Farming's been in my blood
for God knows how many years.

who loves it just as much as you do,

Our farmers began
their epic adventure,

stepping out
of their comfort zone...

were really low

was that moment for you?

The final decision
was one of the most difficult things

I've ever done.

I feel like the responsibilities
of the farm

means that I wouldn't be
able to do the adventuring

that I still know
that you will need and want.

I really had to reflect on

everything that I said I wanted
from the beginning of all this,

and Sarah was that person for me.

I like that you can ground me
when I get my head up in the clouds.

And I also like that
you challenge me.

I do see myself falling for you.

Early on with returning to the farm,

You know, our expectation
was that we'd come out

and it'd be like
this big honeymoon period

and everything would be
just really great.

But instead of a hype,

We've quickly realised

that we weren't in a relationship

that had been going for two months.

I've just done everything by myself.

We're both really independent
and we like our own space

and we have our own life.

And it was really important
coming out of this to step away

and decompress as an individual.

Yeah, at that point in my life,

to take a step back

and the farm was going
to take priority

at that point for me.

So, yeah, unfortunately,

that's sometimes
the... the cards you're dealt

and that's what you've got to do.

So, you knew your commitment
wasn't there.

The ladies on my farm
were wonderful,

would never have anything bad
to say about them.

But towards the end there,
any minute the camera's not rolling,

I was straight back in the tractor.

Working and, you know, sleeping
very minimal amounts of time

will... will take
its toll eventually.

It doesn't matter who you are,
so, it took a little bit to realise

and some advice from some family
and friends for me

to, you know, pull my head in

and sort of realise,
yeah, you gotta...

You gotta take a step back
from one or the other.

Another one of the key factors
for my choice was that,

you know, I was about to,

you know, potentially go and meet
these wonderful ladies' parents.

And I don't think that,
you know, as a man,

that I could have stood there
in front of, you know,

anyone's father and shook his hand
and said, "You know, 'I'm that guy.

"I'm the man that's ready
to give my all to your daughters."

Well, I think that's quite
an honourable thing to do.

How hard was it saying goodbye?

It was a pretty brutal night.

One of the hardest
of my life for sure.

I don't think that,

you know, I can really keep going
in this experience.

You know, you deserve
somebody that is ready

to really give you everything,
because that is what you deserve.

At this point, the experience
is going to end for us.

How are you going now?

Who knows
what the future holds, you know?

My heart's open and, you know,

back to the farm

Felt a connection there,

and I just thought I'd go
