If you all can fight over this bead

If you all can fight over this bead

Vermilion Bird Country Second Generation Vermilion Bird Governor

why can't I?!

How arrogant

To think that I, the top expert of the Vermilion Bird country,

the second generation Vermilion Bird Governor,

can force you experts from other domains to work together to attack me

This life of mine has been worth it then

Hand over the Heaven Defying Bead and we will spare your life

And what if I refuse to hand it over?!

We will take your life

Death Finger

The world changes with time

The Heaven Defying Bead!

Destiny turns

Mortals follow the times

Immortals defy the times

The radiance from the window pierces through the night

The journey down the immortal path is long

The eight bends and nine turns of the mountain are already desolate

Living beings question the miseries of the secular world over a pot of wine

Write about Nirvana and rebirth

I will break through the azure waves with my flesh

Heaven is vast and mighty, so what if I was born ordinary?

When will the principles of indifference turn violent?

A storm rages at the depths of the precipice

Spend your thoughts on life and death in your dreams

Unsheathe the sword, question the immortal stars

The secular world undergoes many changes

Nature and the universe will bestow us with poignant truths

Seize the world, swallow everything under the sky

Experience all the vicissitudes of life in an instant

I defy the light, soaring into the sky

Continue to write new chapters for all beings of the three worlds

Mortality and immortal cultivation are only separated by a will

Shed this insignificant body to become radiant

The sands from the sea transcend the furthest reaches

The young heart is tempered by trials and hardships

I defiantly became an immortal, why would I hesitate to fight Heaven?

all paid deposits for this batch of wood carvings of immortals

in order to be ready for the Immortal Assembly in three days time

This is a grand occasion held once every three years

It will influence the protection the immortals provide for our Zhao country

These figures must have

outstanding form and spirit

You people again

Second Brother, have you prepared the interest for this month?

Look over there

What lousy items

This is more like it

We will repay what we owe you all

This is for my son Tie Zhu's travel expenses when he goes for his exams

Don't talk nonsense! Out of my way!

It is our family's lifeblood

You cannot do this

Damn you

Every injustice has its perpetrator, every debt has its debtor

You can't even repay your debt from the clan

What prospects are there to speak of?

We will give you anything you want

but this is for our child's prospects

I am begging you all!

Father, Mother

Stand up

You can't do anything for my prospects by kneeling

Tie Zhu understands this best

You all better be prepared when I come next month

Let's go

Why does the Wang clan

have so little tolerance for me, the second son of a concubine?

Every injustice has its perpetrator, every debt has its debtor

Well said

But who do I go to for this injustice done to me

and to seek recompense for this debt owed to me?

Tie Zhu

I am afraid you won't be able to go

for the prefecture exam next year

We have let you down

We'll just take another year to prepare for it

It's not an issue

Fourth Brother, why did you come? Come, Second Brother, please sit

No matter how fast I rush over here

I'm always a step too late

These people have gotten increasingly out of line

I rushed over here this time

for an important matter

The Heng Mountain Sect is the Zhao country's

top immortal cultivation sect

They are now recruiting disciples

Our Wang clan was given

three spots for the trial this time

It wasn't easy for me

to obtain an opportunity for Tie Zhu to join the trial

As long as Tie Zhu joins an immortal sect

we'll see if those thugs still dare to bully you all

Immortal cultivation is very good of course

But I heard that the dangers encountered in immortal cultivation

are something people like us could never imagine

My wife and I will make more wood carvings this year

to prepare for him to attend the exams next year

As for those debts

even if it takes me ten or 20 years to repay them

I accept it

Father

Mother

All these years, I've not dared to slacken in any way

Our family still has so many misfortunes

I don't want other people to bully you all anymore

neither do I want you all to suffer like this

I've made up my mind

Since life isn't easy

I might as well do my utmost and give this a shot

A mortal's fate isn't determined by Heaven

Tie Zhu

Second Brother, Second Sister-in-Law

Just let Tie Zhu try it

Father, Mother

Fourth Uncle

I'll definitely live up to your expectations

Since I've chosen the most difficult path

I'll definitely do my utmost!

Back then, when we were driven out of the mansion

I never expected to return one day

Tie Zhu

In a while, be sure not to take the sarcastic remarks

of those people to heart

Persevere with the utmost sincerity

Persevere with the utmost sincerity

Persevere with the utmost sincerity

I want to cultivate immortality!

What's this?

The end point is so close

Why do you reject me?!

The time is up

Child, you have a tenacious heart

but it cannot contend with the ruthlessness of the Great Way

It is futile

It is simply futile

This is great

This day has finally come

I've resigned myself to the endless years along the way just to see your silhouette

Who came to this conclusion from reversing the compass?

The Heavens have erased your thread of thoughts

It was obsession that guided me

I've seen through the insubstantial fantasies along the way past the confusion over what's real or fake

If you are in murkiness with no aspirations how can you differentiate right from wrong?

Watch all beings go with the flow

Watch all beings drown

I refuse to believe that fate is determined by someone

Let the world temper my soul

So what if I want to become an immortal and defy Heaven? Go fight

Comprehend the highest realm during desperate circumstances

Only today do I realize that I am who I am

My entire body is covered with blood from the slaughter Carrying a lifetime's worth of obsessions

I don't look back at how bleak my surroundings are

Even if suffering smashes my soul

Even if I'm reborn several times in hell I'll continue to fight

When standing at an elevated position

it is difficult to escape loneliness

Why would a moth that has seen the Vermilion Bird be afraid of the light of a firefly?
