big-time racketeer.

For Eliot Ness and
his Untouchables,

the trophy room
was a federal prison,

and one of their prizes was
a man named Nick Segal.

Because of collusion
and protection

in political circles,
this vicious killer

of at least six people

was serving three
years for violation

of the Volstead Act, and...

Nick Segal was
now eligible for parole

after serving one
year of this sentence.

an unknown partner

had operated the largest

South Side of Chicago.

off the operation.

and obviously, that

had been waiting for
for a year and a half.

Segal's been in here,

he's received no
visitors, not one.

be a federal agent?

high up in the syndicate.

returned to the headquarters

of The Untouchables with a plan.

and there was no

But through an ironic twist
of fate, he didn't make it.

He stopped for some peanuts.

That was his mistake.

For the past six months,
the vending machines

protective organization
had been on the lookout

for a petty crook who was
tampering with their machines.

Within one hour, Eliot Ness
was informed of Keifer's arrest.
