[ I Will Never Let You Go ]

[ Episode 2 ]

Uncle Jiu, the god of fortune showed us his power.

Must be some god up there saw us suffering from hunger and cold.

So they dropped this chunk of silver for us from heaven.

If I told you that Lian Yi Ke gave this to me, would you believe it?

How many times have I told you? Don't talk to people, and don't do business with others.

Why don't you listen to me?

Uncle Jiu, I only did this because you were coughing so bad.

So I want to sell these rice from the westside to eastside, then you will have money for the doctor.

Besides, it's been so long, nobody noticed.

All your enemies, they must have gave up already.

Stupid and arrogant!

They will never give up hunting us.

By doing this, you are putting yourself in danger, don't you see that?

I don't! You never tell me anything!

How can I tell what's dangerous and what's not?

It's for your own good that I kept these away from you!

So was I trying to make money!

You have been begging for decades and now your health is ruined!

You keep coughing like this, you have to go see the doctor.

I am fine, you don't need to worry about me.

I don't need to care?

You have been coughing for months!

You always do that, pretend that you are tough.

Coughing, and begging, you are just not good at that. But you insist as always.

If it's not because of my wit, you can't even get any food.

Yes.

I am useless.

Uncle Jiu, how about this...

You have found out this anyway.

Let's use this money and cure you.

Then when you get better, I promise I will never do any business.

I promise I will listen to you.

If I don't keep my word.

I will become Ah-huang.

Don't be angry anymore. Uncle Jiu, come.

Come on, eat, this is getting cold.

From now on, you will listen to my words?

Yes.

Eat now.

Slowly, don't choke yourself.

Watch out.

Uncle Jiu!

Uncle Jiu, what happened?

Don't scare me, Uncle Jiu!

Doctor, what's going on? What happened to my uncle?

How can he just past out?

His disease has been there for years.

It's too late. All the organs are shutting down.

I think you better prepare for his funeral rather than wasting your time.

I thought he was just coughing.

How can you tell me there's no cure for coughing?

Doctor, please save my uncle, he is the only relative I got.

Please save him.

Miss, please get up.

Miss, I want to save your uncle but I can't.

But I heard there's a special medicine in Yaoling Manor.

It's called Huichun (Spring Return) Pill.

The medicine need three years to collect all the material.

And it took another year to make it. Very precious.

But the price is so high, normal people cannot afford it.

The owner there is a very kind man.

You might can give it a try.

I will go there right now.

Young master, I have asked, that medicine businessman has got away.

And the Yaoling Manor reported the case.

But how can they get the message so quick?

Besides, it's a group of people, why did they think it's Lian Yi Ke's work.

Those robbers were following the businessman.

And now they reported to the officials that it was Lian Yi Ke who stole it.

How can they get the message so fast?

Unless, someone is following the businessman.

Or, it's the people within Yaoling Manor.

Young master?

Young master?

What's on your mind? You have been thinking about it for so long.

That girl cannot do business.

But her uncle want her to be a homeless begger.

To think about it, her story doesn't stand at all.

Then Young master, should we look more into it?

No need.

My father has looked into it already, why bother.

Let's go to Yaoling Manor and take the Huiling Pill first,

then investigate their background. As for the others, don't bother with it.

Yes.

I am the owner of Yaoling Manor, Lin Mantang.

How should I call you?

I didn't know you were coming, Heir Apparent (Prince's heir). Sorry for not welcoming you. Please forgive me.

Get up.

Sit.

Thank you, your highness.

I am here asking medicine for my father.

I don't want others to know my identity.

I understand.

Even if you lend me courage, I wouldn't dare to tell this.

I heard your medicine has magical effect, that you can raise people from death.

It's only rumors.

To raise people from dead is not possible.

But to prolonging people's lives, it is quite effective.

Even when people are dying, when you use this,

You can have another couple of months.

Can you sell me a couple of it?

Our manor should give you for free.

We cannot call it a sale.

We have two more in the house.

I will ask people to fetch it for you.

- Butler. - Master.

Go to the stock and take the last two medicine for Young Lord.

Yes, my master.

Thank you for the kindness.

I heard you are the biggest family in west state.

Your house is the most luxury.

So I wanted to pay a visit.

It's really nothing, we are just a humble household in a village.

Only the place is big, nothing compares to the mansions in the capital city.

If you want, I would like to show you around.

Let's go then.

Please.

[ Yaoling Manor ]

Open the door.Open the door.

- Coming! Coming! - Open the doors!

I...

Go go go, there are a few days till we have our porridge give out.

I am not here to beg, I am here to buy your medicine.

What medicine?

-Huichun Pill. -You want to buy that?

You know how expensive that is?

One thousand tael of silver, maybe.

Besides, we only have two now. Off you go now.

I only need one.

I have more than 50 taels of silver here.

You see, if that's not enough, I can pay you by month.

If that's not enough, I can sell myself, and work for you.

I am very smart.

Didn't expect you little homeless girl have so much money.

I told you, even if you have the money, you can't buy it.

Our master just sold the pills to one young master named Chen.

You should go now.

No, I need the pill!

Go go.

Open...

I redecorate these all by myself.

Your highness.

Young Lord Chen, how long do you plan on staying here in Xizhou Prefecture?

Two or three days. The west state is far from anywhere, nothing fun for me to do.

I will go back to the capital in two or three days.

You need a local guide to show you the real beauty of this place.

If you don't mind, I can ask my daughter Dan Sha.

To accompany you during your visit here, how do you think?

How can I bother Miss Lin for such trouble?

This is my daughter's honor.

Okay.

Then, thanks for troubling her.

Master Lin.

Please, please, my uncle is dying, I knew you have the pill.

Please, sell it to me. So I can save him.

Young Master, isn't she the one from the morning?

I have given the pills to young master Chen here. But I appreciate you being such a nice kid.

Go fetch some aged ginseng for her.

Young Lord Chen?

I knew you are all playboys.

Not someone nice.

Just listen to the story, don't talk.

Let me through.

Young Lord Chen, why do you need the pill?

My father had some cold.

I need these to help him get better.

I need the pills to save a life, and you need it to stay healthy.

I heard you bought two? Can you give me one?

When they make another one, you can buy it till then.

You do have a point.

Thank you, Young Lord Chen!

Don't thank me yet.

You have a point.

But nobody can take my stuff away from me.

You...

You homeless girl, don't you have some manners?

You are here after him. He got the pills first, he can deal with the pills however he likes.

Besides, I have given you the ginseng, why aren't you satisfied?

What are you doing? Let go of our master!

You buy the pills for your father that's very touching.

But my relative is dying.

He raised me up back when I was a kid.

But now I cannot repay his favor.

And I have to bury him with my own hands.

The heartbreak, the helplessness.

The hopeless. You must know that feel.

Let go!

Let go!

I cannot feel that.

I knew!

Actually, you do understand me.

But because I acted reckless this morning.

That makes you very angry.

I apologize.

That storyteller, he is talking nonsense.

What Lian Yi Ke? There is no way he can shoot ten arrows at one time.

You don't need to apologize.

Now I get the pills, I feel great.

-Master Lin. -What are you all doing?

Get her out!

Young Lord Chen, please sell me the pills!

Please, please don't.

-Go go go. -I really need it!

What stupid Young Lord Chen?

Playboys.

I knew you were no good at first sight!

I am sorry.

I cannot.

I cannot get the pills.

Sad music.

I shouldn't have that fight with you, I am sorry.

Please wake up.

I promise I will never make you angry.

I will stop doing business with you.

I will beg for food very seriously.

Please wake up!

Lian Yi Ke?

Huichun Pill!

Uncle Jiu!

Come.

Lian Yi Ke!

Thank you so much!

Uncle Jiu! You are awake! Great!

Get me up.

Uncle Jiu.

I thought I will never see you again.

I thought I can't see you again either.

I thought...

I can take care of you for the rest of your life.

But...I overestimated myself.

For so many years.

You are the one who have been taking care of me.

The days...

Are short for me.

I will take you to the capital city.

To find Mr. Zhu.

You want to know your birth, right?

When we get there, I will tell you.

You are a grown up now.

You can decide your path from now on.

Go to the capital?

But how?

Yaoling Manor

Financial Book.

Within four hours, make a copy of it. I need to put it back.

Yes, my young master.

Give me some.

Sister Xiao Hua, do you still want clothes today?

No.

Please let me through.

Have you seen anyone like her?

No.

Ahshan, I am leaving, I won't be collecting clothes anymore.

You can just send the clothes to aunty.

-Okay. -Take care.

-Go! -Catch her!

Go tell our lady.

Who let you in?

I am here to see someone.

Get out.

Oh, I found him! Young Lord Chen.

Homeless girl.

You are quite good, to find me here.

You can go now. I will not give you the pill.

Seems like the stupid Young Lord Chen didn't know that Lian Yi Ke took the pill.

Oh, Young Lord Chen, you must have misunderstood me.

I heard that you are going back to the capital.

And ask if you can give me a ride.

You will be very bored on the way.

If you can take me, I will do some tricks to make you laugh.

You want to take your relative to the capital and treat him?

You are so handsome and smart, yes!

If any girl can marry you, she will be very happy for her life.

This...The doctor here cannot treat my uncle.

I heard the doctors are better in the capital, so I want to go.

But the road is long, and my uncle is very sick, he cannot travel long distance.

So I want to ask the very smart and

and very kind Young Lord Chen to protect and take us with you to the capital.

I will be eternally grateful.

I will pray for you forever in my house.

You make it sound so nice.

But actually you were cursing inside, right?

I don't know you, why should I help?

If you want to go, you go by yourself. Leave me alone.

Young Lord Chen!

What are you doing?

My uncle cannot travel in terrible carriage now.

He is very sick.

I know, I was wrong.

I apologize, but my uncle cannot wait any longer.

Young Master, why don't we just take her back with us?

Let go.

Please, Young Lord.

Let go.

You really won't do this?

No!

Then don't regret this.

Why would I? I am happy to have some quiet moments.

- Young Master! - No...

-Look, look. -Why is she crying so sad?

It's okay that you don't want me.

But you cannot leave the kid in me!

What are you talking about?

Hey, it's not like what you think it is!

Rich boy is abandoning the poor girl.

Who is?

How do you know? These rich family.

Have so many dirty secrets.

What are you talking about? Our master don't know you at all.

I knew I am from a poor family.

I shouldn't ask for so much.

But that day...you and I...

You said you will take me away.

I am telling you, if you don't stop, I will tear your face apart.

You crazy woman, I've been served my master since he was a kid. We never saw you.

Don't try to ruin his reputation!

You only serve your master in the day.

Do you know what your master has been doing during night?

He was not in the inn last night—

Stop talking!

Okay okay.

Young Lord Chen, look at that. Why make it so awkward?

I was only trying to ask you to do some charity work.

I promise, after this, I will leave you alone for good.

If you agree, I will go downstairs and explain it to them right now

that I mistook you for someone else.

You think you can threaten me like this?

Maybe you can try?

You said you have a kid inside?

What?

You are shy now?

You are no beauty.

But a good looking girl.

If you sleep with me.

I will take you to the capital, how about that?

Hua Bu Qi, why are you panicking?

He is only bluffing.

This kind of playboy.

He will never like you.

No, Young Lord.

It's daylight.

No, Young Master, don't do this.

There are so many people outside watching us.

Shut up!

Stop!

Young Master, that hurts!

Go away. What's there to look?

Go go go.

Shut up!

Ah Shi.

Go get the laundry and let her wash it.

And the clothes in the bag, they are probably bit smelly now. Give it all to her.

Watch her. If it's not clean,

We won't take her to the capital.

Yes, Young Master.

As long as I finished washing the clothes, you will take me to the capital?

Yes.

Okay, that's a promise.

Miss Lin.

My father asked me to guide you to tour around the state.

I wonder when do you want to leave.

We can go now. Thank you for the trouble.

You are welcome, to accompany you, that's my honour.

Ah Shi, watch her.

Before I get back.

All the clothes.

Need to be clean.

Only some clothes.

I will clean them for you.

Go now.Don't let the pretty girl wait.

Only some laundry.

Where are they?

These are two people's laundry?

These are all master's.And it's only because we are traveling.

In the capital, he has two rooms.

Only for clothing.

I don't get rich people.

Why does he need so many clothes? He wouldn't be able to wear all of them.

He is no normal people.

It's nothing that he has some clothes.

You can wash them now.

Bullshit young master.

Try to challenge me? I will show you what I have got.

Isn't this the girl in the lobby?

This is so cruel. To make her wash clothes.

-In such cold weather. -That man is no good.

No man is good.

Girl, don't wash these.

You have a baby in you.

Take care of your body, you know?

Aunty, it's okay.

I have no other way. This is my life.

Nevermind, leave her alone.

Don't mind other people's business.

-Pah. -Pah.

No...what's that?

What a terrible person.

You all...

Wash clothes...Wash clothes...

Young Lord Chen, I come here very often.

Do you find it beautiful?

The vision is pretty, but nothing compares to the lady in front of me.

I didn't expect in a small city like Xichuzhou.

Can have a beauty like Miss Lin.

Thank you for the compliment.

The road is not safe to walk around recently.

Lian Yi Ke robbed a businessman in daylight.

I planned on getting back as soon as I got the pills.

Seems I need to stay longer.

You are very nice.

By the way, miss Lin.

I heard that medicine businessman bought the goods from your family?

Exactly. And that businessman belongs to the Feiyun Fortress, one of the big four clans.

And he was robbed before he can leave Xizhou Prefecture.

My dad was very bothered.

That Lian Yi Ke is such a bold man.

How dare he rob Feiyun Fortress?!

Master Lin is sure that he did this?

I don't know about that.

My dad never let me ask about these stuff.

You are right.

Let's not talk about these unhappy topics.

And enjoy the view.

What a terrible man.

Pah.

Hey you...

Young Master.

Why are you here? I told you to watch her do the laundry.

Don't mention it.

Hua Bu Qi has been messing around.

And she talked a lot of bad things about you.

Take her to my room right now.

Yes.

You told me as long as I take you to the capital, you will explain.

Why are you still pretend that you are pregnant to make people feel sorry for you?

Oh it's really not me.

I was just having a stomachache for stepping in cold water.

People misunderstood me, what can I do?

You were pretending!

How did you see me pretending?

How about you stepping in cold water and wash clothes?

You will be like me too.

-Nevermind. -You...

You can go back.

Young Lord Chen, you said that if I wash clothes for you,

And you take me to the capital.

You are a big man, don't break your promise.

I will do your laundry.

You don't need to.

Give me your address. I will let Ah Shi inform you once we're leaving.

I leave in the wrecked house near Shili pavilion.

I hope you are a man of your words.

Don't run away and not tell me.

You can rest assured, I will take you there.

Otherwise, I can't imagine how you gonna ruin my name.

If you keep doing that, how can I face the world.

You can rest assured, I will tell them right now.

Thank you very much, Young Lord Chen.

Ah Shi.

This homeless girl.

Is there any possibility that she is the daughter of my father?

The face is very much alike.

But the rest? We need to investigate more.

I didn't look for her.

But she kept showing up.

And make me to take her to the capital.

If she really is my father's daughter.

I will never take her.

If she is not?

If not.

This is just a poor homeless girl.

I just want to help her.

Young master, why bother now.

We can investigate her identity now.

If she is not the daughter of your father.

You can have one more company on the road.

And you can save a person's life. No need to overthink this.

If she is the daughter of your father.

We can make other plans.

Oh yes, master. Why don't I get her and let's ask?

No.

The kid is full of lies. No way we can get the truth.

I will find out about it.

If she is not.

The kid is quite smart.

More useful than you.

Young master, I was just not eloquent like her.

I am not stupid.

[ Prince Xin Manor ]

Master, I have news.

-Is she really at the Xizhou Prefecture? -According to the source.

They found a girl there, the face and the age all matched.

And she has an Uncle Jie by her side.

The uncle looks like Zhu Hua a lot.

Besides the uncle won't allow her to do business.

And they just begging for food. But the girl is making money secretly.

There's something wrong.

Did you get the girl?

According to the report, they have been informed.

-And ready to leave the sate. The secret security said you should send more people there. -More people?

Where can I get more people?

Since the king ascend the throne.

He trapped me in the capital.

Saying something like we are close and it would break his heart if I go.

And make me in charge of the money.

But he is afraid.

That I go back to my land and rebel.

How can I send more security to there?

If the brother knew I have a private security army,

He will make me stay in the house and never go out.

Master.

The king only knew that you were looking for your daughter.

Maybe we can notify the local government office in Xizhou Prefecture

And the four families to help us look for her.

Your name will make them help us.

No...

What if...

Zhu Hua want to perish us all.

and announce to the world that we are looking for Biluotian's holy woman?

Then us...

All the hard work went for nothing.

You are overthinking this. Besides if that Uncle Jiu really is Zhu Hua.

He can give up such big business here.

To be a homeless guy.

How can he announce this to the world?

If that's true, the girl will be the target for so many people.

She will never be in peace.

Your Highness, we cannot wait any longer.

We finally have a lead. If we don't act now.

How many years are we gonna wait?

-Besides, Yu'er is in Xizhou Prefecture now. He can go find... -Wait.

Yu'er is in Xizhou Prefecture?

Yu'er might be fighting with you a lot.

But he worried about you very much.

This time he visit Xizhou Prefecture in undercover.

In order to go to Yaoling Manor.

To find the pills for you.

Ah Fu.

To be safe.

You cannot let anyone find out about this.

I will write to Yu'er right now.

I will tell him that this is my only wish before I die.

He must find the person in Xizhou Prefecture

And bring her back.

Mingyue Mansion

Master.

Feiyun Fortress didn't prepare for this at all.

We only sent about 5 or 6 people there.

How can we lost?

It was me, I didn't think this thoroughly.

When we are in action, we send someone to seek for Xue Fei's daughter.

Who knew there will be a Lian Yi Ke there.

If it's not because we need to find the person, the assassin I sent can totally kill the Lian Yi Ke.

Be more careful from now on.

The marriage between Feiyun Fortress and Mo Family is strong.

I was going to use this chance.

And sabotage their war house delivery for the king.

If the king blamed the Feiyun Fortress.

I can distance the two family.

And make Feiyun Fortress on my side.

Now seems.

We have to wait another chance.

I will help you get them.

But I don't understand.

Why do you want to find the daughter of Xue Fei?

You knew she is the unlawful child of Seventh Prince.

She is not only the unlawful child of Seventh Prince.

More importantly, she is also the daughter of Xue Fei.

I understand now.

You cannot forget Xue Fei.

That's why you want her. To remind you of her.

You can trust me.

I will help you find her.

But I will kill her right away, you won't see her again.

Uncle Jiu!

You are back.

Uncle Jiu, you...

You are so much better!

Oh those pills are great!

My health is much better.

Tomorrow we will go back to the capital right away.

Uncle Jiu, no rush.

I have found a way to get us there.

Just wait two days, we can get a ride all the way to the capital.

Stupid girl, I have the money for a carriage.

Till now, I have something to tell you.

You found us after all.

You are good at hiding. Too bad you cannot hide forever.

The things we Mingyue Villa wants, we will get them.

Kill them!

Let's go!

Uncle Jiu!

Buqi!

You go first, Buqi, I will stop them!

-Go! -Watch out!

Uncle Jiu!

Uncle Jiu! Uncle Jiu!

Buqi, you have to stay alive.

Don't let them get you.

Get the pottery.

Go to the pawn shop at the south lane in capital city and ask for Mr. Zhu.

Give the pottery to Mr. Zhu. Remember.

The pawn shop at the south lane in capital city, give it to Mr. Zhu and nobody else, you remember me now?

Yes.

Kill!

No!!!

Uncle Jiu!

Go now!!

Buqi, go now!

Go!!!

Uncle Jiu!

Go!!!
