Over there!

Where'd he go?The strings

disappeared. Keep going. Let's drive

further up.

What are you doing?

A woman. A blind one.

Have you seen an old man?I'm looking for

a prisoner. I know he was headed this

way. Hurry up and tell us. Ride.

If you know and don't tell us, we won't

let you get away. And if I

know?

So many men after one person.

No human being with a heart could stand

it. I'm no exception.

You don't like it?Come on and

try me.

Get her!

Over there!

Get her!

Get her!

Very nice. Uncle Hon,

you should take a bath. Not now,

thank you. Come on now.

It's been hot today. Come on.

Here, a towel. Miss

Elaine. I don't feel hot.

Uncle Hon, you missed still.

You saw it?Say

it. Have you seen it?

Uncle Hon, what do you think I saw?I'm

blind.

Ah I'm sorry. I

wish I could see. How beautiful.

Miss Elaine, I don't

understand. Why did you save me?

How old are you?I tell you,

I'm fifty-five years old.

Had Uncle Louie lived, he

would be 55.

But I'll never see him again.

When I was seven, my mum dumped me.

He cared for me.

Elaine, can we go?

Come on.

This isn't a good area. Let me carry

you.

Uncle Louie. Is the bride pretty?

Of course she's pretty. Her clothes are

even prettier. Really.

If only I could see. If you ever want to

get married, I'll make you prettier than

her. I don't want to.

Why not?Every young girl should get

married. Who'd want a blind wife?

Lots of boys would like you. Brother!

HuhLong time no see. Not easy to

find you. Uncle Louie! Don't

be afraid.

You're looking for me?I need to

talk. Meet me later. All

right.

Go ahead.

Uncle Louie.

Uncle Louie, where are you?Hmm

How come I feel so strange?

Elaine!

There is one thing that I've kept fromyou

about your mother.

When you were little, your mom ran

away with a man. With a man.

This man was very handsome.

Your mum was attracted to him and

deserted you.

They live in Sun Lung Town. Sun

Lung Town. Yes,

someone saw them there.

If you want to see her, go to Sun

Lung.

Sun Lung Town,

Father.

You know, I've been looking for you for

years. I don't want to get

involved in the underworld. You think

I'll let you go just like that?

So, Joe, you mean you haven't done enough

to us, you bastard

Get him now. Hmm

Uncle

Luney! Uncle

Luney!

Uncle Louie!

Uncle Louie!

Uncle Louie! Where are you?

Uncle Louie!

Uncle Louie. Uncle Louie.

Uncle Louie. Uncle Louie.

Uncle. Is Uncle Louie your close relative?

I have no family. Uncle

Louie brought me up. He didn't

like to socialize. He was strange.

But he treated me like his own daughter.

Could he be the one Louis Sin,

who hid out for years?Uncle Han.

You mean you know him?

Manager. Have you seen old man here?Oh,

man. When the young go together. That's

right. Oh, no. They're

coming.

They must be here to get you. We mustn't

get caught. Hurry and

go. Quick, quick.

Miss Elaine. Thank you. Thank you.

God damn it. The same woman.

Come on.

Lucky to get away with it this time. This

time.

Mistress, I'm back.

Exhausted. Caught the old man.

I'm sorry. He got away.

What?Got away.

Don't worry. I'll catch him tomorrow.

You must be tired. Buy some wine.

What?That young woman is blind?A

blind woman who knows Kung Fu. Hey, even

she couldn't see. Her Kung Fu was

excellent. Now we've only got three men

left. Hey, even with so many of us,

we still couldn't beat her. Especially a

hurricane of sort. Oh, for heaven's sake,

it was fascinating. She's got such good

kung fu and a pretty face.

Yeah, it was really

strange. To kill her would be a stupid

waste.

Uncle Louie, it's so unfair.

Why did you die?Why so unlucky?

Uncle Louie. Who

killed you?

Tell me and I'll find him.

Everyone makes fun of me being blind.

But you never laughed at me.

Uncle Louie, you treated me like your own

daughter.

Now that you've left me, who's going to

take care of me?

Tell me who killed you. Please tell

me. I have

to avenge you.

Hey you.

I know that voice, as I remember it must

be him. Did you kill

Uncle Louie?

Louie seemed really deserved to die

painfully. So do

you! Kill her

now!

This young girl is blind.

What does that matter to you?

I must

have seen.

Ohh

So many men to kill a blind girl. Are you

a man or what?What's that?

You want to fight with me?

Are you all right? But you killed Apple

Louie. Miss, you don't understand. I

didn't kill your Aunt Louie. I didn't

want you to get hurt. Don't take itwrong.

This girl handles her sword pretty well,

but by herself she can't deal with this

gang for her own protection. I ought to

teach her more for her future use.

Why can't you be careful?

All these days haven't been wasted.

Elaine tried very hard to practice. She's

improved a lot. I feel so proud.

Elaine. Master.

Very good. Really excellent.

This is your Uncle Louise Urhu. Right

now I can make sure you can have it.

I hope you'll be able to take good care

of it. Thank you, Master.

I'll always carry it with me. Be very

careful. Don't misuse it, or else

you'll get yourself killed.

Forget about revenge,

Master.

Elaine, lead an ordinary life.

Meet a good nice boy

and marry him.

Who'd want to marry a blind girl like me?

Elaine, even if you can't

see, you know,

you are pretty.

Master, am I...?How can I

lie to you?

Really?

I beg you one thing. Let

me stay with you. I want to be with

you. Promise me.

All right. You promised.

Let me get some wine.

Elaine.

She looks so happy. I don't want her to

feel sad. I'd better

leave now. Ohh

Look at her. She looks pretty cute, ehThat

girl is pretty cute. Look at her.

Come on!Come over here. Let me hug you.

Huh

How dare you!

You want to fight with me?

You!

Faster! Faster!

Hey, what happened?

Ah, you scared me.

Hey, put the light on. You're

inside the house. Put the light on.

I see. You're blind. No matter how

bright, you still can't see.

Hey, what happened to that man?

Oh, I know. He deserted

you. He

must have taken advantage of you because

of your blindness. Don't

think too much. Blind, mind your

business! What are you yelling for?I'm

trying to help.

Connor.

Hurry up,

Master. What happened,

Johnny?I am

dying.

Master, who did this to you?I must

avenge you. Han

Lo, Lui Sin,

San Joe. Those three.

Han Lo, Lu Shin,

San Joel.

They. Kill people everywhere.

If I die, you must

kill them. Ah

Faster.

Hey, how's Fung's plan coming along?

Don't worry, I'll take care of it.

50 silver blocks for a girl. There's no

deal better.

You're very capable.

Why are you laughing?I'm

laughing at you. Why?

Back there you gave up everything for me.

Wasn't that the best deal ever, huh

Marry, just trouble.

Aren't you satisfied? Now you can have

anything that you want.

Oh, right, your reflective glory. How is

that?Ohh

God damn why is it raining so hard today?

What?Are you mad?

It's pouring outside.

We're alone. Come, drink

this.

I know your dad has been ill long, but I

am no missionary. Today,

if you still can't pay me, remember what

I said. Just give me your

daughter, OK?

You can have your house back.

Oh, please. That's right.

OK.

Yes, that is right.

When you get there, you'll be

fine. There are many young girls there.

I treat them like my own daughters.

Much better than you now.

Wait till you pay up all your dad's

debts. I will free you. Huh

That's the agreement. Tomorrow I

come. By then, be

ready. Go.

Right.

Am I inside?

What do you want?Miss, I'd like to have

some water.

Miss, please show me the water.

Sue Anne, take him to the backyard. Give

him some water. Your name is Sue

Anne?

Very good. What a beautiful name.

Uh Who was

that woman?

Is she a matchmaker?Swan, young

girls don't talk to old men. Excuse

me, sir.

Miss, your dad is calling.

Better hurry. So Anne, come on in. Can't

you hear?Get your mother's medicine.

Thank you.

Wait a second! Please wait for a

second! Sueann!

Sueann! Sueann!

Sueann!

Sueann! You better tell me. Where are you

going? What are you doing?Where are they

taking you?

Hey!

Old man, are you

related to Sue Ann?

No. In that case,

you come here to make trouble? No.

You tired of living, old man?

You get lost.

ohh

Suanne.

Sue Ann.

You won't come over here. Huh

She's new here. Her name is Sue Ann.

From now on, take good care of her.

What are you standing here for? Can't you

speak?Call them

sisters.

This girl seems to have a pretty face.

Pretty good face. My God,

to make her obey us is different.

If she refuses to see our guests, then

you should lock her up in the

storage room.

Lock her up?It's wrong. Hmm

Don't worry about that. You should

lock her up first.

OK.

HmmSomething to tell you. Today we met

someone very strange. Someone

strange?

On our trip back, we saw an

old man. He saw Sue Ann, started

acting crazy. I think there's something

up. Umm

I always heard. Many poor

families send their own daughters to Yan

Fa Lo. You talk about

Sue Ann. Why do you care so much about

her?Uncle

Han, what is it all about?

This is a long, long story.

It started 20 years ago.

One criminal man carrying a baby

hurried to this town and put down the

little baby at someone's

door. Closed his

hands to pray for the

child and he left.

Do you mean Sue Ann was not born to this

family?But after 20

years, even if they saw each other,

they wouldn't know each other.

Uncle Han, let's say

I were the girl Sue Ann. I would

prefer not to find out that I was an

adopted child. Why not?

You see, that criminal old man.

Left the child at someone's door. Day in,

day out, that family took good care of

her. This is a big task.

Furthermore, she and her folks have been

together all these years. They're like

real family. So

why make Sue Ann know anything about her

natural father?It's

senseless.

Right. You're right. You're

so right. Sue

Ann did not know her past.

There's no sense in letting her find out.

She still has a blood father. I mean,

that father is actually me.

But you got to know.

I can't watch my own flesh and blood

being sold to the whorehouse

to put up with that inhuman life.

Do you know?It really breaks my

heart. I know.

Sue Ann is actually your daughter.

Don't worry.

I'll solve this.

Go back down. Come

on.

Take it.

Hey.

Everyone, this is the all-time winner.

Had many fights, never lost one. This

other one is called General Under. It's

the first time he's ever had a fight.

Maybe. He can defeat the all time

champion. All right, everybody

place your bets now.

All right, let's start the fight.

Hold it.

I haven't placed my bench. Ridiculous. A

blind woman can't gamble. So what?

Who says blind people can't gamble?Let me

show you that we can gamble.

This is my bet for the all time winner.

Good. Start now.

Come on!

Excuse me, miss, I think you better hurry

up and leave. Not

your business. For your own

good.

The fact is, you all lost.

All this money is mine. Wait one moment.

HmmYou tried to cheat

us. What do you mean by that?

Want trouble?Want me to show you the

evidence?

What's

that straight?

Take a good look.

Now, what do you have to

say?

Mistress, all this money is mine now.

Where'd you go?I don't know. That's

strange. I've searched everywhere. Let's

search again. Right, you go that way.

Come on.

Uncle Han!

Uncle Han!

Uncle Han!

Uncle Han,

you two are here for money or you get

killed. Shut up.

Don't brag. I warn you not to make

trouble. We can't lose face.

We must take the money back.

We'll kill you.

You're not my match.

Bam, won't exceed.

Elaine, why didn't

you listen to me?

Master,

tell me why you left.

Where did you go to?You know,

I'm a loner, a wanderer.

I heard your mouth's around.

Of course she left me with a

man. If not, I could still see.

Little girl, don't be afraid. I

won't hurt you.

Do you know where Miss Sue Ann is?She

is the newest girl here.

Please tell me. Sue Ann,

where is she? She's She's in the

storage room. HuhWhat do you mean?

Storage room?Uh-huhSue

Anne, she's in the storage room?

Swan. Swan.

Swan.

My good baby.

I've been waiting for you.

What?

It's you.

You son of a bitchYou killed Brother

Louie, right?Put me in jail for

20 years.

Why did you do that?If I don't get

rid of you, I

will have to shitEverything

with you.

I searched hard for you. Hmm

Now you come to me.

Wait.

Hold it. Let me see my su-an.

You can kill me later. She's your

daughter?HuhMy daughter?

Huh

You mean... you have killed my only

daughter?

HmmSue-ann. Sue-ann.

Sue Ann,

you had a hard life.

Sue Ann, child,

look at me. Look at me.

You see, I am your real daddy.

Baby, it's your dad's fault.

My fault. I have made them kill

you.

Poor baby.

No. Now?

Yes.

Please forgive me.

You're here to see me. What's wrong?Are

you the mistress?

What?Aren't you the

blind girl?Strange.

I didn't ask you to massage. I didn't

come to massage. Not for

massage.

Why are you here?

Here

What do you mean?Tell me,

do you have a girl named Sue Ann here?

I'd like to get her out. Huh

How can you just do that?

This is the money her father owes you.

Moreover, there are 20 more blocks. Say

the interest that he owes you.

Altogether, 70 silver blocks. Please take

them.

Wang Fung owes me money.

So his daughter stays here with me. But

who do you think you are to help him?

He owes me 50 blocks. Normally

you'd offer me 70 blocks.

But it's not so simple.

You should know what kind of a lucrative

business I'm in.

Gambling and whorehousesPretty

girl like her. Just need to touch her up

a bit.

This amount of money. I can gain it back

in one day.

Mistress. Debt is debt. Why

make more trouble?

Mistress Sue Ann's mother is ill.

She must take care of her.

Please do us a big favour and send her

home.

Mistress people have hearts. Please pity

her. Pity her. I beg you, set

her free. It will bring you some good

luck. I've only got this

much money. Please promise to set her

free. There's no way.

I know this money's nothing to you. If

it's not enough, in three days I can

definitely get more.

Mistress, what else do you want from me?

Tell me.

You're a really strange person.

How is that girl related to you?Why do

you come here and beg for her?For what

reason?Mistress,

I if I told you the

truth, you may not release her.

I don't buy that.

Would you get out?Mistress. Mistress.

Leave me alone. Wait.

Listen to me.

there was a man in prison.

He left his baby at someone's door,

hoping that they would take care of her.

He wandered around for 20 years

every day.

He missed his daughter until one night,

bravely. He risked his

life to escape. First thing he did

was to look for his daughter.

He saw her, had no courage to meet

her. Can't you imagine it?

How would he feel without a family?

If you were human, you would feel for

him. Do

you agree?He thought she

had a good life.

He didn't know. Her

parents would sell her to a

whorehouseThat

child is Miss Sue Ann. He learned about

his daughter's fate, but he had no power

to help her. His poor

heart was broken. Please.

Don't you have any feeling for him?

His fate.

I feel sympathetic.

I still can't promise you.

Sorry. Please go away.

Mistress.

Forgive me for being rude.

Please forgive me. I am like Sue

Ann. Deserted by my mom.

But

Sue Ann's father looked for her.

My mom didn't give a damn. I

remember I was seven when my

mom dumped me.

More than 10 years now. I want to

reunite Sue Ann with her father.

Mistress. Don't you have any

children?

And you?Your your

name?

Elaine.

Ever since my mam ran

away, all this

time I'm alone.

Then where are you from?

Antong Flower Village. Help!

Help Mommy, where are you?

Help!

Mom! Mommy, come! Mommy!

Mom! Mom! Hurry! Hurry!

Mommy!

Ever since then, I couldn't see.

Mistress! Mistress!

Mistress, there are dead people in the

storage room.

What?

Mistress. What's going on here?

Someone

has died. By your side is an old man.

Old man. Must be

Uncle Hong.

Uncle,

Uncle Han,

I came too late. It

took me too long to get the money.

I hoped you two could get together and

have a peaceful life. I didn't

know you'd get killed.

Mistress, who killed

them? You must know who killed them.

Mistress, tell me

now who did it. I have to look for this

murderer. Tell

me who is he?

You better tell me. If

you don't say, I'll get you.

He was a good-hearted old man. He risked

his life to look for his daughter.

Better than my mum. My

mum just dumped me. She's a beast.

I remember when she was young.

She was very pretty.

Sometimes.

Sometimes I miss her. This is why I help

Uncle Han look for his daughter.

God knows. God knows.

They got killed in cold blood.

Who is the murderer?Tell me!

Believe me. If you don't tell me, you'll

be very sorry. I tell you, I

think it must be my husband's deed.

What?Your husband did it?

I know now. It's a

conspiracy. She didn't obey and you

killed her. Then you killed Uncle Han,

right?Yes.

Now my turn to kill you. Elaine.

Faster. I

know who's killed those two. Who?

Master, tell me. That man is an evil

person. Not only did he

kill your Uncle Han and his daughter

Suan, but he also

killed your Uncle Louis. Now I

remember. No wonder he sounded

familiar. In the forest, the one who

killed Uncle Louie was him. And he's the

enemy you're looking for. Son Joel.

Son Joel.

Twenty years ago, there were three

criminals. Son Joel was too greedy.

He betrayed them. Who

were the other two?Lucian escaped.

He hid out in a small village. Han

was jailed. I looked all over for them to

avenge my master. I knew San

Joel wouldn't let them escape. That was

perfect for me. I don't need to kill the

other two. My enemy is San

Joel. And where is he

now?Why do you ask?I want to

kill him. He doesn't deserve to live. You

kill him?Yes. Let me go.

All right. Follow me.

Elaine. My baby.

Hey!

Hey

Elaine! Elaine!

Elaine. Elaine.

Are you all right?

Elaine.

Elaine. Elaine. Hi, baby.

Baby...

You, would you forgive me?I'm

sorry.

I don't deserve to see you.

It is all my fault, my mistake.

Why did I leave you and make you blind?

Forgive me. It can't be.

How can you be my mom?

My mother is not evil.

Elaine, even though she didn't take

care of you like her mother should have,

still she saved you with her own life.

That should redeem her as your mother.

Elaine, you

can you call me?

Can you call me mum?

Or else when I die, I feel so

discontented.

Oh, please, baby.

Mum, why didn't you tell me earlier?

If I had known, things wouldn't have

turned out so badly. I've

missed you, baby. I

always wanted to meet you. These ten

years, I've missed you every

day.

We'll go back to our village.

From now on, I can take care of you.

We'll be together.

Master, take care of yourself.

I'm going home with my mother.
