In the criminal justice system

the people are represented
by two separate yet equally important groups,

the police
who investigate crime

and the district attorneys
who prosecute the offenders.

Thanks to him,
we have a freshman at Hanford University.

He had a way with people, being from the streets.

the lights were on in the center.

Chase's body said Haven Center's lights were off.

Mr. Lamaine
did not see Lionel Kendry.

Jerome Warren couldn't
have committed this crime, Mr. McCoy.

He's a bright, young
college student, not a thug.

I'm sure Mr. Lamaine thinks
he was doing the right thing, but he's mistaken.

Maybe Mr. Lamaine
made a mistake.

Maybe the officers
made a mistake.
