(This drama was remade based on historical facts.)

- Let go! - She's...

my only daughter!

How can you ask me to sell her at this price?

Would you like to join your daughter?

If you do, I'll pay you five more yang.

What about the wench that ran away?

Did you find her?

I'm being chased.

Please help me. Please help me, my lady.

Just like today, it also snowed that night.

I was sold off to an old man as his concubine,

but I hit him on the head...

and ran away.

If I get caught by them,

I'll end up as a concubine for a man in the Qing Dynasty.

How old are you?

13 years old?

14 years old?

Yes.

That's how old I was too.

I was only 14.

- Stop! - Stop right there!

Stop!

The night I got chased and ended up on the edge of the world,

someone reached out to me and held my hand.

However, what do you think...

ended up happening to me?

I ended up...

betraying him...

and became a concubine for a man who was much older.

Pardon?

You will end up the same way.

That's why...

I'm not going to help you.

It's better to wake up...

from an empty dream as fast as possible.

No, please don't go.

Please help me, my lady.

Please save me.

No, my lady. Please, my lady.

My lady, please don't leave!

The world will become white for a while.

But of course,

that is also why things will get even messier.

My lady, please don't leave!

Here's the darn money!

Are you happy now, my lord?

You're going to get yourself in trouble too.

Let me go!

What more do I have to lose? I had to sell off my daughter!

Take this dirty money!

What's wrong? What's the matter?

My goodness, my lord!

My goodness gracious!

(Paying for one's sins by dying)

My goodness, my lord!

My gosh!

(Episode 9: The Strike of Man)

It seems like these men had a blast last night.

Where were the guys from?

They were from the Saheonbu.

- The Saheonbu? - Yes.

What was that sound?

Help.

Oh my goodness.

Help.

What is all this?

Look over here. And over there.

What is all this mess?

Are... Are they...

Are... Are they dead?

Is anyone there?

- Master Mun Su? - Gun... Gun Tae.

Why are you hanging upside down?

Help... Help me.

Those punks.

Gosh, I'm dying.

My hat. Where's my hat?

First, it was the Crown Prince. And now, it's you?

This is a courtesan house, not a linen shop.

Thank you.

By the way, what time is it right now?

It's almost 7:30am.

What? No!

I'm going to be dead if I'm late.

I guess the Saheonbu inspectors tried to haze him.

(Hazing: The imposition of strenuous tasks to welcome someone)

They must've really got to him. I found him hanging upside down.

Gosh, the Saheonbu is known for being harsh with discipline.

Do you think he'll be able to endure it?

He has a strong backbone.

Dal Moon.

About that girl you brought with you...

Did she wake up? How is she?

Yeo Ji!

Where's Master Mun Su? He's not here yet, is he?

It's not just him.

None of the newbies are here.

I'm sure they made them drink all night last night.

We'll have to greet the chief inspector soon.

He'll be dead meat if he's late. What should we do?

This is war, Ah Bong.

We should protect our own superior.

Grab your weapon.

- What's going on? - I'm sorry.

Goodness.

Hey, hey!

Inspector Park, are you also late?

Come on. We're late.

- Come on! - Wait!

- Wait! - Goodness, Inspector Lee!

Come on! Let's go!

Are you okay? Come on!

I won't be able to make it.

You should save yourselves.

That's nonsense.

We should live and die together!

Until what time did you guys drink?

- All night. - All night.

Let's run. We're almost there.

We can't be late!

Come on.

The chief inspector is here!

Everyone, in position!

- Hello, sir. - Hello, sir.

Let us go.

Are the new inspectors still going through the hazing ritual?

A few of them won't be able to show up in time.

- Let us get going. - Yes, sir.

Yes, sir.

The new inspectors didn't show up just because they had a few drinks?

I will let them have a taste of the fiery pit.

Let's go!

But why...

Why isn't the chief inspector coming?

What? Did you say that the roof tiles are loose?

Yes, my lord.

They seem like they might collapse.

Especially the ones on top of the gate.

Does that mean...

even just passing through would be dangerous?

It's best to stay safe.

Please wait for a moment.

Okay.

It's best to stay safe.

Gosh, what are they doing?

Master.

Master Mun Su. Hurry.

Okay.

Master.

Go to the back door.

We should back up?

The back door.

I see. We should runaway backwards.

What? Up? You're going up?

You idiot. Why would you guess that?

I thought he said he was going up.

- The back door. - What are they saying?

The back door?

Aren't they saying that we should go in through the back door?

The back door?

- Yes. - Yes.

The back door.

Hey.

What is this? How did you...

We're not late yet.

The chief inspector isn't here yet, so we're safe.

Hello.

Hey!

The chief inspector is coming.

Everyone, bow to the chief inspector.

That man, Park Mun Su, won't do. You should kick him out immediately.

Saheonbu is a place with the brightest people in this kingdom.

How could someone like him become an inspector?

What would happen to our reputation?

Isn't Park Mun Su...

the man who barely made it through the civil service exam?

He isn't fit for our class.

I know that, but what can we do?

Because of the corruptions of the civil service exam,

he was appointed to be an inspector.

There might be trouble in Saheonbu if we keep him.

You must come up with a way to get rid of him somehow.

You seem to be more uncomfortable than me.

You're bothered because of me, right?

But that's too bad.

I'll keep hanging around here.

Getting used to me would make you feel much better.

Why don't you...

mind your own business and fix that frivolous tongue of yours?

This is Saheonbu.

And I'm your boss, an executive inspector.

(Executive Inspector: Saheonbu's Junior 3rd Rank)

The cause of Jeong Seok's death.

I will reveal that, Executive Inspector.

I just wanted you...

to keep that in mind.

We dare to put our lives on the line to say this!

The current Crown Prince...

does not deserve to be the next king!

Please hear our words!

- Please hear our words! - Please hear our words!

Please hear our words!

Those imbeciles.

The tide has changed long ago. Why are they still acting like that?

- Please hear our words! - Let's go.

- Please hear our words! - Please hear our words!

Nobody else came?

How could we be the only people here?

How could this happen?

My goodness. You've come so early.

- Hello, Prime Minister. Now... - Hello.

Chief Inspector. No, you're the new Minister of Personnel now.

But...

I feel so comfortable now...

since I don't have to see Min Jin Heon anymore here.

You should've become Minister of Personnel long ago.

Excuse me.

This isn't a time for such words.

Then what should we say now?

Where is the Crown Prince in this situation?

What have you been doing?

I'm sorry, Your Highness.

What about Cho Hong?

I mean, does Court Lady Heo also not know where the Crown Prince is?

Crown Prince Highness!

Crown Prince Highness!

Your Highness!

Crown Prince Highness!

What? Was he here all along?

Crown Prince Highness.

Yes, Cho Hong.

You can't be here like this. Right now...

My goodness. The Court Lady dress suits you well.

What is going on?

You speak well too.

This isn't a time for that.

- The streets are a mess... - I know.

It must be chaotic because of me.

Then how could you be like this?

Today is your...

What was that?

Gosh, I forgot that word.

"Morning lectures."

I have my first morning lecture as the Crown Prince today.

Yes, that's right. I was talking about that.

All officials in the palace would have gathered for that.

But what?

The Crown Prince is fooling around without any plans right here.

He must be out of his mind.

What?

Don't worry.

It's not that I don't have a plan.

I was coming up with a plan.

What are you talking about?

I'm sure nobody came.

I'm probably not the only one who is fooling around.

I'm sure that nobody will show up there.

I knew that Noron wouldn't come, but even the officials of Soron?

Everyone refused to attend the Crown Prince's...

first morning lecture?

My apologies, Your Majesty.

Fine. Let's say that we understand Noron since Min Jin Heon led them.

They wouldn't be able to accept the Crown Prince.

But why did Soron do that?

Shouldn't they follow His Majesty's will?

Your Highness.

(The Queen)

Don't you think that's their way in showing their loyalty?

What?

Is this how Soron shows their loyalty?

Do you think His Majesty wanted to appoint a Crown Prince?

Isn't it because of the pressure of not having a son?

Even you cornered him.

You're stepping out of line.

What did Soron do so wrong?

How could Soron not know...

how His Majesty feels if they've been by his side for so long?

How could they accept the current Crown Prince?

Queen Seonui,

that's disloyalty and blasphemy!

[VIU Ver] SBS E17 'Haechi' "The Strike of Man" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

Your Highness, I am sorry to tell you this, but...

Would you hand me that towel? I'm sweating.

What?

Here you go, Your Highness.

I've caught a slight cold because I had fun outside on a cold day.

This is why the palace is good.

You can do everything you want here.

Your Highness, this isn't...

My apologies, but are you aware of what happened today?

You have become the Crown Prince,

but your position in the palace is still unstable.

- So... - So what?

Did I ever ask you for advice on that matter?

What?

I didn't ask for you, but you came here...

to give me unwanted advice.

Of course.

You helped me in every way when I didn't even ask for it.

This is very like yourselves.

- Your Highness... - You're so hasty.

What are you saying?

I'm taking my shirt off now.

Will you be staying?

- Well... - Let's go.

Feel free to stay.

It'll be pretty interesting.

What an ungrateful fool.

Does he not know who made him Crown Prince?

Quiet down. He might hear us.

He doesn't even have any power.

Why is he disregarding us like that?

No one in this palace is on his side.

He's a baby oblivious to politics.

We have to teach him and take him with us.

Over here, is anyone there?

An official from the Ministry of Taxation was murdered?

It's a report by the police bureau.

Aristocrats were murdered in the Suna and Anguk areas.

Last night in the Yangdeok area as well.

Why are such terrible things happening continuously?

Vice Minister.

I'm...

(Cho Hyun Myung, Junior Second Rank, Soron)

I'm very uncomfortable about this.

We all being absent at the morning lecture today...

What about that?

Are you suggesting we acknowledge the Crown Prince?

No, but...

His Majesty entrusted the Crown Prince Palace to us.

But if we, as Soron, don't obey him...

That's enough.

He just couldn't say it out loud.

Do you think His Majesty wanted a Crown Prince?

Plus, Prince Yeoning is the son of a peasant.

That's right. How can we acknowledge...

a peasant's son, who was appointed prince by Noron?

Do you mean me?

Of course it's hard to acknowledge.

Crown Prince Highness.

Excuse me, I overheard you.

A murder case of an aristocrat.

You were talking of an important case and I barged in.

Please excuse me, Your Highness,

but what brings you here?

Bring it in.

Today was my first day for morning lectures.

I felt like I would be able to see you all here...

instead of the Prince School.

I'd like to greet you.

At first morning lectures,

it is proper to show respect to one's teacher and officials.

I'm here to show you respect.

Crown Prince Highness.

I'm saying this just in case, Your Highness.

The reason I can't acknowledge you...

is not because you're a peasant's son.

I don't know about the other officials...

but that's what I think.

It's in competence and not in blood.

That should be the prioritized for the kingdom's good.

"It's in competence and not in blood"?

That's a surprise.

Does that mean...

you will acknowledge me...

if I prove myself as king material?

If I prove my qualities as king to govern the nation?

"The Crown Prince cannot be involved in government."

"He shouldn't even talk about such matters as well."

"All such matters are the king's prerogative."

"So if the Crown Prince does,"

"that means he's reaching for the throne."

That's why I can't trust you.

Because you might...

reach for the throne.

That's what you mean.

I'm just an enemy of the Sorons.

So don't do anything.

Don't do anything,

but prove yourself as king material?

You're giving me an impossible task from the start, teacher.

- I apologize. - However,

if I were you,

I wouldn't consider myself just as an enemy.

I'm too dangerous for that.

And I might...

have some things in common with you.

Don't do anything.

But prove that I'm king material?

Right, I shouldn't make haste.

I should wait for the right time.

Your Highness, a custodian from Office of Maintenance is here.

How is it?

How is it working at Office of Maintenance?

It doesn't matter much to me.

As long as I can serve you.

All you ever wanted was to have overcooked rice.

Yes, all I want is to stick to you just like that.

How about Min Jin Heon and Yi Tan?

There's nothing special.

Min Jin Heon withdrew to Hanseongbu.

And Prince Mil Poong is staying low.

Neither of them...

would give up like this.

But what could they do right now?

I don't know.

That might be the same for them and me.

I have nothing to do in the palace anyway.

I should go outside and see how things are going.

Is there an excuse for that?

What do you want to do?

I want to meet someone who's in the same situation as me.

I want to know if that person is having a hard time like me.

If not,

I'll be jealous.

- 296! - 296!

- 298! - 298!

- 295! - 295!

- Come on! - Six.

- Not much left. - Let's go!

Eight!

Nine!

300!

No, Wait. Hold on.

- We're falling! - Watch your step.

Our new members are so cute.

Shall we move on to the next level?

There's another level?

Here.

You're so slow.

How will you cook carp stew for today's drinking snack?

It's 10 carps per person. Remember.

I was first place.

I did hear Saheonbu's training was really hard.

But I didn't know it'd be this hard.

I can't do this any longer.

- Let's stop here. - Let's stop.

No way. I'm going to keep going.

It was so hard to get in.

I'll never give up.

Hey, there's a carp over there.

A carp. A carp. Over there.

Are you okay?

These carps!

- Look, over here! - Will they manage to get out today?

They'll probably stay in there all day.

Some people had to stay in there for four days.

But seeing our master being a new member...

is really touching.

Right?

Right? You're proud too, right?

No, it's just unsightly.

Right? It's unsightly.

How is that maintaining order?

They're just having fun abusing their juniors.

That's how organizations are.

Are you the female inspector Cheon Yeo Ji?

I apologize, sir. I didn't know you were there.

What do you mean?

Oh, the hazing ritual.

Don't be bothered. I agree with you.

- What? - Not just the people...

but they're abusing the poor carps.

That's violence, too.

The poor carps?

It's not just the carps.

In the winter, it's better.

But in spring, they trample on the pretty flowers.

They must be in pain too.

Isn't that so?

Yes, that makes sense.

Anyway,

I heard you can speak Chinese. Is that true?

Yes, I can.

I speak fluent Japanese too.

Really?

What is it about?

Master.

Are you saying someone is buying poor peasants and slaves...

at a cheap price,

and illegally selling them over to the Qing Dynasty?

Yes.

It's a trustworthy source.

What? A case?

Everyone is deployed in a case?

Yes, Master.

There's illegal human trafficking.

They're after weak and young girls.

What? Young girls?

Darn it. That's horrible.

So they need Yeo Ji for undercover investigation.

Ah Bong and Jang Dal are joining too.

No, that can't happen.

- What? - What do you mean it can't happen?

You're not going to let...

the three of them work on this case if I don't let you in?

Of course.

I'm their superior, so they should follow my orders.

Let me join. If you don't, I won't let them work on the case.

What about your task as a new inspector?

- Tonight, you have to... - I'll just skip that.

I didn't come here to drink and entertain my superiors.

Listen to me.

Don't you know how important it is...

to obey your superiors at the Saheonbu?

Not only will it affect your promotion, but it...

My goodness.

- Are... Are you okay? - Gosh.

I'm sorry, sir.

I spent all day catching fish.

By the way, did you just hear that?

Even when I sneeze,

I say "Haechi" instead of "Achoo".

What?

I'm not scared...

of getting on the bad side of my superiors.

Because I'm a true inspector who says "Haechi"...

even when I sneeze.

(Episode 18 will air shortly.)

They should've left by now.

Why do they need a girl?

Here?

Crown Prince Highness.

What are you doing here?

Oh, that's...

I was passing by.

Anyway,

why are you here?

And this outfit...

Oh, the outfit?

It's...

Crown Prince Highness.

- Your Highness. - Your Highness.

Mun Su.

How long has it been?

Were you...

Big brother.

It's been a month and five days.

I really missed you, Your Highness.

My big brother.

Yes.

Hug me all you want.

Your Highness. My big brother.

An undercover investigation?

Human trafficking involving the Qing Dynasty?

Is that really happening?

Yes, the nation is in disorder due to the war...

and there was an epidemic.

People in hard situations are selling their children...

and they are...

being sold to the Qing Dynasty.

Yes.

The world right now...

is a place that gives a price to human beings.

But I had no idea people were being sold...

to the Qing Dynasty.

If there's an illegal trade going on by the Qing,

we will get them, Your Highness.

How can I help?

It might be dangerous with only you all as a team.

That's okay, Your Highness.

You're the one who's in danger.

Yes, you can't be involved in this.

However,

is this...

the only means?

Sorry?

What I'm saying is...

does Yeo Ji have to wear that kind of outfit?

Yeo Ji's outfit?

Oh, it does looks uncomfortable.

But Yeo Ji is the only one who can speak Chinese.

What? Uncomfortable?

I'm okay, Your Highness.

This is nothing.

- Are you okay? - Yes.

No, that's not what I'm saying.

Sorry?

Wait.

They don't understand what he's saying.

What is he saying?

Why is he bothered by her outfit?

No, that can't be.

No way. No.

What's the matter?

No.

I really don't think this is a good decision.

Let's find a different way...

in which she doesn't have to wear that outfit.

- What? - Why?

Yes.

That's right.

To spy on the Qing,

she should wear a Japanese outfit, not a Chinese one.

That's what you meant.

That's it.

Why would a Chinese talk about secret matters...

when another Chinese is listening?

That's why you said she can't wear a Chinese outfit.

A Japanese outfit would work better.

You're amazing.

How did you think of that?

That's what I'm saying.

I'm surprised that I...

came up with that as well.

Isn't it a bit weird?

Yeo Ji, you're...

Isn't it awkward?

Do I look Japanese?

Yes, very.

You even look like a woman.

- I do? - Yes.

Your Highness, is that true?

Your Highness.

Do I...

look like a woman?

Your Highness, are you listening?

Look at me. Your Highness?

Fine.

Of course you're a woman. You're not a man.

Take care of yourself. If you get hurt like last time...

Got that?

Sorry? Okay.

Mun Su, you too.

Take care of Yeo Ji.

- Darn it. - What?

Doesn't he...

look angry?

He does.

"Do I look like a woman"?

I mean...

how can she ask that?

Here.

Do I have to go back to the palace like this...

leaving them behind?

All...

by myself?

Brother!

You're here.

How is the girl you brought yesterday doing?

The doctor was here. She'll be okay.

Is that so?

Bom is taking care of her. Don't worry.

Bom is...

the female servant who was kicked out of the Prime Minister's house?

Yes, she was beaten and dying,

and we brought her in.

Good. Okay.

By the way,

why are you dressed like that?

Ta-da.

We're going to a new courtesan house in Nakseongbang.

To get some information.

Oh, that place?

I heard the owner is from the north.

Yes, he's a good businessman.

Not just aristocrats,

but people from Qing and Japan are gathering there.

We'll get some information.

Be cautious.

Don't cause unnecessary trouble.

Yes.

You're looking good.

I heard she was about to be sold to Qing.

Heaven must've helped her, as it helped me.

Since she's here now.

What's wrong with your leg?

I got beaten by my previous mistress...

I don't limp too badly though.

Cheon Yoon Young.

Was that...

your mistress?

- Again. - My lady.

I don't know why you're doing this.

She was the Prime Minister's concubine.

Now she's the only one...

on Prince Mil Poong's side.

Do you know...

my mistress?

How do you know her?

A murder at an aristocrat's house?

I'm suspicious about this.

Investigate this thoroughly.

I'll do my best, Your Majesty.

I thought...

at least you would help the Crown Prince.

My apologies, Your Majesty. However,

I'm sure that the Crown Prince has realized his place...

through the incident today.

Was that why you stood up to become his teacher?

To isolate the Crown Prince?

We can't trust the Crown Prince, Your Majesty.

The age gap between Your Majesty and the Crown Prince...

is only six years.

If the Crown Prince gets any wrong ideas...

Do you think he'll try to kill me?

Fine.

I don't trust him either.

There's no doubt that he's ambitious.

Even dead ambitions can be revived...

in the palace.

How do I know that?

That's what happened to me.

I'm saying that happened to me!

That's why I can't trust the Crown Prince's ambitions.

But he at least deserves a chance.

Shouldn't he at least get a chance?

(Saheonbu)

- An aristocrat was murdered? - Yes.

The police bureau is investigating it,

and they requested cooperation from Saheonbu.

About the hazing ceremony for the new inspectors...

You're going there too, right?

- The new courtesan house is... - Go ahead.

I have some documents to go over first.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

(Hanseongbu)

These are the documents you asked from Saheonbu.

You became the Head of Hanseongbu now.

(Head of Hanseongbu: Grade 2 officer of Hanseongbu)

Why did you want me to come here when I'm with Saheonbu?

"You were kicked out from the center of power."

"Why are you poking your nose into my business?"

Is that what you want to say?

I should go now.

You became arrogant indeed.

I'm an executive inspector.

You can't keep making me come and go as you please.

There are always people who think that nothing will change.

The tide is changing even in this moment.

I think I also know...

how to determine the change of tides.

If not, how could I have made it up to where I am now?

This case.

Aristocrats are being murdered.

I think this case will get me back into the government office.

Will you still think the same then?

What do you mean?

Did you know that I used to be chief inspector too?

I'm saying that I'm also fond of investigating cases.

Haven't you realized it even after seeing the records?

This isn't a simple crime.

This is an organized murder.

What a wrecked-up paradise.

Who will be the culprit among all these people?

- Master. - Master.

Master, why are you so late?

There. This is the new courtesan house.

Today, I'll treat you specially...

and let you have fun here.

We're having fun here!

- Okay. Let's go in. - Let's go in.

I'm sorry.

Wait just a moment there.

Were you calling me?

I haven't seen you before. Who are you?

I own this place.

How could I not know you?

My name is Asako.

I just arrived yesterday, so I haven't been able to meet you.

But how could a woman from Japan understand our language?

I learned the language to greet customers from Joseon.

Hey, you! You should serve the customers here.

Then I should go now.

She'll be useful since she's pretty.

Hey, Do Ji Gwang!

Do Ji Gwang!

Come here.

Look here. Look at this ledger.

Our courtesan house is very successful now.

Just as you said,

it was great to decorate this place like a paradise, right?

You seem so happy...

that you'll be able to sleep so comfortably.

Isn't that a given?

Thanks to you, I can lie down comfortably...

and sleep deeply. Okay?

Look at this idiot laughing.

Saying he's sleeping well.

What's wrong?

He's bothered because he lost something yesterday.

I thought it was something serious.

How could a man get upset to such petty things?

That's just something that could happen...

You jerk. Hey.

Do you know how my kid got ruined?

That's because he slept well after he lost what belongs to him.

He lost what belongs to him to someone else's kid...

and slept so comfortably.

I'll give you some advice, so listen carefully.

If you don't sense danger when it's right behind you,

you'll die with a dagger in your back.

That's how this industry works.

You get stabbed by imbeciles like those earlier.

[VIU Ver] SBS E18 'Haechi' "It’s Not the Qing!" -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

What happened to Gun Tae and the storyteller?

I think they got caught while they were spying. So...

Then...

they will certainly come to warn us.

Immediately call everyone...

What is going on?

Gun Tae.

You jerks.

Okay. Attack.

I think you should stop.

- Master. - Master!

I think...

my sword will pierce your throat before you pierce them.

Who are you?

Your clothes are too fancy at a beggar's den like this.

Shut it. Who are you to do this?

You should stop.

You shouldn't cause any trouble.

Okay. Since we know each other's faces now,

let's call it a day.

You're Dal Moon, right?

Do you like my gift?

Remember this.

If I see any of your guys in my area one more time,

you'll only be getting their heads back.

- Let's go. - Yes, sir.

Hey.

Dal Moon.

Gae Dol was with them.

They're animals.

They're completely mad.

Take them inside, and clean them up.

- Yes, sir. - Yes, sir.

Who was that?

He's the owner of the new courtesan house that recently opened.

- They went there to check... - Wait.

The new courtesan house...

where people from the Qing Dynasty and Japan also come and go?

How do you know that, Your Highness?

Your Highness!

You can't do this.

Yeo Ji and Mun Su are at Do Ji Gwang's courtesan house...

right now.

But you're looking for someone from the Qing Dynasty.

He has nothing to do with the case.

Even so, I can't let Mun Su and Yeo Ji...

stay at such a dangerous place.

Sir.

She has something to tell you.

It was him.

The man that came earlier was the one who sold people away.

It's okay.

Can you explain?

He's the guy that tried to sell me to the Qing Dynasty.

The guy who had a scar on his face.

I clearly remember him.

Your Highness!

You're very pretty.

How much will it cost to have fun with you all night?

I'm already pretty angry right now, so you'd better just go home.

What are you saying?

- Go home if you're drunk. - Master Mun Su.

Who are you to get involved?

Are you her Qing Ren or something?

I'm pretty sure you're asking me why I'm getting involved.

That's right, you punk.

I don't know what you're saying. But yes, that's what I am.

I'm her Qing Ren. Do you have a problem with that?

(Qing Ren: A word in Chinese which means "lover")

Get lost if you don't want to get beaten to a pulp.

What's the big deal about a gisaeng?

What a fool.

What? What did he just say?

What was that?

If I didn't come over, you would've beaten him to death.

I didn't want that to happen to him.

Do you even know what he said?

What? Qing Ren? What does that mean?

Forget it. Did you find anything?

Be quiet. Keep your voice down.

What about you?

Inspector Yoon told me...

that he heard this is where...

human traffickers meet and settle deals.

What if the information is wrong? It could be a trap.

Inspector Yoon heard it...

from an old friend who works as a border guard.

Who in the world are they?

I'm going to go to the bathroom.

Great.

- Go ahead. - You can't go to the bathroom!

- Keep drinking! - Go on.

Your Highness.

Let me go with you.

I also can't let you go in there all by yourself.

Then I want you to keep your eyes on the back door.

Be careful.

May I help you?

I'm sorry.

Your Highness.

What are you doing here?

What about Yeo Ji? Where is she right now?

What?

Four days later at Gwangnaru.

I'll give you 20 young girls.

It's not someone from the Qing Dynasty.

That's not whom you should be looking for.

What do you mean, Your Highness?

30 yang for 1 person. No, I can't give you a discount.

Make sure you bring me the money, okay?

He's the owner of the courtesan house.

What are you doing here?

What are you doing?

She was eavesdropping on your conversation.

Goodness, look who's here.

Aren't you the girl I saw earlier?

Gosh, where is she?

I'll try searching the back door.

If you find her, you need to run away first.

This is Do Ji Gwang's turf.

You won't be able to fight him.

Okay, you should also be careful.

I knew something was weird.

How could there be a girl I don't know?

Tell me. Who is it?

Who told you to do this?

Yeo Ji!

- Are you okay? - Master Mun Su.

Kill them. Kill them all!

Yeo Ji?

What are you doing?

You're... I saw you earlier.

Yeo Ji, no!

- Who are you? Tell me! - Let me go! I said, let me go!

Who are you?

(Murder the master)

"Murder the master"?

(Murder the master: An act of murdering one's master)

What does that mean? Why would you kill your master?

Just kill me!

You're a girl?

Hey, are you okay? Hey.

Is anyone there?

Is anyone there?

Hey.

Hey, wake up.

What...

is going on, Your Highness?

Be careful, Yeo Ji.

This is...

(Haechi)

Did you say "murder the master"?

Your Highness, you saw the culprit!

Unless you're the culprit.

We have to find the child first.

If we can't convict the Crown Prince,

I should take off this uniform.

You want the Crown Prince?

His own family died. He will brutally take revenge.

You should trust me if you want to do a setup.

The Highness will be the culprit.

This time, Your Highness have to trust us.

You have three days.

You have to prove your innocence...

and the truth of the matter of this incident.
