(Adapted from Yue Guan's "Blader Soul", a novel of iReader)

I'm here today

to solve the feud between the Wang and Yuan families.

What do you mean, Young Master Wang?

Naturally, I want us to be friends

and I want you to watch the anime.

There are so many animes on Bilibili.

Young Master Wang, which one are you talking about?

I like the recently aired "Blader Soul".

If you binge-watch it,

we can be good friends.

All right. I'll binge-watch "Blader Soul" immediately.

(Blader Soul)

(Episode 8: The Five-color Stones Gather. To the peak through the Yin-Yang Paths)

Steady!

One! Two!

(Daizong Hall)

Be careful.

Careful.

Here.

Pull the rope over there.

(Aolai Hall)

Careful.

Are you sure someone was following?

They left halfway.

Mo Tianji knows we will receive superpowers soon.

Did he reveal it to someone else?

I don't think so.

Doofus Mo is a stickler for rules.

Even though he left us out of anger,

he won't tell anyone about matters of the Mo Clan.

Zhou Yang said

the window to capture the meteor

was brief.

We should set up the defenses

in case someone tries to take advantage.

Yes.

Elder Qiu.

Do we

really need the superpowers?

Du Ruo solved the puzzle

but she did not open the final sphere.

After you gave me

the unlocked Tianji Puzzle that day...

Elder Qiu,

according to the previous leader's will,

the one who solves the Tianji Puzzle will become the next leader.

Du Ruo solved the Tianji Puzzle.

Elder Qiu, please host the takeover ceremony.

Nonsense!

Nonsense!

Those out there who broke into the mechanical city

know Du Ruo.

Moreover, Du Ruo

is just a teenage girl.

How can we let an outsider take over the Mo Clan?

Both of you, come in

and tell me everything.

I brought Du Ruo here.

To avoid the conflict of interest,

Doofus Mo will explain everything to you.

Hmph.

The girl solved the Tianji Puzzle inside the city

while her friends broke into the mechanical city from the outside.

They work together

and they are also acquaintances!

The leader did leave a will

but the person who solves the Tianji Puzzle and becomes the next leader

should be someone from the Mo Clan,

and not an outsider!

This is a mold for a Qin dynasty coin.

Tell me.

Why did the previous leader keep this

inside the Tianji Puzzle?

It's round on the outside and square on the inside,

like the planet that we know of.

It represents the Mo Clan's rules.

Since the mold of a Qin Dynasty coin is inside,

it means everyone on the land must obey

and observe the rules.

In that case,

why is the mold

split into two?

Huh?

What?

The Qin Dynasty had two emperors.

It collapsed due to strife.

The Han Dynasty rose after the Qin Dynasty.

There were two different dynasties.

A new mold is created

as a new dynasty is ushered in.

Thus born new rules.

Hmph.

That's another interpretation.

What

do you think of it?

The previous leader didn't want to break the rules

so he left it to his heir.

The Mo Clan waned

and the timing was wrong.

So we hid inside

the mechanical city.

We've been obeying rules for so long.

It is time to try something new.

I'll go and find the leader.

The heaven has its own plan.

Who will end up leading the Mo Clan?

(Yunchuan Wine Shop)

Stop.

Keep going forward for 200 li

and you'll arrive at Donghai County.

I'll take a detour

to find the mercenaries who are digging up the Earth Stone.

Both of you can head to Mount Tai first.

Let's meet at the foot of Mount Tai.

Giddy up!

Giddy up!

If we head east, we'll reach Donghai County.

If we head south,

we'll reach Xinyang.

We can go back for a short visit.

When Dayu fought the flood,

he passed by his home three times without going back.

Let's not waste time.

Yes.

Unfortunately, Tianxing and I must take the road

as our star power recovers way too slowly.

Even though you are holding the Five-color Stones,

they still absorb our star power.

Tianxing,

why can't we tell this to Warrior Ju?

Do you know

why Ju Taiheng refused to let me keep the Water Stone

and split up with us

to retrieve the Earth Stone alone?

That's...

He's being cautious.

Cautious?

Snatching his Five-color stones with your superpowers

is very easy.

That is why he has to take precautions.

If he knows

your superpowers are dampened by the Five-color Stones,

he might use that knowledge against you.

Warrior Ju is honest.

How will he do something so despicable?

Warriors in the martial arts world

live dangerously.

How can they not be cautious?

Anyway,

Her Ladyship has no intention of snatching the stones

but if he has his guard up,

both of us

also needs to have our guard up.

Giddy up!

Giddy up!

Mister,

we are closing soon.

This is...

This is from the previous dynasty...

That's right.

It might be heavy

but it is expensive.

I got it.

Warrior Ju, please take a look.

Hahahahaha!

Yuan, you've worked hard.

Let me offer a toast to you.

Hahahahaha!

Your undertaking

is a secret.

You didn't tell anyone else, right?

Not at all.

Warrior Ju,

what is

this item for?

I will only tell you alone.

This item is called Five-color Stone.

I'm delivering it to Mount Tai.

It can attract the star

and grant superpowers.

Superpowers?

The people of Qin

are warmongers.

And their coin daggers

are so useful.

It's swift as lightning.

And it's silently deadly.

(Yunchuan Wine Shop)

God hasn't forsaken me.

Even this barren land...

Save...

Save...

Save

me.

What do you want to buy?

I want something made.

Size?

Design?

Do you have a blueprint?

(Peak of Mount Tai)

Tonight,

the stars will fly over the peak of Mount Tai.

If we place the Five-color Stones well,

the stars will be guided into the cauldron.

Everyone on at the peak

will be granted the power of the stars

and gain superpowers.

Everything is ready.

Now, we wait for the Five-color stones.

Giddy up!

The path ahead is rough.

We need to get off the horse and walk.

Stop.

We are here.

Let's wait for Warrior Ju here.

Kill them!

Hello.

I've been waiting here for two days.

Was your journey to Luoyang

a smooth one?

Hahahaha!

Deliver the items to the peak.

Leave me here for now.

Listen to Caiwei.

Let's go.

My Lady...

Go.

With our current situation,

we need to meditate for two hours at least

to recover part of our star power.

Shouldn't we deliver the Five-color Stones first?

Why are you so calm?

Before Caiwei left, she asked Ruo

to lie that the Mo Clan had gone to Mount Hua,

should anyone ask about them.

How did Wang Yi know we are at Mount Tai?

I'm sure he has a spy

and knows we went to the mechanical city.

As for Mount Tai,

he probably followed the Mo Clan here.

What about Luoyang?

He mentioned our trip to Luoyang.

Were we tailed by a spy?

Knowing my speed,

no one can keep up with me.

Does that mean

someone from Mo Clan told him?

The only people who know we went to Luoyang

are Caiwei,

Ruo,

Master Zhou, and Elder Qiu.

Do they not know

that we're working together?

He knows.

Why did you send them away then?

For your own good.

I don't want you to get beaten up.

Beat me up?

Due to jealousy?

What do you think?

I like you more now.

Oh?

Weren't you the one who tricked me to the Wang Residence

and wanted me to marry a dead man?

Hahahahaha!

Once we have superpowers,

we will make the perfect team.

When the time comes,

I will be the one calling the shots

at the Wang Clan of Runan.

All of Runan County...

You will run

the entirety of Runan County.

Wrong.

Caiwei and I will run the county together.

After that night,

I've been waiting for you for an eternity.

What?

Caiwei asked us to leave first because...

One,

once we start fighting,

our star power will deplete immediately.

Then, we'll be exposed.

Two.

If we hide in the shadows,

Wang Yi won't do anything recklessly.

I...

I understand.

Ze,

you don't understand.

Three,

Caiwei is...

Who is it?

Don't get all intimate

in public.

Warrior Ju, you are late.

I've been rushing here day and night

without taking a break.

I united with my friends before I came here

and even bought a jar of wine.

Caiwei,

do you still have

the stones?

Qin Ze and Tianxing have them.

Where are they?

They went to deliver the stones.

Let me open a path

for us.

Who are you?

State your name.

The world

calls us the Mo Clan.

The Mo Clan?

Sorry for disrespecting you.

Is everything ready?

Yes.

Hahaha.

It's all a misunderstanding.

Since we have a common goal,

why not work together?

Work together?

The Mo Clan has guarded the peak of Mount Tai.

If we don't work together,

none of us can reach the peak.

Since the Mo Clan is guarding the peak,

what is he

doing here then?

Without him,

no one can reach the peak.

Not even us?

Yes.

Hahahaha!

Drink up.

Hmph.

You do have many connections.

Let's head to the peak.

Hahahaha!

My Lady!

The disciples of the Wang Clan and Yuan Clan,

Warrior Ju and his mercenaries,

and Mo Tianji and the fighters from Mo Clan.

There are a few cloth-covered carts behind them.

Four groups?

There are walking together

as a group.

The other group has more people.

They look like the Lan Clan from Lanling.

They are gathering at the foot of the mountain.

Lan Clan from Lanling?

Leave it here.

This is...

This is the improved version of Qianji Ballista.

The Qianji Ballista is a lost technique from Mo Clan's 12 Offensive and Defensive Techniques.

How do you know that?

Master Gongshu who lives behind the hills of Yuan Clan taught me.

Master Gongshu?

I see. You learned all about traps

from him.

The road to the peak of Mount Tai

is split into the Yin and Yang paths.

The best way

is for us to take both paths.

After you.

Let's go.

Depart.

You didn't tell the clans

about the Five-color Stones, right?

No.

How many people will be benefited when the meteor passes by?

Ten people at most.

How many people can head up the mountain

with five stones?

Both of us.

What about the people behind me?

They'll need to resign to their fate.

Everyone, set up an ambush at the mountain.

Both of us will scout ahead.

Ze,

Caiwei is on the other side.

Here is where I outsmart you.

She is safe

with Warrior Ju.

Mo Tianji

is colluding with Wang Yi and the rest.

We need to take a look.

You think I don't know what you want?

Just check on Her Ladyship.

I will monitor them.
