great number of times

he had been shot
at and survived.

most of his time now

company of Dawn Dolan,

whose bodyguard he had
once been, and whose friendship

had raised him into the ranks
of New York's gangster elite.

behind-the-scenes racketeer,

get their supply? Turkey
and the Near East.

From there, they
smuggle it into Greece

and onto ships
