My friends

Where are you from? Why do you set yourselves against my men?

- Are you the lord of the manor? - Yes

We just got acquainted with your son

l want to ask you

Why are you against your son's relationship with Miss Cheng?

That's a family matter it's none of your business

Father, they're both good friends of mine

They're good people

Since they are guests why don't you invite them in?

After you

Miss, what do you think of that painting? Please give a critique

l wouldn't dare to give a critique

But l do have some opinions about it l hope you won't take offense at them

Why would l? Please go ahead

Sir, this painting

depicts General Yue Fei's feelings when he was writing Xiao Song Shan

l believe that the painter like General Yue Fei

had unfulfilled aspirations and feelings of hopelessness

But it's a pity...

What's a pity?

Rong-er, the painter put so much effort into the painting

Don't criticise it

lt's the pity that the painter is a useless person

A useless person doesn't care about the world

A person who only cares about eating and sleeping

can hardly be compared to General Yue Fei and his patriotic spirit

Sir, please forgive me for being so blunt

You're right

A useless person like me

cannot be compared to General Yue

l'm merely crippled in my 2 legs

but l groan about it incessantly

Losing my legs isn't that big of a deal

l shouldn't even be considered a disabled person

Father

Guanying, l'm feeling exceptionally happy today

All the things that were on my mind

have all been pointed out by this young lady

Sir, l was just making a casual comment

You're very wise, you must be from a family of scholars

May l ask for your father's name?

My father has kept his identity hidden for many years

He teaches in a village

l don't wish to mention his name

There are indeed many learned masters who live in obscurity

- Guanying - Yes

Please attend to our friends

Stay here for a few more days

Thank you, sir

This way please

Miss Huang, this way please

Brother Guo, you'll stay in this room

- Miss Huang will stay next door - Alright

Master Lu, what is this?

That's just a decoration

lf there's anything you need just call for the servants

Another thing you'd better not go out at night

Brother Lu, are there many criminals around?

No. Whatever the case just try not to wander around

l'll take my leave

Brother Jing, do you think there's something strange about this place?

Here?

lt's rather nice here what's so strange about it?

That was obviously an lron Eight Trigram

But he lied to us saying it was a decoration

- What's an lron Eight Trigram? - lt's used to train the Void Striking Palm

My father taught me that before

And those peach blossoms we sawjust now...

Why did they remind me of Peach Blossom lsland so much?

Peach Blossom lsland is so well-known everyone wants to imitate it

But they couldn't possibly replicate it so well

l think there's something strange about Old Master Lu

Rong-er, the Lu family has been so nice to us. Don't make blind guesses

You... They might not be sincere

Be careful not to get taken advantage of

He told us not to wander around There must be something fishy going on

Rong-er

We're just guests here, don't create trouble

Alright... l won't

Brother Jing...

Get up now. Get dress and come with me

- What's going on? - Quick! Don't ask...

- Rong-er, where are you taking me? - Don't ask

lt's so noisy there why can't we see anyone?

They're behind the peach blossom trees Come with me

Young Master

Brother Zhang, have you received any word?

Master, the Jin imperial envoy will be passing through Lake Tai tonight

The court has sent Duan Tiande to receive him

That corrupt official has stolen a lot from the people

- How much has he stolen? - Around 20 chests full

Everyone, these are all ill-gotten gains

What should we do?

We await your orders, sir

These hard-won possessions

belong to the commoners of Lake Tai

lt's only right for us to retrieve them

- Master Zhang, Master Li - Yes, sir

Order your men to set off at once!

- Yes - Wait, l've got something to say

You are...

l'm Ma Qingxiong, one of the Four Ghosts of Huang River

l've just joined

Brother Ma, what is your opinion?

l think that it is foolish to go against the Jin envoy

A lot of rich people pass through Lake Tai

Why create trouble for ourselves?

Brother Ma, this is your first time here

So you might not understand our rules

Though we are thieves but we have our own code of conduct

Anyway, we're just offending the Jin scoundrels

How can that be classified as trouble?

That's right, the Young Master is right We'll all defer to him

Alright, do whatever you want l'm backing out

Brother Ma, we've already sworn an oath

to share all wealth and woe together

How can you leave now?

- Do you think you can stop me? - You're not allowed to leave

We have our own rules here

How can you just leave as you please?

Brothers, we're all leaving now

Whoever backs out, will end up like him

Yes!

What are the Four Ghosts of Huang River doing here?

Just keep watching and you'll find out

Your Highness, l'm presenting this to you as a welcome gift

lt's just a small token l hope that you'll accept it

We've got lots of treasures like this back in our country of Jin

What l want is the map that shows the distribution of the Song troops

Can you get it?

l...

l'll try my best...

Oh no

- He's a Jin scoundrel - Attack

Arrest him together with Duan Tiande

Duan Tiande, move it!

- Move it... - You...

Yang Kang?

Rong-er, what should we do now?

They've captured Yang Kang

He's getting his just deserts He deserves to die

But our fathers were sworn brothers

How can l just leave him in the lurch?

They won't kill Yang Kang

We'll talk about this another time

l think we should first find out more about Lu Chengfeng

Your Highness... Save me, your Highness...

Save me, your Highness...

Jin scoundrel

l have many paintings in my collection

l'd like the both of you to take a look at them

The paintings in your collection must be exquisite

Take a look at those as well

Time to eat

Don't run

The brush strokes of this painting are very even...

Don't run, catch him

You're at an advantage because of your numbers

We needn't bother when dealing with the likes of you. Attack

- Father, are you alright? - Let's continue to admire the paintings

Which do you prefer?

lt's a pity that the martial arts skills of Cloud Manor don't live up their name

That Jin scoundrel's moves seem very familiar. Guanying

- Yes - Lock him up

Move it

Do pardon me

Please don't take offense at what happened just now

Sir, although your legs are crippled

but your martial arts skills are superb l'm really impressed

lt's really nothing at all

Can you tell me where you learnt your skills from?

Naturally, l had to work very hard at it

But if l mention my teacher's name

it would truly bring him disgrace

Let's not talk about this Let's appreciate the paintings

His martial arts skills identify him as someone from Peach Blossom lsland

Or maybe he knows Mei Chaofeng

He's a bit too old to be Mei Chaofeng's disciple

Or could he be a relative of hers?

Rong-er

Whoever he is

the most important thing now is to go rescue Yang Kang

Didn't you hear what they said?

Yang Kang is working for the Jins now

lf you save him, you'll cause the ruin of many more people

She's trying to save her lover You don't have to interfere

She's never going to be able to save Yang Kang at this rate

Thank you for your guidance

Hasn't she escaped from the Peach Blossom Formation?

Kang

Nianci

Kang...

Nianci, how did you get here?

l heard that you'd been captured at Cloud Manor

Let's go

Try using your internal skills to break the chain

lt's useless

My internal skills aren't that powerful

- What should we do then? - lt's no use

The lord of the manor is highly skilled

You won't be able to save me this time

Think of a way

Nianci, let me look at you

How can you say that at a time like this?

l'm going to die anyway

Nianci

We've not seen each other for such a long time

l thought that l'd never see you again

l told Brother Guo to tell you to meet me at Flower Pavillion

Why didn't you come?

Father wouldn't let me see you

You're calling him 'Father'? You...

Scold me if you want to

Nianci

Remove the Jin tablet from my waist

Take it to Prime Minister Shi

Why would Prime Minister Shi agree to see me?

He will when he sees the tablet

Tell him that l'm being held captive at Cloud Manor

Thus, l can't meet him

You must get this message to him

lf any Mongolian envoy wishes to see him

he must have him killed

Tell him that this is an order from the Jin empire. He cannot disobey it

What did you say?

lt's politics, you won't understand

But you must see Prime Minister Shi

Or else, our Jin empire is doomed

What Jin empire?

We're citizens of Song

l won't do it

Nianci

Don't you want to become a royal concubine of Jin?

Yang Kang, let me tell you

My foster father is your birth father

l'm a Han Chinese, and so are you

l don't want to be a royal concubine of Jin

And you should forget about being a prince of Jin

Alright... Just forget it

Kang, it's not that l don't want to help you

But l won't do anything to the detriment of my country

l'm sorry

Nianci, l don't have to be a prince of Jin

Let's live in seclusion

But it's too late now

Kang

She's the only one who can save me

- Who? - My teacher, Mei Chaofeng

Where is she?

She roams around, but she mentioned that

if l ever needed to see her

l should go to the Local God Temple 30 'li' north of Suzhou

l'll go right away

But you have to promise me that you'll turn over a new leaf

Nianci, do you still doubt me?

l've said that l won't let you down again

Alright, l'll leave right away

Ouyang Ke?

Miss Mu, long time no see

l've got something important to do

Something important? Tell me about it Perhaps l can be of help

Yang Kang is being held captive at Cloud Manor

Yang Kang? You mean the little prince?

Will you go save him?

His father has been kind to me l'll definitely save him

But on one condition

lf you agree to it

l'll go save him

Don't you dare

l always get my hands on what l want sooner or later

Don't come near me

Do you want to save Yang Kang?

Mei Chaofeng?

Sir, someone delivered this He said that you should open it yourself

- Open it - Yes

- Who delivered it? - lt was a young child. He's already gone

lt's her... lt's really her

Father, who is she?

These holes are obviously created by 5 fingers

Who possesses such strength?

Guanying, tell everyone in the manor not to go anywhere

Send all the relatives to the North Manor at Wuxi City

- Father, what's going on? - Don't ask, just do as l say

Yes

Old Master Lu why have you summoned us so urgently?

lt's nothing. We met by chance but we get along so well

l'd wanted to ask you both to stay for a few more days

lt's a pity that something has just cropped up. That's why l'd like

the both of you

to leave earlier

Sir, what has happened?

l'd better be honest with you

My enemies have come for revenge

So l hope that the both of you can leave earlier

- Fu, bring 40 taels of gold - Yes, master

Sir, we don't want your gold

But l'd like to meet this highly skilled exponent that you've mentioned

Miss, l know that you're versed in martial arts

But mere fancy moves...

Who said that my skills were just fancy moves?

Old Master Lu, you've been so kind to us

We can't just leave now that you're in trouble

l know that the both of you are very kind-hearted

But you'd better leave

Here is some medicine you should bring along with you

Thank you, sir

The Nine Flower Jade Pill?

How did you know the name of this medicine?

A high priest gave some to me when l was younger. That's how l know

You'd better leave soon

Sir, there's something l don't understand

What is it?

You know that your enemy is highly skilled

So why don't you find a place to hide?

There's something you don't know

This enemy has caused me much grief

My legs were crippled because of her

lt's been 20 years. Even if she doesn't come looking for me

l'd want to settle the score with her too

Father, l've gathered all the disciples of Cloud Manor

Guanying, please see our 2 friends off

Yes

This way please

Are we really leaving?

We'll come back later

Rong-er

lt must be Mei Chaofeng

He doesn't even know about Chen Xuanfeng's death

Rong-er, did your father have a disciple like Old Master Lu?

No, but all of my father's disciples had the word 'feng' in their names

His name is Lu Chengfeng He does seem like my father's disciple

Even if we are here we still can't defeat Mei Chaofeng

Have you forgotten about the 18 Dragon Subduing Palms that Qigong taught you?

Why don't you try it on Mei Chaofeng and see if you've improved?

That person is highly skilled He's able to raise such a large jar

Sir

- You must be Young Master Lu - Yes. May l ask for your name?

My name is Qiu Qianren

You're Qiu Qianren?

So you're the Floating lron Palm Qiu Qianren

You've actually heard of my nickname

l've not been active for more than 20 years

l thought that everyone had forgotten about me

Sir, what do you have against my father...

- What are you talking about? - Aren't you the one who sent the skull?

Master Qiu

WWhat brings you here

l am planning to make a comeback

and pit my martial arts skills against other heroes

Let's talk about this another time

Master Qiu

lf you have come here to look for me

l'm afraid that you've come at a bad time

Does it have something to do with the skull?

How did you know that?

Young Master Lu mentioned it just now

What feud do you have with Mei Chaofeng?

lt's a long story

We used to be fellow disciples under the same teacher

But she offended our teacher

And my teacher broke my legs because of that

l have to settle this score with her

lf Old Master Lu is in trouble l must extend my help

Thank you...

Master Qiu

Mei Chaofeng is highly skilled you must be careful

lt looks like this young man has doubts about my abilities

Sir, l didn't mean that

l don't blame you

You've yet to witness my true martial arts skills

Master Qiu is rather highly skilled

This young lady has good judgment

The East Heretic, West Venom

South Emperor and North Beggar are the most highly skilled

But the four of them might not be a match for me

ls that true? The East Heretic and North Beggar

are very famous. Are you so confident?

Do you doubt my skills as well?

Master Qiu, she's too young

She doesn't know much about worldly affairs Please do not take it to heart

l won't hold it against her

xActually, l'm here at Cloud Manor

because there's something very important l wish to discuss with you

Master, 5 strange people have barged in

Move aside

- My respects to you, teachers - Why are you here?

Why are you here?

We passed by Lake Tai

Some people from Cloud Manor were making things difficult for us

claiming that we sent them some skull

lt seems like there's been a misunderstanding

That's why we're here to clear things up

l'm the Master of Cloud Manor, Lu Chengfeng

l'm the Gifted Scholar, Zhu Cong, of the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan

So it's the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan

We shouldn't have to fear Mei Chaofeng then

So that demoness Mei Chaofeng is here again?

First Teacher, she's not here yet but she sent a skull over

No wonder we had a misunderstanding with the people of Cloud Manor

Since it's just a misunderstanding

please stay here at the manor tonight

l'll hold a banquet in your honour as an apology

What do you think?

We'll take up your offer and stay here

Jing

ls that little demoness still bothering you?

The little demoness has become his shadow

and she'll follow him around forever How's that?

- You little demoness... - Let's talk about this another time

Here's a toast to everyone

Since there are so many heroes here at Cloud Manor

it will make things easier

Does Master Qiu have any suggestions?

l heard that the young prince of Jin Wanyan Kang

is being held captive here. ls that true?

Yes, it is true

Old Master Lu, Young Master Lu

Wise men act according to the situation

The Jins will be advancing southwards soon

Those who comply with Heaven's will shall thrive and those who resist shall perish

Why do you both set yourselves against the Jin empire?

Why don't you release Wanyan Kang on my account?

Then we'll all be able to enjoy lots of wealth and luxury in the future

Nonsense! Qiu Qianren you must have had too much to drink

- l'm absolutely sober - Absolutely sober?

What you've just said is absolute nonsense

You colluding with the Jin scoundrels How can you call yourself a hero?

l wasn't talking to you, blind fool

- What are you going to do? - First Brother

What do you think, Old Master Lu?

Master Ke is right. All that you've said just now is absolute nonsense

Since you've refused when l asked you nicely, you'll suffer the consequences

- lt's all because of you, blind fool - How dare you!

First Teacher, let me

Your parents spent so much effort in bringing you up

l'd wanted to let you live so don't be unappreciative

We meet again after more than 20 years

Where's Brother Chen? Why isn't he here with you?

Spare the talk. Where's Yang Kang?

Hand Yang Kang over now!

So you're colluding with the Jins as well

- l'll get rid of you on behalf of teacher - Come on

Old Master Lu, with me around you don't have to fear this demoness

So the Seven Freaks of Jiangnan are here too

l'm here as well, Sister Mei

Sister, why are you here? Where's teacher?

Your teacher is dead

- Who are you? - l'm Qiu Qianren

Huang Yaoshi was battling the Seven Masters of Quanzhen

And he was killed by them

Master Qiu, is that the truth?

A man of my stature wouldn't lie to you

Rong-er, your father is so highly skilled He won't be killed so easily

The Seven Masters of Quanzhen don't have any feud with your father. Why would they fight?

So you're my teacher's daughter

No wonder you were able to break the Peach Blossom Formation

Brother Lu, my father hardly mentions you, so...

My father is dead. Whatever grievances there are between you and Sister Mei

- we'll talk about it when we've avenged him - You're right

Mei Chaofeng, we'll settle our score again another time

Alright

Teacher's death must have something to do with Zhou Botong

Who's Zhou Botong? What feud does he have with Rong-er's father?

Master Qiu, did you see the Seven Masters of Quanzhen killing my teacher

with your very own eyes?

- l heard it from someone - Who was it?

Hong Qigong

When was that?

Where? Where did Qigong tell you that?

At the top of Mount Tai

You're lying. A month ago Brother Jing and l were with Qigong

Qigong never went to Mount Tai

You're lying, aren't you?

Tell me, are you lying?

Lu Chengfeng, it's time to settle our score

- Alright - Lu Chengfeng

Will you release my disciple?

You're really thick-skinned to say that

You shamelessly had an illicit liaison with Brother Chen

stole teacher's Jiuyin manual and angered him greatly

Teacher broke our legs

and chased us all out of Peach Blossom lsland

You only know how to blame others

What about yourself?

You banded together with the other sects of Lake Tai to hunt us down

There was nowhere else for us to go

and we ended up in the desert plains lt's because of you...

Or else the old scoundrel wouldn't have died

- What? Brother Chen is dead? - Forget it, let's not talk about it

Wise up and release my disciple

Or else, even if it costs me my life l'll kill everyone here at Cloud Manor

Wait, let me ask you

How did Brother Chen die?

Lu Chengfeng, release my disciple

and l won't hold it against you for chasing us to the desert plains

l only blame my own destiny lt's all fated, so there's nothing l can say

Sister Mei

Who killed Brother Chen?

Haven't you always wanted us dead?

He's already been dead for so long Let's not talk about it anymore

But it's a pity that

the old scoundrel died without a proper burial

Lu Chengfeng, do you think that you're in misery

- because your legs are crippled? - Yes

lf it wasn't because of what you did

that angered teacher why would l even lose my legs?

Haven't l suffered all these years?

At least you have a family and a career You even have a son

What about me?

My other half is dead, l'm all alone

And my eyes are blind

Who would understand my misery?

Forget it. Whatever grudges you hold against us

let's just forget the past

Sister Mei

Brother, we're after all fellow disciples

Release Yang Kang and our score is settled

Think about it carefully
