Xiruo, l don't blame you...

My husband

Where is our son?

He is doing well. He's already 18 years old

He's Wanyan Kang?

He has been so good to us all these years

Didn't you say you've never loved him?

You've been missing me for 18 years, not him

You don't understand

ls it because of the wealth and glory he can give to you?

Or are you afraid he will harm you if you leave?

No, he's not like that

lf l want to leave, he will respect me

So why are you worrying?

Uncle Yang...

lt's okay. This is Brother Guo's son

Miss Mu couldn't stop Wanyan Kang He's coming in now

lt's alright. Let him in. He is my son

- You're acknowledging him now? - Yes

No, he'll be in shock

Where are you staying?

Xiruo, you...

l will bring Kang-er to you in 10 days

- Xiruo - Tiexin

Mother

Mother

Kang-er, let's go back

Chunxiang and Priestess have fainted and are tied up outside

- Really? - What happened?

Let's go back. l'll tell you then

Priestess and Chunxiang have been tied up by your father's men

Father is back?

Not the Prince, but your father

What do you mean, mother?

The Prince brought this spear back from Niu Family Village

All the furniture here were taken from Niu Family Village

Mother, where is that?

lt is in Jiangnan, in Song within the Linan boundary

Your father grew up there and we married there

Mother, father is the Sixth Prince of Jin

How could he have grown up in Niu Family Village?

Kang-er

You're a Han

You're not Wanyan Kang Your surname is Yang. You're Yang Kang

- l'll get the lmperial Doctor - Kang-er

l'm very sober

This spear belonged to your father

You are not the Prince's son Your father is Yang Tiexin

- lt can't be - Kang-er, l wouldn't lie to you

Your father is a common citizen of Song

No, my father is the Sixth Prince of Jin Wanyan Honglie

Kang-er

My Lady, the Prince wants to see you

Kang-er

Father, l need to ask you something l hope you can be honest with me

What is it?

Tell me, am l your real son?

Am l a Song, or a Jin?

Kang-er, don't be rude

Mother says my surname is Yang ls it true? Tell me!

Kang-er your mother was only joking with you

Your surname is not Yang

Don't play a trick like that on our son

Your Highness

Guess what l brought back from my trip to Xixia?

Only three guesses

- Your Highness, about this... - Kang-er

l need to speak with your mother Go back and rest first

l want to go out and relax for a few days

Very well, as long as you're happy

l'm off

Kang-er, l still need to talk to you

lt can wait till our son comes back from his vacation

- Kang-er, be careful - l will

Kang...

How can you tell the child these things? He'll be upset

Your Highness

Why did you lie to me that you've found my husband's body?

- Drink up - Uncle Yang, l'll be drunk

Don't worry

Father, don't drink too much The wine will do you no good

Nianci, do you know which is the happiest day of my life?

lt has to be today, of course

So you must all drink with me

Father, Guo Jing has to leave tomorrow You should rest early

Yes, we have to be up early

- Not us, just me - l'm coming along

After l meet my six Teachers at Zuixian lnn l'll be back

You stay here and take care of Uncle Yang and Miss Mu

l won't have to worry if you're here

You shouldn't have lied to me that my husband was dead

l didn't lie to you

General Jin came back and said he saw Yang Tiexin's dead body

How could it not be?

Don't think so much You didn't sleep well all night

- Your eyes are all red. Come on... - Your Highness

l...

He wants me to go back to him

His request is reasonable

lf l were him, l would do the same

Your Highness

When are you leaving?

l promised l would bring Kang-er to him in 10 days

So you're leaving me in 10 days?

Will you not miss this place?

Why don't you say something?

Yes

Okay, come with me

Your Highness

You must repay what you owe to me before you can go and see Tiexin

This is the first time l've hit a woman

Especially, a woman that l love

l hit you because you are an ingrate

My brothers have several wives each while l only have you

l am so stupid

Your Highness

l've told you long ago that l only love my husband

You knew it all along

l know. Even if Yang Tiexin was dead you would still love him

Not to mention he is still alive

ln your eyes l am nothing compared to a corpse

But you know this

l know

For 18 years l have tried to win your love

l thought my perseverance could move you

But, apparently you don't have a heart

l do, and that was why l married you

and let down my husband

You're not to talk about him l am your husband

You keep saying you've done a lot for me

Have you considered the big sacrifice l did for you?

l was meant to stay a widow

For 18 years, l have served you without a single complaint

l owe you nothing

lf you must hear it from me then l was wrong. l'm sorry

Don't go

Do l still owe you?

Take it that l owe you

You are never to leave my place in this lifetime

Why aren't you eating more? Help yourself

lf Guo Jing sees you not eating well he'll be upset

l... l'm full

You're so boring that you've lost your appetite

Tell you what we can take care of ourselves here

You hurry along and go with Jing

Since you've said that don't blame me if anything happens!

My Lady

Even if you won't eat at least have some soup

Go away. Stop bothering me

Yang Tiexin? l know him

Do you remember his wife? Her surname is Bao

l remember They were a loving couple

But they met with misfortune

The most pitiful must be the baby she was pregnant with

l remember the last time l saw her...

Master Zhang

- Going out? - Yes

My shovel is damaged

- Can you repair it for me? - Sure, bring it in anytime

Why don't you have your wife bring it in?

She's not well and is resting

How can you be so happy when your wife is ill?

- No, she is carrying my baby - Really?

Yes, it's been two months

l'll be a father next year during Seventh Sister Birthday

Let me die

- Get the lmperial Doctor - Yes sir

Why torture yourself?

l did this because l love you

Surely you don't want your son

to lose his mother when he has just met his father?

Leave now, leave right away

From now on l will have nothing to do with you

Go on!

Your Highness

Leave an address l'll send Kang-er to you when he returns

Your Highness

Please send for a doctor l don't wish to die here

Your Highness

- How is my Lady? - She is fine

See the doctor out

This is the address

l'm leaving

All the jewellery and silk robes are in the cabinet

Xiruo

Didn't you say l could go? Are you going back on your word?

lt's getting late and you're injured

- How can l not worry? - l'll be fine

Listen to me one last time Rest up tonight and leave tomorrow

He's at room he in Fulai lnn Kill him and be handsomely rewarded

Your Highness we've never seen Yang Tiexin before

Just kill anyone you see in that place

What if he's gone out?

Don't worry. l've told General Jin to seal off the whole street

No one can get away

Then rest assured, Your Highness

l will bring you his head tomorrow morning

Why are you sitting here? Go away

Get lost

What do you want?

- What's happening? - They're catching rebels

The whole street is sealed You'd better go home

You'll get in trouble if you are caught

- Where are you going? - We're drinking tea over there

Get lost We already said you can't get out

Are you tired of living? Get lost

How dare you speak to the Little Prince like this?

l can sentence your whole clan to death

You're Little Prince? Then l'm the Emperor!

Well, Your Highness

Do you need a sedan to get back to your palace?

l'm never going back there

Look, he really believes he is Little Prince

Do you think he looks the part?

Not really. He looks more like a stray dog

Come on, bark a few times for us

- Let us hear a couple of barks - Come on

- Bark - Bark

You Han loser, how dare you hit me Beat him up

Everything is ready. You can set off now

Take this letter

Nobody in Jing or Song will bully you

Kang-er is a naughty boy This will help you greatly

Your Highness

You've been so good to us

l can never repay your kindness

Let me pay you my respects

lt's time to go

Let me see you off so l can look at you longer

- Disperse - Yes sir

- Why is it so noisy outside? - That's right

Xiruo

Xiruo

Hold it

Your Highness

What are you doing?

We are carrying out orders from the Prince Please excuse us

Xiruo

Mother...

Father, how do you feel?

Let's take a rest inside, come

(Water God Temple)

My Lady's illness is from suffering emotional trauma

on top of her poor disposition and persistent old injury

Mother

How can this be? Why has she not awaken?

Her recovery will now depend on Prince's luck

You must save my Lady no matter how

l'll kill all of you if anything happens to her

Mother

lt's getting late, Your Highness Go get some rest

You did this to my mother

Kang, are you crazy?

Yes

Kill me now. l don't wish to live anymore

Kang

Yes

l admit l was the one to kill Yang Tiexin

But why did l do it?

l did it for the sake of the both of you

That man lied to your mother and abandoned her

18 years later, he finds out she's the royal concubine and blackmails her

Do you think he deserves to live?

- ls that true? - Of course

Your mother only loves me

- And l only love her - You're lying

Kang

Do you know

Before my mother fainted she kept calling out for Yang Tiexin

Kang, even if your mother's really smitten with that man

you mustn't doubt your father You are my flesh and blood

l've been to Niu Family Village and found out my true identity

l know very clearly that you are not my real father

My father is Yang Tiexin

Very well

l won't pretend anymore since you already know

What do you plan to do now?

l've given you boundless wealth these 18 years

l gave you everything you've ever wanted

Think about it Has Yang Tiexin ever been a father to you?

Kang, who has been a better father to you?

Think carefully

Xiruo

Xiruo

- Xiruo - Father

lt's me, father

Where's Xiruo?

She said she'd bring Kang-er to me in 10 days

Which day is it today?

Nianci

Where's my wine?

lt's at the inn

Go back to the inn and get it for me

l want to save it for Xiruo

Father

How is it?

Thanks to you, my mother isn't dead

- Come outside, l've to talk to you - What's there to say?

Song Emperor has sent a 9-foot coral tree as a gift

- You should know about this - So what?

ln court today

Father said he wanted to see this tree, but...

What's that got to do with me?

l know your mood is terrible, Kang

But you must look at the bigger picture

Do you still expect me to do things for Jin?

Even if you don't do it for me do it for yourself, Kang

Have you considered the fact that you can do and have anything you want

with everyone wanting to please you

lt's just because you're Little Prince of Jin

What will become of you if you're no longer that?

l am now in power

lf you are still my son my empire will go to you one day

All wealth and riches will be yours

lt is not my fortune

Yes it is You are still my son no matter what

lt's just a matter of how you look at it

Do you consider me your real son?

You're just afraid l'd tell the world about your evil deeds

That will ruin your reputation

l won't fall for your tricks

l know you're not afraid to die l don't intend to kill you

Death is quick. lt's no big deal to die

What's worse is to be tortured slowly strapped to a board

when you can neither live nor die

- Keep a close watch on him - Yes sir

Father, my respects to you

Wishing you health and good fortune

Where's my grandson?

How dare he not come out to welcome father?

Brother, how did you raise him?

Get him out here right now

Kang-er is of ill health Please forgive him, father

Father, please have a seat

Hold on. l want to see my grandson first

Father, he is ill

l will bring him to see you when he is fully recovered

l should see how he is since he is ill

Father

What now?

Kang-er is recuperating elsewhere l sent him to our countryside villa

Sixth Brother, why are you so pale? Are you not well?

You look flustered Are you hiding something from father?

Where is Kang exactly?

l've sent him to the countryside

Dinner is ready. Please have a seat, father

- We're going to the villa now - Father

Your Highness, Little Prince refuses to eat and is smashing up everything

like he's gone crazy

What is happening? Take me to him!

Yes sir

Greeting, Your Highness...

Open the door

How dare you show such disrespect?

Kang, why are you so angry?

Father, Kang-er is an unruly child He wants to marry a geisha

So l had to lock him up here

Even though this behaviour is only natural for hot-blooded young men

what you're doing is going too far

Don't you realise?

You're my grandson who will probably rule the country one day

How can you marry a girl of such low status?

Well, Your Highness

Do you need a sedan to get back to your palace?

l'm never going back there

Look, he really believes he is Little Prince

Do you think he looks the part?

- He looks more like a stray dog - Bark for us

- Bark - Come on...

Sixth Brother, how did you raise this child?

He is ignoring father and doesn't get down on his knees

Kang, what's wrong?

Little Prince? Why don't you ask Hades to adopt you as his god-son?

Greetings to you, Your Highness

That'll do. Get up

l was so worried about you. Are you alright?

Your Highness, l'm fine

Except that l know l've done wrong and feel bad about it

Don't be upset. lt's alright

Come and have a few drinks with me l have much to tell you
