In this tutorial, I'll show you how you can use the implant for creating a plan for

your documentation.

For this purpose, I already prepared a building and planned the lightning protection system

with the HVI product family.

If I want to document my work, I can select the icon Plan Management and create a new

plan.

I enter a name and afterwards choose the preferred settings for the plan.

I confirm with OK, click on Open and see the new document.

Then I select Viewport, Create and select the scale.

Now I can place the viewport on the desired spot with a mouse click.

If I select the frame of the window, I can click Right and choose Visibility and select

the components I want to display in the viewport.

I can do that by simply checking the marks.

I also have the option to standardize these settings.

To do that, I need to open the lightning protection options and move to the Visibility

tab.

Here I can check the boxes for viewport for all the components I want to display as standard.

Remember to set your changes as default if you want them to be permanent.

A double click into the viewport activates the editing mode.

Now I can align the building and choose between different views.

The views change once I click outside the frame.

To not accidentally make changes, I can deactivate the editing mode by clicking Right and selecting

Deactivate viewport.

Alternatively, I can select the frame of the viewport and lock the window in the properties

on the left.

The red frame indicates that the viewport is currently locked or deactivated.

Please note that the frames of the viewports do not appear in the final documentation later

on.

In the properties window I also have the option to change between work and realistic view

and change the color representation.

Furthermore, I can adapt the visualization.

The visualization modes are the same modes you can select with the shortcuts Command

1 to 4.
