Duke we stopped playing with that thing

you're going to scare all the fish out

of the Bayou I'm just trying to find out

how the Saints did up a North's

afternoon here you are surrounded by a

forest primeval and you're worried about

a football game will be now soon yeah I

figure about 40 minutes from Ravens

Landing I didn't say anything when we

pass Ravens Landing

no no uh I used to come down here about

Oh three or four times a year

I remember shallows near the landing not

many city folk come in here here the

pirate rules I give well I'm missing a

lot of good fishing speaking of ghosts

you ever see a peak librarian around

here he's a quite a legend

boss I haven't seen Adele Lela

wholesome old boy on a Mabel's in you

what do you think he might and that is

subtle is a sledgehammer dude it's

pretty country in a way it's almost easy

to understand oh man might hate the

thought of an oil company coming in here

- now but not enough to blow up a drilling - rig and kill the watchman

Down the menu

you know as my grandfather said if you

can see them they can see you yeah well

I can't see them neither can I

wait a minute wait a minute think I got

a customer again I mean again trout just

know it's a question of time once the

old Massa comes back

easy easy give it a loser to meet losin

money on anyway huh give you a hand hold

on easy Mike

oh look at his side to that baby could

be a big one yeah yeah the fat one how

big I think it's about 12 inches 12

inches ha ha you know that makes four

for me Duke none for you don't rub it in

with your pal

all right you put him in there with all

those other three where there are four

flat ones that's strange we haven't seen

any signs of obreon always around here

somewhere could be anywhere

how does a guy like that live I'll make

me off the land max get over your marker

come on you know I think fishing

trapping what if he was expecting

somebody

you mean us Oh someone like us is if

that drilling rig blew up maybe your

investigator from the oil coming self

yeah all right let's go I am working up

an appetite okay come on max here we go

boy come on home sweet home it's all set

up Mike good good

mic radios gone go on

yeah I don't understand forshay did

everything we asked until we pitched the

tent he set up the cooking pot and I

know I chopped the wood set the fire

but since want to make for him to steal

our radio some take off without even

saying a word to us obviously he's not

coming back well live and learn

one man's radio is another man's in

money now what no no I think we better

find lover en not their business he

decides then follow the bayous on to

Mumbai on that's a stretch of the legs

from here pal well dude I mean if it's

uh you know if it's too much for you uh

I got a good idea let's eat not like

Mike and Duke they were supposed to

contact a game warden it would have

taken the more than five minutes why'd

the warden station say they haven't

heard what are they doing they're really

Oh looking for a man who bought 25

pounds of dynamite three years ago and

might have had enough left of Oakland

oil rig that mr. pages got me insured do

you think we are a coral mrs. page

No one of the kids had the virus now

let's have enough on her hands oh look

they'll probably radio in any minute why

don't you just go on ahead well I am an

awful lot to do tonight anyway all it's

all right I'm sit around here which one

to myself and I couldn't talk you into a

few hands of rummy before I late I'll

- get the cards I'll put up a pot of - coffee

There you go coffee's on

I feels like we got a choice between

mrs. case beaches or Paris etalon is

okay

I'm going down for some world water

that's matter water moccasin I think I

put my hand right on it Claire we're

especially part of my right hand doesn't

look like much more than a couple of

insect bites right now stay still

absolutely still Grizz emerges again

this way here behind me you tourniquet

inhale that and

I was a puncture right there that's it

it's a good inch and a half in the

artery anyway look you wanna make the

cut

no I'm sure you don't okay no more yeah

that's more for me president is next

time night Sun Goes Down it's dark

before you know it

assume do we know that depends I see

Savannah means the central nervous

system could be real trouble to get you

into the bloodstream it's a period of

alternating chills and fever though

words you to get well and you die

I think you were medical school dropout

as part of the reorientation in Oakhurst

oh the man who's blind is alone any

false cuts himself whatever does he do I

can't get handy yeah yeah yeah I feel

tired

every time that me anything he's had a

long day better get some rest

maybe you're right

I wish there was some way to get word to

him that was she was up most of last

night with Carolyn

nice piece of equipment

you get in the bargain library and I

could have got 200 E's in the world in

two years a 10 gold still don't see what

you want with it he told me about the

fisherman he brought the radio that's

all you need to know why don't you go

get drunk for che

only death they'd be able to tie you and

to would be that watchman's go get drunk

for che I found this like a detective

please you asked me to watch out for

strangers I asked myself why now I think

I know you ain't got nothing to worry

about Pete I'm the only one that

suspects you dynamited that all rigged

well that night watchman he must have

been sleeping when you boo him to

kingdom come

I didn't know he was there I never meant

for him to die but you don't mind

killing these other two that's different

they're hunting for me well maybe this

radio is worth more than $50 to you how

much more or say 500 first you take

money from them to detectives or

policemen and whatever they're then you

betrayed him man's got a limb

y'all get drunk for shake

nope

your coffee smells like it could rest

the pot are you feeling oh pretty good

nice good good yeah as long as it's hot

anyway thanks how are you feeling I'm

fine

ah just as I thought

I'm sorry hey Mike I'm sorry about last

night and I'm great ah no no let's

forget that really okay I get some DEET

and then we can head back take our time

wait a mean head back you gotta be

feeling a little rocky it's gonna be

tough enough getting out of here as it

is I'll tell you what they'll take us at

least a couple of days to hike back in a

couple of days we get hit more by on and

if we get real lucky we can still run

into La Brea now wait wait a minute

don't get you sure you have to all that

there's a bear scratch is back in the

woods oak Wow what's a choice might stay

here - what yeah I guess you're right

okay okay we will strip down a little

travel light huh okay here's the

business auntie Oh doc constable forgive

me for interrupting but I am NOT all

that concerned about the guide I'm

concerned about the two men he's working

for yes I understand that

um what about the game warden the Crown

Point ah all right never mind

oh yes it's been nice talking to you

constable oh yeah I haven't heard a

thing now there's Dukes office I mean

not a word all night huh I'm glad you

came come on in I've been on the phone

with the entire Police Department of a

place called lo buy on a comfortable

Padgett and understand what do you mean

well the guide was supposed to go to

this town stay over and then come back

for them apparently never showed up at

mobile at all can't they send in a

search helicopter well I could but they

really need the guide to tell them

- exactly where he dropped Mike and took - off

After Lance oh she's not better I uh

I've sent them in school and Caroline

sang with my mother my nerve just seemed

to be going and you know how 11-year

- olds are they can pick up an incipient - hysteria

Get it yeah that's all of it hey all set

yeah let's go next come

funny how you take things are granted

canticle things like the radio on a boat

falling three Mike couple of steps oh

okay I got it

okay back to come on black John yeah

yeah yeah yeah I never occurs to you

something of buying a sporting a store

in Canal Street could turn out to be the

difference between life and death that's

just a couple of days away too

Duke this matter and put it in place my

legs my Chi I have no strength in them

all what else I have an over one leg all

of a sudden all of a sudden well I've

had it for a while since you woke up

yeah since I woke up look do if you

think you can walk huh

I don't know I'll try

yeah okay come on my god I hardly know

my legs are there died on the headache

what is it add up to doc that means we

didn't get all the venom out

I'm not exactly relieved to hear that

and see we've come left at five six

miles

yes I'm like that little urgh right you

can't carry me all through the blinds

we're done everything you can go on

going on take off

mm yeah I do Qi you just take it easy al

I'll be back soon

you

all right boy we gotta find it by yard

I'll get some help any help

all right look close your eye find the

water

hello anybody here I guess you know what

I was looking for

see GRCC this is CG 1 4 2 4 we have

observed both similar to your

description map Coordinates 2136

41 51 craft appears unoccupied over ring

confirming coordinates 2 1 3 6 4 1 5 1

continue search inland from this fix and

advise results over

oh well is for me see how Carolyn is

right get to let out we're still be

waiting for you but then they would tell

you Alice and me we're gonna be parents

again where are we

when a cabin tax huh don't you get me

here and drag you

okay

now the compass needle still seems to be

pointing north and the Sun is about the

right angle at the ending West

so cold

all right of the status' lifestyle

they're jokes any better you heard from

Alison that kids know don't you know

there's no way I

yeah are you I just finished talking to

them on the transmitter if I tell you

what you get back we'll take a lesson

Ingrid's not to dinner

we'll go for around a famous physicist a

that sounds it sounds good

all I'm saying is that he didn't have to

go and mic either for that matter they

both thought they did I mean they felt

they had so little to go on some old

invoice are some dynamite and some

threats that robbery and made in some

bar when he was drunk they felt it was

their job to find laundry and questioned

it that's just the point it isn't Dukes

job anymore we've been through all those

years his job now is to sit in the 25th

floor office and wear those 150 dollar

suits and send other people out into the

swamp people like Mike I don't care I've

been through everything with him the war

all the years he was a investigator in

the field but half the time he's looking

for the same people the police are

looking for I've been through it all

once Mickey is just a memory right

through it again I what Oh Alice yes you

can they do what they have to do I

didn't mean that I didn't mean anything

I know you didn't I just don't want let

them down you haven't let him down hello

okay just a minute it's for you hello

yes why can't they start looking from

there oh I see no I'll be here thank you

the helicopter spotted the boat they

were in but it's abandoned

maybe 25 miles from where they think

Mike and Duke landed what about the

guide I'm not a word well I'm not gonna

stop looking no no it's just that

there's only about an hour of light left

so they're going to send a search party

out from the boat in the morning

oh yeah

witness you you'll get that doctor

Nandor stuff don't you get that doctor

hand now no no like I can't believe that

she's she she's had nine easy months not

that much pain not that much pain at all

what oh no baby

well it's gotta be a chance if we take

it huh

no I I guess we just gotta take it

mm-hmm let me go in and explain it to me

a lot easier if I do it yeah Darrin

thank heaven I don't think we can stay

here leave it there they're already

between us and alive hey Kevin oh great

your chair there need help

no pattern Thanks ah-ha

dear God I know that this is part of

life but he's friend huh a good friend

I'm asking to be your well I can getting

back to his wife kids

I'll pick up the kids in a few minutes

myself Mona could you just get them

dressed and say as little as possible

bye I think I better get started Mickey

would you like some coffee before you go

no no thanks I think I better take the

kids to school and just stick to their

usual routine I understand I'll call you

if I hear anything at all and vice versa

this way when we do here one way or

another I'll be with them I noticed with

kids it's not so much what they have to

take good or bad it's also his rhythm

when it comes to Mike Duke how's it

going thanks man

no favors no chills No

what about headache it's gone gone

Oh God I listen not to quite a cliche

but I think maybe you're out of the

woods yeah I just feel super weed you oh

that's all right don't don't worry about

that now here to worry about it son to

hang on

you can spot a yeah hammering some nail

uh Mike I don't mean to pry but I see

how rigged up a kind of a letter for you

so Mike I only slow you down I'm all

right here you let take packs and go on

on my way on and Mike you can send

somebody back for me you knew that pact

huh how you wants to stay here and rest

while we're hiking in the hot Sun

Doku kiss is this what I think it is

looks like our radio how'd I get here I

don't know I suppose for shame ride

maybe this is his kid before che stole

it he he would have tried to fence it

New Orleans maybe yeah unless he figured

he had a customer right here I'm breanne

he blew that a little rig he could have

asked for shade to keep an eye out for

strangers

where's your pistol do my radio wasn't

the only thing for Shay still many

weapons around here the cabin link known

that I've stumbled over lately

WCAG 402 to cg Rescue Coordination

Center dia Reed

w za z 402 - Rescue Coordination Center

do you read fast also

just horrible to Rescue Coordination

Center very clean signal so cat radio

position immediately Coast Guard will

respond over this night I can't give you

an exact location but we're we're

proximately 20 miles north of Ravens

Landing that's right Alice and the Coast

Guard said a helicopter should be over

their position in half an hour okay and

kiss the kids for me huh

they found them I don't know all the

details but they just radioed the Rescue

Coordination Center there all right the

helicopters gonna bring them home I

think this someone I didn't like no

maybe it's the cabins on there like give

me up I'll take a look

see anything did you get a look at him

floor or less I don't think it's worth

che that its librarian so nobody has to

do was walk in here and finish us off no

no no it's not that opening shot can't

be sure what kind of shape we're in

what was he waiting for

listen do how you try and stall him he

does come in with try new some of these

flares is a whole bunch of

we're in asking questions what questions

out the oil rig a watchman who is killed

the two of us in here can tell us Bolton

get away with it

I'm beyond they'll say the swamps claim

to more victims look at there's no

reason to kill us unless you blow up

that rig

it is blog yeah you don't belong here

Sabri is be reasonable in a couple of

years II might have an oil well right

here Oh server this lines been the same

but go on again I mean is going to be

honest here you can't kill them all and

they'll have to kill me

here he comes 50 feet 25 feet

please come in

do what happened I him the log

they'll be out for a while sorry

terrific I tell you the truth I don't

think I'd like to do this for what

I think I just go online though they fun

right please you do that

and the body of George forshay was

discovered in a shallow grave eat lie

Briana's in custody and will stand trial

in Lafourche Parish

it's frightened enough not knowing what

went on I would have been scared to

death if I'd known you see what you

don't know won't hurt you

very original thank you what time did

you make the reservation for 10:30

ah I'd say that's about right ladies

yeah hmm you haven't lost your touch

friend I'm glad to hear that friend I

wonder what's keeping Mike maybe a

better nudge him no no don't bother I

had the same trouble with him on the

bayous the more you're trying to rush

him the slower he goes I thought I'd

never get him out of there that's better

biggest time we haven't kept um we uh no

no I uh I was listening to the news so

were we

well let's see what's gonna be a nice

dose take food seafood oh oh that's like

coals to Newcastle I should have seen

all the fish we caught we I thought Duke

came up empty he's a friend Alice he's

just trying to make me look good with

folks home ah let's forget the seafood I

had enough fish for a month always for

spaghetti Lana I think I'm ready first

and
