All right, you two, check around. All

right. Hello.

I see. You two got the doors. Yeah.

Hey.

Helen. Brother. Achan and

you. Come with me.

Essen. How are nobody killed here?Hmm

But so, what if the...

Nothing. NothingNo, nothing.

Brethren, it's here.

Hold

it. That's what I tell you, man. Who you?

The 8 Dragons. Show them.

Kill them.

many witnesses.

Well, what now?

Brother, we can't keep hiding

here.

That sounds right. We got the

eight-trigram map. Why don't we go and

get the treasure?Right.

I agree. So

do I.

I think it's a good idea.

I don't. Why not?

Because this thing has got too big.

Why did you have to kill anybody? Why not?

Who cares?They stirred things up.

Everybody's looking for us. I

think the chief's right. If we tried now,

we'd get caught.

Listen, I'll look after the map

and then in three years time, Oh no,

it's too loud.

What then?

You obey the chief, or answer to me.

All right, let's not fight about this.

We'll let the chief decide.

It hurts me. that some of you here

don't trust me.

We'll meet again in three years,

and then we shall dig up the treasure

together. So for three

years, we must all live as normal a life

as possible.

Mama, get at me. What is it?Some guy

won't leave.

Hurry.

It's him. Hey, you. You still here?

What is this?Calling me you?Well, now,

I could call you a lot worse than that.

You use my place. Eating, drinking,

whoring and you never pay. Hey,

go on. Explain it to her.

And explain why. Just because I'm nice to

you in bed doesn't mean I do it free.

Hey, and what's worse? One's not enough.

You always want 2 girls. So pay

up. I'll get out. God damn it.

Don't think I'm a bum. I tell

you, I'm money. More money

than you could ever imagine. Where?

Well, it's phone.

Now be a nice girl. And let me stay

here tonight.

My friend. And what's in your bag?

Is it stolen goods?

You want a cut?

No, I want it all.

Just try it.

Come on.

Now listen. Tell us where you hid the

stuff or we'll beat you again.

God damn you.

Hey. Hey

Talking to you. What is it?

Let's escape.

No thanks. Why not?

I'll soon be out. It's just a matter of

days. So why take a risk?

Hey, I want out.

Huh Hey, he

wants out, so you take him. Hey, count me

in. Hey, you take me,

and you won't regret it at all. I can

help you quite a lot.

The old fella that you robbed, well, he

just died. Tomorrow you'll

go for re-sentencing.

What did I get?Well, who

can say it could be death

or else a life sentence here?

Hey, you hear what he said?

Didn't you hear him then?Hey, hey, hey

And so what?Hey, now, look, I want out.

I've changed my mind.

Hey.

Listen, he wants you.

Get your mouth shut. I won't.

You take me, or I'll squeal. I'll squeal.

Hey. HeyCome on. Hey. Hey,

what's wrong there?

Now listen, these guys here, they said.

that they'd escaped. Thought you should

know. Well, that's good, yeah.

Hey, hey, heyPsst. Psst. Hey.

Hey, heyHey,

hey

Damn it.

Oh,

my God.

ohh My guts are killing me.

What is it?Oh, pain. My

stomach is killing me.

I'll get it

done.

You stupid fool. Huh

What's that?Who's a fool?I'm a fool.

I'm a fool.

Hurry.

Hey, hurry up.

Hey, bet's done. Come on, Come on you

can triple your money.

Hey, now watch. Huh

HuhLook. Come

on,

look down, look, bet's done, bet's done.

Hey, place your bet.

It's you.

Hey,

look at that.

Why'd you do that?

That's Peanut. Come with me for the big

stuff, right?Oh, hey, come on

quick.

Nothing. No sign of a treasure.

Deeper it is, likely the more valuable it

is. Hey, come on.

Crap. Nothing here.

It is here.

Maybe. It may be. And maybe

not.

That's what I said. You mean

we've been being tricked?

Just what are you after?

Your pieces of the map.

Let's dig. Come on.

It's your fault.

I'll find it! I...

Hold it!

Come along with me! Huh

God damn it, you! I'm with

him. We tricked you.

Chang Wei.

Chang Wei, you.

I'm sorry. I have to leave

you. Get those eight

Dragons all by yourself. Chengwei.

We've searched for three years, and now

we know most of their names. But

now you must

go alone. No, Chengwei,

you'll be with me.

Waiter! Waiter! I'm coming!

Can I help, sir? Some wine. All right.

Some wine! Ohh This way, sir. That's it.

There we are. That's That's right.

Upstairs, Sir. That's it. Up there.

Waiter. More rice.

Over

there.

Waiter. Certainly guests. Yes, Sir.

Right. This way. Thank you. Thank you.

Hey, waiter. G'day, Sir.

Thank you, Sir.

Mister, would you like some tea?No,

thanks. Waiting for someone.

Is that so?Who's that?

Never mind.

Waiter. Yon. Waiter. Some tea.

I'm coming.

Mister. Sure you won't come in?Thanks.

It's strange. Why haven't any of them

arrived yet?

Who's them?

We really have to get a doctor for little

Ao Wu. Tell

me, is his fever down?

A bit.

Who's there? It's me. And who are you?

Chang Fan's friend. Oh, where have you

come from?Greentown.

Oh, well,

a Fan. Didn't he meet you there?

Must have missed him.

Where is he now?

Gathering firewood. Oh.

Chopin.

How do you know my name?I know more than

that. I also know that you're not a

firewood cutter. Not really.

Well, your face looks familiar.

At the Fung Lung Hotel. Huh

You're the waiter. You're under arrest.

How'd you fight me?Lochi talked.

He's dead. And Lopa, too.

And now it's my turn, huhI

don't want your life. What then?

Just your piece of map.

How come?

Because you're needed here.

And what do you know of me?I know

quite a lot. Your mother is blind

and she's a nice woman too. And your

wife's good as well. And your

son is sick. So what?

Give me the map. Don't be dumb.

And you can live here in peace. And I'll

take your son to the doctor. You

mean that?Umm But I

haven't got it with me now. Where is it?

At home.

Well, go and get

it. I'll wait here.

Afan, what you looking for?

Nothing.

Afan, you are looking for something.

Ma, I'm not.

Tell the truth. It's

nothing. You

come here.

Hafan. You really

going out to eat a friend now?Yeah.

He's waiting now. Tell the truth,

Hafan. Have you been doing anything

wrong?

No, it seems very strange.

Nobody's come to see you before.

Ma, I always taught you, son.

A man must be honest.

We prefer to starve first

before we do something

wrong.

Ma, I know.

He's getting worse.

You'd better go and meet your friend

and then hurry back.

Must get a doctor for him.

I've changed my mind.

But why?Because when the others

come, my mother will find out. Can

you always keep it secret?

Well, I can if I kill you now.

You better let me have that map.

Why isn't our fun back yet?

Of fun. You're back then.

He won't be back for a while.

But why?What happened?Well, now he

had to go off urgently.

He has some business.

Has our fun done something bad?

Nothing like that. We're doing a little

business deal.

Why didn't he tell us about it?

Maybe he just wanted to surprise you.

By the way, he sent you this

money.

I see. That's to pay the doctor.

That right?

Yes.

Now I know that it's all right.

Don't have to worry. You are his good

friend.

Thank you for all that you've done,

looking after me while my father was

away. Now, Miss Jade, if it weren't for

your father, I wouldn't be able to look

after anyone. He saved my life. So

don't thank me!

Hold

it!

aye Was my pleasure.

Thank you. Thanks a lot. Not at all.

I must be getting on now.

Let's go.

Come on, let's get going. It's late.

Come on. Move it.

Hey, hurry up. Come on.

Hurry up. Oh,

Mr. Wong, you're here.

Hmm

Listen, do you know three of the gang

have been killed?

I told you. Huh Any

clues?No. What

are we going to do?We have to make

sure we get him

before he gets around to us. But how?

How will we find them?

That'll be easy. No problem. Hey,

boss. Huh

Master, you've got a job for me?Well,

that's why I sent for you. And it's an

important job, too. Of course I'll do it.

But still. Which he?You don't know what

the job is, but still, you're asking for

money. Well, for money, I

would do anything. You say you really

know where the ape Dragons are. Of

course. So you'll be rich.

What?You've seen the reward notices,

haven't you?Really.

I hear you're spreading this round.

Well, whoever pays me the most will get

the secret.

Well, we weren't planning to pay you

anything.

Either you tell us or else we'll killyou.

We want the money ourselves.

What is this?Talk.

Talk

Talk! Talk quick!

Talk! I'm kidding. I

don't know. Hmm

Master, I shall tell you. I

mean...

You are the law, so I ought to tell you.

You want to know where the gang is hiding?

Then be at Eagle Gorge at noon,

and I'm sure

you'll pay me well.

We fixed him, all right. Go and

get the pieces of the map.

Masa, someone to see you. Uh, uh,

he says he's an art dealer.

Oh

What do you want?I have here some rare

treasures to sell you.

Oh, but they might shock you though, I

must warn you.

If you mean the price, I'll pay whatever

they're worth. Really.

These shock you?Of

course not. And just what are they?

They're similar to the pieces of the 8

trigram map that you stole.

What was that?Don't

worry, these are just fakes.

I came here to trade them for the

real ones.

You. You're not dead.

No, I'm not.

Hurry up.

He's not dead.

What do you want?Your piece of the map.

Get lost.

You'd better give it to me.

I've already got 4 here. Hmm

You give me that piece and you'll live.

Come on,

come on, come onBrother.

Master Chu.

Where's your piece of the map?HuhUh,

gone. Well, what have you come

here for?Brother,

I have nowhere else to go.

Master Chu, please take us in here.

Please help us, Sir.

Well, so you know this man by sight.

Of course. Of course. I'd know him

anywhere. Yeah.

Good.

HuhWell, where's my bride?She's

not here yet?All

right. She'll be here. But tomorrow,

not today. I wonder. I wonder. I

wonder now. What if she doesn't want to

come here?Don't be silly.

I told her parents. Do you think they

dare disobey me?No. Take

him, will you?HuhI

don't know. I

don't want to. I don't want to go. No, I

don't want to go yet. No, I don't want to

go. I don't want...

It's done.

I think he's come here. What?What

Talk about Beauty and the Beast!

That's him. Yes.

Seems you've trapped yourself. Now give

me back the piece of the map.

Not a chance. Then there's

no way that you're gonna leave this place

alive.

You'll never get away.

Search him.

Don't bother. You may have guessed that

I'd come here. But you don't think. I'd

bring the map. Kill him! Let's avenge

our brothers! Hold it! Ah

Brother! You!

I needed you to identify him.

ohh But now that I've got him trapped, I

don't need you.

Master Chi, please spare me.

You watch him. And do it

well.

Or wind up like him.

Not like him. I'm not dying.

So you behave yourself.

I have an 80 year old mother.

Wuji, come here. Huh

Why?

Well... Have you got an 80 year old

mother as well who needs you?You want to

escape that right?Huh

I want your piece of the map.

Leave your four pieces and I'll let you

go then. Well, you try and take him.

I won't eat you. You can't live long.

Awake?

It's you.

Yes.

How'd I get here?I found you

while looking for herbs and brought you

back. Oh. All

right.

What's wrong?My clothes.

I've washed them. And my things?

You mean those pieces with that map on

the back?Right.

Here you are. Fancy a grown

man playing with children's puzzles.

Here.

Take two of these every day. How much is

that?There's time for that.

After you're well, then you can pay me.

We'll leave it till then. Thank

you. Thank you. That's all right. Dad?

HuhDad,

Hong Yi needs his medicine. It's ready.

Go and get it.

Umm You told me that he was poisoned.

Yes. Must have been.

His hands and his feet were swollen and

black. The knife?Didn't

see it. And he can fight.

Well, it's like I told you. He fought

those men off on my way here when the

bandits attacked me. Oh.

Dad?I want to tell you...

HuhDad?

What you looking for?Huh

No, nothing.

This is where you found him?Yeah.

You know what his job is?Dad,

when you first met my mother, did she ask

you what your job is?Huh

You're too much.

You.

Honey!

Honey, I don't know where Dad is, but

I've asked him to help cure you.

Honey! Honey! Honey!

Listen, I warn

you. You must take it easy.

Brother.

Well done. You've forgotten our agreement?

No.

In three days. The three years is up,

and that's why I'm here. It's our

guest.

Who'd have thought that I would find that

you've gone into the business of saving

lives now, huhJust a

hobby. That's very

nice. But still, I

can't forget that on your

orders, I've spent the last three years

skulking around in the mountains.

Right. The others. They all right?

I wouldn't know.

Well, anyway, they'll be here soon.

Until then, I guess I may as well

stay here. I'm afraid you can't.

Why not?Because

I don't want Jade to know my past.

Who's Jade?My daughter. Hey,

quick. You hide.

Dad?Oh, you fell. Practice

too hard. Oh, rest a while. Ah

Listen, who's that man?

My daughter's friend. Seems they're very

good friends.

Cousin, go to the inn.

Stay there until I call you.

And don't come back here. Hmm

Kill him. Look,

I say kill him. No.

But he has to die. You know that. Kill

him.

I know he's dangerous.

Well, do it then.

That's it. Your daughter. Listen.

What about our six dead brothers, huhAnd

what about the treasurer as well?Don't

push me!

I don't want to. But

look. Facts are facts.

That's that. It's a pity,

but it's a cruel world we live in.

Let me think about it.

Tomorrow. I hope that I'll have

an idea that will suit everybody.

Your father's acting a bit strange. Yes.

Seems to me he's something on his mind.

Listen,

try and ask him what's wrong.

You're with the police. I am. And

you're trying to catch the 8 Dragons.

Yes, you found them.

I've already got six. It's

taken three years. Two more to go.

When you've got them, them would.

I shall give the map back.

So that's your plan, to suit everybody?

You take the map. All of

it. That's all you want.

Well, go on. Leave the boy alone.

Don't harm him.

You think that

after that he'll let you go?

That's my affair.

But still,

I'm worried for you.

And that's my plan to suit everybody.

What do you say?My dad wants you to leave

here. He says you're in

danger. He asked all about you.

And about the map? That's right. He did

mention those. He said he knew all about

them. He was real

strange. Let's go back.

There could be trouble. Dad.

Dad. Dad.

Too late.

Give me that map.

If I did give them, would you spare me?

No, I want revenge.

Well, in that case then. Try and get

them.
