[Embrace in the Dark Night]

[Episode 20]

Yu Zhe,

is it you?

I found your pendant.

And did some digging.

Yu Wanqing is your dad.

You got close to G.E.

to find evidence

they framed him, right?

Here's a photo my sister took before she died.

I haven't found the evidence.

Maybe because it burned

in her car accident.

But there's another possibility.

It's still at Private Club.

This lipstick

was with her the day she died,

and it's cut in half.

Here's my thought:

she hid the evidence inside a painting.

She might have cut open the painting,

hidden the evidence,

then used the lipstick to seal it

and took a photo to remind herself.

So the evidence

could still be in that painting.

If you trust me,

let's give it another shot.

Here.

I've already disabled the cameras.

Move faster.

This is it.

Something's up.

Check immediately.

It should be here.

What are you doing?

Stop!

[No Climbing] Stop!

Boss,

hold tight.

Mr. Ling,

I checked the surveillance.

The person with Wen Xi

is the owner of Dark Bar.

Just found out

he's Yu Wanqing's son.

Stop them.

We need to know what they took.

Got it.

[Wanqing Accounts]

These records show transactions between Wanqing and G.E.

You can reopen your dad's case.

Can you do me a favor?

There's no evidence of my sister's accident in here.

Before we give this to the police,

can I use it

to make them confess the truth?

You get off here.

I'll distract them.

Search.

No one's here.

Where did they go?

What's going on?

[Jiefang Road]

My old phone was accessed.

I can't hold on anymore.

Three years ago,

you ditched me to save her.

But I've been with you

these three years.

I watched you

work your way up to the position

of the legal director of G.E.

I thought you wouldn't come

because you were with Wen Hao.

By the way,

the chocolate is nice.

Where did you get it?

[Dark Bar]

Have some water.

Has Ren returned?

He said he was in a safe place.

[Unknown Number]

Xu Zheqing,

the boss is willing to meet you.

I've got what I wanted.

We don't need to meet anymore.

Give me a chance.

Just one meeting.

Who's that?

Who's that?

Fei,

help me.

Wen Hao's hidden phone.

I found it.

See that building?

It's in a prime location,

worth countless Wanqing Groups.

I plan

to give it to you

as a G.E. branch,

for you to manage.

You know

I'm not interested

in that.

But we still have to follow official procedures.

One week.

Get the people who killed Wen Hao to turn themselves in.

And

confess the whole

fraud case.

If I hand over the evidence

to the police,

the sentence will be harsher.

No room for negotiation?

We can

make G.E. a better.

We do it together.

Look at that building.

G.E. could be so clean and beautiful.

We could do anything

as long as you are by my side,

just like before!

Now, you want to be a good person

and forget everything

you did before?

What does that have to do with me?

People

are greedy,

that's why they get tricked.

They are to blame

for being stupid.

What about my dad?

What about Wen Hao?

Stop pretending to be noble.

No more pretending!

When you

saved me from Mr. Jia,

you just wanted me to clear your dad's name, didn't you?

You were using me, too!

I wasn't.

One week.

Turn yourself in within a week.

Where did you

get that chocolate?

I guess

I'll be buying it myself now.

At least we're both okay.
