Duan Tiande

Do you wish to die slowly or quickly?

l know l deserve to die But l only followed orders

This is not my fault There is a mastermind behind it

You should look for Wanyan Honglie He gave the order for me

to kill the Guo and Yang families or else, my own family would die

Nonsense! You did it for monetary gains and to please Wanyan Honglie

You were ruthless, bringing death and tragedy to Guo and Yang families

Master Ke, l was ignorant in the past by going my own way

l deserve to die. Please kill me

Good. Before Guo Jing and you were even born

Your fathers had decided that the two of you would be sworn brothers

Why don't you two go through the ceremony now in front of your fathers' altars?

What do you think, Brother Kang?

l'd love to

Good. Let's be good brothers

- to share good times - As well as bad times

You'd better mean it

Your Brother Kang is used to wealth and is scheming in nature. You must be careful

Of what?

He says he's returning to the palace

Why don't you ask him to kill Wanyan Honglie?

Sounds good. l'll get him to go right away

That's not likely to happen He won't do it

That's true. Wanyan Honglie is his foster father. He'd find it hard to kill him

- Brother Guo - Yes?

- l'm here to bid you farewell - Farewell?

You're returning to the palace?

l'd back if l didn't know the truth

Now, l'll never go back to that old scoundrel no matter what he does

For all my wrongdoings, l'll observe mourning in Niu Family Village for 3 years

Great. l'll come with you

Niu Family Village is so run-down lt's not suitable for Miss Huang

You better not go with me

You stay on here and keep her company l'll see you again, l'm sure

- Brother Kang, Brother Kang - Hey, let him go

He's all alone in this world l feel so sad for him

Rong-er, what's happening?

This route leads to Niu Family Village while that one leads to Yanjing

Watch carefully

Look, Yang Kang is here

What are you doing? Can you bring yourself to kill him?

lf not, don't be angry

A leopard will never change its spots

No matter how you hit him he'll be the same

Would Yang Kang be going to Yanjing to kill Wanyan Honglie?

Why are you always so positive?

You can't assume everyone's evil

Fine, l was wrong

Brother Jing, look

Lu Guanying?

- Yaojia - Guanying

Let's go

We can't keep sneaking around like this

lt's better than not meeting at all

Why are we born into opposing families? Why were we fated to meet?

Since you're so troubled, Miss you should come with me

l'm Ouyang Ke, Young Master of White Camel Mountain. Pleased to meet you

- What do you want? - lgnore him. Let's go

Guanying

- Let's go tell his father - Miss Huang

Ouyang Ke, he...

- How absurd! - What's in the letter?

He is coming at midnight to marry Yaojia

The absurdity of it all! The man is a lowlife. How dare he?

Yaojia, how did you meet such a scoundrel?

l wouldn't have guessed he would dare to trifle with us, Quanzhen Sect

- What can we do, father? - What else can we do?

We'll fight it out till the end

- Men - Yes sir

- Gather all our men - Yes, Master

lt's no use, father They can't defeat Ouyang Ke

There is not enough time to inform the other Six Masters of Quanzhen

Don't be so nervous

l don't think he has the guts to step into our house

Li Sheng of Beggar Sect is my old friend Let's ask him for help

l said there is no need to be so nervous

l can handle Ouyang Ke

l don't think Ouyang Ke will let Cheng Yaojia off

That dirty scoundrel has done so much evil lt's a pity my skills are not good enough

- Or l will surely kill him - You want to kill him? l'll help you

- Both of you are to seal off this road - Yes

We will watch Miss Cheng's room from here

- Remember, we must not fail tonight - Yes...

One more thing...

Let's go

What are they up to at Cheng's?

Thank you for your help, Sir l am extremely grateful

Please don't say that You are a respectable young lady

We cannot let a scoundrel like Ouayng Ke have his way

How's Yaojia? Where is she?

Release her

Miss Cheng, you're beautiful indeed l am willing to be with you forever

You have been infected with a special poison from White Camel Mountain

You'd better be smart and listen to me

Otherwise, your body will start to decay and you will die

Why don't you ignore Lu Guanying

and just be with me

Ouyang Ke

lt's Miss Huang

You think she's pretty?

Of course not, no one can compare to you in terms of beauty

Shut up and release her

l am willing to release her

lf you would allow me to kiss you l can give up Miss Cheng

as well as all the women by my side

l think we, of White Camel Mountain and Peach Blossom lsland, make a great couple

You're not good enough to marry me

- Miss Huang... - Master...

He's just caught one and now he's chasing another

WWhat do you say, Miss Huang

You want to touch me? Stop dreaming

Master, Miss Cheng has been rescued

After that, you can send her home

- Me? - Of course

lf her father knows you saved her he'll change his mind about you

Then, you can guess the rest

Brother Lu, Rong-er says this is the best chance for you

You're still hesitating? Don't you want to spend your life with her?

lt's all set then. Let's go

Yaojia

Guanying, why are you here?

- l was caught by Ouyang Ke... - Don't worry

You were rescued by two of my friends

They brought me here to see you

- Guanying - Yaojia

Master, Miss Cheng is back

- Father... - Yaojia, are you alright?

How dare you, you scoundrel

- Master Cheng - Yes?

Look at him, he can't even defeat me How could he beat Ouyang Ke?

Teacher, don't misunderstand He wasn't the only one who saved me

He had two friends as well

You shameless girl. Stop helping him

Sun Bu'er, don't insult me

l, Lu Guanying, is a respectable man

You're respectable?

Don't pretend to be a hero and lie to us

Master Cheng may be taken in by you but you can't pull wool over my eyes

Lu Guanying, leave now or l shall break your legs

You've said it yourself You'll die this time

Die?

(Selling myself to bury my husband)

Why did you die, my husband?

She's selling herself to bury her husband

- l don't want to live anymore - How pitiful

Madam, you're blocking our doorway

Take pity on me, please

There's a corpse here? This won't do

Cheng manor has many people who need to use this doorway

YYou can't sit here, mada

Look how everyone is bullying me now that you're head

Madam

What?

Madam, please remove this corpse

l don't even have a coffin for him Where can l take him?

- You... - Do l have to roll him up in a mat

and throw him in the sea?

He can't lie there and block the way

Sir, do a good deed and buy me as a servant

l am strong and hardworking l can do everything

Take it as good karma

You're so troublesome

Sir, a coffin won't cost very much

Please help me, sir

Do a good deed and buy me as a servant

- Madam - l take that as a 'Yes'

Thank you!

Remember, the Chengs are a respectable family

Our Master does not have many children He only has one daughter

But he is quite easy-going

So, l can joke with him?

Remember, you're a servant

lt's not as bad to offend Master as to offend Miss Cheng's teacher

Her name is Sun Bu-er

She is the only woman among the Seven Masters of Quanzhen

- Her temper is terrible - Alright

l know who l can mess with and who l shouldn't

Master, this is a new maid we've just bought

Her name is Daixi

My respects to you, Master May you have wealth and prosperity

good health, and many children in the future

Master's wife has only passed away for a few years

Maybe he has a few companions

- lsn't that right, Master? - Master...

- Yes? - Miss Cheng refuses to eat

She said she'd hit me if l say anymore

My daughter is getting out of hand

What happened?

- You're just in time - Yaojia is throwing a tantrum again?

You're so useless

Let me do it

No, my daughter knows martial arts and is very bad-tempered

Fighting is not the way to solve everything You must use reason

Let me try

- Where is her room? - The first room straight ahead

Excuse me

Who is this girl? l've never seen her before

She's a new maid just purchased by our housekeeper, Ding

Yes, she is very pitiful

Her husband has just died and she had no money to bury him

She was suffering a lot

Suffering? Her husband has just died and yet she keeps smiling happily?

She must be an indecent woman

Who are you? Get out

Get out? lt's alright, but you may regret it

Get out

- You don't know me, do you? - Get out now

Why are you so fierce? Lu Guanying sent me

Guanying?

This letter is from him

How is Guanying?

Don't worry. l'll think of ways to let you two meet after awhile

Hurry up and eat

- Go on and eat - Alright

You've let your father down by being with the enemy

You've let your teacher down And the whole Cheng family

You'll be fine if you listen to me Understand?

Yes

Go and sleep after your meal

Wait

What's your name?

- My name is Daixi - Daixi?

You will take care of Miss Cheng's meals from now onwards

lf she disobeys, you must inform me right away, understand?

This won't do. Ding said l'm just here to take care of some household chores

Here's some money for you to buy some cosmetics

You want me to turn into Lady Chung?

This few pennies will only be enough for half of my face

You nasty girl. You only know how to blackmail people

Why get angry? l'm a nobody lt's not worthwhile getting angry

Brother Guo, will Yaojia come?

Yes, Rong-er said she has a way

She's still not here yet

Guanying, Guanying

- Guanying - Yaojia

- Did my teacher upset you yesterday? - No

Don't deny it

lt's my fault, l got you into this

As long we're together l can bear any pain or suffering

Don't just say sweet nothings to each other

Let's discuss how to get the two of you married

Yes, you can't sneak around for the rest of your lives

My father and her teacher are so stubborn lt won't be easy to talk to them

We can't just talk to them, of course We must think of a plan

What plan?

- l have an idea. But... - But what?

Rong-er, what is it?

Miss Cheng, are you willing to sacrifice everything for love?

Yes, l'll do anything to be with Guanying

That'll do

lf all goes well, you'll be married in a month's time

But l'm afraid things will not be so simple

l'm here, there's nothing to fear

Look at you. Come on in

- Did you bring it? - Yes

l must tell you beforehand that you'll have to suffer

You can still change your mind now

l'm willing to suffer for the sake of my marriage with Guanying

Alright

Help! Somebody, help!

- What happened? - What is it?

l don't know. lt seems somebody called for help from Miss Cheng's room

Help!

Follow Master in for a look

Help, somebody!

She's fainted. Help!

- Yaojia - Miss Cheng

- What happened? - There's a snake, Master

- Where is the masked man? - He's escaped

See how Yaojia is

How is she?

Her pulse is not stable She seems to have been poisoned

- What should we do? - Don't worry

l've blocked her 6 vital acupuncture points The poison won't reach her heart for now

Daixi... What happened just now?

Daixi

Daixi

Stop crying. What did the masked man dojust now?

He came in and pointed his fan right at us

And?

And...

He tried to get near us

Luckily, Miss Cheng threw a stool at him and we were saved

Don't cry. Keep talking

He seemed really angry and took a snake out

He threw it at Miss Cheng and left

- lt's him again? - Who is he?
