Stop crying!

How did that masked man bully you?

He came in and pointed his fan at us

And then?

Then...

He tried to get near us

Luckily, Miss Cheng threw a stool at him

And we managed to escape

Stop crying, continue with your story...

He became very angry Then he took out a snake

and threw it at Miss Cheng He left after that

Who do you think is responsible?

Need you still ask?

Do you remember what the snake looked like?

- lt's him again? - Who?

Ouyang Ke, is it really him?

You have to investigate

How can you be certain that it's Ouyang Ke just because of a snake?

You can buy this type of snake anywhere on the streets

What do you know?

These snakes look like ordinary snakes

But they're snakes from White Camel Mountain that are fed a poisonous scorpion every day

lt looks like any other snake

which makes it impossible to guard against

Then the young mistress is doomed

We have no feud with him Why would he want to hurt us?

lt must be because Ouyang Ke failed to take advantage of Yaojia the last time

So he's giving it another try

She's been poisoned. Can she be saved?

Besides the original antidote from White Camel Mountain

only the Nine Flower Jade Pill from Peach Blossom lsland can save her

lt's just a pity that these 2 places are infamous for being rotten

ls there a cure?

- ls there really no cure? - l can't think of anything at the moment

Then... What should we do now?

Lu Chengfeng was one of the disciples of the Master of Peach Blossom lsland

Would he have the Nine Flower Jade Pill?

The Quanzhen Sect is at odds with Peach Blossom lsland. l will never beg him

But my daughter is seriously ill Without the antidote, she'll die

Yes, our family is small and we have to depend on her for our descendants

Don't be a busybody

l'd rather go to White Camel Mountain than to go and beg that old scoundrel

White Camel Mountain?

lt's already very difficult to deal with Ouyang Ke, if Ouyang Feng is around too...

l'm afraid...

Though Ouyang Feng is unorthodox but he's still rather well-known

And he is indeed in the wrong this time

l think that he'll hand over the antidote to prevent any public outrage

What if he refuses to?

l'll go with Brother Qiu Chuji

lf he really refuses l'll have to take on his Toad Skill

and see if it's really as powerful as people say it is

Alright, l'll help you pack

Old Master Cheng, take good care of Yaojia l'll leave first thing in the morning

Alright

Don't wander around the poison might spread to your heart

Miss Huang

Has my teacher agreed to go and beg the Lu family?

Your teacher is as stubborn as a mule

She'd rather go to White Camel Mountain to beg Ouyang Feng than to go beg the Lu family

Why didn't you try to stop her?

Let her go if she wants to

This is terrible. l've implicated my teacher

Why is that?

lf they start to fight

aand my teacher gets injure

how can l have peace of mind?

Don't worry. They won't fight

When they get to White Camel Mountain and see that cripple, they'll know it wasn't him

Actually, it'd be better if your teacher wasn't here to interfere

lt looks like

Father is just waiting for teacher to go retrieve the antidote

He isn't planning to go beg the Lu family

Don't worry, l've got a plan

- What plan? - Sit down and l'll tell you

lt's very simple, but it'll be hard on you

- What's this? - Smell it and you'll know

Master, something terrible has happened The young mistress has fainted

Fainted?

Yaojia, answer me

Master, l'll go get a doctor

How can an ordinary doctor treat this kind of poison?

But... How can we just watch her die?

She's doomed

lf we don't think of a way she'll really lose her life

Stop babbling you're making me really vexed

Didn't you say that...

Lu Chengfeng of the Cloud Manor has the Nine Flower Jade Pill? l'll go look for him

Wait, that Lu Chengfeng is an eccentric and proud man

Why would he agree to see you?

But he might agree to see me

l'm sorry, my brother doesn't wish to see you

Please help me pass the message again

l've already informed him of your intentions

The Nine Flower Jade Pill is there

l'll never forget your kindness towards my daughter

But before you take the Nine Flower Jade Pill, you have to agree to 2 things

What are they?

Firstly

From today onwards, the Cheng family must have nothing to do with Quanzhen Sect

- What's the second thing? - Secondly

The Cheng family insulted Peach Blossom lsland. lt's an insult to his teacher

You must kneel in the direction of Peach Blossom lsland and kowtow 9 times

Go away, you're not allowed in here without the master's permission

- Move aside - What's going on?

Ouyang Ke, you're here just in time

What brings the both of you here?

Ouyang Ke, you're such a troublemaker

- What do you mean by that? - Stop pretending

You tried to take advantage of Yaojia and set a poisonous snake on her

- Didn't you do that? - That's a load of rubbish!

l have to tend to my own injuries lf there's nothing else, please leave

Running away?

You...

l'll be honest with you. A few days ago l was bitten by a snake while feeding it

l've been tending to my injuries the past few days. l've not left White Camel Mountain

He doesn't look like he's lying to us

l don't have to lie to you

l may conceal information about other matters

But l've never covered up any of my amorous liaisons

- lt's true - ls there something else going on?

lf there's nothing else, please leave

My uncle has gone to gather herbs and he'll be back soon

He doesn't have a good temper

Let's go

- Brother Lu - Senior Lu

Father

What is it?

Tell your father, go on

Why are you such a coward?

Brother Jing, you tell him

Sir, after eating the Nine Flower Jade Pill Miss Cheng's poison has been treated

She can now walk around again

What's so strange? The Nine Flower Jade Pill can treat poisons of White Camel Mountain

Or else, that old scoundrel Cheng wouldn't come and beg me for it

Sir, that's not what Brother Lu wants to say. He's thinking of...

Come straight to the point

Brother Lu

Your son wants to marry Miss Cheng

Guanying, there're so many nice girls in the world. Why must you fall in love with her?

Father

Old Master Lu, haven't you buried the hatchet with the Cheng family?

The Cheng family isn't worthy of becoming our in-laws

Brother Lu, why are you so against this marriage?

l think you're just concerned about your own pride

Guanying said you ordered that both families mustn't have anything to do with each other

Are you opposing their marriage just because of what you said before?

Old Master Lu, are you going to ruin your son's happiness

just because of your own pride and something that you said?

Father

l can forget about my pride

But the Cheng family has relations with Quanzhen Sect

And they've insulted my teacher

lf we become in-laws, wouldn't it be a sign of disrespect towards my teacher?

But don't forget, my father hates people who are pedantic

He'll be even unhappier if he knew that you're against this marriage

l can guarantee you that my father won't object to it. l know his character the best

The Cheng family might not agree

You can't be compared to Old Master Cheng

Now that Miss Cheng is alright he's agreeable to anything

Since the Cheng family has already agreed l have nothing to say

Guanying, you...

You should start preparing for the wedding

Thank you, father

Brother Guo, Miss Huang, thank you so much

lt was nothing

Rong-er, it's not done yet

You said you could guarantee that your father would approve

Of course l had to say that Why are you so honest?

Both of you are back

Old Master Cheng who's getting married today?

You're back just in time

to attend the wedding banquet of Yaojia and Guanying

Old Master Cheng, why did you agree to let Yaojia marry that Lu fellow?

The Lu family has agreed to bury the hatchet and they even gave Yaojia the medicine

So l decided not to oppose this marriage

We should just let bygones be bygones

Why would the Lu family be so nice as to give Yaojia the medicine?

We must have been tricked

This marriage mustn't take place

Father

You used methods of deception to trick my daughter into marrying into your family

To think that you claim to be the leader of Lake Tai, you crippled scoundrel!

You...

- You demoness! - Stupid taoist, don't insult others

Who is she?

She's Huang Rong the daughter of the Old Heretic

They're all in it together

Now l know, you were lying when you said you had to sell yourself to bury your husband

Yes, l planned it all, so what?

Don't put all the blame on her l dressed up as Ouyang Ke

Jing, you've been led astray by this demoness

Who are you to him? lf you want to lecture a son, you should father one yourself

Demoness, take this!

- Send me back - Alright

- Father - Let's go back

Old scoundrel, are you thinking of running away?

Father

Have you no shame at all?

How dare you conspire with outsiders to deceive your own father?

You're shameless

- Yaojia - Guanying

Yaojia...

- Guanying - Yaojia

Guanying

- Yaojia - Guanying

- Yaojia - Guanying...

- Hold on tight, Yaojia - Yaojia

Yaojia

Stop fighting

Stop fighting

Brother, what happened?

- Where did Yaojia go? - What's going on?

Miss Cheng...

has fallen into the deep valley

Yaojia fell into the deep valley?

Why...

Did anyone go down to look for her?

The valley is a thousand 'zhang' deep it looks bottomless. l think...

Yaojia

Are you happy now?

Yaojia is dead

You've got what you wanted

Guanying

Because of your feud with each other

and because of your pride

Yaojia is now dead

You're all murderers!

Brother Lu, calm down

What did Yaojia do wrong?

Why did you have to force her to her grave?

Why?

Why?

Guanying

l never expected it to turn out like this

Yaojia

Guanying

You can't bring back the dead

Miss Cheng is already gone

There's no use feeling sad about it

Yaojia died because of me

She died for me

What are you going to do?

Are you thinking of dying as well?

Even if l don't die l'm going to become a monk

l can't let Yaojia down

That's preposterous!

Go ahead and become a monk

The Lu family doesn't have such an unworthy descendent like you

Think about it

What have l taught you all these years?

Are you going to forget about affairs of the state because of your own failed romance?

Have you forgotten

the reason that we painstakingly built Cloud Manor for?

Half the lands of the Song empire has fallen into the hands of the Jins

There are many things awaiting you

Do you think that l don't grieve

over Miss Cheng's death?

But she's already gone

What else can we do?

Brother Lu, you're drinking too much

Are you looking for me?

Yes, Rong-er and l are setting off tomorrow to go look for teacher

So l've come to say goodbye

Why are you leaving so suddenly?

Come, let's drink

- Stop drinking. You're going to get drunk - Drunk?

lt's even better if l get drunk

Then l can forget everything

Brother Lu, are you still thinking about Miss Cheng?

Do you think l can forget her?

Brother Lu, don't be too sad

- You'll meet a better... - Brother Guo

l'd always thought that you were a bosom friend of mine

But actually, you don't understand me at all

Do you think l'm an ungrateful person?

You're wrong

ln my heart, there's only Yaojia

My love runs deep, but l'm unable to recall the dead. What an injustice it is!

Heaven is limitless but who can understand my sorrow?

Those were Yaojia's favourite lyrics

lt's really appropriate

Why?

Why is Heaven so unjust towards us?

l heard that you were unwilling to eat

Eat!

You should just let me die

Actually, whether you live or die is none of my business

But l took the trouble to save you

So if l just let you die it would be a waste of my efforts

No way

Do you know...

You keep going against me, but do you know why l haven't made things difficult for you?

Because your character reminds me of my daughter

You're both so stubborn

lf Rong-er doesn't want to talk no one can make her

She's so spoilt that she even dares to scold her own father

Actually, l'm not like your daughter at all

She dares to scold her own father to his face

But l don't have that courage

You are weaker than she is

Yes, l'm too obedient

lf l'd listened to Guanying and agreed to elope with him

things wouldn't have turned out like this

So the previous generation opposed your marriage

That's how you ended up like this

lt's all my fault

l was too weak

Not only did l bring ruin upon myself

but l implicated Guanying as well

l understand

lt's only because your parents opposed your marriage with Guanying

that things turned out this way

How can there be such pedantic people in this world?

Making a perfect match...

Arranging a match on just the parents' order and the matchmaker's word is just rubbish!

Where do you live?

- l... - l'll take you home right away

and let you both get married

lf your parents dare to object l'll kill them

Then...

Let's go

You're always welcome here at Cloud Manor

Farewell, Old Master Lu

- Alright - Farewell, Brother

Farewell

Brother Lu

What is it, Sister?

Do me a favour. Later when you see my father, don't tell him that we're here

What? Your father?

- ls teacher really here? - Yes

Why would he come here all of a sudden?

He must have forgiven me so he's here to see me

Calm down. l don't know why he's here either

Teacher, l can finally see you again

- Please remember - l can see my teacher again

Please remember not to tell him that we're here

Why not?

- lt's good for you to be reunited - He has a misunderstanding with Jing

lf he sees him, he'll kill him

l see

Don't tell him that we're here We're going to hide

Alright...

Yun, go inside

and bring out all the treasures that l've prepared for my teacher

- Yes - Hurry...

Guanying, why aren't you out there preparing to meet your Grand Teacher?

Yes

Rong-er, don't be like this Go out and meet your father

You're being very unfilial like this

Go out?

lf he sees me, he'll drag me back to Peach Blossom lsland

Then... We'll be separated

You're really troublesome! Why aren't you going in now that we're here?

lf we force them like this they'll shift their anger to Guanying

With me around, who would dare make things difficult for Guanying? Come on

Yaojia

- Guanying - Yaojia

Yaojia, you're alive...

So, he's Lu Guanying?

Guanying, this is Master Huang He saved my life

l'll never forget your kindness

He is indeed a man of good appearance

Don't be afraid. Follow me, l'll back you up

My father is prejudiced against her. lf she goes in, l'm afraid it might be inconvenient

How can there be such a stubborn father in the world?

l'll go in then. Wait here for me

Rong-er, your father's not here yet

What is my father doing here?

- Rong-er, your father is here - Come out if you oppose their marriage!

Teacher

You are?

Your disciple, Lu Chengfeng, pays his respects to you, teacher

Chengfeng? lt's you?

- Chengfeng - All kneel

Get up

- l thought that l'd never see you again - lt's been 10 years

Why are you still so formal after 10 years?

l told you before

not to stand on ceremony when you see me

Teacher

This is a show of respect sincerely from my heart

l broke your legs Why do you still respect me so?

Even if you were my teacher only for a day l'd respect you for the rest of my life

l will always respect you

lt's obviously my fault Why do you not hate me?

lt doesn't matter if you broke my legs even if you'd wanted my life

l wouldn't blame you when l'm dead

l really don't understand

What have l done to deserve so much respect? l really don't understand

Yun

- Present all the gifts to my teacher - Yes

Please accept them

Why are you so good to me?

l have a small request

Go ahead

- Yun - Brother

Help me kneel down

Ever since l left Peach Blossom lsland l've been yearning day and night

for you to change your mind and accept me once again as your disciple

Please grant me this wish

l won't accept you as my disciple again

Teacher...

l only chased you out of Peach Blossom lsland then

l didn't expel you, so why would l need to accept you as my disciple again?

Thank you, teacher...

- Congratulations, brother - Why don't we...

Don't try to persuade me. He's the one who's against our marriage

l was swayed by my feelings and acted too rashly

l broke the legs of all my disciples

l really regretted it

Chengfeng, why are you against this marriage?

How did you know about this, teacher?

You're still fettered by old conventions

Thank goodness Miss Cheng didn't die

Or else this wonderful marriage would have been ruined by you

- Miss Cheng is still alive? - l saved her

She's now outside Send someone to bring her in

- Yun - Yes, brother

Chengfeng, the both of them make a good match. Why are you against it?

Teacher, there's something you should know

Miss Cheng is the disciple of Sun Bu'er from Quanzhen Sect

She often insults you

So how could l possibly let them get married?

You're so muddle-headed

lf the Quanzhen Sect has a bone to pick with me, what has Miss Cheng got to do with it?

And what has Guanying got to do with it?

Father

Old Master Lu

Guanying, pay your respects to Grand Teacher

- My respects to you, Grand Teacher - Get up

Guanying, don't worry

- Your father has agreed to your marriage - Father, is that true?

Since it's Grand Teacher's idea, you should choose a good date to get married then

There's no need to select a date Today is a good day

Chengfeng, preside over their wedding

As you wish

To think that father actually did something good this time!

lt seems like your father isn't all that stubborn

l don't think he'll object to our marriage

You're trying to get me to go out again

l know what my father is like. He'll only scold others, but not himself

From today onwards, you will be man and wife

Go kowtow to Grand Teacher and thank him

Thank you, Grand Teacher...

l'm already very happy to see you lovers ending up together

Teacher

There's something l don't wish to hide from you anymore

- ls there something you're keeping from me? - Yes

l promised Sister that...

Rong-er was here?

Oh no...

- What should we do? - Let's go, quick

Rong-er, you're really hiding here

Do you really hate me so much that you refuse to even see me?

Don't be like this. Let's go out first

Sister

Teacher, you're reunited with your daughter Congratulations!

That's right, it's indeed ajoyous occasion

Rong-er, let's go back to Peach Blossom lsland

Go back with you? Alright, but you have to promise me one thing

You're really spoilt

You're even talking about conditions with your own father

Alright, let's hear it

You tell him, Brother Jing

- What should l say? - Why are you so stupid?

l remember

Master Huang, l want...

What do you want? Say it!

l want to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage

- You're not worthy - Father, you...

Rong-er, l can agree to anything

but l won't let you marry this fool

Father, how did you scold Brother Lu just now? You're guilty of the same thing

Rong-er, don't treat your father like that

Rong-er, l'm doing this for your own good

Think about it

This fool has nothing in terms of looks martial arts skills and intelligence

How can he be worthy of you?

Don't be swayed by your feelings and act rashly. You'll regret it next time

That's enough

Come back with me

lf you don't agree, l'm not going back

Sister, how can you say something as impudent as that?

lt's none of your business

l've never been threatened by anyone before

To think that l'm now being threatened by my own daughter

Rong-er

lf you don't come back with me now

don't ever step into Peach Blossom lsland again!

Alright

- Brother Jing, let's go - Rong-er

Rong-er, don't be like this

Are you coming with me?

Rong-er, l don't want you to get estranged from your father because of me

- You're so useless - Do you still fancy a weakling like him?

l'm asking you one more time are you leaving with me?

Rong-er, l told you already

l don't want you to become estranged

You don't have to say anything else

Just answer me are you coming with me or not?

Rong-er

Alright

You go back to Peach Blossom lsland with Master Huang first

l know, that's just your excuse

You're still in love with Huazheng You've been lying to me all along, isn't it?

That's not true

Cut the nonsense

- Chengfeng - Teacher

- We'll meet again - Take care, teacher

- Take care, Grand Teacher - Rong-er, let's go back to the island

Let's go

- Let's go... - l'm not going

- Rong-er - Brother Jing

Don't follow us. Let's go!

Rong-er

Jing, are you alright?

- Huazheng? - What happened?

lgnore him, let's go

Brother...

Wait for me in front, l'll be right back

Guo Jing, why are you drinking so much?

Rong-er has gone back to Peach Blossom lsland

Miss Huang has gone back?

Why didn't you go with her?

lt's her father

- Her father objects to our relationship - So you dare not go look for her

because you're afraid of her father?

Guo Jing, listen to me

Forget about everything else and go look for Miss Huang at Peach Blossom lsland

Jing, what are you thinking?

l'm so useless...

Jing, l think Miss Huang must be thinking about you day and night, waiting for you

But look at you, you only know how to scold yourself

You're just drowning your sorrows in wine but what's the use of that?

How is this fair to Miss Huang?

Guo Jing

Pull yourself together and go look for Miss Huang
