I want to preface these questions by saying that

I'm not happily corrected

I would like to know what your thoughts are on that

he has raised question on different aspects of it

one is that

you know how we say that it is only one Quran

but you know he's come across

you know the issue of uh UBI Binqab

who had second copy of the Quran

or a different number of surahs in that

and he also mentioned that

you know there is different recitals uh readings

which he came across the video of Yasir Kadi

and the third he mentioned about uh

the burning power

is one of the scholars here in Australia

and how do I respond to that

in terms of his research and writings

um

I'll come down from the bottom end with Bernie Power

I already had a debate with him

and Alhamdulawi have resolved his matter

so it's done and dusted so whatever he writes now it's

I don't know who will follow that

but we had a big debate in Melbourne

and since then he is done with us

so what we do is

we do a public debate

with somebody who has questions about Islam

and we respond to that and after that

the people you know the community can make a judgment

you know what

what ability each speaker has

coming to the first part that

you know any

any other companion of the Prophet

who had a different number of suitors or copies

see when the Quran was revealed

you got to understand the Quran

when it

at the time of its revelation was revealed orally

the Almighty God reveal it to Prophet Muhammad

and they would write as well

so both of these

you know transmissions were done right

written script as well as the oral script

now when the written script was being done

say for example I and you

we both were scribes you attended seven sessions

I attended five

after five sessions I did not come back

so I thought whatever I recorded in five sessions

the hundred suras I thought the hundred chapters

it may be the complete Quran

another person who attended the seven sessions

got all the hundred and fourteen surahs

so when this was discussed up until that time

Prophet Muhammad memorized the whole Quran

he made several of his companies

memorize the entire Quran

and Quran you might be aware

it is recited in Ramadan

the entire Quran is recited and Prophet Muhammad

peace be upon him before his death in the last Ramadan

he recited the entire Quran twice

so the entire Quran's memorization was complete

its recital was complete

its recital was transmitted to several companions

all of them agree to the 1:14 chapters of the Quran

so there was never a disagreement or an argument

some who only had hundred of them

when they initially thought I only have hundred

is this the complete Quran

they were informed no after you left the session

we had 1 fourteen chapters

immediately agreed to it

so there has never been a disagreement on that

at the time of Osmanda Delahuan

the third caliph

as Professor Keith raised that question as well

previously Osmanda Dellanon

he burned certain copies of the Quran

why did he burn

this is all mentioned in the in the hadith

in Sahib Buhari volume number six

Hadi's No. 509 510

514 as well in Hadi's No. 204

all of this is mentioned there in detail

so nobody has found some new research

these hadiths the hadith itself gives the answer

in the hadith a person came to Usman

so 7 ways of reciting the Quran

I'll give you one example

the first surah of the Quran

sur fateha every Muslim memorizes that

it reads in the fourth words maliqi yaomedin

so those who know Arabic may understand that

Maliki Yomidin the alphabets remain the same

the second reading is Maliki Yomidin

instead of saying Malik you say Malik

both the meanings are fulfilled

in that ire in that words

but these are two different ways of reciting

because the Arabs had seven tribes

so when the Quran was revealed

it was for all the seven tribes

so all the seven dialects were included in it

so nobody else can add the 8 dialogue

you know one of my friends is Egyptian

the Egyptians they use god

they cannot now go to the Quran instead of Jah

they cannot make it god anymore

not an 8 reading it's not permissible

all the 7 readings come the front

what Yasir Kazi was referring to

he was saying he does not have

full understanding of all these recitals

just because he does not have

does not mean nobody else has

I have many others have in Muslim community

amongst the memorizers of the Quran

there are several memorizers

who memorize all the 7 ways of reciting it

so the Sabah a roof has got 10 combinations now

so we call it a sharaqira

10 recitals of the Quran

so there is no difference amongst Muslims

Sunisha or any part of the world

any language of the world

they all memorize for an

in that one 14 chapters skeleton and all the recitals

they choose one of those recitals

whatever is easier for them

but we have memorizers who have got all the seven

memorized by them so that responds to that

at the time of Prophet Muhammad

all the seven were revealed to him

all the seven ways of reciting it

so the alphabets were also replaced

for example in Surinas you recite

minsha in the facade so

all of these

replacement of the alphabets were also fully protected

all the recitals whatever recitals you have

all these trace back to Prophet Muhammad

and each recital has the memorizer of the Quran
