[woman moaning]
Narrator: Errol is a tech entrepreneur working in VR.
He began his career making games and interactive experiences,
but has been lured by the potential
of Virtual Reality porn.
- 95% of all VR-related searches are to do with VR porn.
Producer: So what's all this?
- So, these are our VRotica headsets,
it's an all in one VR headset,
but also the main selling point obviously
is that you have your adult videos in here.
The only reason we took a deep dive into this
was when we kind of become more aware of the numbers
and how big actually porn was over here.
When we get an order online,
this is where we prepare them.
We package them and send them from here.
It's a bit, I suppose, like those stories you hear
with the first days of Apple,
with Wozniak and Steve Jobs working out of their garage.
It is a bit like that, I suppose.
The people are worried that,
if it completely replaces human interaction,
people will stop having sex with real people.
But it's not for me to judge basically,
I mean, what people are going to do, so...
[woman moaning]
There's a demand for it,
and it's not dangerous, it doesn't hurt anyone,
it doesn't harm anyone immediately.
If there are repercussions for that,
then obviously it's a bigger issue
than just me selling a headset.
[smacking sounds] - Oh, my god.
Producer: Is the video still going?
Yes, it's a half hour video.
Narrator: Jason needs to attract a constant supply
of young women who are willing to do porn for the first time.
His business model depends on them.
Today, he's waiting for a 19-year-old
to arrive from Connecticut.
They've been messaging for a year,
but suddenly the conversation has stopped.
- The situation today is we have a cancellation.
The girl that was gonna be flying in tonight
has cancelled, she's completely...
..non-responsive, and I'm sure will have some bullshit excuse.
A little irritated, but...
..there's nothing you can do really.
"I'm literally so excited,
"I have like bubbly feelings, ha, I can't wait."
"It's going to be fun." I said, "yeah."
She said, "I'm so ready to go."
Just normal talking about her being excited and shit
and all of a sudden just crickets,
you just hear crickets, nothing.
[making beeping sounds]
Producer: Why do you think she isn't coming?
Oh, I don't know. She just,
I think she's just, she's just nervous
and just off in some fantasy land
and she doesn't have the courage to follow through,
so she's just blown it off.
Narrator: Jason says he wants to make $60,000 a month -
that's a tall order when you're asking people
to make a life-changing decision.
to have sex on camera and let the world see it.
Producer: So there's been a bit of a mix,
through which there's been a few hurdles.
- Par for the course, man.
Like this is what I do,
this is my fucking life right now, like this is,
like there's like, I'm not like just trying things out,
I'm not giving it a good old shot,
no, I'm fucking doing this shit.
This is my fucking life, period.
I don't have kids, I don't have a wife,
I don't have nothing else, you know, nothing,
this is what I do.
It's not going to stop me.
It doesn't make me like deterred at all.
I'm fixated on building this shit
into something like really, really, really big.
- So now, I need to check if it's worked.
So we received an order overnight
from a buyer from France.
Now , I'm just making sure that everything's working fine
before I send it out.
Yep, just turn it off.
I'm just going to put it in bubble wrap.
I have created the first sex doll brothel of France.
I am always curious about new technology,
about new business...
..and when I see this - whoa! - I think of the future.
We also provide the VR experience.
They just have to put it on their head
and live in other world.
It's totally incredible.
Producer: Who's this?
- This is Sarah.
This is Sophia.
Producer: Why is it necessary to have porn as well as the dolls?
The dolls is quite strange, it's new,
so I think I have to provide something to excite them.
How to explain but...
Producer: To get them in the mood.
Yes, to get them in the mood, oh yeah, totally right.
Producer: Because the dolls are a bit strange.
The dolls are new.
The face is realistic.
The skin is very soft, it's like human,
but the body, it's phantasmagoric.
Producer: Phantasmagoric?
Yeah, it's a good word?
Producer: Very good word. - Yeah.
I advise everybody to try it once.
For now it's just metal skeleton with plastic stuff.
So I think in the future,
sex dolls will be more like sex robots.
The doll will be intelligent,
she can recognise you, you can speak with her,
she can do everything like a real human.
The new generation of people
who are born with an iPhone in the hand,
for this kind of generation,
it will be more normal.
So I think in few years,
when these people grow up,
they will be the next big customer base.
For the business, it will be heaven.
A new customer.
- In a male-dominated tech world,
the support and the funding goes to that area of sex tech,
that is focused on driving us further and further apart
into our own little virtual worlds.
Versus the area I operate in, which is about using technology
to bring people closer together in the real world.
Which area do you think
is going to have the most beneficial impact
on the future of humanity?
Narrator: Whatever new technology catches on,
it's clear that porn is moving fast and in new directions.
It makes you wonder where it's leading us
and whether it's impossible to control.
[slow tempo music]
Producer: Another city, another apartment?
Yeah, that's how it is.
This was one guy's dream to create this whole city.
And everyone thought he was fucking crazy.
Isn't that amazing?
This was a fucking desert, this was nothing.
I love human beings like that who do shit like that.
You know?
I look at this as like a fucking empire.
I'm building it.
Narrator: The speed that porn has transformed the generation
has shown us the enormous power of the internet,
and the scale of an industry that is constantly evolving.
But perhaps it tells us something else?
Something about us.
The thing that drives the demand for adult stuff
is the actual drive in us as human beings
that keeps us fucking alive.
It's basically the sex drive,
so it's actually the life force itself of human beings
that is the demand for this product.
That shit will never stop.
