Thank you.

Morning. Morning. Please come inside.

Thanks. I'm looking for my uncle.

Your uncle. My uncle's name is

Tang Li Sun. I'm sorry. You must have

the wrong place. But he

wrote me.

Here. I have this letter.

It's this address. Sir, what is the

matter? This guy is looking for his uncle.

His name's Tang Li Sun. Oh, and what

does he look like?Is he fat?Yes, that's

right. My name is Tommy. I'm

his nephew. Oh, but he left for Meilin a

year ago. How's that?Oh,

God. What shall I do?That's your problem.

The reason I came here was to ask my

uncle... to find me

a job. I don't even have enough...

money to return home. Ah, my son, you are

young. Why not stay and get a job here?

You could do worse, but karate

is all that I know. Oh, not

that way. That's not the way to earn

money. You can do the

dishes or deliver the food for us.

Sure, sureGood.

Then stay here and help me and maybe you

can meet your uncle later. Thank

you. Thank you.

So?

Master. Master.

Master. Now, you can

practice in groups. Yes, master.

You go over there. Yes.

Students, watch the demonstration.

How dare you leave your work. What's

wrong with you anyway?Do you want to be

fired?Go and deliver those goods.

Yes. Now I want you to listen carefully

to my instructions.

Kick. The

other one. Kick.

The other one. Hold it!

Master. Bring ice. Master.

Thank you, ma'am.

I'm very sorry. I didn't see your bike.

It's my fault. I should not have left it

there. You couldn't help it.

I'm very sorry. Take this.

But it's my fault. You're not to blame.

What's that? You've done it again. Well,

get out.

Let me help you.

HuhOh, it's you.

Miss Sai, come with me.

Daughter, I will teach him

karate. All he can learn.

Father, you're so kind.

Thank you, Master. Thank you.

But then you must wait. I want you

to do some odd jobs. Oh, and

I will come and let you know when you

can practice. Thank you.

Now, don't worry, you take him

around. You make sure he gets settled

in here first.

Thank you. Thank you.

Come here.

Morning. Morning.

You better watch out. Don't you look in

there without my permission. Yes, Sir.

Hello. I've cleaned your

bike. Here,

wash it. Yes.

Hmm

Boy, get up.

You want to practice?Glee.

Beat me. Fight.

Up. Come on.

Fight. Come

on.

Come onYou

think you're no karate.

Get up.

Get up.

Tommy. Tommy, what happened?

Oh.

Thalmaster, it's my fault.

What's this about?Lamb did this to

him.

Then it's my fault. I have taught him

to be like this. Master,

this is... My responsibility.

It's not you. You see?

Why's that?If I...

had practiced... this...

This never would have happened. Now you

take him to lie down. Yes. Uh..

Father... I don't understand.

Why don't you allow him... To practice

with the others. My

dear, I know what I'm doing.

HuhBut you mean he's not ready?

My dear, your friend has great

potential. That's why... That's

why you want to test him.

You're right. Fine jewels,

they have to be polished.

before they're able to shine.

Well, then, as from tomorrow, he can

practice with the others.

Father! Really?Master said this to you?

He said you could start practicing as

from tomorrow.

That's great. Now I'm a whole man.

You're great, too.

Get up.

Concentrate. Try again.

Attention, everyone. Salute.

Just work harder and you will see.

All right. Free practice now.

Master. Good luck.

Now then. Free attack competition

begins now.

Now you know the rules. Begin.

of the province will start soon. You must

practice hard for it. Yeah. Tommy!

What is it?

Go sweep the floor. Yes.

Can we?You've changed quite a

bit. I

hear you're in love with a car driver.

Were you heard wrong?

I hope so. You're wasting your time if

you stick around with him.

Thank you,

And

the result is to the left.

The winner of the Free Attack Competition

is Tommy!

Give him a big hand and the first one up

is our chance.

My

friend. Shall I teach you how to hit the

planks now?Sure.

You see this?

Understand?Yeah.

You try, Tommy. Okay.

Hi, Tommy. So, we

meet again, eh

My failure last time was just a fluke.

Let's have another match. How

about it?Look here, Archer.

Practice for health, and not just for

revenge. HmmShut up.

I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to

him. Be reasonable. Hmm

Tommy, since he's so stubborn, you'd

better show him. Come on.

Hot! Hot!

Hot!

Yeah! Hot! Hot!

Hot! Hot!

Hot! Hot!

Hot! Hot!

Hot!

Tommy, let him go this time.

I'll be back. Don't you worry.

Good morning, my friend. Good morning.

Why are you sweeping up?Yeah, it's

getting to be a bit of a habit, huhWell,

when are you finished, join our practice,

okay?OkayHey!

Master, it's him. Ohh

So you're Tommy, ehWhy did you hurt my

man?No. Mister,

it's a misunderstanding.

It wasn't started by me.

Huh You call it a misunderstanding?

When you hurt my man,I'll teach you, you

bastard

Hold it.

Master. Mr. Lowe,

what's going on?

Why do you fight him?My

student was hurt by this guy, that's why.

Really?You better believe it.

Father, it isn't his fault.

It was our tat who challenged him.

It's none of your business. Go away.

Father, I was the one who persuaded him

to fight. Punish me if you want to.

You stupid kid. Hold it!

Apologize to Mr. Lowe. Your fault.

Mr. Lowe, forgive me.

All right, I'll forgive you this time.

Come on.

Master, the blame lies with me, not with

my friend. I should be punished.

Master, Tommy picked a fight with a

weaker man. Our school's

reputation's damaged by him.

Father, you can't believe what they're

saying. I'm sure Tommy's innocent.

Innocent?He has already admitted

everything. He must leave for the

sake of our school.

Tommy, is it true?Did you

really start the fight?

Yes. And you should punish him.

Listen, as master of this school, I

announce that... Tommy must leave

right away.

That's it. That's it.

Here.

I am sorry, but I

I cannot help.

I know that you

left the school because of power,

but he really didn't want you

to have to go.

What would you like to drink?Uh, two

cokes.

how is the master?Fine.

But Tan Wei is sad.

She didn't want you to

become a rickshaw driver again.

And also, Lam has asked Tan Wei

whether she will marry him.

Obviously, he's up to something.

And what?

If he can manage to marry my sister,

then he will become the master of the

school.

The national championships will be

starting soon. I hope that you can beat

him. Thanks.

Get

your news. Yes, baby.

Newspapers! Hey, hold that,

boy. Thank

you. Hang on. Newspaper!

Get your newspaper! Hey, I'll have

one. Thank

you.

What?

You want to marry Tan Wei?Yes.

I'd be able to help you a lot if I was to

become your son-in-law. Oh. Ohh

You want to become

master of this school, am I right?

Yes. You should know that I really don't

care about this place. But I

care about one thing, and that's Tan Wei.

But you are saying that I am not good

enough. Frankly speaking,

a man of my talents, I know I

could find a job anywhere.

The reason I stay here is because I want

to marry your daughter soon. And

you are a young fool. If you

think it is so easy to find a better job,

then leave. Master, you want me

to leave, but don't you regret it.

you can leave now. I would never let

my daughter marry a man like you. All

right, but you will come begging.

Father. That way.

Father.

Father, thank you for protecting me. I

would never marry thatBastard

Lamb has won the annual national

championships. Try and

get him to join us.

Hello. Your name is Lam, isn't it?

Oh, and how do you know my name?

You're from the Golden Eagle Kornfull

School. You won the national

championships. You're right. But

don't you mention that school to me?Why

not?I have already left

there, that's why.

Oh, you have left for a better place?

And do you think that I'm wrong?I

don't. You're the champion. You can find

yourself a better job than that. Hmm

I wouldn't mind becoming a coach again

if the conditions were right. What are

your conditions?

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help

overhearing. Oh,

are you the master of Dragon School?Yes.

And congratulations. Why?

Do you think you can beat me and become

the champion? No, no, no, no, noI don't

want to. I would like you to be my coach.

Oh, what conditions?

Let us have a drink 1st and talk later.

Huhin me! Don't set me

free!

Don't set me free!

Tommy is out. Well, where

is he?I don't know where

he is. Would you tell him for

me?My father's sick and

would like to see him. All right,

I'll tell him. Hmm, thanks.

Father, take your medicine.

Master. Uh,

Tommy. Master.

Forgive me. I had no idea you were

ill. It's all right.

I'm just glad that you came... to see

me. Master, you taught me

many things. I will never forget my debt

towards you.

And how are you earning your living?

I couldn't help myself. I have to live.

I've gone back to driving. That's good.

You're still earning a living.

That's better than living off your

friends. Master,

I have brought this for you. Please, will

you take it?Tell me.

You're too kind. You

really shouldn't have bothered.

Cao. Cao Wei.

Master, take good care of

yourself. I will come and see you

again when I have time.

I must go now.

Now, Tommy,

I see that you haven't forgiven

me yet at all. Master,

I. Tommy. He

means that he would like you to come back

and join us again.

Master. Faster!

Doggy.

Again.

All right, back in place.

Master. Coach. You

must be tired. Let's have a chat, huh

After you.

Please. Uh, sit down.

Cigarette. No, thanks.

Hey, do you agree with me

that I'm best fighters in my school?

HmmWhat I'm getting

at is we should make use.

Use of this chance. What do you think, huh

Hmm

I think we should try to control places.

Good. We should control all the schools,

including Golden Eagle. Right. Umm

Those two strikes are like this and like

that. Understand?Remember.

Hello. Sister. Hi. Sister, how

is Father? He's much better. I'm going to

pick some herbs. Hey, I'll do it. But

you have to practice. That's okay. I'll

take care of master. Here.

See you later. Yes.

Bulls!

There.

Get ready. Yes.

Begin.

One, two,

three, four.

Hold it.

So now you're the coach, ehHey, watch

what the hell you're saying. My friend,

I've come to challenge you. And do you

know the rules?Of this school?

Of course. One-to-one.

Very well, then. I'll take you on.

Come on.

Chan you first.

Stand back. My

pleasure.

Ohh

Your fighting's good.

Umm You deserve to be the coach.

Now it's our turn.

Okay, if that's what you want.

How long?

My friend, what happened?

It was Lamb. He he

to teach you again.

Damn. That lamb.

I'll find him. Tommy!

Buster.

Ah

Master. Tommy. I can't

let you go. All right.

Father, how can you let

him get away with it?It's

useless. Vengeance will never solve

problems of this kind.

Better come rest.

Dr. Wang said that I'm very weak.

My health is failing fast.

I am therefore putting you in charge of

the school now. You

must... Look after it well.

Father, you can trust me. You know I'll

do my best.

Even if I recover...

I'm afraid I will never be well enough to

teach you again.

But anyway...

You've all got black belts. And

I've got an idea. You can

continue your studies in Hong Kong, but

one of you will have to stay

here. The only question

remains, which one?

Master.

I think your son should go.

No. I will stay here with father.

oh Father, we'd better draw lots to

decide who's the one to stay here.

Hey, that is the best way to settle the

matter. Father,

I'll write on two pieces of paper. One is

marked go and the other one is blank.

The one who chooses the piece of paper

marked go will have to go.

Is that okay?

Ah, friend, you choose first.

You go first, my friend. No,

I wrote them. So you have to

take the first one.

I'm the one.

Congratulations. Thank you.

You're very lucky.

There's no need to open this one.

Now that's settled. I'll write you a

letter of introduction immediately.

You leave tomorrow morning.

He's the master.

Master Wang. You must be

Tommy. Welcome to Hong Kong. Thanks.

Thank you, Master. You must work

hard. I've already read your letter

of introduction. I will listen to

your instructions. You

take a rest now and start tomorrow. Yes.

Oh, Tommy. Here's a letter for you. Oh,

thanks. Here. From

your home?That's right.

Tunway. Tommy has

been gone for two weeks now.

That's right. It's actually 15 days.

Umm You've been counting the days.

Tommy is really a

good boy. He's considerate

and hardworking, too. You're too

kind to him. In all this time, he

hasn't even sent us one letter.

The chances are he's probably far too

busy to write. Don't you

worry. He'll be all right.

I know you'll miss him. Father.

Father. It's a letter from Tommy.

Now, you can stop worrying about him.

Will you read it to me, please?

Master, I'm fine, and I hope you are,

too. I arrived in Hong Kong in the

afternoon, and I very soon met Master

Wang. And

on the following day, we started our

practices.

In the short time that I've been here,

I've learnt quite a lot.

It's very hard work. Well, I knew that it

would be. Please give

your brother my regards and to Tanwei.

Love, Tommy.

Tanwei.

Tanwei. Father, you called.

Yes, I did call.

Tomorrow, when you're free, you write a

letter to Tommy. Yes, Father.

Wait. Let me show you. Ohh

You see that?Now you do

it. Yes. Get up.

Begin!

Stand back. Get up.

Begin.

Hmm

Not that. Thank you.

Thank you.

Again. Good luck.

Friend. Tommy. You work hard. Do

you practice alone?Yes.

The examination. I mustn't fail that,

must I?Right.

You've been here quite a time. After your

graduation, you're going back home?Yes.

Okay, let's go back.

Breathe out.

That's all for now. Sit down.

Ready?Ready.

Begin.

What do

you want?

The master, of course. Help me find him.

Get him out here, ehHe isn't here.

Claudia, you lie.

What's going on?

Huh

This guy's worse than useless. Break the

signboard.

Oh! Who

are you?Who are you?Same is.

This school. It's only for those who want

to lure. Don't dare cause any trouble.

You're pathetic. Gonna ask

your friends to protect you?I can

take you on by myself. All right.

Hey.

My friend, get going.

Hot.

Hot. Hot.

Hot.

Tinder!

Tinder!

Kaiser!

All right.

To the

left. Thank you.

The next bout is Tommy versus you, Sir

Kwang.

Master.

Ready. Good luck. This is free attack.

Begin.

Ready.

Hot!

That's hot!

Hot!

Yeah

yeah Stop.

Tommy,

you get your black belt. Fifth stage.

Now tell me how must have died.

Lam killed him. What?

How did he kill him?

One night, Lam broke

into our apartment. He

came to Rei Tan Wei.

Father tried to beat him,

and he was so sick ever since that night.

God damn that lamb. He's a filthy

bastard

He betrayed our school

and killed our master.

I'll find a bastard and kill him. I've

tried to get even.

I was beaten

after we buried my father.

I went to look for him.

Hmm

No.

But

I I was wounded by him.

It was nearly over.

Because of my sister, I recovered.

But I lost my confidence.

Master, I am

back. I willMake

sure that the Golden Eagle School lives.

Who's there?It's me. Come in.

What is it?Tommy has returned.

What's so special about that? But he

has reached the fifth stage of black

belt. What's worse,

the Golden Eagle School has reopened

under his name. And they...

have many new students.

HmmTerrific. Wait till I see him.

Oh, so you've come back again, eh

Aren't you ashamed of yourself?Teaching

Trudeau?HuhI'm not

afraid of your black belt. How about a

fight?

Ignore him. Huh

Let me teach him a lesson. Hmm

Hmm

No! We've wounded him.

Let's spare him. This time.

You. YouHim. Move.

What?Tommy has

wounded Lamb?Yes, master.

Since he's so good at fighting, I think

only Yamakuti can beat him.

They have asked Yamakuti if he will

challenge me to a fight to the death.

This must be their last hope.

Do you accept their challenge?

For the sake of the respect of this

school, I have to.

But then...

Yamakuti holds a ninth grade black belt.

He's no fool. You be

careful. I will.

Don't you worry.

Please.

That's him.

My friend. Wow.

You guts. Huh I'm not

afraid. I will die.

For what is right. HmmYou

will. Don't worry. I will

make sure that you die. Cut the talk.

How about the fight? Will you fight fair?

HmmAll right. I'll

try. But before me, you must fight

him.

Ohh

You wait.

yeah

Now you die.

Hot!

Hot!

oh

Tenway. Come.

Let's go.
